Our defending doesn't make any better viewing the day after!
Ross County 1st goal:-
Goldson fails to stop the cut back.
Lundstram, Souttar, Barisic and Tav also in the box.
By the time Murray has got 2 shots away, Barisic hasn't moved an inch from his starting position. Fecking criminal.
Ross County 2nd goal:-
Tav and Goldson drawn to the ball on the edge of the box on the right, side by side (? ) with Souttar and Lundstram central and Barisic AWOL.
Butland saves and the ball falls to the RC player with Lundstram failing to react. Barisic is still nowhere to be seen. And Barisic appears in view strolling back 30 yards from goal as the RC player goes away to celebrate. Fecking criminal - again.
Ross County 3rd goal:-
Goldson is 30 / 40 yards from goal on the right out of position. RC player skins Tav on the edge of the box.
Lundstram has now let the RC player run past him into a space between Souttar and Sterling.
But nobody picks up the second runner ( Goldson has now just entered the box ) who collects the ball and a simple shimmy past Sterling and he scores. Fecking criminal - again.
Tactics, Team Selection, Individual and Collective Performances all play a part in a defeat.
But the attitude of some of these players is a greater worry.
When players aren't switched on or bursting a gut for the jersey in a game we should be winning with one eye on the bigger prize.
Then that's an even bigger indictment of the mental attitude of players who have been blessed playing for a club we all love.

After we went back to the top of the league, MPH, there was only going to be one thing that could destroy it for us, and that was us ourselves.
As soon as the final whistle blew at Ibrox after we had been pumped by Motherwell, the writing was on the wall.
Let's be honest, we have been terrible since we blew Hearts off the park, and knowing some of our, up their own arse players, they probably thought the league was in the bag after that game.

Goldson was all over the place, he played the attacker on side loads in the first half, the one that jumps out at me was the chance in the first 45 seconds, watch it again Goldson plays RC onside.
I don’t know if that yard of pace is just gone and he’s struggling to adjust his game, I do know that in my opinion he needs to find a new club next season if we’re serious about trying to win the league.

TT - Worse than a pub team and 100% Correct RTR - that was the last game we played for full 90mins and our team currently has too many overpaid "In their own mind Superstars" - Lunny asking for more money and longer contract? -he needs shown the door with at least half a dozen others and hungry players brought in who are not Billy Big Heids- Winning comes from within and many of our so called players lack that spirit - end of.

Dado no matter what we cannot go into a new season without upgrading both ch positions and I think PC will do that.

I agree Bar there’s every chance he won’t want away, if he sits on the bench for the next two seasons it will be frustrating but as long as he’s not playing we’ll be stronger.

My opinion, Goldson has always been a liability, How he has kept his place in the team all this time is beyond belief, Maybe he’s the teachers pet, Yes he’s had the ODD good game But his overall play has been piss poor, Defender he’s not, Just like his Chuckle Brother, Hard hat already on for the incoming. ???????????.

Like most fans I’m a fan of Clement. However, that’s two weeks in the trot that in my opinion he has picked the wrong team. We are all aware of the need to bring players back after injuries, however, I would rather we played the same team more than once and then when the game is won introduce the recovering. Midfield against Celtic missing in action, Lundstrum/ Lawrence, again this weekend Lundstrum/ Dowell. Forwards to far apart, needed drive and energy e. g Sterling playing on the right side and Sima on the left. Silva offers nothing. In short STOP ROTATING the team as much!

The Motherwell defeat was the start of this slide. all the hard work of clawing back the 7point deficit has seemingly been in vain. huge summer ahead. Clement needs to axe senior players for our next game. Goldson would be top of my list.
