Just like Beale PC will have had most of a season to assess squad and see what we need, if he makes a mess of it like MB then he'll be judged accordingly. Difference is PC looks like he actually has a clue what he's doing rather than going off 4 yr old scout reports and can't see treating players as poorly either.

We need to be patient and can't keep sacking managers because we are behind other mob in Oct, I will back. pc if I see improvement and good football so we might need to give him a full season with his own signings before judging him.

Absolutely agree want to give manager time and do believe PC will get it right but if like MB it becomes clear he's made a mess of transfers he should suffer the same. Don't want to keep changing management but if they doing badly do we keep them or keep this squad together because we don't want more change? Anyway I'm pretty confident in PC given the job he's done so far.

Worry for me is the change in qualification for CL, do we really have another season of experimenting, and miss out on mega ££££.

New to the site although I've been reading it for years, some great information on here and that's why I read the site, no the posts above regarding the manager, I totally agree that he should be given time and also to bring in his own players.
One concern I have had this season is his formation, he seems to stick to 4-2-3-1, I think this needs to change especially against the other mob, I feel we lose the midfield when we play this formation.
Just my opinion but would like to hear what others think.

Agree BJ. The gaffer might be a great man manager and coach but he doesn’t seem to be a great tactician. We play the same formation regardless of the opposition and also the personnel available to him. We haven’t had decent wingers this season, yet we play with wingers?
Hate to say it but even steve Clarke understands this with the national team. He suits his formation to get the best players on the pitch. I’m m sure he would like to play with wingers but doesn’t have any so picks a formation to suit. Yet we regularly watch a RB play LW? It’s baffling at times.

Have to agree BJ and zikos. All our wingers are poor imo and don't hit any sort of respectable numbers. I said to my mate today i'd like us to go 2 up top at parkhead and flood the midfield to press and get it forward at every opportunity. Sterling CM is a must for me. Hope Ridvan is back though.

Big dado sima had excellent numbers as a winger, think he could have hit the 20 mark if not injured mate, apart from him agree, we at least have to try something different.

Boy blue simanumbers excellent for a guy who mostly plays wide, get 20 a season from both wide positions would go a long way to winning more trophies.

Ur spot on and I’ve mentioned something similar before, it suits them the way we play it leaves gaps and hate to admit it but their press is more fluid.
If we don’t try and sit in and be more disciplined next week then it will be more of the same, not sure the manager wants to play an extra body in midfield though.
firmly believe if we can be level at half time then we have a right good chance of turning them over, their intensity goes down second half.
Obviously added to that we have to take any chances when they come our way.
Can’t remember a time when we won there when we didn’t have to fight and do the ugly stuff especially in the first part of the game.
Maybe Lundstram to drop in to protect both centre half’s with Sterling and Diomande in midfield as well.
Remember us having a bit of joy with that in the Europa league run.

Trueblue during our euro run we had midfielders who were very good at ball retention, davis, jack and kamara. Helps a lot. We can be very slack in the middle just now. But celtic are there to be got at, i'd be very disappointed if we sat in and lost anyway. Angry actually.

Dado I don’t mean sitting in top of the goalie, more like being a bit more disciplined when they have it, watched Hearts have joy against them playing a similar way with three in the middle, let’s be honest we are going to suffer at times so we will have to sit in at some points.
