4 lads say Raskin only guilty of questioning RM and his tactics. If he questioned Walter or souness or even pc yes they may have dealt with it differently but would the fans have been so against any of those gaffers? Never and the only way this ends is with Rm out of a job.

Think PC, Ferguson and co have all said or eluded to him being the same and not following instructions but all said he does it to understand and improve. Can't remember who said it but this is what Belgian and the Dutch are like and they'll do it when told why they should do it or what it'll will achieve. RM thinks knows best, he'd probably try to coach Messi out of being Messi.

Martin wants players to communicate through the leadership group.

Think it was Neil McCann that said he and Raskin had heated words last season, that Raskin wanted to be involved in everything in the midfield. Once Ferguson and McCann analysed videos with Raskin he then seen reason, and in my eyes Raskin had a great end to the season.

If true, Raskin needs to learn the hard way.
He'll do as he's damn well told, or he can pack his bags.
If Nico wants regular game time ahead of the World Cup, he can both extend his contract so that we can maximise sell on value and he must knuckle down.
He doesn't get to dictate anything.
People may not like RM, but he is the gaffer right now. That's the end of it.

Folk going OTT over this whole Martin/ Raskin and Tav leadership thing.
Tav all of a sudden is the best right back after being vilfied by the majority this time last year. Btw, imo, he still isn't good enough.
Raskin, as good as he was last season, has not hit that form this season and its worth noting has previous at Standard for his behaviour.
Martin has shown nothing (that makes many of us agree that he is not the man for the job) and has won nothing of note in his managerial career BUT is the Manager who should never be undermined regardless of what we think. Martin will ultimately sink or swim by his decisions and, imo, is a dead man walking right now. He is under severe pressure.

I find it ridiculous that Dowell is part of the leadership group. This guy has done next to nothing for us on the pitch.
I also find it ridiculous that Rothwell is part of the leadership group. He's barely in the door five minutes.

Most of the best managers in the world love when players challenge their tactics because it'll allow it to be further explained and get the best out them.
Martins ego is thankfully clearly fractured which means he'll spiral and be gone in a month or 2.

Yes Tav was a great right back for us not denying that, but when the referee pulls the captain's in for a discussion, he very rarely has anything to say, as I say watch the last old firm McGregor argues with the ref while Tav does as he's told. Stand up for your team mates even if they have committed a dodgy foul.

Leadership group according to Martin who are there to welcome and help new players integrate into the squad are Butland, Tav, Souttar and Dowell. that as in DR and other papers on 15 July when the team were at St Georges. Rothwell signed on 2 July but may well have been added after that press story.

Personally I think having someone having the balls to question our tactics? and player positions, after the nightmare start we've had, is a good thing and wonder why the 'leadership group'havent done so?

I just watched the training clip from yesterday, only a couple of minutes long but you be see the players are getting on well, smiles on the faces and a joke or 2, go watch it on YouTube, I seen a big difference even from the ones at the start of pre season or right through pre season, go watch troops and I'd like your opinion after watching it, certainly doesn't look an unhappy camp to me, watch the Aasgaard interview as well he talks well.

I think Raskin has all the qualities and attributes to be an outstanding captain and leader. He reminds me of Barry and how he fought against Le Guen. Raskin is exactly the type of character we need, someone with a backbone and a pair not afraid to speak up.

You don't argue with the Ref, you raise a point so the next time if similar happens, the ref understands i. e he books your player for a foul but doesn't book there player for the same foul, ask him why?

Terry Butcher, Richard Gough, Barry Ferguson rarely argued and could concentrate on the game but the referee knew they wouldn't take no crap or bad ref decisions. Its maybe just me but I like my captains to be vocal maybe the game has changed, mental health and all that.

Love him or loathe him Tav has obviously earned the right to be in the leadership group and Butland is a top pro. who has been at Ibrox a couple of seasons now but Dowell, who has hardly kicked a ball for us in all the time he has been here and Rothwell who is just in the door and knows nothing about what it takes to play for Rangers, no wonder Raskin doesn't respect them as leaders. More likely they are yes men to our incompetent manager . I assume Souttar is in there too having been made stand in captain and maybe Raskin feels that he has more right to be in that group than either Dowell or Rothwell.
