I think this rumour has been driven from the Celtic fans. I’ll be surprised if Butland isn’t our keeper this time next year.

I've said all along JB was here to put himself in the shop window, if this is true we need to cash in, quickly, clause or not we need to get as much (we've not been great at that) as possible, as soon as possible so PC can start his rebuild for next year.

Butland is up here on his own and has young family back in the Midlands. It would not be surprising if he took an opportunity to move back down if he got one.

Dado - Think possibly JB is looking further than Euros regarding gaining a place (ie World Cup) but would be more than happy if he stayed with us for a while- but if big cash offered PC may look to rebuild all round.

That works all day long for us and gives us a pretty penny to re invest in the squad
He will be hard to replace though as he has been amazing this season.

I rate Butland highly, but I doubt we get 15-20m for a keeper playing in Scotland, I'm afraid
10-12 max I'd say. Looking at a keeper playing in Belgium for the 4m mark, leaves some money to buy a striker and ch.

I would prefer that we kept Butland but I'm sure that Clement and his Team will have identified a quality keeper to replace him should he go.
We don't have a keeper at Ibrox that even comes close to Butland but if we can secure serious money for him and those funds are given to Clement as part of a larger fund to rebuild the side then that could be a plus.

We may get lower but whatever we get is profit and he's been outstanding this season.
