Is there a report on yesterdays bounce match anywhere online? Only thing I can find is a Kenny miller tribute by the Daily R? One of the pathetic mention jack being sent off? Can't find anything anywhere?

briangersfan

1.) 08 Oct 2017 10:53:51
I would like to know if it was a full strength team.

2.) 08 Oct 2017 10:59:28
It doesn't matter if it was a full team. bcos the players mentality would b totally dif from a real game. sometimes i think people take pleasure when we have a bad game and can't wait to stick the boot in!

3.) 08 Oct 2017 11:13:17
I would be shocked if it was anything but a strong team. Pedro likes to play his strongest team available regardless of the opposition. It gives them the ability to improve on all aspects of play during these games. Defense i think was the topic of choice during yesterdays game. 3-3 not good.

4.) 08 Oct 2017 11:22:57
Well delboy it doesn't paint a good picture if it was a full strength team, I can't believe you just said it doesn't matter if it was a full team because the players would be mentally different from a real game. that's another pathetic excuse to add to the growing list of pathetic excuses. What a load of single fish.

5.) 08 Oct 2017 12:05:23
OK going back to the question? Anywhere?

6.) 08 Oct 2017 12:06:57
Well said coldo. These games are an opportunity to get clean sheets and big scorelines. Improving your confidence as a side and as individual players. To say that the mentality differs maybe true, an if it is evident in some of our players then get rid of them. We need to be blasting teams such as Morton regardless of it being a bounce game. To concede 3 is shameful.

7.) 08 Oct 2017 12:27:48
Can't find anything brian. Big cliff It beggars belief that some people go out their way to make pathetic excuses to excuse the poor standards that are being served up to us. I might moan but at least my judgement is not tainted by the blue specs. I expect much better that what we have seen already and you better believe that I will let all know when the standards are below par. The club and team can't move forward if we keep putting an arm around them and saying there there, tough love never did anyone any harm infact tough love wil make a man out of a boy. The pathetic excuses are embarressing to the traditions of our club.

8.) 08 Oct 2017 13:04:43
I agree with what you are saying Colin but I wear blue tinted specs and won't take them off look we are all singing from the same hmyn book we all want an improvement we all want success we may just have to wait unfortunately. One things for sure the press are far more critical than any of us on here but had nothing to say about the game yesterday if they could get the grubby hands on anything they would have that is for sure so I am not to concerned but all I want to know is how our youngsters faired?

9.) 08 Oct 2017 13:13:35
Brian mate if there was anything positive about yesterday there would be plenty of broadcasting about it. The only thing that i have read about yesterday states that Pedro had been working all week on defensive tactics for this glamour friendly. We conceded 3 against Morton. Jack was sent off again and Miller Scored from the bench. Nothing about who else scored, did we go 3 nil up, did Jack get two yellows or a straight red, who played Nothing more can i find.

10.) 08 Oct 2017 13:23:40
We do all want the same thing brian, but white can't be black just because someone wears blue specs. I understand that we have to be patient but when a lack of progress is evident then this leads to people becoming impatient especially when other people try and sugar coat it. Now back to the game yesterday if we had a full team with 3 younger players making appearances then a 3-3 draw is a very poor result against a mid table 1st div side. On the other hand if it was a team full of youngsters then we could be raving about how well they done.

11.) 08 Oct 2017 13:40:28
Big cliff where did you see that jack was sent off that is part of what I am trying to find out well when we lost to St Johnstone in a bounce natch the papers were all over it that's for sure sorry cliff but I konestly believe if there was anything the press could have milked from yesterday the most definitely would have! Not saying I'm happy with the score but get a bit pee'd off at our clubs medi a for not reporting anything and they are not great regarding the development team but are improving slightly

12.) 08 Oct 2017 14:50:15
Dhimalloy said that jack got sent off but he also claims that he is not obsessed. So take from that what you will.

13.) 08 Oct 2017 15:32:35
Unfortunately Brian it was on one of there Blogs that i seen it as the main story was not concentrating on the result. It was concentrating on the fact that Miller had scored coming off the bench and that Jack being sent off again hadnt even hit the papers as if it had been Scott Brown the media would have been all over it. Regardless of the importance of the game, the fans are extremely interested in how the team got on. No coverage at all is pretty poor.

14.) 08 Oct 2017 15:46:05
on Follow Follow they are saying that it was a mix of starting 11, bench and youngsters playing. Plenty of substitutions. Miller saved our blushes with an equaliser. Holt and Dalcio scored the other goals and Jack silly lazy challenges. i'm only going by comments. Still nothing verified. There was also a comment that said we actually won 4-1. Mental that in this day and age you can't even get the rangers website to give an overview of a rangers match.

15.) 08 Oct 2017 15:51:59
A kenny miller tribute? What's that meant to mean?

16.) 08 Oct 2017 15:24:50
Coldo,

I have read a few of your posts and the negativity that comes from you is beyond a joke to be fair.
I ain’t pedros biggest fan, but will get behind while he is still rangers manager.
Fans like you want instant success and that isn’t going to happen period no matter who is the manager and to be that’s not opinion that’s fact.

Pedro is trying to build something you can’t build something in one transfer window.
Reel yer head in and support the club and manager.

17.) 08 Oct 2017 15:27:54
That game yesterday doesn’t matter one bit can't believe people are even debating it on here.

Did we lose points in the league from it?
Did we get put out of cup comp for it?

No we didn’t, it was a closed doors game.

18.) 08 Oct 2017 16:34:46
Gannet10 where you one of the ones singing about the magic hat at this stage of last season? When we were 2nd? We can see no change in what was unacceptable towards the end of last season. Pedro was a big risk and we have backed him with big money. When will the penny drop. Its not about instant success its about progression. Which i for one have seen none. Apart from growing debt again.

19.) 08 Oct 2017 17:17:54
Gannet, if you read my posts as you say then you would have known that I have said that I know we need to be patient but there is no sign of progress. So how you get instant success from that is beyond me. So instead of bumping your gums about something you clearly know nothing about I suggest you reel your head in and away and do your homework.

20.) 08 Oct 2017 20:15:05
Guys for goodness sake get a grip. You sound like a gaggle of tight brides.

21.) 08 Oct 2017 22:30:22
I read that Jack was sent off for swearing at the ref and it sounds like a lot of the reserves and youth got a kick in the bounce game.

22.) 09 Oct 2017 16:07:56
Big cliff singing about a magic hats now that’s laughable.
Coldo you are wanting instant success that’s why you want rid of the manage.

I don’t need to do homework last time I don’t that was a lot of years ago I know your type you are what’s wrong with rangers fans these days.

23.) 09 Oct 2017 16:15:33
Now we know that the 'game' was a training exercise of three 35 minute periods during which we fielded three sets of players including an all-teenage back four with a 15 year old centre half, will any of the moaners, naysayers and secret mhankies be apologising for their ridiculous comments?

24.) 09 Oct 2017 21:41:30
No gannet read the posts, I said there has been no progress that's why I want shot of ped. If you had done your homework you'd know that's the point I have been making. So that's the 2nd time I have had to tell you this. I suggest you go and do your homework because you are going to make yourself sound dafter than you already have done if I have to tell you a 3rd time.

25.) 09 Oct 2017 21:49:58
Seriously bigsam, that's the point we were making. We wanted to know if it was a full team as it would have been a bad result if it was but if it was a young team then we would be saying how well they done. Infact if you read the previous posts you'd know this. Weren't you throwing about the word 'illiterate' the other day? Pot kettle and all that.

26.) 12 Oct 2017 21:06:19
Illiterate is obviously a word you don't know the meaning of. "How well they done", now that's illiterate.

27 Jan 2017 17:30:56
jan alnwick signing from port vale 250,000 thought we were skint?

briangersfan

1.) 27 Jan 2017 17:37:16
We will get money from gilks going to wigan

2.) 27 Jan 2017 17:48:48
Has anyone from the board or management team actually said we have no money?! I can't recall anyone saying this.

Correct me if I'm wrong

3.) 27 Jan 2017 18:07:39
Correct, King said at AGM in November funds available to be invested wisely to enhance the football team.

4.) 27 Jan 2017 18:43:44
we have money but no money money if ye get me lads.

couple of hundred thousand here and there low risk with decent potential profit.

we won't be spending 2 million on a player anyway that's for sure.

5.) 27 Jan 2017 18:48:10
It's 1 in 1 out cause money is tight

6.) 27 Jan 2017 19:17:47
Deal still to be finalised but presume cash out for Giles will cover at least

7.) 27 Jan 2017 20:00:29
We have to release a player to get the boy from west ham apparently. surely we ain't that skint.

8.) 27 Jan 2017 20:10:46
Every time we are linked with a player there's always a negative or how a transfer won't happen because "were skint".

It's actually always the same rubbish being spouted by "fans". I'm sure if Mr King says there is some money available then there's money available.

9.) 27 Jan 2017 21:50:10
it would seem that port vale are not very happy with the way we plan to pay the 250k for alnwick. seems we are penny pinching again and are embarasing the club once more.

10.) 27 Jan 2017 22:08:06
Port Vale say terms of payment of offer not acceptable to them.

11.) 27 Jan 2017 22:12:23
I believe he said 30 million was available 😆

12.) 28 Jan 2017 09:13:32
Why would Rangers want to hand Port Vale £250K straight up?
League One team being hit with a major tax bill at this time of year?
Get real, majority of deals are done in instalments.

Hi ed if you get a chance kamberi or docherty? Thank you!

briangersfan

{Ed033's Note -

kamberi or docherty poll

1.) 29 Feb 2020 08:12:16
I like docherty but fear he ll never get a good run in our side to prove himself, Hibs will no doubt get him and sell him for millions where as we can’t seem to sell our players on at all. Kamberi if he can keep doing what he has been doing would be a good signing and type of striker we need as an option. only reason I chose kamberi.

2.) 29 Feb 2020 09:54:18
Docherty certainly good enough for place in our current squad. Intact believe coming on for Davis and deputising for Jack, we would not have dropped those 10 points since January.

3.) 29 Feb 2020 12:07:12
Thats delusional bankie😂👍.

4.) 29 Feb 2020 12:40:48
We should have enough to buy Kamberi and keep Docherty. People saying he’s not good enough, he’s Barry had a chance. Not sure when we will learn our lesson as a club in letting Scottish talent get away from us. If he goes to Hibs he’ll end up making them money after a season as someone down south will buy him. Remember the age of Davis, Arfield is in his 30s too. There have been games this season that would have been more suited to Docherty than Kamara.

5.) 29 Feb 2020 14:42:54
Docherty always makes himself available for a pass and very seldom gives the ball away. In addition to that he scores goals on a very regular basis. Will do very well in England when he leaves.

morning all
just reading and hearing in the tabloids and various media outlets an apology to their readers and listeners regarding all their pundits and writers getting their predictions totally wrong for the europa league. !

briangersfan

27 Feb 2020 12:41:27
hi bears
i read something somewhere this morning regarding liewell backing a plan to judge teams over the past 10 years in europe and not how the
collective teams from a country perform? not sure i like that? anyone have anymore info or thoughts on that? copenhagen was mentioned as well? sorry i don't have anymore on it .

briangersfan

1.) 27 Feb 2020 13:37:01
Should this be the case Peter Lawell will have done his homework and Celtic will benefit from it. If they weren't going to benefit, he would not mention it.

2.) 27 Feb 2020 14:14:49
Whether the mhanks benefit or no Bluetoon Lawell will make sure he does.
Have you seen how much cash the greedy git creams off them.

Mind you the more he gets the less lenny will get for transfers.

3.) 27 Feb 2020 14:39:39
Haven't heard about this but I would rather be judged by our results than all Scottish clubs. What have the likes of Aberdeen and Motherwell and Kilmarnock did for our co-efficient in recent years and why should we be judged by their results?

4.) 27 Feb 2020 14:51:35
Would be a good thing for us as well as them, judged on your own merits not dragged down by the diddy teams.

5.) 27 Feb 2020 15:30:06
Lewell has no chance! I know what he is trying to do He can p aff with that one!

6.) 27 Feb 2020 15:34:40
You can stick the co-efficient where the sun doesn’t shine!
I would much rather bask in Gerrard’s achievements with Rangers these last 2 seasons in Europe than continually get 2nd chances as a CL failure. 👍.

7.) 27 Feb 2020 15:35:08
not sure lads as the last 10 years we haven't been in europe but i don't have a full understanding of what this is about? are we not being judged by our results now i think we are in a way? so if and a big if a non top team wins their league they don't have any record for the past 10 years so are penalized before they start? reeks a bit to me?

8.) 27 Feb 2020 15:38:55
geronimo we would not be judged by their results and have not been. rangers being back in europe has raised the coefficeint tremendously and we will benefit from this. so i don't see why this should change?

9.) 27 Feb 2020 15:48:49
Swagman, for once I tend to agree with you. These things, if they do get accepted, will take 2/ 3/ 4 years to come into force, which will give us time to catch up. We only have 3 yrs worth at the moment. Until the meat is put on the bone, nobody can say whether it will be good or bad.

As Geronomo says why should the tail i. e. Aberdeen, Motherwell, and Killie etc, have a say in where we qualify.

10.) 27 Feb 2020 17:19:43
Swagman are you actually admitting that there has been merits?

11.) 27 Feb 2020 19:36:22
Actually Brian gers we have 2 decent years at the moment and they are talking about 10 year history, so if it’s in 3 years time we will have a 5 year record against a proposed ten year record, bad idea for us, think about it 🤔.

27 Feb 2020 06:58:56
hi fellow bears
just a quick one that i would like to point out regarding our amazing run in europe this season!
these are the countries we have played
luxembourg team 2nd in their league
danish team top of the league
polish team top of their league
portugal teams 2nd 3rd respectively
swiss team joint top
dutch 3rd in league!
now what do you think about mr gerrards achievements? nothing short f brilliant in my opinion.

briangersfan

1.) 27 Feb 2020 07:40:40
Great in Europe but awful in spfl.

2.) 27 Feb 2020 08:43:40
If we play like that in every match we will win the league but we need to avoid injuries to key players we have no real cover for and keep Morelos on the pitch for 90 minutes. Maybe a big if.

3.) 27 Feb 2020 09:33:05
In Europe he's done amazing tactically. We are much better when teams actually try and play football and not park a truck in front of goal. that's why we dominated last night and smashed Celtic about the place in December. think we'll win 1-0 against hearts but it'll be back to the same struggles all because hearts will set up camp.
Still think kamberi should be our new no1 striker. Purely based on both his and Morelos' performances the last couple games.

Wheres the kent haters now?

Gerrard spot on last night. can we win this europa cup. mind says no. Heart says yes. After tonight we'll see who's left. definitely Copenhagen anyway.

4.) 27 Feb 2020 11:43:54
Iggle, For me it has to be Morelos. Secondly, Hearts try to play the same way as Braga with the high line.

5.) 27 Feb 2020 11:55:46
Kamberi is unfortunately cup tied so Morelos will get a chance to recover his form, I hope he takes it and we kick on but if not then I’m happy to go with kamberi as No1.

27 Feb 2020 06:46:19
morning bears! well what a result! please let's not underestimate what we have achieved over the last 2 seasons . up until last night there were 4 portuguese teams in the europa league . more than any other country so that just shows the level of football there! i think after last nights win that should guarantee champions league football next season? and an extra scottish team in european competition . this is because of our club not anyone else! yes celtic are there too but without our achievements over the last 2 seasons scottish football would have suffered even more! (as it has done for many years) i would love to think that we will get some recognition and respect from the powers that be, the media and clubs alike, as the financial rewards start to flood in! but i doubt it . in other countries they really look after their clubs with moving fixtures giving supporters time off work . etc i really do believe the sfa and the like have to be taken apart and rebuilt they are poisoned and rotten to the core some say they are clueless? i disagree i think they know exactly what they have done and are doing! once again well done to the famous and respected (in europe) rangers football club!

briangersfan

1.) 27 Feb 2020 07:38:07
The extra team in the champions league will be for season 21/ 22.

2.) 27 Feb 2020 07:50:51
2 years time 👍.

3.) 27 Feb 2020 11:32:05
Briangersfan, i said the same mate, also saw a guy on the new on friday, saying the exact same, quite a long talk he had about dismanteling the s. f. a.

sgl, many on here seem to believe what the poisoned media and the dark lot write about us! its their choice to believe what they want. many of our lot would have us dead and buried over the last few years but as of today we are still here still in the league still in the cup and still in europe .
