Oh Cavanagh was there tonight
That will now be interesting?
I thought 20 games. tried to be open to positive thinking early in game but really fell away
I reckon Martin is away by Monday latest. he's used up his life lines.
Martin I think will be sacked after weekend no matter what the result is think tonight will be the straw that broke the camels back
my only worry is who they go for next.
Have a horrible feeling it won't be anyone we expect?

Thewell, Stewart, Purdie and Martin all need looked at these four have led us in 10 weeks to 11th in the League, out the Champions League and beaten by a poor team in the Europa who are 10th in the Belgian League. Some of the player recruitment is bewildering.

According to some he's got the boards backing, our problems are much more rooted than Russell Martin and may potentially lie at board room level.
Think the new owners just don't get the club and what it means to so many people.
Right now we are an embarrassment and a laughing stock.
I hate sounding so negative but that's the reality.
25 Sep 2025 22:16:39
Can't see it stig unfortunately think he's here for a while.
25 Sep 2025 22:19:06
I genuinely feel so sorry for so many players and staff at the club.
25 Sep 2025 22:23:09
Thestingo i worry about that too.
25 Sep 2025 22:23:33
Really think it should be a back to basics type manager.
25 Sep 2025 22:29:28
Still can't see it stingo, so wanting too be wrong mate.
25 Sep 2025 22:29:36
I'm done. Had tiks for tonight and didn't go. I won't be back at Ibrox till he's gone. Anger has turned to sadness and I've never felt like this about my boyhood club. RM is a complete fraud of a manager and for the life of me can't understand how he got the job in the first place. Very worrying times.
25 Sep 2025 22:32:49
Needs to go now.
25 Sep 2025 22:39:57
The fact you said players and staff ehl and not fans to me speaks volumes about what the internal view of the management is.
25 Sep 2025 22:46:29
EHL do you feel sorry for them due to Russell Martin and how he is/ conducts himself or is it because of the state the club is in and how the new owners and their CEO's operate? What's your thoughts on the 49ers and how they are going about their business?
25 Sep 2025 22:47:31
Totally agree with you. It's not a nice watch, there is no excitement it's anti-football. Not fancied RM from day one but given him a chance. The team has constantly went backwards since he has became manager and I have not seen any indication of progress. Definitely think it is time for him to go now!
25 Sep 2025 23:19:05
I don't feel sorry for them EHL, taking tactics aside, where is the effort, will to win, playing for the jersey? All the things that should be a given for this club,
These are highly paid young men, make no mistake the style of football is dreadful but the way the players are going through the motions really concerns me,
Is that all down to the manager? Is there a lack of effort there because they are disalutioned with him, pressure! If it's the latter then you could argue their will always be pressure playing for us, or some of these players are not as good as a lot of fans think they are, think I only saw one player sprint once and that was Antman to stop an attack in the 2nd half.
Watching that tonight it's a catalogue of things that have went wrong.
