SSN saying Tav and Kent tested positive for C.V.

1.) 14 Oct 2020 06:35:00
Just had a look in sky sports news website and can’t see it. Also tried googling it and got no hits.

2.) 14 Oct 2020 07:25:35
Can't find anything on this anywhere
Checked ssn
The news stories
Rangers feed
4lads had a dream
Nothing about this.

3.) 14 Oct 2020 08:21:51
Fake account on Twitter reporting this - phew!

4.) 14 Oct 2020 08:36:39
“ BREAKING: @RangersFC players James Tavernier and Ryan Kent have both tested positive for having the battle fever on ahead of the old firm. ”

That’s what it says.

5.) 14 Oct 2020 09:14:47
Dk 19🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Classic example of seeing something on fb then jumping on here to quickly tell every1 lol. go read the the post as think it will say that they have the battle fever on

6.) 14 Oct 2020 12:48:22
DK19.SSN said they tested positive for Battle Fever!

7.) 14 Oct 2020 13:40:31
I hope our full team is suffering from battle fever and run them ragged at the weekend.

8.) 14 Oct 2020 15:21:25
Can't see anything on rangers or sky sites dk19, you definitely seen it on sky?

Both in the form they're in would be huge misses.

9.) 14 Oct 2020 17:25:28
The world according to DK🤦‍♂️😂👍.

10.) 14 Oct 2020 19:34:44
The website stated that "Tav and Kent" had the BATTLE FEVER for Saturday. C'mon the Gers.

11.) 14 Oct 2020 20:08:15
That’s what come with a few beers before bedtime!

12.) 15 Oct 2020 17:56:30

Reports suggesting £20m deal with Castore over 5 years.

Can't grumble too much if true taking into account likely recession and uncertainty over season end/ start.

Good quality kit at premium prices.

1.) 04 May 2020 12:02:15
Yep. The kit looks alright. Don't forget that Stuart Gibson was readying up 20 million investment before covid also. Hope that was a real deal and will still go ahead. Who knows.

2.) 04 May 2020 12:04:56
If so, it’s a good deal. The worry may be that the cost of kit too is too high for many particularly with what everyone is dealing with, but the pricing will need to be fairly
consistent with other clubs. Likely £50/ 55 for a top. Important that we are in charge of retail to maximise revenues. I have a lot of respect for the work James Bisgrove and his team are leading.

Hope everyone reading the forum and your families are keeping safe and well in the meantime.

3.) 04 May 2020 12:56:10
20 million over five years. If tue excellent deal.

4.) 04 May 2020 14:10:30
I'm actually pretty excited to be honest. Classy brand and sure the shirt will be a belter! Look forward to being able to wear it proudly 👍.

5.) 04 May 2020 16:05:00
Snell have u seen alleged kit on line, looks classy.

6.) 04 May 2020 16:06:47
Good deal if true. They would be daft to put the kit price too high, they need to start off with a good impression to the fans. £50/ 55 was 10 years ago prices, £65/70 is more realistic, anything over then it will just fail in my opinion.

7.) 04 May 2020 17:13:32
Oh dear, what's SGL going to say now? He had mentioned every kit imaginable and swore by them. LOL.

8.) 04 May 2020 17:51:13
He always does, stuck.

9.) 04 May 2020 18:12:04
I did see if John mate and liked the look of it. Unfortunately don't recall an accurate leak ever been made so will wait and see!

10.) 04 May 2020 20:05:40
4 lads have released a tweet about this. Something to do with information is inaccurate.

11.) 04 May 2020 20:24:03
Bellshill. I heard yesterday it's a 1 year see how it goes deal. We shall need to wait till the club announce it and no the sun newspaper.

12.) 04 May 2020 21:21:31
Small company that apparently does great sports clothing to a premium standard. Just hope they realise what the demand for these tops will be and if they can match it. Hummel make strips for many clubs yet couldn’t keep up.

13.) 05 May 2020 00:10:57
I kinda suspect they probably were given a hint of the scale of the job mate: just before they signed the multi million dollar deal.

14.) 05 May 2020 01:39:29
Has anybody considered the fact that the 20m may be guaranteed?

I would have hoped that Rangers have secured a deal with a high %age of the kit income considering the fact Castore are looking to break into football.

This could be very lucrative.

15.) 05 May 2020 07:32:24
High quality British based company who will be keen to work closely with club rather than being a small part of a huge global brand and receiving same income looks like a great deal for me.

Tops will be £60 adults and £40 kids I’d expect. I get that club has to raise as much as possible but If like us to change home too every year but rotate the away and 3rd kits don’t there’s 2 new tops out every year and not 3.

16.) 05 May 2020 16:04:01
Ibrox, never seen kit so can't comment. Think if they have any sense will manufacture at a price to suit. A top over 60 notes must have gold braids and totally unsuitable/ unsellable. But in saying that if string vest well buy it.

17.) 05 May 2020 16:38:49
No details have been released regarding the new kit therefore all reports are pure speculation. We have to wait until the SD deal expires before the club release anything. No figures have been disclosed to anyone and i had it in good faith that the new kit supplier would be macron, the Castore rumours are only due to their connection with a company that SG is involved with.

18.) 06 May 2020 13:04:06
DK report or rumour?
Court papers show hummell paid us £2.5m and £1m in kit, and that was a £10m deal.

22 Jan 2020 08:24:57
Reports say Spurs may make a move for Morelos!

Alf has reached his peak and found his level in the SPFL.

No way will he score even 10 goals in the EPL.

Wake up Jose, he is not in your league - leave him be at Ibrox and we'll make do.

1.) 22 Jan 2020 08:58:28
Well make do?

I don’t think he will have any trouble scoring down there and good level of balls been crossed on and played through at his feet he will score he got through a full season I’d say 20 goals a season at least I reckon

DK19 are you a rangers fan lol.

2.) 22 Jan 2020 09:37:26
Thestigno. I think dk talking tongue in cheek.

3.) 22 Jan 2020 10:40:22
which reports?
he wouldn't be trying to play through a 10 man defence every week in England, and some of the players down there would be laying them on a plate for him.
in saying that LOL! he didn't do too great with the one with his name all over it in the last OF game.

4.) 22 Jan 2020 11:12:47
I do wonder sometimes on here John!

5.) 22 Jan 2020 13:10:54
Dk - the same was said about Morelos going into Europe this year - 14 goals and a new record

Diss others but not your own.

6.) 22 Jan 2020 15:58:10
DK sorry,

really never read into the tongue in cheek in your post
😂😂 so apologies

Your right - Jose leave him where he is 😊.

7.) 22 Jan 2020 16:55:17

8.) 23 Jan 2020 15:39:53
We don't need to put a 40 million pound release clause in morelos, 's contract. He doesn't have a release clause which is better.

9.) 23 Jan 2020 20:51:22
Southend rangers, that doesn't make sense mate, without the releaese claus, any player could leave at any time, surely.

Had to go get my sunglasses when he is talking.

1.) 23 Jun 2021 03:13:51
Never seen it. Prob either had the. Whitend or got veneers.

2.) 23 Jun 2021 06:25:52

Thanks for that Paul, I thought he’d drank a tin of emulsion.

19 May 2021 08:29:27
So I guess we can all agree that everyone with an awareness on Scottish football could have predicted the huge crowds gathering on Saturday to celebrate your successful season.

In part, the violence by the minority could also have been predicted.

In an attempt to minimise and control the inevitable, our club requested a compromise that would have managed a significant part of the crowd by allowing them into Ibrox.

Yes, they would have had a minute risk of catching or passing on C.V. but no more so than marching to George square.

Yes, they would have been safe from violence and have no access to alcohol and could have been released slowly to allow police dispersement.

Yes there may have been others who were intent on fighting but in much smaller manageable numbers.

The powers that be decided that it was better to let things play out knowing that trouble was likely

1.) 19 May 2021 10:48:27
Because the Labour and SNP government want to use Rangers as a boogyman and would have no political gain from it should they have let the fans inside of Ibrox as the club requested plus letting fans in to celebrate would have been the common sense thing to do which we already know they aren’t great at.

Also the Scottish Media can write about the big bad Rangers fans instead of having to write about a team that when a full season invincible, only conceded 13 goals all season.

Hope this answers your question mate.

2.) 19 May 2021 10:59:00
Because during a C.V. the government was never and couldn't be seen to be making compromises for football fans. What you should be asking is why didn't fans celebrate at home instead of mass gatherings. The club, police, sfa, snp, etc are not to blame, the fans are. Its really quite simple. 👍.

3.) 19 May 2021 11:13:57
You can't expect the government to change its time frame on the relaxation of the guidelines just to suit individual requests. At the end of the day the only people to blame are all the bams who thought it was a good idea to gather and get pissed. Every video you watch there's bottles of buckfast or mad dog in the hands of many outside ibrox and George square. It's thanks to these folk what should have been one of our clubs greatest days turned out to be one of its worst.

4.) 19 May 2021 11:48:46
Funny how the SNP were encouraging people to go to PollockShields to help stop the deportation of alleged illegal immigrants. An area where the Indian variant is very high.

No outcry about them spreading CV.
Or criticism of the 2 marches in support of Palestine.
2 wrongs don't make a right.
But Rangers told fans to stay away. And offered a solution which was rejected by the SNP.

5.) 19 May 2021 11:58:43
Agree with coldo on this one.
Although they could all have went Raj, in the stadium, as the pitch was being lifted on Sunday.
They would still have spilled into Glasgow centre later though.
No win situation unfortunately.

6.) 19 May 2021 12:16:56
How can it be a solution when that solution is illegal🤦‍♂️👍.

7.) 19 May 2021 12:17:42
Dk that’s wing it’s not the governments fault they didn’t let us have 10k in as it’s still during C.V. they ain’t allowing 600 fans at the final this weekend it’s sounds like and I have seen it all over social media some rangers fans trying to make excuses for the idiots that behaved badly at the weekend.

If they allowed 10k in they would still have been thousands outside that never got in anyway.

Lastly only people to blame for trouble in George sq are the idiots that caused it no one else.

8.) 19 May 2021 12:18:11
MpH that wasn’t a viable solution tho.

9.) 19 May 2021 12:21:11
In other words SNP yes you can protest during a C.V. against the deportation of illegal immigrants.

But Rangers fans can’t gather to celebrate a league title. Different rules for that it’s not the same.

Is it okay to gather depending on what the SNP says is right and wrong?

10.) 19 May 2021 12:21:43
sadly like every other club in world football we have a percentage of fans that are just idiots and will do what they want when the want. This isn't just a football issue its a society issue.

11.) 19 May 2021 12:26:06
Spot on Mr potatoe head
Also spot on Coldo

Good post DK

Better question
Why didn’t police cut it off at the pass tomography alcohol and split them up right at the off they knew it was going to happen
They could have had preventive measures in pace and chose not too

And everyone else answers on government are true using the club and fans

Over 10 years people were Always going to celebrate
yes fans fault but all government and police fault for allowing it to happen

It also would have happens had Celtic won 10

It shows people are fed up with restrictions and these new variants
Wonder when we stop and wonder when they will stop using this to control folk
As it far too easy to use C.V. now as an excuse.

12.) 19 May 2021 13:18:19
The stig it’s not government or police fault the only people to blame are the fans misbehaving.

13.) 19 May 2021 13:46:03
Blaming the police and/ or the government is ridiculous. The fault lies with the idiots who knew the rules but decided that they were above the law to gather. Add to that those who think they are allowed to sing and say what they want, the video of the moronic female singing she'd rather be a p**i than a tim shows that some people within our own support are a waste of oxygen! I am beyond rage at some people trying to deflect the blame here! I am on record as saying that if we had been allowed to have people in the stadium for the presentation it may have alleviated some problems, to ask for this was a longshot at best. Once again, the arsehole element of our support who can't accept that they are holding us back have ruined what should have been a joyous occasion for the club. For me, anyone indulging in the so called cultural singing (what I have referred to as the brigade) should be banned from following us for life. If this offends anyone, I don't really give a rubbish.

14.) 19 May 2021 14:29:42
I'm with you DTB.
Big thinking needed on this one. it might be sore to begin with, but needs done.

15.) 19 May 2021 14:45:10
Why didn't the police cut it off,? They would have to have a blockade ste every street every train station, and stopped and searched everywhere, they're humans not robots mate

No matter what Rangers or the government would have allowed, nothing was stopping these people, nothing, they had they're Saturday planned for weeks and weeks, they knew exactly whether were going to be doing, they went with knifes, bottles, batons, they damaged windows and shop fronts as they went, they threatened anybody who was walking in a different direction from them, they grew on numbers as they reached they're fighting ground, and brought shame and disgrace to our club, ridicule beyond belief, then they disappeared i to the night, laughing at they're work, hospital staff inundated again ,
Rangers opening they're ground wouldn't have made an iota of difference they would likely have had a riot on the pitch,

Some on here immediately jumped to they're defence, then slowly altered thetre words when challenged by people who knew this was a certainty to happen, I wrote days before I could see them virtually writing the headlines now, these persons have no respect and zero love for Rangers, and the people who all themselves decent Rangers fans should not have been there its that simple
Warrior, try not to get excited about my niece, as you've once again got that totally wrong, stick to boring stats.

16.) 19 May 2021 15:22:24
Fans allowed in down in England.
Fans going to be allowed in to the Euros in 3 weeks in Scotland. I wonder if the SNP only agreed to this because Scotland had qualified. 🤔
Ideal opportunity to trial fans in the ground at Ibrox on Saturday.

And if it's such a risk or "illegal" then how come we can hug from Monday and the schools have been back since Easter, where outbreaks are common place and pupils are more crowded together indoors than 10,000 fans in a 50,000 seater stadium outdoor and are less of a risk?

17.) 19 May 2021 16:09:26
Depends what story you are telling regarding her involvement 🤷.

18.) 19 May 2021 16:19:37
Because that's the rules/ law, whether we agree or not or whether we think it makes sense or not is irrelevant. The Government Guidance was stay at home, the fans are to blame. 👍.

19.) 19 May 2021 17:47:40
The elephant in the room that many people forget is the it is the governments responsibility to make the decisions that keep us safe and protect us from ourselves.

They knew that a sizeable number of people would gather and probably drink too much leading to trouble no matter who told them not to.

The club understood what might happen and gave the government an option to mitigate the problem but it was rejected.

The government encouraged other gatherings.

C.V. is all but over in the sense that the number of deaths or serious sickness is virtually nil across Scotland so in my view Scot Gov should have taken a decision based on risk - what was likely to cause most harm, allow fans into Ibrox with minimal risk and deal with a small crowd outside intent on trouble or let the celebrations run out of control. We know how that ended.

Many people are going to turn to thuggery no matter what but it could have been managed if the police and government made the right decision.

We pay our taxes so that law and order prevails - this weekend that failed on many fronts for various reasons due to poor decision making by politicians.

Our club looks bad (because of a few thugs) but the government looks good despite losing control and actively encouraging civil disobedience.

Things are not good for unionists.

30 Apr 2021 09:20:41
Now that this season is virtually over and looking like we are unbeaten in the league, next season becomes the focus.

No doubt SG and his staff are well ahead in plans for new recruits and will know who they will sell and for how much if an offer comes in.

For me, the biggest issue that we will have is the one that SaG cannot influence.

This year there is no doubt that some of our key players have benefitted from empty stadiums.

Next season will we see the return of the boo boys as soon as two passes go astray or someone makes a mistake that costs us a goal?

Surely even the least savvy amongst us must realise that the sunshine supporters (who must share an opinion no matter the effect on players) cost us points.

Celtic will be reinvigorated next season with a new manager and a few players - we need everyone on side behind the manager and every player who is chosen to wear the shirt.

1.) 30 Apr 2021 09:37:29
Ranger swill be reinvigorated as well DK mate and well aware they will need to step up to the challenge.

As for maybe be unbeaten in the league (? ) the players are played like they are on holiday now on the cup game.

2.) 30 Apr 2021 10:51:05
totally agree DK19 and for sure some people are going to say well if they play for the Gers they should be able to take that from the fans or else they shouldn't be playing for us. for me support the players on the park and criticise after the game if its warranted. i'm tired of saying it, that every boo does the opposite of what is intended. it doesn't make a player say, oh i better play better, it causes the player to retract and not ask for the ball in fear of another boo from the crowd. Every team in this country know that all they need do is to make it difficult for us in the first 45 then our fans turn on our own players and effectively become the 12th man for the opposition.

3.) 30 Apr 2021 13:00:06
Supporters don't cost the team points. Fans have been putting pressure on players to perform at Ibrox since the beginning, its up to the players to cope with that pressure and if they can't then they move on. Supporters cost us points, that's priceless. 👍.

4.) 30 Apr 2021 13:20:54
Behind the scenes the focus may well have shifted to next season but from a player and coaching point of view the full focus is about beating them on Sunday, we aren't unbeaten league champions until the table says it's so.

5.) 30 Apr 2021 13:24:03
Totally agree coldo.

6.) 30 Apr 2021 14:09:13

Think your reading too much into this. Boo boys as you call them have paid up so can do what they like. SG should have instilled in players to totally ignore this and their professionalism should do same. Your final point TBH is a non starter.

7.) 30 Apr 2021 14:27:17
Supporters cost us points? What? Are you serious? Oh dear!
For goodness sake, get a grip man. By you're reckoning, your insinuating that some players are not strong enough to take criticism or some booing, and as soon as crowds are back, and they get booed, they'll buckle and cost us a result? Get a grip! You obviously don't think much of our players. If they lack the ability to ignore the boos, or the criticism, then they should be nowhere near a team like Rangers.
I've been going to Ibrox for over 30 years now, and as far back as I remember, fans have always been hard on players. Are today's players so delicate and precious they can't handle it? Behave!

8.) 30 Apr 2021 14:30:01

You've got my dander up what reinvigoration? They've no foreseeable new manager, and TBH don't think any high profile party wants it as I think there would be news of negotiations. Also what wonder players you seem worried about? They've signed nobody and there doesn't seem a race to piggery.

9.) 30 Apr 2021 14:59:42
Your easy upset Mbw mate.

Of course they will have to get their mojo back next season and we have to be prepared for a better challenge from them.

They also know the league is over and we are champions but they will want to try and humiliate us on a last gasp exit on Sunday.

Expect them to come at us with all guns blazing at our reduced squad.

No predictions on the score from me as Iv'e seen too many red faces from predictions.

10.) 30 Apr 2021 16:08:33
This close season will be the most important close season to date and we need to see four quality new players in line with Gerrard's strategy of continuous improvement of the squad. For me we need to bring in two quality midfield players, we can't continue to depend on Davis and Arfield ton play every week especially nit we want a run in Europe. Whoever comes in needs to be a significant upgrade on Zunga! I would also like to see us sign two quality forwards, I don't see us retaining Defoe and I just don't rate Itten. If we lose Kent Morelos or Helander then we will need to replace them with players of at least the same quality. With Katic injured and just getting his fitness back I wouldn't be adverse to seeing another centre back on our books, perhaps an older player with experience and leadership qualities.

11.) 30 Apr 2021 18:14:39
I’m almost in tears here, I said on first month that Rangers had more than most players who were playing far better than they ever did with full stadia, especially ibrox, I had a queue bigger than Costco’s to tell me I knew nothing, absolutely slaughtered I was, including by the very guy who has just said this, I understand it wouldn’t have mattered what I said about anything, just my name does it for some, but this is incred

Just show you how some forgot what they say before,

I posted the reasons for the improvements but that thdidnt matter, to me having seen grown men fold in front of a big crowd I could see the massive difference in empty grounds, , bu hey ho.

12.) 30 Apr 2021 18:52:57
Fans cost us points What a load of BS of players can’t cope playing with our fans then they shouldn’t be at our club it’s that simple.

13.) 30 Apr 2021 19:53:23
Once again you require assistance kJ, you just can’t read can you

Explain where you seen “ fans cost us points “

Just te Everyone where you saw these words please?

It’s a absolutely non negotiable FACT that many many players play far better in front of fewer crowds, if you ever played you might have been aware of that simple thing

Maybe you believe they’re all the same, robots maybe

You ever heard of a guy called Webster, couldn’t play for Rangers, couldn’t handle it, not alone by a long long way son

That’s not BS, kindly show some respect with your ignorance and language,

You know very little mate.

14.) 30 Apr 2021 20:22:28
Kindly show some respect Tom? Once again while belittling someone's opinion, and being totally disrespectful by telling someone they know very little, 🤷‍♂️🙈 maybe you should take your own advice about respect eh, just a thought 👍.

15.) 30 Apr 2021 20:25:03
Said the same Tom, will be interesting to see the reaction once crowds are back. 👍.

16.) 30 Apr 2021 20:34:24
DK said it Tom👍.

21 Mar 2021 22:46:02
Let's say we don't need to sell any of our first teams squad this summer.

Who is the weakest link that should be first to be upgraded to improve on our performances this season?

Last season it was Halliday and Flanagan - no financial pressure.

1.) 22 Mar 2021 07:13:33
He's had a good season but is struggling to return to any kind of form after his recent injury.
So an attacking midfielder who can also pass the ball ( one of Arfields limitations ) and score goals would be my choice.
This would also allow Aribo to move in to the front 3 where he is more effective.

2.) 22 Mar 2021 08:00:48
defoe jones edmunston barker stewart and any other players getting free money . free some up get new blood in hopefully stevie g puts a marker down with a big key signings we ain't going away were here for 56 next season.

3.) 22 Mar 2021 08:14:01
The criticism of Arfield is not called for! A player who gives his all and has had a terrific season for the club he loves. Our Manager is the first to tell you how important Scott is on an off the field and is a model professional🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.

4.) 22 Mar 2021 09:06:18
Aribo should not be near the starting 11 unless we have injuries. He can't play in the midfield and is really not much better out wide either. McGregor tav goldson barasic davis Kamara Kent fredo (when he's on it) . That's our spine. Add quality to that and then we improve. I'd give wright a chance out wide from now until the end of the season, proved yesterday he's a far better option than hagi and aribo on the right, least he can run at a man and take him on, just like kent. 👍.

5.) 22 Mar 2021 09:06:42
Kemar roofe injury prone and miles off the quality wee want polis his assault on Sparta keeper get rid pronto useless.

6.) 22 Mar 2021 09:38:29
Aribo great young midfielder we have IMO he is young arfield is getting on a bit but has been good prior to injury but you are right mph his passing is poor. Would still keep him but won’t play as much next season.
Don’t agree aribo should be in front 3 better in the midfield 3 for me.

SG obviously sees something in aribo that others on here can’t don’t understand why but fans love a whipping boy for no reason.

7.) 22 Mar 2021 09:49:53
It's a hypothetical question Yately as to where we should improve the team, not a question of criticism.
Arfield has been a revelation at the role he plays exploiting the space created by Morelos.
But let's not kid ourselves Arfield doesn't have limitations.
Every player in our team does. 👍.

I'm with coldo on aribo, for me I just don't see the hype, far too many games just pass him by.

Coldo and when jacms fit kamara drops out for him. Good 3 to have in there tho.

10.) 22 Mar 2021 16:46:42
I agree kja9. The manager seems to see something in aribo (he's played the majority of games this season)
But what does our manager know? 🤔.

You spent a year every day going on about Kent

Now you’re asking why fans need a “ whipping boy “”

God almighty, how sm affects some is frightening.

12.) 22 Mar 2021 17:29:04
What on earth are you going on about Tom? 🤔.

13.) 23 Mar 2021 20:22:03
Only a few weeks ago aribo was being classed ( by the majority on here and Stevie g) as being unplayable. REMEMBER? Dosnt take a lot for some to forget . coldo.

If he’s out of contract in a few weeks he won’t cost anything other than wages and a signing on fee.

Max 3 to leave unless we get a huge offer that we can't refuse.

Guess only time will tell but my feeling is that Kent, Kamara and Barasic may be going with Goldson undecided but will go to an EPL team if he gets the opportunity.

Goldson for me will be the most difficult to replace due to his consistency.

Not sure Hellander will be with us next season.

We'd be crazy to accept less than £20m unless of course SG has a crystal ball that shows Sakala scoring 30 goals and creating space for 20 more next season.

What does your receipt say SGL? No need to count if you have a receipt for the purchases - just read what it says.

Coldo will be proved right.

He has an opinion and he will repeat it until we are all sick of it but one day our manager will pick Paterson over Tav and keep him there and Coldo will say he told us.

Just like saying it’s 10 past 10 every time someone asks the time - twice a day you have a chance of being correct but everyone knows someone who doesn’t know how to tell the time.

Have to say I’m surprised at his choice as I think he is better than Kelty. That said, SG managed a youth team before us so maybe it’s the experience of managing and coaching people that counts no matter the level if you want to gain experience without the pressure and risk of winning 100%.
