Diomonde has scored a couple of quality goals, but that's it. He's supposedly a CM playmaker, but can anyone say he's dictated any game he's played in? Nope, me either!

Rtr, give the boy time he's barely had time to adjust to our league. He's in a new country new team mates, it's a step up in class to which I'm sure he'll adjust to, I've no worries about him seen flashes to think there's a player there. We badly need need a goalscoring mf, John lundstrums finishing is some of the worst I've ever seen, goes for power every time when there's no need to.

For a while out defence was holding a high line, which reduced the distance between our midfield and forwards - during which we were looking really good.
Even against Benfica at home, at times our defensive line was in their half.
In recent weeks we've regressed and the back line is sitting deep and our midfield has been really disconnected.
Whatever the line up on Sunday, hope we have the bravery to hold a high line.

I would think our recent capitulation, BB3, would be proof we don't have time to let players adjust. This seems to be the go to from fans when new players come in and don't hit the heights needed. Strange how the tims players didn't need that much time to adjust, eh?!
I'm confident in what I have seen of the boy to declare he will not be a success. This is my opinion.

Diomonde had let it drop in his last couple of games, so much being no one was gutted he was out for the county game, once he gets used to the pace of the game and time on the ball he will kick on.

Has it not occured to anyone that maybe diomande needs to be the guy on the ball rather than lundstram to flourish? And how often Is the midfield bypassed when its not lundstram collecting it? RTR i think you are wrong about the boy i think he will be a quality player.

Players don’t have time to settle is a new one for me, not any different from starting work in a new organisation you need time to find your feet before there is the expectation that you should be delivering 100%.

Mark they maybe average but that makes us worse than average as we have failed to beat them in 3 games we have played them this season.

Rtr, I take it your old enough to remember one of our greatest ever goalscorers ally mcoist getting dogs abuse for not settling quickly enough? Or more recently dujon Sterling being wrote off after 2 or 3 cameos. Raise the step up in class I was talking about was celtic and benfica, were he wasn't at his best not the spl, surely that's a step up from what he was used to playing against. Don't agree the Tim's didn't need time to adjust ange first season they went 4-5 games without a win.
