Oli McBurnie Is a no brainer for me 27 years old and this season so far 20 league games 6 goals and 3 assists and would be a free transfer I believe.

I don't get this with McBurnie, I think he is awful, only reason people talk about him to rangers because he supports the team. Shankland and Miovski are far better options, yes u will need to pay but McBurnie is awful, if he was doing well he would be in the Scotland squad, he hasn't been near it in absolute year.

If we are signing a Rangers daft Scottish centre forward I’d take Shankland all day long over McBurnie. Above all else we need strikers who are a goal threat, nobody better in our league than Shankland at bringing that and he’s not going to cost as much going into his last year of contract.

McBurnie is quicker and sharper than Shankland, that's not difficult though . Knocking people about scoring and assisting in the top league . Shankland is at Gorgie for a reason and if he's any sense he will stay there. No club in the league McBurnie is in will be trying to sign Shankland, or the league under it .

I would choose Mcburnie over shankland every day of the week, Shankland isn't capable of playing in that league, Mcburnie is his teams top scorer.

6 goals 3 assists in 20 games for Sheffield utd in the epl, many our cf's would do that for them orange tinted? or would Shankland do that? very doubtful in my opinion because he wouldn't play.

You need to actually watch mcburnie to understand he’s a good player if you’re watching bits here and there he looks rubbish. I’ve watched a few games with Sheffield Utd vs Fulham and Chelsea and he rag dolled there defenders the full game, think he scored in both too. He 100% offers something we don’t have which is a physical presence on a free he’s a no brainer.

McBurnie would do very well in our league, look at Shankland he does ok in it and was crap elsewhere . Hearts have had no offers not even a rumour other than someone mentioned the potato arena fc . McBurnie would have no problems with defences in this league, he doesn't want to play for Scotland but who does?

Sorry but if it’s olly mcburnie then nothing at club has changed and it’s still club targets rather than manager or new recruitment team that’s signing these project rehab players
We need to move away from that and exploit other markets
Silva was a lazy signing oh he cost Wolves 35 million or whatever must have something about him nonsense he’s rotten I get that he’s still young but honestly we need someone who can do it now silva not the answer.

At a time when we yet again need to replace pretty much an entire team, McBurnie would be an excellent acquisition. I have watched Sheffield United quite a few times this season and in a very poor team he stands out. Fights for every ball, outmuscles defenders and scores goals.
Bringing in people of this quality and better on Bosmans will allow us to concentrate our spending on quality young players with the potential to develop into world class players.
The prime objective must be to sign quality players with a winning mentality that will die for the jersey. That is something that can't be said about a number of the current squad.
Fundamentally, if we are to progress and be a team that can win the league comfortably, we need to spend serious money. Our transfers since we won 55 have been abysmal.

I honestly don't understand how people can say oli mcburnie on a free would be a bad signing, he is completely different to what we have, a player of his mould is badly needed in games we need to mix it up, strength, power, height, he's a very dogged player I'd love him as an option in certain games, I don't believe he is prolific but he has good attributes that would enhance our squad, I think we miss that type of put yourself about striker in tight games.
