Butland made 2 outstanding saves yesterday one may have had the hearts player just off side but known our luck if he had scored it would have counted.
Souter had a couple errors in his game yesterday one which could have cost us.
what's the deal now with Goldson will we see him start another game? How will he himself be feeling now known he was officially dropped by the manager can he be man enough to come back into the team and play better if given the chance or will he now be looking for his exit?
Thought cantwell played well yesterday some decent runs and obviously the assists he had
Matondo a few wee good runs also at times
Sterling was solid very good utility player to have at the club.
Dessers couldn't fault 2 goals and should have had an assist for the diving Silva
Summer think we are all in agreement defence will need properly looked at along with midfield for me Lunny needs to go we need an upgrade for moving forward along with all the players previously mentioned across the forum that will be out of contract and the club looking to move a good few on
Think it will be hard to replace Butland in summer if he indeed does go for a big transfer
Said a few times already going to be a massive summer for us made easier if we somehow pull the league out the bag
if not, we'll maybe we shouldn't talk about if nots and think positively that we still have a chance and what a massive difference it will make for the club in a whole if we do it for moving us forward .

In my view, Lundstram can leave. Especially with what he is demanding but more on his performances over his Rangers career.
I’d be quite happy with a youthful midfield of Raskin and Diomande.
Need a new striker - fingers crossed not Shankland as he failed his audition again in front of Clement.
He’s yet to impress me against Rangers.
I actually think a few of our players are needing a decent preseason without niggles and they might just do us a turn.

are loads of good keepers out there. more concerned about defence and a decent 6 yard box hitman. Dessers did the job yesterday and Ill judge him more against the our rivals

But Big Phil has already stated he has 4 good Centre Backs and Goldson was rested which he was going to do against Dundee if Balagon was available but he wasn’t.

Sorry stig but Matondo was absolutely horrible yesterday, worse than a man down. First thing he did was run the ball out of play because he can’t control a ball properly, last thing he did was fall over on the ball looking for a non existent free kick. Everything in between was just as bad. The awful thing is we are left with a choice now between him and Silva on the left side of attack. Out of the two I’d almost have to go for Silva just now as although he is also horrendous he can actually just about control a ball, occasionally pass to others and does work back and help out cover his left back. Matondo doesn’t even do any of those things. We are really struggling in forward areas now if Sima is out again.

matondo was poor yesterday, but the midfield hardly ever put the ball into the wide open spaces in front of him, he couldn't get into a groove, shankland was head n shoulders above the rest of his fellow attackers, they weren't on his wavelength, all in all hearts will be very disappointed they didn't do much, rangers were comfortable winners.

You’re right Tom but Matondo needs to be able to offer more than the occasional run when in open space or his new found ability to cut in on his right and hit a shot. He’s useful as an impact player in the last 20mins or so when teams tire but if he’s going to start then he has to be able to offer more. He doesn’t track back well, he shirks out of 50/ 50’s, he can’t beat a man from a standing start (or is afraid to even try most of the time) . His crossing and passing is poor. Yesterday isn’t the first time he’s basically been like a man down.

Matondo is usually poor let’s be honest he done well when he came on against Hibs and Celtic but that’s about it.

Both wingers don’t produce the goods regularly. Apart from goals against Hibs/ Celtic Matondo either runs the ball out, falls over it or passes it back. As for McAusland don’t see anything in his game worthy of a place.
