Just heard a rumour from a trusted source.

Rangers are going to win the league this season by 20+ points.

1.) 25 Jul 2021 20:09:11
You forgot to say FACT😉.

2.) 25 Jul 2021 20:12:27
🤣Game at a time DK.

3.) 25 Jul 2021 20:14:16
Not a rumour! Fact!

4.) 25 Jul 2021 20:34:11
Not a rumour it's fact.

5.) 25 Jul 2021 20:37:29
DK19, Cannot be true I’ve not seen a club statement on the matter.

6.) 26 Jul 2021 07:57:33
Class, Bankie😂😂👏👏👏.

7.) 26 Jul 2021 11:07:02
😆 👏🏻.

10 Jul 2021 20:42:40
Interesting views on Morelos from Bruno Alves.

Thinks £20m is a fair or even low valuation and that he would settle easily at Porto.

Obviously a bit of bias due to playing together but a respected football opinion none the less.

1.) 10 Jul 2021 22:14:42
DK19, if we get £15 million for the Buff I would be delighted! Good post and at least you won’t have a wee Jack Russell biteing your ankles and no more 2 up front chat🇬🇧.

2.) 10 Jul 2021 22:18:50
Yately welcome back. Not seen u on for ages. I probably upset a few but u r one off the best posters on here.

3.) 10 Jul 2021 22:28:51
I do think 15 million would be a good deal, with sell on.

4.) 10 Jul 2021 22:34:16
I agree yately 15 would be good but more the better.

5.) 10 Jul 2021 23:19:23
Yeah John it’s good to be back and hope all is well! A lot of good guys on here and most important we are all a Bluenoses which is a privilege! We all have different opinions which I like so hopefully we go for 56 ✌️🇬🇧.

6.) 11 Jul 2021 00:05:18
Yep, welcome back yately pal good to have you back.

7.) 11 Jul 2021 00:12:36
Ideally want to keep him and sell another player. Wee man brings so much more than just goals to our side.

8.) 11 Jul 2021 07:24:52
Welcome back yately01👍, is been a wee while my old friend and John25 is spot on, as you're one of the best posters on here pal and like a good few of us now, veterans to this terrific site 👌🇬🇧.

9.) 11 Jul 2021 07:24:53
Not selling Morelos for 15 million shows as a club we have learned nothing. He’s got 2 years on his contract.
Ajer going for between 13/ 15 mil one year left and is a centre half, talking about our all time top European goalscorer here! Wake up and smell the cofffee. 22/ 25 is a fair price with a 10% sell on fee.

10.) 11 Jul 2021 07:58:59
Frazyul, imo we won't get £25million for morelos mate, especially the way the market is now because of this terrible C.V. 😞I don't want morelos to go, as i'm a big fan of his, but realistically £15million + add ons and a 15% sell on fee would be a good deal for us 👍🇬🇧.

11.) 11 Jul 2021 08:03:53
Personally I would do everything to keep Big Buff, I think his goals will be hard to replace. if the books need balanced I would rather see Kamara move on.

12.) 11 Jul 2021 08:34:01
SGL It would be 20% sell on fee.

13.) 11 Jul 2021 09:33:16
Personally I want to keep him until after the Champions League qualifiers since I don't believe that we have anyone to replace him for those games. Roofe is suspended, it is a lot to ask of Defoe and Itten is right down there with guys like Sebo. While if Morelos does go we need to replace him it would be a difficult ask for any incoming striker to fit in and score the goals needed that quickly. When he does go we should be asking for £15m + a 20% sell on clause. The alternative is that Morelos asks for a transfer this negating the %age that we would need to pay him of any fee and the buying club agrees to pay Helsinki their 10% sell on fee. While we might need to sell players I would much rather see the Club get rid of those that will never be good enough, like Barker, Jones, Itten, Middleton and Edmundson.

14.) 11 Jul 2021 09:43:19
I'm sorry boys but I have to say it, why would ANY Rangers fan be "delighted" if we got rid of Morelos, I just don't get it. If we get 50 million it makes no difference to my life, if he scores the winner against them or the sheep or ANYONE for that matter then my mood is decided for the whole week or until the next game. Surely we all want the best players playing for Rangers so why do some tout them all for all kinds of money and be delighted if they go?

15.) 11 Jul 2021 10:01:45
I've said it all long and my opinion of course If Porto come in straight up with 15m plus 20% move on fee Morelos will be away

We will find it hard to replace him Such as life though.

16.) 11 Jul 2021 11:45:57
And I’m saying if we keep selling our players on the cheap it’s weak!
The way the market is etc lol
15 mil is not good business!
If he goes for less than 20 it’s terrible from rangers simple as that.
I’d keep him for champions league.

17.) 11 Jul 2021 12:14:51
If no one is prepared to pay the money you are touting Fraz he can’t be sold for that . Simple as that . The board got huge flak for the billy g Sinareo but as it turns out we got a great deal for a boy who was going no matter what . To be honesty I think billy had a lot to do with us getting such lucrative add ons . Cheers billy.

18.) 11 Jul 2021 12:19:28
It is good business Frazyul, if we did sell morelos for a minimum of £15million + add ons and at least a 15% sell on clause 🤔We then have to give helsinki a 10% cut in any transfer fee for alfredo and we bought him for a mere £1million👌
Why would that not be good business mate 🤔🤔.

19.) 11 Jul 2021 12:55:04
Agree anything less than £20million would be a steal.

20.) 11 Jul 2021 13:22:39
Assuming new lad Fashion available for Euro qualifiers.

21.) 11 Jul 2021 15:01:51
SGL, no matter the fee it’s only good business if we can retain the league without him.

Take him out of the European matches last season and we would struggle.

As a fan, even £20m would be a poor deal if our results this season do not at least match last season.

22.) 11 Jul 2021 15:18:31
Money talks DK19 and remember i'm a big fan of alfredo and always have been and i don't want him to go 🙏
He will of course be mightly difficult to replace but i'm being realistic regarding a possible transfer fee for him, that will be acceptable for our club 🤔.

23.) 11 Jul 2021 15:23:49
The real concern for me is who replaces Morelos in the playoffs for the Champions league Groups stages if we sell him. Roofe is suspended and Itten is no where near the quality that we need, so we would have the option of Sakala, (who has still to settle in), or Defoe. In midfield, if we lose Kamara it won't affect us too much in Europe in the early stages since he is suspended but losing Morelos for me, for the reasons stated, would be a disaster.

24.) 11 Jul 2021 15:50:15
Hi Coop, John, HWG and glad to be back and I had just felt the site was becoming not the place it used to be, but always kept a little watch on it with yourself, John and other posters giving out good information etc. It’s all about opinions and a must admit I am missing Ibrox and the guys I sit around with getting a bit of banter and Gers talk! We have all been on the site and watched the club in serious bother, so 55 was an amazing, emotional time but you still had guys on here moaning about Alfredo not producing or the Boss not playing 2 up front? Upwards and onwards ✌️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.

25.) 11 Jul 2021 16:48:46
Good post yately, 56 is now most important title, do it and straight into the group stages.

26.) 11 Jul 2021 19:00:06
Because it’s not good business.
If Celtic get more for Ajer than what we get for Morelos we’ve made an arse of it!
We keep selling players on the cheap it can’t go on, we are talking about our all time European top scorer!
Doesn’t matter what we paid either!
The price for a player of that calibre is 20/ 25mill
End of.

27.) 11 Jul 2021 19:23:56
People need to stop comparing what other clubs get for other players and using that to calculate their valuation of the player.
Player is worth what a club is prepared to pay and how many clubs are interested.
Length of contract, performances in continental competition and International level, basic wage, league you play in Country you play for disciplinary record, injury record, age, assist:goals/ clean sheets, if club need to sell, if player wants to leave and many other factors dictate players value.
I’m delighted if he stays and agree with poster who states 56 this season is more important with passage to group stage next season and the financial implications that come with it.
If he leaves I think £15m with sell on is fair price.

28.) 11 Jul 2021 19:50:32
Good post Frazyul.

29.) 11 Jul 2021 19:54:19
If we only paid one million let him see out his contract untill we recieve an acceptable offer. Morelos has already paid us back in goals for his transfer fee. He is almost irreplaceable on our budget don't understand why others can't see this 👌💙.

30.) 11 Jul 2021 20:41:26
Frazyul say we don’t sell him and he becomes unsettled because he wants a move then we’re left with a player sulking at the club and not producing when it matters. We all know he wants a move to a more competitive league so why keep a player who’s heart isn’t in it anymore. I do agree that we should be looking for more from our star men but we can only take what clubs are willing to offer and it doesn’t look like anyone is willing to offer the 20+ million that you (and myself) think he is worth.

31.) 11 Jul 2021 21:34:23
This post looks baron without Caldo's monotone ramblings 👍👍👍.

32.) 12 Jul 2021 00:31:42
If we sell for less than 20 we’re crazy he’s dragged us through Europe on his own at times, if he can help us get us to the group stage. A we earn the fee in prizes we would have received and B he’ll be worth a lot more cash, IMO Rangers only take over 20, btw if we do sell him like the other nights friendly showed stubborn defences without a. 9 like Alf are harder to break down on or Off form! 🐃 💙 Kept an eye on the site notice it’s seems a lot mellower the last few days 🤔 😃.

33.) 12 Jul 2021 18:43:59
The value to Rangers is way higher than 15M. if Morelos left and we didn't make CL that's 30M down the drain. i'm not saying if he stayed we would definately get into the group stages but i am sure you all agree we would have a far better chance. If we don't win the league due not having a goal scorer then again how much do we lose out on another 30M, so in one season Alf could help us claw in 60M - try not to balance that against your 15M valuation and tell me that 15M is a great deal.

we don't have nor will have another striker like Alf unless we pay out more than 15M for sure.

Its like saying oh i am a delivery driver but need money and the easiest and quickest way is sell my van. who really would sell the asset that has the best change of bringing in the most revenue.

oh and who said he wants away, you are all guilty of the Porto click bait. I am not saying it will or won't happen but I for one don't believe any deal under 20M is a good deal and if its the only one on the table, then we hold him to next year. i am sure if he plays well in europe we would get 15M with only a year left on his contract.

SSN saying Tav and Kent tested positive for C.V.

1.) 14 Oct 2020 06:35:00
Just had a look in sky sports news website and can’t see it. Also tried googling it and got no hits.

2.) 14 Oct 2020 07:25:35
Can't find anything on this anywhere
Checked ssn
The news stories
Rangers feed
4lads had a dream
Nothing about this.

3.) 14 Oct 2020 08:21:51
Fake account on Twitter reporting this - phew!

4.) 14 Oct 2020 08:36:39
“ BREAKING: @RangersFC players James Tavernier and Ryan Kent have both tested positive for having the battle fever on ahead of the old firm. ”

That’s what it says.

5.) 14 Oct 2020 09:14:47
Dk 19🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Classic example of seeing something on fb then jumping on here to quickly tell every1 lol. go read the the post as think it will say that they have the battle fever on

6.) 14 Oct 2020 12:48:22
DK19.SSN said they tested positive for Battle Fever!

7.) 14 Oct 2020 13:40:31
I hope our full team is suffering from battle fever and run them ragged at the weekend.

8.) 14 Oct 2020 15:21:25
Can't see anything on rangers or sky sites dk19, you definitely seen it on sky?

Both in the form they're in would be huge misses.

9.) 14 Oct 2020 17:25:28
The world according to DK🤦‍♂️😂👍.

10.) 14 Oct 2020 19:34:44

04 May 2020 11:18:28
Reports suggesting £20m deal with Castore over 5 years.

Can't grumble too much if true taking into account likely recession and uncertainty over season end/ start.

Good quality kit at premium prices.

1.) 04 May 2020 12:02:15
Yep. The kit looks alright. Don't forget that Stuart Gibson was readying up 20 million investment before covid also. Hope that was a real deal and will still go ahead. Who knows.

2.) 04 May 2020 12:04:56
If so, it’s a good deal. The worry may be that the cost of kit too is too high for many particularly with what everyone is dealing with, but the pricing will need to be fairly
consistent with other clubs. Likely £50/ 55 for a top. Important that we are in charge of retail to maximise revenues. I have a lot of respect for the work James Bisgrove and his team are leading.

Hope everyone reading the forum and your families are keeping safe and well in the meantime.

3.) 04 May 2020 12:56:10
20 million over five years. If tue excellent deal.

4.) 04 May 2020 14:10:30
I'm actually pretty excited to be honest. Classy brand and sure the shirt will be a belter! Look forward to being able to wear it proudly 👍.

5.) 04 May 2020 16:05:00
Snell have u seen alleged kit on line, looks classy.

6.) 04 May 2020 16:06:47
Good deal if true. They would be daft to put the kit price too high, they need to start off with a good impression to the fans. £50/ 55 was 10 years ago prices, £65/70 is more realistic, anything over then it will just fail in my opinion.

7.) 04 May 2020 17:13:32
Oh dear, what's SGL going to say now? He had mentioned every kit imaginable and swore by them. LOL.

8.) 04 May 2020 17:51:13
He always does, stuck.

9.) 04 May 2020 18:12:04
I did see if John mate and liked the look of it. Unfortunately don't recall an accurate leak ever been made so will wait and see!

10.) 04 May 2020 20:05:40
4 lads have released a tweet about this. Something to do with information is inaccurate.

11.) 04 May 2020 20:24:03
Bellshill. I heard yesterday it's a 1 year see how it goes deal. We shall need to wait till the club announce it and no the sun newspaper.

12.) 04 May 2020 21:21:31
Small company that apparently does great sports clothing to a premium standard. Just hope they realise what the demand for these tops will be and if they can match it. Hummel make strips for many clubs yet couldn’t keep up.

13.) 05 May 2020 00:10:57
I kinda suspect they probably were given a hint of the scale of the job mate: just before they signed the multi million dollar deal.

14.) 05 May 2020 01:39:29
Has anybody considered the fact that the 20m may be guaranteed?

I would have hoped that Rangers have secured a deal with a high %age of the kit income considering the fact Castore are looking to break into football.

This could be very lucrative.

15.) 05 May 2020 07:32:24
High quality British based company who will be keen to work closely with club rather than being a small part of a huge global brand and receiving same income looks like a great deal for me.

Tops will be £60 adults and £40 kids I’d expect. I get that club has to raise as much as possible but If like us to change home too every year but rotate the away and 3rd kits don’t there’s 2 new tops out every year and not 3.

16.) 05 May 2020 16:04:01
Ibrox, never seen kit so can't comment. Think if they have any sense will manufacture at a price to suit. A top over 60 notes must have gold braids and totally unsuitable/ unsellable. But in saying that if string vest well buy it.

17.) 05 May 2020 16:38:49
No details have been released regarding the new kit therefore all reports are pure speculation. We have to wait until the SD deal expires before the club release anything. No figures have been disclosed to anyone and i had it in good faith that the new kit supplier would be macron, the Castore rumours are only due to their connection with a company that SG is involved with.

18.) 06 May 2020 13:04:06
DK report or rumour?
Court papers show hummell paid us £2.5m and £1m in kit, and that was a £10m deal.

22 Jan 2020 08:24:57
Reports say Spurs may make a move for Morelos!

Alf has reached his peak and found his level in the SPFL.

No way will he score even 10 goals in the EPL.

Wake up Jose, he is not in your league - leave him be at Ibrox and we'll make do.

1.) 22 Jan 2020 08:58:28
Well make do?

I don’t think he will have any trouble scoring down there and good level of balls been crossed on and played through at his feet he will score he got through a full season I’d say 20 goals a season at least I reckon

DK19 are you a rangers fan lol.

2.) 22 Jan 2020 09:37:26
Thestigno. I think dk talking tongue in cheek.

3.) 22 Jan 2020 10:40:22
which reports?
he wouldn't be trying to play through a 10 man defence every week in England, and some of the players down there would be laying them on a plate for him.
in saying that LOL! he didn't do too great with the one with his name all over it in the last OF game.

4.) 22 Jan 2020 11:12:47
I do wonder sometimes on here John!

5.) 22 Jan 2020 13:10:54
Dk - the same was said about Morelos going into Europe this year - 14 goals and a new record

Diss others but not your own.

6.) 22 Jan 2020 15:58:10
DK sorry,

really never read into the tongue in cheek in your post
😂😂 so apologies

Your right - Jose leave him where he is 😊.

7.) 22 Jan 2020 16:55:17

8.) 23 Jan 2020 15:39:53
We don't need to put a 40 million pound release clause in morelos, 's contract. He doesn't have a release clause which is better.

9.) 23 Jan 2020 20:51:22
Southend rangers, that doesn't make sense mate, without the releaese claus, any player could leave at any time, surely.

Interesting comments from Paul Ince about the "Ibrox Boo Boys" where he slates them for booing the team before the final whistle.

Ed, is another Poll relevant?

Q Is it beneficial to the players when the fans boo a performance

Y or N?

{Ed033's Note -

Boo boys poll

1.) 12 Apr 2024 13:41:29
Paul Ince?! ????
Clutching at straws there, DK! ????.

2.) 12 apr 2024 13:51:18
i won't be voting on that but i will say you will never in a million years stop football fans being football fans

many will sometimes feel they've been watching some players not putting it all in, rangers fans will always let you know when your not giving what they, and the club give you, like the highest wages in the country, fans want 100% effort, that's all they ask for.

3.) 12 Apr 2024 14:21:27
Paul Ince to justify you blindly follow following Beale?.

4.) 12 Apr 2024 14:29:33
Booing at half time and full time is justified, booing during the game is not imo.

5.) 12 Apr 2024 14:30:38
Am not a boo boy, but us guys that put our hard earned cash into our club season after season are very entitled to let it be known that we aren't happy with what we are seeing. Of course it's not beneficial, how could it be.

6.) 12 Apr 2024 15:01:38
Of course it is not beneficial, daft question really. Whether it is justified, or not, is another matter.

7.) 12 apr 2024 15:05:56
of course blue, never actually booed myself, but have certainly shouted my displeasure at more than a few in my many seasons, especially when i watched guys like sebo and o'hallaron abusing our strip, i have no concerns about showing displeasure, think the op has an incurable desperation to be a perfect happy clapping poster boy, nah, if they don't put it all in they will, and should hear all about it,

8.) 12 Apr 2024 15:09:40
DK19 you would still have Michael Beale in charge enough said.

9.) 12 Apr 2024 15:12:26
Just a question since Ince brought it up in his interview - if you think that booing has a benefit to any player and therefore will increase the chances of a win, vote as Yes. If not, vote no.

Tom, as usual, I disagree with you and if you don't want to vote, don't.

10.) 12 Apr 2024 15:15:26
Paul Ince! This is a guy that used to say to fellow team mates don’t call me Paul call me the Guvnor, say no more.

11.) 12 Apr 2024 15:29:47
Stupid question!

12.) 12 Apr 2024 15:48:54
The booing can't have been that bad (unless you're DK), because it was a totally different team who came out for the 2nd half and played 100 times better. How do you explain that, DK?

13.) 12 apr 2024 16:08:53
dont recall anyone ever said it was “ beneficial “ ever, that's not why they show dospleasure, not for benefit, but to make sure they hear how unhappy they are with the perfo4mance, nothing to do with benifitting anyone.

14.) 12 Apr 2024 16:12:15
He’s a good mate of Alex and been to Ibrox to cheer us on.

15.) 12 Apr 2024 16:44:26
True blue you just took the words out my mouth

Said to Sir Alex - just call me the guvnor,

Sir Alex - just get yourself tae fxxx ??.

16.) 12 apr 2024 16:48:01
in fact i think i would really struggle to think of anyone in my lifetime who never showed they're displeasure, how on earth would you ever think that's not part n parcel of football, even players acknowledge the fans feelings resonate and they react accordingly, hopefully, if we didn't let players know our feelings it would be a totally different, and strange place.

17.) 12 Apr 2024 16:54:22
DK is part of the perennially offended on here, who are forever aghast at posters who do not toe the party line.

18.) 12 Apr 2024 17:10:10
People aren't understanding the question. It's about booing during the game not half time or full time.

19.) 12 Apr 2024 17:24:43

20.) 12 Apr 2024 18:01:42
Fans who pay good money are entitled to show their displeasure. it's the fans who keep clubs afloat. football without fans is nothing.

21.) 12 Apr 2024 18:43:56
Good posts roofe and TT.

Silly question IMO won’t vote.

DK just you keep happy clapping ? if Beale was still in charge like you wanted how close to Celtic would we be now?

22.) 12 Apr 2024 21:26:17
I would like to think it is beneficial - let's them know the fans aren't happy with their performance and gives them something to think about.

23.) 12 Apr 2024 21:28:35
Verdant abyss loved beale/ was beale.

24.) 12 apr 2024 22:20:31
well said storm.

25.) 12 Apr 2024 22:29:21
I am thinking that is true

26.) 13 Apr 2024 08:09:02
I would also say that getting their arses boo'd off should be an inspiration to do better for themselves and us in the 2nd half, you don't applaud failure or bad play, if they could and should have done better.

27.) 13 Apr 2024 18:32:59
Paul, I thought Verdant was a Celtic supporter.

07 Mar 2024 22:09:47
I know that my opinion is not always welcome ? so some will or should scroll on but I thought every player played his part in an excellent performance against a technically superb team.

We scored 2 excellent goals, lost a debatable penalty (not sure why Lundy didn't get a free kick earlier in the play following big headbutt) .

Goldson was very solid all night and was unlucky with the goal.

Tav? Who says he can't defend?

I'm with PC ~ winners set out to be positive and love to win against the doubters.

1.) 07 Mar 2024 22:54:24
DK, I 100% agree with your post, we have a hellish injury list, and that was a magnificent result, I think we'll win the 2nd Leg.

2.) 07 Mar 2024 22:58:00
DK19, your thoughts, your opinions, Goldson a bombscare, Tav, lost, slow poor, a few others off the boil, just my thoughts bud, admire your positivity in line with PC. We'd have took 2-2 b4 we left Glasgow.

3.) 07 Mar 2024 23:24:54
Totally agree with you there dk19,
Fork, can't see where you're coming from, i thought Tav was great.

4.) 07 Mar 2024 23:30:17
Totally agree DK.

Tav gave the ball away at times but I don't think I have ever seen him defend the back post as well as he done tonight.

See on the forum Goldson and Soutter getting it tight but I have no idea why.

Thought they defended excellently all night, lost count of number of times they both threw themselves in front of a Benfica player in the box.

Fantastic team performance tonight and zero negatives from me.

5.) 08 Mar 2024 05:02:29
Fork, no offence here intended pal but i honestly don't know what you were watching ?Of course you're entitled to your opinion but much different from the majority on here my friend ?.

6.) 08 Mar 2024 06:05:47
Sws blue n tinted bud, no offence, and I beg to differ, seen a good few echoing my thoughts, as stated in various comments last night, today. Great result against a better team on their patch, but, for me Goldson/ Tav poor, others off boil, yes we were injury affected, but its how I see it, again no offence SWS.

7.) 08 Mar 2024 08:00:03
Guess another example of two different types of Rangers fan:

Fan 1
Loves to celebrate a great result and performance and feel proud of the team. Gets a bit depressed after a poor result and performance but continues to support the players no matter.

Fan 2
Can’t celebrate a great result and performance without slagging off a few players at the same time. Becomes enraged and unhinged after a poor result and performance and must slaughter our players using terms like empty jersey.

Is anyone saying that one is better than the other? Not me. ?

I’m sure that Fan type 1 will rest easy at the end of the season with 1 or 2 trophies secure in the knowledge that they were 100% behind every player who contributed to such a great (turnaround) season ~ no guilty consciences!

Just an opinion btw.

8.) 08 Mar 2024 08:37:09
Guys really have a look at Tav, he's not at his best, yes a few great blocks, tackles, but by his own high standards he'll be disappointed in his performance, not totally great for me guys, sorry just how I seen it?.

03 Mar 2024 17:51:55
Can someone explain to me the fascination with rubbishing our defence?

This season we have conceded the least amount of goals in the league

22/ 23 we conceded 3 more that the league winners

21/ 23 we conceded 9 more

20/ 23 we concede 13 less

Combined 3.5 years we have conceded 7 goals less that Celtic ~ seems to me that the defence are not the reason we have only won the league once in the last 3 years.

1.) 03 Mar 2024 18:37:03
Some people are always waiting to criticise Goldson and Tav. For me the defence didn’t help us yesterday and most players across the whole pitch had a bad day. Goldson had one of his worst performances in a rangers jersey and Souttar made a criminal error for the first goal. It happens and we’re no worse off for it. Technically we’re in a better place than when we started the weekend so that’s good.

2.) 03 Mar 2024 18:39:59
The defence had been good this year but Goldson has been poor for several weeks now.

Genuinely I think if Balogun is fit it’s time to try a pairing of Souttar and Balogun. Taking Goldson out the team until he regains his form.

3.) 03 Mar 2024 18:44:05
If you are happy with defence that’s fine some fans want better.

4.) 03 Mar 2024 18:51:33
For the past few seasons you will see my own grips is we have not invested in a prolific striker
we keep buying guys that are untested in the Scottish league whilst we have had a few who have shown for the smaller clubs they can do it in our league

I’m not talking Europe I’m talking the SPFl
Look at the combined prices of the striker we have brought in since the Gerrard days anyone got a calculator?
some don’t think shankland would be worth the price tag hearts would maybe have put in him but his goals are there to see he for me has proven he scores goals in our league his goals topped with tav and a few others In the team we could be winning more games and by more possibly more goals

3- 4 million on lammers - didn’t work out in our league maybe good in Holland but not for us
3-4 million Dessers misses a lot of chances inbetween scoring a few
Shankland out scoring these guys and out scoring Alfredo who most loved
Why not pay 3-4 million on someone we see week in week out scoring
The. Paying 3-4 million on someone who might score goals in our league or in lammers and a few other cases have not?

5.) 03 Mar 2024 19:04:11
The criticism of our team on here is appalling, I think. Much of it anger and frustration when we lose. Some should wait 24 hours before posting.

But if they did I wouldn’t be able to moan about them, so keep it up.

6.) 03 Mar 2024 19:06:49
So you were happy with the CH’s performance against Motherwell?
Or the fact that IMHO, Tav looked lethargic against Motherwell? And wasn’t doing the basics good enough?
Or that Butland when he looks at the second goal will possibly think he could do better?
No matter the amount of goals conceded so far, the team should always strive to do better.
For me that’s not rubbishing the defence, that’s constructive criticism when it’s due.

7.) 03 Mar 2024 19:09:14
We need a couple of cb's dk, i believe Clement will get them in the summer.

8.) 03 Mar 2024 19:26:48
Stats and facts don't matter.

It appears it's easier to turn on our players than to accept they'll make mistakes and support them.

9.) 03 Mar 2024 19:33:52
Dk only one of those seasons we have conceded less, so a don't get your point mate?

10.) 03 Mar 2024 19:43:48
Up until yesterday i had no real issues with the back line. Yesterday. Goldson got run all over from bair, souttar was terrible aswel. Butland could have don't better aswel i think. But don't think any body got pass marks the whole 11 seems so disjointed from 1st min.

11.) 03 Mar 2024 20:16:12
How do you regain form if you're not playing?

12.) 03 Mar 2024 20:41:11
I can't get my head round it either.

13.) 03 Mar 2024 21:00:09
Good question jfm, I think taking him out the team shows him his current form isn’t good enough and makes him more focused and try harder in training to get back into the team. Then slowly reintroduced to maintain his focus. The same you would do with any other position really.

14.) 03 Mar 2024 21:38:33
Mr Potato I agree that the team didn’t play well and we were slow and off it most of the game, Butland has got credit with me though as he has bailed us out many times this season, his save on Wednesday was exceptional and kept us in the game, it was a free header at the back post and it squeezed in.

15.) 03 Mar 2024 22:12:21
Yes can’t wait for the we conceded 7 goals less that Celtic trophy over the last 3 years.

16.) 03 Mar 2024 22:21:51
The answer why the defence has been better this year stands between the goalposts mate. Goldson needs either a rest or he needs replaced in sunmer as he's been ropey for a while now. Always caught with balls in behind and its like he is being targetted.

17.) 03 Mar 2024 22:24:08
Storm, you’re missing my point ~ no-one was happy with the result or performance but most fans have been very content with the squads performances since PC came in.

One bad result following a weak performance against Killie and some fans cream themselves as the shred our defence again.

My point is that our defence has not stopped us winning the league 3 out of 4 years (we haven’t scored enough goals) but they get slaughtered at every turn.

Blue boy, 2 out of 4 including this season so far.

18.) 03 Mar 2024 23:38:08
Souttar gets done for first goal but Goldson loses Blair in box and it’s a good finish. Second goal Diomonde has acres of space but takes bad touch loses possession , quick ball wide and a good cross and finish. Diomonde is to blame here. Plenty of chances to win this game but we are not clinical enough. Look at Ross county game 40 shots two goals eventually it catches up. Celtic are not great look at scales performance today he was as bad as our two yesterday to be honest. We are on right track under the manager but do feel we need our big players back asap.

19.) 04 Mar 2024 01:16:37
I still think balogun has held us together a lot this season souttar is not a left cb goldson always seems to get caught in big games and your right on paper we are but what happens when we need to defend against celtic we seem to come up short

Goldson and balogun will be aging out soon Davies will be offski

So we need to sign defenders not rocket science.

03 Mar 2024 14:01:39
So after the ridiculous backlash from some of our support including booing the team off and handing the title to Celtic, it seems that we are still at the top of the league.

Just maybe our squad is capable of beating a very average Celtic team to the title and our fans need to take a deep breath and accept that the league is never won in February.

PC has asked for calm, 100% support from fans even when there are bumps in the road ~ can the fans deliver?

1.) 03 Mar 2024 14:08:43
Great post dk. We will win the league.

2.) 03 Mar 2024 14:15:46
Don’t think anyone said yesterday the league was over, just moaned about getting beat and it could have been a dent. Great result from hearts today and done us a big favour and keeps us top whilst heaping even more pressure on Celtic and their manager. Done us a turn that’s for sure.

3.) 03 Mar 2024 14:16:19
Yeah solid post I agree ?. it’s time to roll up the sleeves and battle.

4.) 03 Mar 2024 14:17:28
100% DK we had half the team being replaced PC said there would be bumps on the road well we are over the bump and still top let’s get behind all player push them on towards the title.

5.) 03 Mar 2024 14:18:12
I think the vast majority of Rangers fans whilst disappointed, were conceding nothing.

We’ve got away with one this weekend but nothing has changed. Still one game at a time and see where it takes us

Injuries are a real concern. I wanted to see us try and progress further in the Europa but we are really going to struggle fighting for 3 competitions with the players we have missing.

6.) 03 Mar 2024 14:18:29
Nicely stated DK19 - Backlash is and was expected and is just a form of disappointment . so we move on still top with our strikers and 2 CB's breathing a sigh of relief . 'WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED" seems fitting today.

7.) 03 Mar 2024 14:18:37
Those who gave up the league yesterday were being ridiculous, however, those who were having a go for getting beat, at home, off of a very average Motherwell team, who sit 8th in the league, were not being ridiculous.

How predictable that DK is the first on to have a go at fans, eh?

8.) 03 Mar 2024 14:22:28
Long way to go, let’s hope so, starts again in the league when we visit Dundee, massive reprieve today.

9.) 03 Mar 2024 14:23:10
Dk them losing doesn't mean our short comings have gone, yes still top but we must take yesterday as a warning our Ch need to be stronger and our forwards can't miss chances like we did.

10.) 03 Mar 2024 14:27:08
We have got out of jail thanks to Hearts after our poor showing yesterday - hopefully all our squad will be aware of that and will come back stronger and avoid any other repeats like yesterday - lots of humble pie in the Tims dinner menus today after all their mouthing yesterday WATP.

11.) 03 Mar 2024 14:30:30
I agree John, plenty of twists and turns before the end of the season but I believe we will win the league.

12.) 03 Mar 2024 14:32:29
Great post DK19, I feel that too many of our Fans don't look at the bigger picture going forward, there will be changes to the squad in the Summer, but PC is over achieving with where has taken us in such a short period of time.

13.) 03 Mar 2024 14:35:50
we won the league around this time js, not that i disagree with you but titles can be won by the beginning of march.

14.) 03 Mar 2024 14:43:17
Last 2 games we have been miles off it there's no denying that. We badly need couple players back from injury to give us a little boost. Matondo and cantwell be the closest ones for the run in?

15.) 03 Mar 2024 14:47:49
We are in a slightly stronger position in the SPL now with less games to play, certainly improved my weekend. Rodgers post match interview is going to get a 9.9 on Rotten tomatoes. Clear red for endangering a player, Celtic pen was not a pen or at least very soft, Hearts Pen was a pen by IFAB rules. Rodgers will get banned for name checking the VAR official Beaton even though it was the on field ref that made all the decisions LOL.

16.) 03 Mar 2024 14:49:52
League isn’t over not by a long shot but I thought the crowd were booing the ref not the players.

That result today for me makes yesterday worse as we could have been further in front. Both teams are
Average let’s be honest here. Mwell bullied us yesterday but I forgot no one is allowed tobe critical of our team.

17.) 03 Mar 2024 14:51:31
The red card changed the game. Let's be honest. Let's this be a lesson and move on to the next game. I thought the players thought it was easy winning the league yesterday. Roll u sleeves and learn.

18.) 03 Mar 2024 15:06:47
Superb post DK ?I posted as much myself yesterday, not long after i was home from the game?I stated the hysteria by some on here and actually some supporters who sit close to me at ibrox, was way over the top ? There of course will be bumps and twists and turns when you're fighting to win a league title, that's football ?.

19.) 03 Mar 2024 15:39:08
For having an opinion on the teams poor performance yesterday?
Remember you were prepared to Follow Follow Beale to the end of the season as you were quite prepared to accept mediocre performances.
Nothing wrong with constructive criticism ?.

20.) 03 Mar 2024 16:01:03
? ? ? MPH!

21.) 03 Mar 2024 16:40:51
MPH, in the copland road yesterday plenty sitting around me were saying that's our bubble burst the league's away for another season etc and even clement's team selection was all wrong so it wasn't just having an opinion mate, it was some giving up because we had a poor performance and lost ? There's a lot of football to be played yet before the destination of this league title is decided, with nerves, twists and turns still to come ?.

22.) 03 Mar 2024 17:04:18
That's just raw emotion, coops. Honestly, who could blame them? One title in 13 years, isn't exactly something to instill confidence, so it's no wonder some fans think the worse.
Remember, the OP is someone who has backed every loser since the gaffer left (with the exception of Gerrard), and he's well known for getting 90% more wrong than he's ever got right on here!

23.) 03 Mar 2024 17:36:26
RTR, just sharing an opinion ~ who you going to argue with next?

Tattle, fake news, move on.

24.) 03 Mar 2024 19:13:19
I’ve continually said that Rangers will win the league since Clement was appointed, SWS.
And that hasn’t changed afte4 Saturday or even Sundaysresults.
That will not stop me calling out below par performances.

02 Mar 2024 09:52:04
Morning Ed,
Is there a problem with my account?
Over the last 4 weeks only a few of my comments have been posted.

{Ed033's Note - No problem, except you have a habit of mostly 'attacking' other posters rather than talking about Rangers / other football clubs / football in general.

1.) 02 Mar 2024 10:46:49
Is it bad this made me laugh out loud ?
and put a smile on my face ?
No harm meant ?.

2.) 02 Mar 2024 10:51:31
Noted but I thought in general they have been no different to other posters that attack every opinion of mine?

Odd exception perhaps?

{Ed033's Note - What you seem to be saying is that you mostly post on here to intentionally 'attack' other posters. If so, you can see the issue with your posts?

3.) 02 Mar 2024 11:33:45
Everyone gets posts that don’t go thru, I have no doubt I have many the Ed’s probably fed up deleting some of mine and I apologise for that Ed. Some posts are in heat of the moment etc… but rightly so the Ed’s don’t post them.

{Ed001's Note - it is the same on all the sites, I sometimes wish I had someone to do the same for my posts. It only takes a bad day to make your replies come out much more antagonistic than you actually mean to be.}

4.) 02 Mar 2024 12:06:18
Forktonguesonhere⬅️⬅️⬅️? case in point past few days. Eh Ed! ?.

{Ed001's Note - I am saying nothing.}

5.) 02 Mar 2024 12:25:18
Lol get popped upon everywhere the day? prob deserve it.

6.) 02 Mar 2024 12:41:38
I'm the same as storm, Fork, and I know for a fact the Eds haven't let a good few of mine through.
Like Ed001 said, all it takes is one bad day, and that's it. Look at me on the live chat the other night. Killie go 1-0 up and I lose it and start on all the posters who were posting how easy the league is going to be, as if it's their fault. Pure mental behaviour, but my emotions got the better of me. Honestly, my wife thinks I'm broken in the head the way I react to the football.

7.) 02 Mar 2024 12:51:18
I know RTR I've been a total D#@k past few days, I'm having a pop back at storm on rumours posts as we speak, same with you earlier to day, mist just descends at times, strange cause discussions with both of you are normally factual, funny and sensible, need to get my mojo back.

8.) 02 Mar 2024 12:53:58
Raise, when we are not playing well it get to us. Be a sad day if it didn’t.

9.) 02 Mar 2024 12:56:36
Guys, sometimes it's not the football but a bad day at at the office and sometimes it's the device you're using is being your worst enemy. Keep posting troops. This is a great site.
Ps. Thanks to our Eds.

10.) 02 Mar 2024 13:12:52
I’m quite glad the Ed’s do this as I have had a few not posted at it reminds me that I have maybe went a bit too far.

11.) 02 Mar 2024 13:14:37
Ed, I’m sure you have far better things to do with your time than to play school teacher to prevent the kids from being nasty to each other. However I for one thank you for this. We’re all meant to be part of the Rangers family and yet some would rather take pot shots at other family members rather than respect the views of others whilst debating the relative merits of their opinions. Any reduction in the malice is a welcome improvement in my eyes.

For the avoidance of doubt, this is a general opinion and not directed at any specific poster. Enjoy the game today bears.

{Ed033's Note - Ok thanks.

12.) 02 Mar 2024 13:21:55
That’s not nice Stig, made me cry?.

13.) 02 Mar 2024 16:00:38
I don’t take anything personally fork anyway we all have good days and bad it’s life.

If we don’t turn this around it will be a bad for me being from mwell and knowing a lot of their fans ?‍♂️ and living with 2 jungles as well. Pray for me.

Correct roofe is just emotion that’s all part of being a football fan.

Cmon rangers pull this one out.

14.) 02 Mar 2024 16:24:23
No problem Storm, having a c#@t of a time lately made worse by being a fud, one back one more will do.

As usual, picking and choosing what suits your arguments ~ I have always been a strong supporter of Tav and have recognised what he brings to the team over many years.

Plenty of other posters (who know more than I do, have more in the know mates than I do and have played at a very high level?) have repeatedly run him down.

Now, I don’t know what he is worth to a Saudi team but if we do sell him we will struggle to replace him this season and retain a chance to win the league.

My point of course is that those who have repeatedly run him down stating he is worth nothing are now suggesting that we should sell for less than £10m?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️

Bit like, me saying I want rid of my 25 year old mini cause it’s sh*t and always breaks down but value it at £50000 as soon as someone might want to buy it?

TT, I didn’t say hates in my post but plenty of folk have.

Definitely have him back on the right terms.

PC is big enough to motivate Morelos back to his best but we won’t pay the money he was on before.

6 month deal with an option for a further 3 years if he screws the nut.

Just a question since Ince brought it up in his interview - if you think that booing has a benefit to any player and therefore will increase the chances of a win, vote as Yes. If not, vote no.

Tom, as usual, I disagree with you and if you don't want to vote, don't.

Dundee have losses of £2.5m and expect similar in the current year. Fact is that it is impossible to compete outside the top 6 in Scotland and the rest are simply making up the numbers.

Should their pitch be better? Yes but there are systematic problems in Scottish football that are the root cause.

Only solution for me is for Sky to insist on a merger of SPL and English leagues.

Roofe, I get to Ibrox 4 or 5 times a season because I live too far away to be more regular.

When I go I hear more support that boo's and I've never heard a fan hand the title to Celtic in April when we are 1 win from a 2 point lead in the league - but you have bottled the challenge.

Tom, what are you on about? We disagree on just about everything apart from Matondo (and Dessers? ) so no point engaging as you seem to become over emotional and take time away when we debate.

You have already thrown in the towel and handed the title to the other side a bit you say those of stand by the players have a losers mentality??????.
