Gerrard the main name in the frame with loads of other guys involved. Who do we think would be an asset in terms of joining the staff if he does get appointed?
Names I've heard, what do we think of credibility and ability of each of these?

Only my opinion though I'd really like McCann to be involved in some capacity I think his analysis of games are top drawer and he would be a great member of our staff going forward.
Having Gerrard with a mix of some of these guys would get the fans onside and these are guys who can offer something not just ex Gers.

We already have a GK coach that's doing a great job with Butland this season. Why would we replace him?

Wasn't Thomson already a youth coach at us and left? Why would he come back in the same role? If it's to be part of Gerrard's first team coaching staff then I could maybe see it.

Fifty, the current goal keeping coach under Martin (sorry, can't remember his name) is still at the club.
