Danilo, looks good to me, time will tell, Lammers just didn't get it at Rangers but when you see how he's doing in Holland, it's fair to see why he was bought. Also Sima on loan, I think we'd have won the league if he hadn't been out since Jan. Overall all, maybe it was the reliance on some the core of an aging and tired defense and defensive midfield rather than the incoming. I'm positive about what next year brings, we can't keep changing manager every year, still think Gio let go too soon, and in hindsight, maybe a few stalwarts downed tools for him too.

Baz - good balanced post.
The tendency sometimes is to look at new signings for someone to blame but definitely think the old guard are past their best and need refreshed with some fresh blood.

Gio got us to a European final, won a Scottish cup. The football under his successors hasn’t exactly been eye-catching! definitely got hung out to dry!

Fair point but remember MB rarely even played 3 of his own signings. Gio was undone by disaster in defence having to go with Sands and King.
