Davie, as per Stewarts comments - they are contingency plans.
So would imagine talks would continue periodically with those managers and any others who become available.

They are doing the same as any contingency and waiting on a club to formally approach them.

There isn't a club in the world which doesn't have a contingency plan in place should there manager leave. We have done the intelligent thing for once and should have a replacement when/ if Martin does the right thing and leaves the club.

Nothing will happen anytime soon. RM has a stay of execution just now after Saturdays result. How long for who knows. Don t get me wrong if we go on an amazing run I will gladly hold up my hands and admit I was wrong but one swallow does not make a summer. I will reassess my views in a few weeks.

In other words beating hibs was the worst thing that could happen to us, it means we're stuck with Martin for at least another 5 or 6 games, round n round n circles we go until he's sacked, which means the season is basically a write off because the longer into the season you go, the less chance of a new manager having a remote chance of salvaging the season, we were and still are the worst run club in the world.

Lithium - how can you say that?
We progressed to a cup semi-final and an opportunity to put a serious dent on our biggest rivals season.
We finally seen a fully functioning midfield three.
Our new Striker got a much needed first goal.
We finally kept a clean sheet.
Most of all, Martin showed signs of adapting.
If anything the weekend was breath of fresh air.

No Lithium i would not say 5 or 6 games i would say that just now Martin is still one bad result away from getting the sack, if we don't win Thursday especially if we don't beat Livi away i would say he would be right back where he was. One game where I feel the disallowed goal was lucky and got us playing with a bit more fire. I do however believe that we are stuck with Martin until Xmas at least and see this boardroom sticking with him until then to see if he can turn it around. For Rangers i really hope so and if Martin goes off and gets 8 / 9 results and beats Celtic in the semi well i will admit i was wrong and the Board called it right but i think we have a dud and time will show he was.

Agree lithium. Winning was the worst thing that could happen. Celtic will skelp us and as the banner says it's delaying the inevitable. He will be sacked before the seasons out and there is zero chance he'll win any silver this season.

Any win right now is a breath of fresh air.
The result has prolonged what I consider to be inevitable, I see no way that RM can survive long term at Rangers, however the win was very welcome and it gives us the chance to dent our biggest opponent's plans to win everything yet again.

Ye my star. I think we got Celtic at a good time and as bad as they were we didn't even register a shot. They're still undefeated and haven't conceded a goal yet so ye I'm sticking with skelp us considering we conceded 2 against Alloa. Saturday papered over the cracks. Martin is a joke and will be sacked before the season is out so in my opinion it's daft to keep him.

Think we have the players to give Celtic a doing but a manager that's not up for the job, getting the right man in and with the support behind the team we could achieve things, very difficult in the league to claw back points but enjoying going to ibrox again would be a step in the right direction, we can but hope.

The win v hibs has just bought him a wee bit of time. Yes were in the semis against them BUT still 2nd bottom of the league (maybe worse depending on how results go) so i still suspect no matter the result on Thurs we drop anymore points in the league in very near future i can see him going.

I think we should play Raskin deeper in the midfield spraying passes and Dio and Aasgard playing as the the 2 centre mids in front.

EHL we beat Alloa and Hibs to get there. Hardly word beating competition and neither match was a walk in the park. If Boyle's goal wasn't disallowed, we lost that game.
RM is a danger to the very fabric of the club. and our signing barring Gassama, Aasgaard and Miovski have been bizarre to awful (so far)
