Anyone got any idea who the three trialists are who are lining up against Cambridge today? No making stuff up please.

Theswagman

1.) 16 Jul 2019 11:46:13
All young boys freed by EPL teams.

2.) 16 Jul 2019 11:47:16
I heard it was snap crackle and pop.

3.) 16 Jul 2019 14:11:20
Rachi from spurs, young boy from man city is the only two i know.

4.) 16 Jul 2019 14:55:57
Royal blue they r already signed.

5.) 16 Jul 2019 15:24:51
John, i'm sure Albert rachi was a trialist today. He has not signed yet.

6.) 16 Jul 2019 16:14:19
Heard from a reliable source it was Larry, Curly and Mo?

7.) 16 Jul 2019 16:16:30
Whatever. He was a named player in 9-1 win against Huddersfield.

8.) 16 Jul 2019 19:06:53
My boy thinks one of the loan players was Kane from Liverpool. He got text from mate who played for Dundee
Not sure the rule re playing another clubs player as a trialists.
I know we did it with Ruth last year.

9.) 16 Jul 2019 19:09:47
Royal blue young boy hosler we signed from Man City played mate.

10.) 16 Jul 2019 20:04:56
Royal blue, Rachi and Hosler have both signed and both played for the u18s today. The 3 trialists were playing for the development squad also today. No idea who they are though.

11.) 16 Jul 2019 20:57:13
Awww my bad musta saw something and got confused. can't see anything online about rachi signing though.

12.) 16 Jul 2019 23:15:13
1 of the trialists was Max Hutchinson, son of former Scotland player Don.

13.) 17 Jul 2019 00:43:19
John he was a trialist in the 9-1 game as well says so in the news real regarding the game if u just read it all will be clear.

14.) 17 Jul 2019 09:12:18
Ok Alexander. Very unusual to name him and not put him down as trialist in Huddersfield game.

15.) 17 Jul 2019 11:07:50
Think it was Tom, Dick and Harry.

08 May 2019 13:10:42
Apparently we are after Zander Clark for £1m? Anyone else think that's madness when Liam Kelly is apparently available for £50k? Clark is decent but is he any better than Fod or Alnwick?

Theswagman

1.) 08 May 2019 13:52:03
Agree mate.

2.) 08 May 2019 15:09:40
He got beat from 40 yards at the weekend so I hope we’re not paying £1m.

3.) 08 May 2019 16:20:23
Its'crazy' that would even have to pay 50k for Kelly!

4.) 08 May 2019 16:40:03
I would rather we re-signed our former young goalkeeper, liam kelly.
Said before on here that kelly should never have been let go to livingston. He's the natural successor to allan mcgregor as far as i'm concerned!

5.) 08 May 2019 18:23:49
Supercooper he was not let go. He left at end of contract as we signed McGregor.

6.) 08 May 2019 19:12:41
SC11 not one person in the coaching team gives two hoots who you think is McGregors natural successor. Your like a broken record going on and on and on about Kelly. HE LEFT, HE WANTED TO GO. Change the record.

7.) 08 May 2019 19:44:29
L17 correct mate. If we kept or signed everyone coops said we would have a squad of 80.

8.) 08 May 2019 20:29:34
JBoy 21 highly rates them all ;-) apart fae Shinnie he has always stated his dislike of Shinnie or has been consistent in saying he was not being good enough.

9.) 08 May 2019 20:40:38
Chill we have 2 McCrories lol.

10.) 09 May 2019 04:04:53
If we sign him it'll be for nothing remotely close to £1m. Behave.

11.) 09 May 2019 07:19:15
We aren’t after him for £1 million killie have priced him at that.

12.) 09 May 2019 10:19:54
Would help if he played for killie Dee haha he’s st Johnstone goalie, imo liam kelly would be ideal replacement, great keeper with a great attitude.

13.) 09 May 2019 10:22:24
Doesn't play for Killie mate.

14.) 09 May 2019 12:25:20
Exactly Jboy and in my honest opinion I truly believe that they’d all be future captains 🙈.

15.) 09 May 2019 18:59:17
I don’t believe that anyone on the coaching team gives two hoots about what anyone thinks on here!

Is SC’s opinion less worthy than the rest on here?

Started the second half with 2 up front. Took us 5 mins to get level. Surely the manager has to wake up and smell the coffee at some point?

Theswagman

1.) 23 Feb 2020 15:06:11
Agree swagman, the difference since going 442 is night and day. Kamberi has been class. 👍.

2.) 23 Feb 2020 15:13:53
Then he changes it back to a 433 and we lose a goal. Gerrard will never learn👍.

3.) 23 Feb 2020 15:27:17
Then he moves it back to a 433 with alfredo off waste of time,25 good mins on thursday painting over the cracks 10 points dropped since the break not good anuff atall, sg will never learn and if it keeps going it will find him under big pressure lucky he has his name or he would be getting pelters.

4.) 23 Feb 2020 15:34:41
Yep, needs to go.

23 Feb 2020 14:05:12
Rotten again so far today. Told everyone we would learn zero lessons from Thursday. Everyone could see how much better we were when we moved from this daft formation bar the manager.

Theswagman

21 Feb 2020 16:47:24
Was anyone else seeing what I was seeing, that wide left might be Aribo’s best position? Would love to see a 4-2-3-1 with him left and Kent right and Hagi just behind the striker (who for the next game I think should be Kamberi) . I think Kent would be much more effective hugging the touch line and told to beat his man and get in crosses. Tav could underlap inside as Tav’s crossing is very hit and miss but his shooting from range isn’t bad.

Theswagman

1.) 21 Feb 2020 16:55:19
I like your thinking swag, the best form of defence is attack.

2.) 21 Feb 2020 17:01:53
Theswagman, correct my man, that would work and is exciting . Without Morelos AGAIN who keeps letting everyone down. 🍺.

3.) 21 Feb 2020 17:26:31
Think Morelos may be out for st Johnstone game to give Kamberi a chance to get 90 mins in the team rather than throwing him in from start on Wednesday
That’s if the game in Perth goes ahead! 🌨🌨🌨
St Mirren v Hearts off tonight already.

4.) 21 Feb 2020 17:28:42
Swagman he played wide left 1st oldfirm game of season and was probably his worst game for us.

5.) 21 Feb 2020 17:41:03
How did Morelos let us down, had 3 attempts saved and made it hard work for their defence?

6.) 21 Feb 2020 18:23:53
Morelos played well last night but his lack of discipline and self control is not acceptable.

7.) 21 Feb 2020 18:34:54
Oaft - how did Morelos let us down? can't believe you have asked that question. He's only got himself suspended for the return game!

8.) 21 Feb 2020 19:03:50
so what did you see in Kamberi to make you think he will do what Morelos didnt? oh did i miss his goal last night?

9.) 21 Feb 2020 20:41:15
So you want Kent, who gets stick for cutting inside when playing wide left, to now play wide right and have to cut back inside onto his left to cross the ball? 😂😂😂😂.

10.) 22 Feb 2020 13:44:19
Paul, Aribo didn’t play WIDE left against Celtic, he played as one of our daft “two number 10s. ”

Tupac, Kent is right footed, he just happens to also be very good with his left. He cuts inside when playing on the left as as above he is playing as one of the stupid “two number 10s” so he’s instructed to come inside. If he was WIDE right there would be no need or instruction for him to cut inside, just go to the byline and whip in crosses.

20 Feb 2020 21:22:42
Watching Braga it shows the difference a proper manager can make to a group of players. Totally turned around basically the same group and they’ve just beaten Porto, Benfica and tore us to shreds. Imagine what an actual manager who knows what he is doing could do with our players?

Theswagman

1.) 20 Feb 2020 22:25:20
Eat that swag 👍.

2.) 20 Feb 2020 22:33:38
big slice of pie swagman?

3.) 20 Feb 2020 22:53:20
You on the right page swag?

I’m feeling that you might just be disappointed that you have been made to eat your green hat 😃.

4.) 21 Feb 2020 00:22:11
Thebag man, ha ha ha, eat my socks, lol.

5.) 21 Feb 2020 00:31:10
Not really, we were absolutely shocking with the formation and tactics the manager set out, it was only when his hand was forced that we actually did anything. Shows you how good the players could be used correctly.

6.) 21 Feb 2020 08:33:24
The change in the game was made by stevie. Your point is pointless!

20 Feb 2020 19:06:36
Just seen the lineup, we had better win tonight and Kent had better turn up for the first time in 2020. So predictable with lineups and formations, just plays right into the oppositions hands as the always know exactly who we will play and how. Celtic change it up a bit and keep folk guessing and that’s a massive part of why they are ahead of us.

Theswagman

1.) 20 Feb 2020 19:41:31
Aye because Braga will have watched every Rangers game this season. 👍
And if they go on the games pre Dubai they will have the FEAR!

2.) 20 Feb 2020 20:25:13
Not think they’ll have researched our lineups and watched lots of games? I know a manager in the Scottish Championship and the amount of games of the opposition they watch is unreal, pretty sure at this level folk do their research!

Not surprised he’s losing the dressing room. One bad game and you’re dropped, unless you’re one of his pet players (Goldson, Kent, Aribo, Tav) then you can have as many as you want and never get bombed out. Then any time we lose because he is tactically inept he chucks the players in front of the bus and says “they didn’t want it enough” despite everyone knowing exactly how we will play and how to cause us problems.

Kirkcaldy what do they put in the water in Fife? Every other football club in the world if the team is honking the manager carries the can. But for some reason Stevie G the celebrity gets a pass and his players get the blame, despite every manager in Scotland knowing exactly what his “tactics” will be before every game.

Outside of Morelos, Barasic is the most valuable player in the squad. First choice for Croatia, just entering his peak at 27, can attack AND defend, about to play in the Euros, fantastic at deadballs. He's a £20m left back all day.

Kent has been a waste of £7m.

Blue toon, maybe we’ll have another poll if we struggle against Hearts? I’ll be proven right on this, it’s just a matter of time.

I have nothing against the manager personally he is just woefully out of his depth and it is painful to watch now.

Correct Coldo. Absolute last chance saloon for the manager. A loss to Hearts at the weekend and he has to do the decent thing and walk.

Blue blue sea saying I’ll never change my mind is nonsense. I said weeks ago he was going to lose us the league this seasons and I said I hope I’m wrong and will be delighted to come on here and admit it. Sadly I’m right.

What will it take for you to admit he’s not up to it is the question? Will Celtic winning this treble be enough? Or do you want to wait till next season when they have won 10 in a row as well as 5 trebles in a row? Or wait until they get to 55 before us?

I mean if we could get them I would take GVB or Chris Wilder in a heartbeat but think both would be a stretch. But someone with experience, not another rookie.

The ideal would be someone who has experience but also understands Rangers have to win basically every game domestically, so GVB ticks both boxes. You didn’t have Frank De Boer in your options. Probably wouldn’t be my choice but he’s another realistic option.

Goalkeeper is the least of our worries. McGregor has another season in him and McRorie is rated very highly.
