I said it was mentioned on here with a shrug of the shoulders as I don’t know I’d imagine only a few people actually know if there is or isn’t. Fact is we aren’t getting £15/ 20m for him.

Would be very surprised if we got double figures for Butland, clause or no clause. He gets a decent contract offer he is off. (Will he though? )

We apparently set a 15m minimum a few months ago. It was widely reported.

Sell him for 15 if we are confident in the ability of a replacement, we can’t keep losing out on fees that could improve the squad and end up with players leaving for nothing.

Butland showed at Manchester United that money is not the main driving force or he would have signed a new contract to stay down South. I believe that being at a club where he enjoys his football and can win trophies is more of a motivator for him and in that respect hopefully he will stay with us and we bring in the quality needed to play alongside him so that we can get back to where we belong.
