The big lady at center half Shane fluffy was mince.

19 Oct 2020 14:27:42
Agree laudrup, Morelos terrified him and Ajer.

18 Oct 2020 22:05:00
Just thinking about Celtic whining that they have six first team players out, that's why they lost. If we lost Morelos, Kent, Davis, arfield, helander and barisic, we could easily field defoe, hagi, jack, Jones, balogun and basset. We have the depth. We have the power. No excuses. 55.

18 Oct 2020 21:31:17
I agree on the 3rd.

18 Oct 2020 21:20:20
Great result yesterday but 3 things stood out for me.

1) Glen Kamara has really toughened up this season and isn't shy putting himself about when required.

2) Barker must have something on SG to get a start in this team. At best he should be on the bench to use as an impact player.

3) Lennon is a tactical genius lol.

19 Oct 2020 00:26:55
He couldn’t my An impact at a bar mitzvah with a pack of bacon in each hand 🖐.

18 Oct 2020 20:59:11
Great win yesterday! let's keep our feet on the ground!

There's a familiour scoreline in Glasgow again today.
Celtic getting beat 2-0 by Glasgow City ladies
Rangers beat hearts 5-1 earlier.

18 Oct 2020 19:42:18
Was a couple of their ladies team not playing yesterday 3 cheers?
I'm sure the left back Laxative was one of them. 😉
🔴⚪🔵.

18 Oct 2020 19:51:35
Just had some1me tion the boy daniel jonson did we sign him.

18 Oct 2020 20:18:02
Yes bluebell I thought she was quite a stylish player.

18 Oct 2020 17:34:38
Hi
The difference between Lennon and Gerrard is huge.

Gerrard has very good pulling power to sign new players, Lennon does not have that luxury.

Would you want to play under Lennon or Gerrard.

Lennon has no man management skills and the players can only take so much.

People look up to Gerrard and give him respect.

Gerrard will not only give us 55, he will also get Lennon his p45.

Celtic fans know this but may not admit it.

I am glad the Rangers board took a chance on him.

Celtic fans would love to have Gerrard as their manager before he joined the famous.

In Gerrard we trust.

18 Oct 2020 17:53:32
Yip as i've always said to the gerrard doubters on here, 'gerrard will win the league as rangers manager'👍🇬🇧.

18 Oct 2020 18:09:13
Let’s just keep head down and keep winning. Write off Lennon and his team at our peril.

18 Oct 2020 18:11:01
What Gerrard doubters?

They’ve all gone to ground as of yesterday but guaranteed they’ll be back after our next poor performance

Sunshine supporters!

18 Oct 2020 18:14:57
Exactly DK, I’ve just said same to dsgers.

18 Oct 2020 18:17:49
The whole point is Coop is our club was in a terrible place after Warburton and Pedro and it was always going to take a few years to get back to our rightful place! The board have stuck their neck out for StevieG and as a club we are in a good place. We now have have a few players worth in the region of £15 million upwards and hopefully after Champions League experience their price will go up! We went to Porkheid yesterday knowing we would win and the only disappointment for us all probably was we never won by more although it was a masterclass performance ✌️🇬🇧.

18 Oct 2020 18:28:57
He must win the league this year coop, his last two attempts were shambolic👍.

18 Oct 2020 18:32:21
Nothing is won in October let’s not get a head of ourselves because every time we have had pressure the team has bottled it.

Let’s see where we are in April/ may.

18 Oct 2020 18:37:53
It’s not just about SG John, plenty of people slated Tav and Goldson starting “we’ll never win the league with Tav, Goldson an empty shirt or Tav is never a Rangers captain’.

All pretty embarrassed now I hope.

18 Oct 2020 19:05:07
I’d love to see tabs goal involvement stats versus appearances it must be outrageous.

18 Oct 2020 19:07:46
Let's not get ahead of ourselves people. Excellent result and performance yesterday but let's not get carried away. We've been in good positions the last 2 season's but blew it after December.

18 Oct 2020 19:13:09
Hang fire guys, it's the middle of October. We all but gave them a hiding yesterday in all senses apart from goals. The next 3 games for us in the league look very winnable. Theirs are arguably against the next best 3 teams in the league ( if they turn up! )
We have blown numerous chances to open a gap over the years, we can't pass this chance up.
Let's see where we are at the next International break.

18 Oct 2020 19:24:25
DK19 can you tell me what we have won yet

All yesterday is was 3 points and it doesn’t mean anything plenty of points to go .

Too many fans think we have won the league already and that’s embarrassing.

18 Oct 2020 19:26:43
Huge games for Rangers is where Stevie shines. Imagine sitting in that dressing room with Steven Gerrard standing there putting fire into your belly. Players looking up at him and players looking up at Lennon is the reason Oldfirm games have swung our way. We need to start taking care of the smaller games. Every game should be played like a champions league final from here on in. There’s some special bubbling away here lads. This is the one. Keep believing 🙏🏻.

18 Oct 2020 19:28:24
Even after yesterday some posts are negative. man. Take a prozac.

18 Oct 2020 19:46:49
KJA9, we have won the first OF game of the season very comfortably.

Our defence is solid and we are scoring goals from all over the park.

That’s it, no cup, no medals but it feels pretty good.

If you choose to feel deflated and negative you ought to talk to someone because right now things are looking good.

No predictions but I’m backing the manager and every player he chooses to wear the shirt.

18 Oct 2020 19:56:49
So nobody has the right to criticise the team or manager regardless of how poor they've played? So only those who have never questioned the manager's tactics or a poor performance of a player are true Rangers fans? Grow up! It's only October and we've not won anything, so wind your holier than thou necks in and give a rest. Honestly, what age are some on here!

18 Oct 2020 19:58:56
Dk I’ll put up my hand re tav, he was a terrible defender who cost us so much, however he has really upped his game this season and is defending much better than ever.

18 Oct 2020 20:08:45
I don't think KJA9 is deflated DK, I think he is just being realistic. 👍.

18 Oct 2020 20:12:53
Don't think anyone is suggesting folk can't criticize the manager or the players.
Maybe a slightly calmer response to a poor result or performances from individual players from a select few on here who go too far in their criticism? 🤔
Yesterday was great, let's stay focused, support the manager and players and keep getting points on the board.

18 Oct 2020 20:15:07
Don’t say this often but thanks coldo.

I am not deflated DK19 but I am also not stupid enough to think we have won the league or going to win the league because of one game especially after the last two years.

I think we have a chance of going close this year but we all know the problems we do have especially when the pressure is on us.

Just because am realistic doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy yesterday.

18 Oct 2020 20:26:01
Does anyone think the reason that capt Tav has been so good this season is because there is not 50000 fans screaming at him when he makes a mistake, poor cross etc?
He looks far more settled and composed than he ever has and playing great.

18 Oct 2020 20:27:29
Only 3 points in October if celtic would have got the 3 points yesterday it would have been doom and gloom.
Some posters on here me included can see a pathetic celtic team and a celtic manager who has lost the plot, it might only be October but already the pressure is on them, they are worse than they were last season and we are cruising along nicely.
These next few games will be interesting they will drop points for sure the state they are in so 9 points from next 3 could widen the gap to 7 or 8 points, this is going to be our season and Gerrard won't just be happy with 55.
Trebles on.

18 Oct 2020 20:31:26
I think the set up against celtic away is the set up we should be playing in all away games. It brings the other teams out.

18 Oct 2020 20:37:36
Could be 3cheers, but handling the pressure of 50k fans is a must when you play at our club. 👍.

18 Oct 2020 20:41:43
I can always remember a statement made by sir walter smith many years ago now. He stated if he wins the league and nothing else every season he keeps his job. That sums it up for me.

18 Oct 2020 20:48:33
Unfortunately, mrgrumpy there are a few permanently offended on here who are aghast at any negative aimed at our manager or players even if it is warranted. The one thing worse than a sore loser is a sore winner! I can't believe that some are aiming digs at others on here because they have rightly criticised the manager after some horrendous results and performances off the back of a truly amazing result yesterday. We should all be celebrating instead of aiming digs at fellow Rangers supporters because they don't conform to their way of thinking.
Sunshine supporters! What a pathetic thing to say.

18 Oct 2020 21:10:08
Exactly BMGH01

Unfortunately you get that with any support and it’s just childish and embarrassing fans trying to say am a better fan than you 🤭

Crack on lads.

18 Oct 2020 21:10:10
BMG some just cannot help themselves.

18 Oct 2020 21:28:51
BMG, clearly aimed at me and I’m big enough to give it out and take it back.

Remind me, which horrendous results and performances this season have warranted the criticism that SG and a few of the players have received since the season started?

Could it be a draw at Livingston that justifies throwing in the towel, sacking the manager and stripping Tav of the captaincy?

Too many claim to know better than the manager and claim to be right on team formation and selection but not many are big enough to admit they were wrong.

As for aiming digs at fellow supporters it’s ok to aim digs at our players but there is no right of reply - that’s pathetic double standards!

I remember a wee amateur footballer from Glasgow who probably doesn’t know anything compared to some on here but he once said “show me a good loser and I’ll show you are loser”. No such thing as a sore winner, just a winner.

18 Oct 2020 21:49:21
Spot on BMG 👍🏻.

18 Oct 2020 22:02:29
Who mentioned just this season? Have you forgotten what happened the last 2 seasons?
Ok DK19 you're a better Rangers fan than me, hands up! Is that what you want to hear? Grow up, the world is full of different opinions, some you'll agree with, and some you won't. My issue is with the ones (yes, you are one of them) who question others loyalties on here because they are critical of the manager's signings or tactics or when we throw away the league or get pumped out of every cup competition over the last 2 years. I'll agree with you that some of the criticism is OTT at times and unwarranted, but that does not make anyone less of a supporter than you!

18 Oct 2020 22:17:47
And just for the record, I have admitted I was wrong about Tav recently on here - I think he has been absolutely fantastic and has now grown into his role as our captain and long may it continue. Although I have been critical of our manager, I have never championed anyone else for the job. Gerrard has deserved some of the criticism over the last 2 and a bit years, but he also deserves the plaudits he gets in Europe and the performances against Celtic.
I'll be the first on here eating humble pie If we win the league this season, believe me.

19 Oct 2020 04:31:51
BMGH01

Wouldn’t let it it bother you, these better supporters who think there better supporters are in here whinging about everyone else after another great result
And all they do is come on and slag of fellow supporters which is now becoming a habit of there’s
The team is now playing the way we have all been shouting for for months and our own manager has questioned there own resolve to make it last the whole season
So it’s not just us sunshine supporters asking the question our own manager also asking the question of them and of himself openly live on tv

No excuses this year good big talented squad of players who have now belief they can do it
Board have backed the Manager gave him the funds for this squad hats off to them too

Long may it continue and long may the team play to our expectations 😁 and it’s not even sunny outside infact it’s raining 😘.

19 Oct 2020 07:14:44
I don't think anyone has claimed they're a better supporter than others.
The fact is/ was there was folk on here posting we'd lost the league, this player was sh*t, that player was sh*t after drawing a game.
C*ltic game was great and yes it was only 3 points in October, nothing is decided in October.
But if we'd been beaten there was posters on here before the game that wanted the manager sacked! In October!
That's mad.

19 Oct 2020 08:23:12
Bang on grumpy!

John, we all get things wrong but not everyone is big enough to change their view.

Even I questioned Tav last year when his form dipped but I could not believe that SG was getting it so wrong and must see something that wasn’t evident during games.

19 Oct 2020 10:32:47
Has Coldo had the humility to congratulate our manager yet after Saturdays result, or is he waiting until our next draw before he starts demanding that he gets sacked!

18 Oct 2020 15:55:49
Good performance yesterday, important to kick on now keep the pressure on them, they are down so stand on their throat, do think a genuine right sided attacker needed in next window.

18 Oct 2020 16:09:49
Agree there border blue a great performance by the whole team yesterday and a wee bit of Timskelping from Alfredo as a wee bonus 🖐🇬🇧.

18 Oct 2020 19:29:07
Morelos again was brilliant. They can't mark him.

18 Oct 2020 20:15:25
Brilliant? No, but he ran his arse off and he was a handful for the c*ltic defence.

18 Oct 2020 14:34:19
If glen kamara has a good euros tournament with finland, i think we'll be trying to fend off numerous offers for him! He's a terrific midfielder, smooth as silk and positional sense is immense, not to mention his terrific technical ability. 👌

I always stated on here to the kamara doubters and there was a few, how good a midfielder, this guy is. We won't spend a better 50k anywhere! Certain supporters jumped on his back when he lost a bit of form, but his ability i certainly never questioned, as the old saying goes, 'cream always rises to the top'. When we do eventually sell kamara, it will easily be £10million plus 👍.

18 Oct 2020 15:16:46
Sgl fair play i have held my hands up. Kamara has improved 10 fold on last season. As he was honkin. Bit more than happy to see his major improvement. long may it continue.

18 Oct 2020 15:18:40
The way he’s playin mate I’d say 15-20 we should sell ourselves short as we have done for years.

18 Oct 2020 15:29:21
dont think we have sold ourselves short over the past few years we just haven't had anyone good enough to sell on . but we most certainly do now!

18 Oct 2020 15:44:28
Paul 86, kamara lost form last season that's all. One of the main reasons that kamara lost form for me was he was continually in and out the team for no reason when he was actually playing well! You notice now that gerrard has learned from that and continually starts kamara. there's reasons for everything mate, as like i said football isn't just black or white, as there's many contributing factors in between 🤔.

18 Oct 2020 15:57:42
Agreed sgl that kamara is the best £50000 that we will ever spend. i hope we get him on a good contract and he stays a while longer as the guys been outstanding this year.
And also with you on that Brian as we hear that all too often that we sell ourselves short. When was the last player we sold on the cheap who's been worth millions?

18 Oct 2020 16:01:15
I’m going back longer than that Brian ie jelavic, cuellar, bougherra, we’ve hardly made money on any players going back a long time mate.

18 Oct 2020 16:18:22
Spot on coop, gerrard has to take responsibility for dropping and rotating players for no reason. Consistency is key to building form, I have said for a long time how good kamara is and how he needs to play week in week out and when he does we will see how good he is. Now we are seeing how good he really is. The injuries to jack and aribo were a blessing in disguise. I like jack but davis and kamara start before him and arfield starts before aribo. Arfield has been giving morelos the support up top he has been needing and the runs that arfield has been making through the middle and into the box almost like a second striker is what our attacking play has been desperately missing. 👍.

18 Oct 2020 16:19:17
Why do so many on here not understand we signed Kamara on freedom of contract in the January.
We then paid 50k to release him from last four month of his deal at Dundee as they would not play him.

18 Oct 2020 16:21:02
Good post Brian, we now have players worth millions, that shows progress. Next we must win silver.

18 Oct 2020 16:24:00
Kamara transfer = 50,000

Shane Duffy cost per week to Celtic = £40,000

Need I say more?

18 Oct 2020 16:45:09
John we paid 50k to get him in January instead of waiting until the summer for free move. Therefore he cost us 50k in transfer fee. 👍.

18 Oct 2020 17:11:38
What ever way you look at it, we paid 50k in a transfer fee from dundee, to sign him 6months earlier, so i agree with you coldo, on this one.

18 Oct 2020 17:24:23
Far far from the only one who knew Kamara was a class act,

Gerard made a lot of mistakes last season, dropping players for no reason

And keeping some on the team when they didn’t want to be there, let’s have it right,
No need for another endless debate, if we’re talking about dropping guys for nothing then there’s another side to last season failure
Onwards and upward.

18 Oct 2020 17:44:32
So we paid 50k to sign him on a free. I'm glad that's cleared that up John cheers.

18 Oct 2020 17:54:53
Coldo you were one of the folk SGL is talking about 🤭

Paul name one player that was honking last year from jan onwards .

18 Oct 2020 17:56:29
SGL

Yes kamarra was excellent. But let’s praise the team whole team been playing very well since the hibs game and long may it continue 😊👍.

18 Oct 2020 17:56:40
I agree with you tomthumb12,there was a good few of us who did state we rated kamara highly 👍.

18 Oct 2020 18:16:56
But everyone seems to forget he was still a bosman, Dundee valued him at 1.5.

18 Oct 2020 18:17:33
SGL many on here have rated him, just as many wanted him out.

18 Oct 2020 18:32:00
KJA9 what you on about. I have never doubted Kamara.? Maybe you could clarify coop? 👍.

18 Oct 2020 18:33:18
He wasn't a bosman though john when we paid 50k to get him. He would have been a bosman if we waited until the summer. 👍.

18 Oct 2020 18:34:22
John what are you in about we signed him for 50k that my friend is FACT.

Doesn’t matter if he had signed for the on coming season we signed him for 50k to have him in January.
No one is forgetting anything.

18 Oct 2020 19:25:34
Coldo yes you did.

18 Oct 2020 19:48:42
Ok kJ I have my view but respect everyone else.

18 Oct 2020 19:51:08
No inside information but I have it on good authority that SG has never dropped a player for no reason.

There are many on here praising Kamara who slated him not that long ago but are now denying it - you know who you are 😉

Just wait til Aribo gets back into full flow then we’ll see the same denials 👍.

18 Oct 2020 19:58:52
I've always been a big fan of Kamara and Jack. Just saying.

18 Oct 2020 20:11:00
I doubted kamara KJA9? Are you joking. I have been defending him for two year. You are mistaken again kiddo👍.

18 Oct 2020 20:28:24
Kamara is playing well this season, no question about that. I think the whole team is.
Kamara got dropped/ rotated because he was poor last season. Although in fairness every single player was p*sh second half of the season.

18 Oct 2020 21:12:26
I apologise if I got it wrong coldo am sure you were one but doesn’t matter anyway in the grand scheme of things.

I have always rated kamara and I’ll hold my hands up on tav but some of the criticism he has got he deserved but he has turned it around this season so far but is it because no fans in stadiums? I don’t know 🤷.

18 Oct 2020 21:17:03
In fairness I can't remember coldo doubting kamara. Tav, goldson, barisic, Aribo? Yup he's doubted them! 😉
Did I miss someone out coldo? 🤔.

18 Oct 2020 21:28:19
Ojo grumpy🤦‍♂️. No worries KJA9 all good. 👍.

18 Oct 2020 21:38:24
Forgot about him!
I was thinking fredo😁.

18 Oct 2020 21:49:47
We seem to be thriving without fans KJA9, I think that questions mentality and ability to cope with pressure if I'm honest. 👍.

18 Oct 2020 21:50:19
I’m sure Coldo slated Kent and Katic at some point 😀👍.

18 Oct 2020 21:51:06
15 mill at least for Kamara.

18 Oct 2020 23:13:45
You're just being silly now DK. Why would I slate the best 7mil we will ever spend, and katic is a quality young player with loads of potential👍.

18 Oct 2020 14:15:33
McGregor was out I didn't see him in the game 🤣.

18 Oct 2020 17:58:28
I think we got too many (holding) midfielders. I love to see midfielders in the opposing box Ie, Fergusson, Albertz, Gazza.

18 Oct 2020 19:08:14
Aribo will provide that and I think also Arfield if we can keep our 11 and improve it next summer we’re going to be a very very good team. I don’t think we’ll keep borna and kamara perhaps Kent. Hopefully we get champion league and that swings it.

18 Oct 2020 12:59:23
Great to see Aribo make an appearance yesterday and hopefully Roofe also now available for consideration.

18 Oct 2020 13:29:59
Yip Aribo was starting to impress every game before his injury. Can't wait to see how zunga gets on fighting for a place because our midfield is strong. I hope and pray Roofe can keep fit but it doesn't look good and if his past two teams let him go because he is injury prone then why would he suddenly become bulletproof for us. Fingers crossed for him🤞.

18 Oct 2020 13:33:03
No need for the Zunga signing, he will be lucky to get a game.

18 Oct 2020 13:35:06
Aribo is certainly a player. As for Roofe- I'm on the fence at the moment. As you all know I had backed us to win 3 nil at 30/ 1. Now my wife who has never gambled in her life decided yesterday she wanted a fiver on 2 nil Rangers. Yes we have the bragging rights as does my Mrs, £65 she won ! Beginners luck or what?

18 Oct 2020 14:00:28
I'll never understand the logic in buying a player with proven injury problems like Roofe.

18 Oct 2020 14:13:09
I see some people saying Wilshere is past it? He's only 28 . If he can prove his fitness he'd be a great signing.

18 Oct 2020 14:44:41
Sweep only in your opinion because the managers opinion is that we need him 🤭.

18 Oct 2020 14:38:17
Don't need wilshire.

18 Oct 2020 15:32:49
Have a look in that at that side and bench and tell me how a guy that's playing french 2nd division will improve it?

18 Oct 2020 16:14:15
It has no relevance what league any player comes from.
Remind me sweep where did we sign Glenn Kamara from?

18 Oct 2020 16:21:11
Sweep where did we get Kamara from?
Zunga was playing for a team that just got relegated, he was French top flight till then. With Europe and cups we numbers and have a good balance for the engine room. Injuries, loss of form and rest will be big factors.

18 Oct 2020 16:23:55
Sweep tell me how Goldston, uglehumbu, kamara, Kent, balugun, et al have not improved our first pick and bench.

18 Oct 2020 17:43:37
John what you talking about? I'm saying Zunga won't get on our bench because it's to strong now.

18 Oct 2020 18:55:46
And to be competitive on all fronts we will need a strong squad with the gaffer able to rotate and make changes so Zungu will get plenty of opportunities and then suporters can judge him. Would rather trust the gaffer with playing personnel than some of the folk on here 🙄👍👍👍👍.

18 Oct 2020 19:50:02
Sweep he will be on bench or pitch.

18 Oct 2020 19:55:27
Sweep. Why did the manager spend time wanting to get him in he disny think he was capable of strengthening the squad. That’s what he said. Only interested in players who can improve the first team. Regardless of where he was playing previous.

18 Oct 2020 11:33:09
Good morning 😊

Great result yesterday, players never really came out 2nd gear I don't think overall was a very dare I say easy game very controlled
Barker I'm not sure about still.
Made some tackles and some runs still feel a little light weight possibly at times
Possibly would have liked to see Jones starting in his place yesterday
Think Jones looks to have a bit more pace and more grit to his game and we know he can finish think the way Celtic played yesterday Jones would have had a right good game

anyone worried when big goldson sort of lost the ball when Elyounoussi probably had more time than he thought to control ball? That could have been an equaliser but still think we would have went in and won the game and upped the tempo if we needed too
Thankfully he put it behind him and played well rest of game and scored twice who would have thought
Tom obviously did 😜 well done Tom😊

Alfie slapping back of browns head looking back it was funny as hell and for once it was Alfie winding him up
But could that have been a booking that seen a card produced?

Celtic we're totally flat yesterday void of any passion and fight and really any creativity at all was very strange to see especially in an old firm
Gerrard got tactics spot on team done what was asked

Celtic play Milan next can see them getting hammered again
Then away to Aberdeen, Aberdeen really need to take there game to them what a result it would be if Aberdeen get anything from it
3 games in a row Celtic not winning could see them all really shouting for Lenny head as some already are after yesterday 😁
Just shows even a manger that wins trophies losing a game fans shouting for his head 😉

I just hope our team can just keep plugging away and getting results one game at a time
I'm not even bothered with a good European run yes it's great to watch and be involved but if it's going to hinder us in anyway with injuries players getting knackered that causes us to drop points in league then much rather just focus on league?
It's definitely there for the taking this year
There's no excuses this year we're now top of league even with there game in hand we sit top
It's up to our team to stay there and in past couple seasons we have proven it's easier said than done

I definitely think we have the potential we have a big enough squad and all with good ability they need to prove now they can do it over full course of season
and Gerrard has pointed this out a few times recently about when it comes to giving out trophies in may he needs to get the team over that line so he knows what's at stake and good too hear him say it out loud over the last few weeks in his interviews etc
Not sure what's happening over in the east there team is imploding under the pressure
And it's up to us to take full advantage now

Have a good day guys 😊.

18 Oct 2020 11:50:43
To many references to what celtic are going do or not do, it's up to rangers to keep winning, we gave Livingston and kilmarnock next 2 games, sides we continue to lose points against. Both will sit in and we need to find a way to break them down, looking at the players coming back Barker definitely shouldn't be a starter in my eyes, completely out his depth in this side.

18 Oct 2020 12:01:05
Goldson looked like he had just came of the waltzers with that chance they had but soon made up for his mistake. Morelos very lucky that would have been a straight red had the ref seen it. Very lucky boy
If we keep winning then it's in our destiny. It's great nobody is calling for our manager to walk and it's them now calling for heads to roll.

18 Oct 2020 12:06:09
Jones not capable of the type of shift Barker put in yesterday.

18 Oct 2020 12:15:21
Bankie have to disagree mate
Think Jones just needs a chance and run of games before we can right him off

Sweep as I said in my post mate and agree with your reply it’s down to us to keep winning
We’re in prime position just need to try to stay there 😊.

18 Oct 2020 12:17:38
3 cheers definitely as I said in post goldson put it behind him and played well and scoring too goals great day for the big man
Morelos could have been off. And left us with 10 men on park could have made difference to the game
Luckily it went our way for a change
But Morelos (no point he is what he is)

18 Oct 2020 12:39:39
Agree stig he's never going to change is always going to be a liability. Looking forward now to Thursday night and another tough tie against the Belgians and hopefully there's a decent crowd for a change and bring back a sense of normality to the players. If we turn up and play at our best then 3pts will get our European campaign of to a great start.

18 Oct 2020 12:49:10
It's all well and said saying Barker puts a shift in but as a winger yesterday his distribution was awful, at times I was wondering what position he was playing aswell at time.

18 Oct 2020 14:46:13
That was never a red card for fredo going by the letter of the law FACT

Haters keep on hating.

18 Oct 2020 15:20:40
Explai why kja9? you’re quick to shoot people down. Alfredo slapped brown across the back of the head. Straight red. Fact.

18 Oct 2020 15:57:21
Hardly a slap, but raised hand at least. Brown was winding up with his usual bullS. for 20 or 30 seconds solid b4 it, should the ref not have stepped in then? Or maybe he couldn't hear him for the 'thunder':-)

18 Oct 2020 16:26:42
I agree with kJ, for straight red it needs to show excessive force or endanger the opponent, I think neither happened.
However he will get cited, they just keep trying.

18 Oct 2020 16:28:58
We have to make sure we give refs absolutely no opportunity to send our players off. If Morelos plays the next 3 OF games it's easy top foresee at least one red card for him and in this season of all seasons we can't afford that.

18 Oct 2020 16:36:50
Yes kja9 please explain as I'm now confused as to why it shouldn't have been a straight red?
I seem to remember kent getting a straight red a few weeks ago in the pre season tournament in France for a silly little slap.

18 Oct 2020 17:43:17
I thought it a was a yellow to be fair, so put that with his other yellow and it would be a red. Morelos was lucky to stay on the park. We really could do without the silly antics. Other than that I thought he had a decent game, he linked up well. 👍.

18 Oct 2020 17:54:07
KJA9 I’m not hating Alfredo where in my post did I say that
And why is this all you took from the post jeezo🙄.

18 Oct 2020 18:34:31
He's selective stig🤭👍.

18 Oct 2020 19:10:38
He likes to be controversial and argumentative. He slates almost every post put on this site. Been annoying me for a while how he answers people’s posts.

18 Oct 2020 19:46:48
He must be meaning me stig because I said he would have got a red card had the ref seen it. So according to kj you only need an opinion on an incident and that's you a hater who keeps on hating. Haha I hate that philosophy.

18 Oct 2020 11:32:12
Morelos getting stick but if u look at how we play no he drops deeper to allow space for mid to run into its working a treat. 2nd goal was setup by morelos and airfield so please guys let's enjoy the result and drop the constant criticism of morelos.

18 Oct 2020 12:07:58
Morelos had a decent game yesterday. Unfortunately his lack of self discipline is always a concern.

18 Oct 2020 12:49:44
I agree Bankie, he put in a right shift and did some good things. He really needs to cut out the stupid kick outs, flicks and slaps. I wonder if the **** supporting compliance officer will have something to say about the "assault" on peanut heid? We need to keep 11 men on the park, end of.

18 Oct 2020 16:26:40
Agree bankie and seeker👍.

18 Oct 2020 11:30:53
A nice wee song my dad used to sing to me years ago.
Along the track 🚂
The train came a puffin
Rangers two Celtic nuffin.
Haha brilliant short n sweet.

18 Oct 2020 16:00:27
Remember it well still have it on cassette tape somewhere but nothing to play it on lol,
Along the track train came a runnin Rangers 3 Celtic Nuthin aha aha that's right, if you think that this is tall stories just wait until you read about the Glories aha aha that's right.
That's the lyrics chum
It's an old one but good Al the same.

18 Oct 2020 16:01:25
Did he ever sing the Rangers ABC to you?

18 Oct 2020 11:28:25
Brill result yest tho i missed game my turn to work wk end but have to keep our feet on ground o point in beating that mob then drop points to livi nxt wk just like last year.

18 Oct 2020 12:10:12
Livingstone, Kilmarnock and Hamilton next 3 league games and must win all.

18 Oct 2020 12:22:54
I really don’t see how we could possibly my drop points to any of these teams
If we play to our best, I’d give itten a chance up too see what he can do.

18 Oct 2020 12:30:43
Complacency may result in us dropping points. Kilmarnock and Livingstone expect to take points from us.

18 Oct 2020 14:47:37
The stig we have already dropped points this season to Livingston.

18 Oct 2020 16:28:07
Stig it’s easy to drop points, it’s about attitude, commitment and drive in every single game.

18 Oct 2020 19:43:44
3 plastic pitches would be a good start mate. Can train on it all ye want. Shouldn’t have a place in pro football.

18 Oct 2020 11:05:42
This is the best hangover that I've had for ages. Its not often you wake up hungover with a big cheesy grin on yer face. I'll have more beer today without the whisky and smile again tomorrow morning.
Great time to be a Teddy bear and me thinks Glenn kamara will have a huge smile today as that was his best performance in a rangers Jersey by far. Many thanks to the full team you were all great.
Cheers Rangers.

18 Oct 2020 11:08:24
3 cheers to that 🥃 😁😊👍.

18 Oct 2020 11:23:28
Heads pounding, everytime I roll over my body aches, unbelievably over tired and dehydrated but I'll gladly take another few of these this season 😀.

18 Oct 2020 11:33:16
Credit were its dues to SG the team and all the back room staff well done and thanks for a great day was classicle to see all the sombre tims in my work.

18 Oct 2020 12:51:21
Well said DS. Keep the faith pal 👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.

18 Oct 2020 13:58:54
😐👌👌.

18 Oct 2020
New image uploaded to the
Rangers Player Sightings page entitled, Brilliant 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

18 Oct 2020 10:15:26
Just saw an exclusive on sky sports news it says Alan McGregor got fined £1000 for going too parkhead too watch the game.

18 Oct 2020 09:51:38
I was under impressed when we signed Helander. I have to say though, how wrong was I. He oozed class yesterday. Him and Goldson for me are our best 2 centre halfs. With Edmonson and Katic as back ups our defence is in a good place! Happy Sunday fellow bears.

18 Oct 2020 10:00:29
Brilliant player, reads the game amazing and is far more consistent than and other CB.

18 Oct 2020 10:10:35
We are so well off in that area. I thought Balogun was also excellent at the start of the season, just unfortunate for him he picked up a knock at the wrong time. But totally agree with original post re big Helander top defender, imagine he could run.

18 Oct 2020 10:32:30
You're right Cambiger, if helander had pace he wouldn't be playing in the scottish league mate! He's a terrific, old school, no nonsense centre half 👌.

18 Oct 2020 10:47:41
I think come next summer, if Balogun is kept on, nkatic mate be loaned out with potential to sell him on. We have 5 very good centre backs and young mayo coming through. Someone will have to be sold imo.

18 Oct 2020 10:59:27
Helander made a tackle in the first 10 minutes that allowed Mcgregor to keep his Jersey clean all day. Helander is our best defender.

18 Oct 2020 11:03:37
He reminds me of Craig Moore who was my favourite centre half in the last 20 years or so. He really complements Goldson as well.

18 Oct 2020 11:20:46
Balogun is a good CH as well and I like him more than Goldson and helander because he has more pace than both just my personal preference.
The only doubt with helander is his lack of pace and it could cost us.

18 Oct 2020 12:54:42
Tbh big Fil has definitely sharpened up. He must be doing a lot of speed training. I agree he is our best CH. Goldson, apart from that one mistake, was excellent as well. Good times 👍🇬🇧.

18 Oct 2020 13:14:11
Goldson and helander. Katic and the fride are behind balogun in pecking order aswel.

18 Oct 2020 14:50:21
Hes not actually that slow kj, just has a weird running style, but he's definitely quicker than I initially yhot 👍 his position and football brain more than makes up for it.

18 Oct 2020 14:59:32
I must admit that last season I wasn't that impressed with Helander, but so far this season I can't fault him. he does look like he has more pace this season which he lacked before, it must be down to training, but he does read the game well, interesting comparison with craig moore Sir Rock!

18 Oct 2020 16:30:57
I gerrard, balogun needs certain amount games to earn new contract, however if Katie not ready we may just offer another year.
We need someone on right for top money, Defoe will go mb even Davis depending on Zunga.

18 Oct 2020 09:41:06
Great result and could have been 4 nil. Off subject a bit but Liverpool's 3rd goal ruled offside by a cm is showing the hole we've dug ourselves into. VAR is ruining the game. Benefit of the doubt to the attacking team worked just fine. In rugby the line used for a forward pass isn't as demanding. Cricket they give umpire's call. Handball today same shambles. The old ball played man or ball played hand worked fine as there was no intent. Fans can barely celebrate a goal instinctively these days. Used to be just a split second glance at the linesman.

18 Oct 2020 10:21:21
Should use the nfl approach, 1 video challenge if you win you get it back if you lose no more challenges.

18 Oct 2020 11:21:38
Sweep the nfl approach wouldn’t work in football it’s ridiculous.

18 Oct 2020 11:54:28
This way is worse, stopping the game to look at everything is a joke.

18 Oct 2020 22:01:19
I like VAR and don't mind the pauses to review the tape. Much prefer the decisions were correct than wrong as feel it would benefit us more over the season being the attacking team in most games.
I find it intriguing and exciting when it goes to the review to see if the player was offside or if there was contact in the box for pen.
If I was a ref I know I would much rather have the technology to help make the correct call than not.

18 Oct 2020 09:20:57
Barker getting stick as he didn't do enough with the ball, one wee run slipped in Kent . He needs to do more on the ball. However there are things going on in the game some people won't notice like his work rate shutting players down etc . The wing backs couldn't get forward to hurt us due to the positioning of our front 3 especially wide 2 . But yes barker needs to do more on the ball.

18 Oct 2020 10:19:40
Agree with you totally, most people don't notice the work done off the ball by some players, kamala was getting stick for it as well but its his workmate and position sense when out of possession that they fail to notice. Barker wasn't at his best when on the ball but his workmate and defensive positioning that snubbed out their wide men.

18 Oct 2020 11:22:36
Barker isn’t good enough it’s that simple and nothing to do with work rate he will never be good enough.

18 Oct 2020 12:07:51
Manager seems to think differently kja9.

18 Oct 2020 09:08:37
Did Morelos nutmeg Broon yesterday or am I wrong?

18 Oct 2020 09:33:37
He smacked his nut.

18 Oct 2020 09:44:27
Oh aye he did indeed, it was sweet.

18 Oct 2020 09:53:38
I saw that too :)

18 Oct 2020 10:04:31
Noticed all the videos of Morelos could have been sent off but jo mention of the two hands he took to the face just outside the Celtic box where we never even got a free kick.
Media been very biased against Rangers again.

18 Oct 2020 10:43:23
He was loosing the plot again yesterday, half time came at the right time.

18 Oct 2020 10:51:58
Aye he megged him 😂 and definitely started to lose plot and if fans were ther I believe would’ve been double booked or booked and straight red. Var he would be off as well. Played well but he’s a timebomb. I’d sell him in January and look to bring someone else in as Roofe and Itten haven’t proven themselves yet.

18 Oct 2020 11:23:39
He wouldn’t have been off with var check the rules out 1st before saying that.

18 Oct 2020 12:57:47
He nutmegged him in the lead up to Tav's volley that flew wide in the first half. Best move of the match for me.

18 Oct 2020 07:50:54
Right 1st thing is 1st lads i am now eating my hat. Kamara has been unreal this season what a game yesterday. Now on to more important business. If we can cut out losing daft points to the lesser teams that sit in then this league is ours. Our midfield is too strong for them they have no answers on how to play against us including cup final (even tho they scraped a lucky win) 1st time we've beat them 2 in a row at parkhead since 95. let's continue on by hammering livis etc.

18 Oct 2020 09:20:53
Kamara is class paul, said it for a couple of years now. Gerrard dropping and rotating players for no reason was why kamara lost form. I said that kamara has to play regularly week in week and you'll the real kamara. He is now playing week in week out and what a player he is. Kamara davis arfield are our midfield three. The injuries to jack and aribo were a blessing in disguise. Zunga will have to be some player to get in this team. 👍.

18 Oct 2020 09:31:12
I agree Coldo. Jack and Aribo are both good players who I like but the midfield 3 of Davis, Kamara and Arfield have been immense and deserve to stay in the team. Davis will need to miss the odd game I would imagine if we are playing Thursday, Sunday but how good is it that we can replace him with Jack, Aribo or Zungu? We've built a great squad and players know that they need to be performing to stay in the team.

18 Oct 2020 10:23:03
All will get game time with the amount of games we have to play.

18 Oct 2020 10:30:45
We need a strong squad to win things this season, I think we have that now.
Having different options, is a good problem to have.
Kamara was in poor form last season (he certainly wasn't the only one), it was one of the reasons he was getting dropped/ rotated.
Poor form can happen to any player, even our favourites.

18 Oct 2020 13:02:40
Jack is too good a player to be dropped. Davis Jack and Kamara should be our mids with Arfield playing off the front. Worked a treat when Jack came on yesterday. Heaved a sigh of relief when I heard that he was coming on. Snuffed them right out from that point. And with Zungu, Aribo and Hagi in the squad it's a good problem to have.

18 Oct 2020 15:04:40
We will need all of our midfielders this season, problem for the last few years was in the case of injuries/ loss of form we had no one else to bring in, but competition for places should be good for us this season, keep everyone on their toes!
