Morocco qualify for World Cup as Igamane scores.
06 Sep 2025 11:47:09
Scored and assisted after coming on as a sub. I really have a feeling that Igamane could go far as long as he doesn't do a Morelos and get too big for his boots. Shame the way he acted with us, think if he'd stayed another year his value would have soared next summer. Do you know if there was a sell on in the deal John?
06 Sep 2025 11:54:52
Unless he makes Rangers a tidy sell on profit in the future, I couldn't care what he does after the way he acted whilst still being employed and paid by Rangers. Refusing to play is disgraceful. Dessers probably knew he was leaving, but he didn't refuse to play against Celtic and I don't belive that he was was injured for a second.
06 Sep 2025 12:15:10
Chuffed for him.
Really hope he kicks on and fulfills his potential.
I know my opinion differs from most, but he's a great lad and thought Martin treated him disgracefully.
06 Sep 2025 12:15:41
Igamane will make the top of the game, mean top club in top league.
06 Sep 2025 12:24:57
I can't hold any grudges against Igamane. The boy knew his worth and knew we were a car crash under Russel Martin, we nearly lost Raskin as well due to Martin. He didn't want to risk injury and I get it. I would have done the exact same and quickly got out if I was in his shoes. I hope he does well and makes us a tidy profit.
06 Sep 2025 12:28:24
Gers I understand some small addons apparently not much and we have a sell on clause.
06 Sep 2025 12:29:48
Sir struth I do care because we could get a tidy sum.
Rangers knew at Xmas he wanted out,
06 Sep 2025 12:53:08
I suspect Igamanes agent was filling his ears with big promises. He's only young and ambitious so got his head turned.
06 Sep 2025 13:20:06
Ehl if iga wanted out by Xmas before RM was even here in what way did he treat him disgracefully?
06 Sep 2025 13:21:49
Martin should have built the team around Raskin with Igamane the focal point of the attack.
Instead the club chose an unhealthy business model.
Buy Igamane for £2 million.
Invent a buy out clause figure and sell - £10 million.
And buy a replacement for £8 million.
Which means we made the grand scheme of hee haw.
06 Sep 2025 13:50:35
Nonsense of course we made £ 8million on Igamane which we reinvested in Chermiti a player we probably wouldn't have got if we hadn't sold Iggy . Whether Chermiti is worth it or will be sold on for more who knows but it doesn't mean we didn't make a good profit on Iggy.
I reckon the sell on could net us a good sum too .
Watching Hojland come on for Denmark last night and plod around the thought struck me that he's a £57 million pound player and I would rather have Igamane than him in my team.
06 Sep 2025 14:09:16
Don't think we'll ever get the full story. Wish him all the best to be honest. Shame how it ended but we could and should have ended up with more from him. Low release clause and high sell on have let us down. Hope your right John and the clause does include good money in the future tho don't think that's normally the case.
06 Sep 2025 14:28:24
All the Rangers managers for some reason treated Igamane poorly ie clement Ferguson Martin.
I suspect his attitude was not the best as far as they were concerned
Mr ph how did they invent a buy out clause. I said last winter his fee was 12 million.
06 Sep 2025 14:33:22
Not quite correct MPH, in your scenario we started with nothing and after our net spend of hee haw we have a sell on fed for hamza and a young striker worth £8m as it stands.
06 Sep 2025 14:39:25
OWS, I'm not sure I understand your comment.
Are you saying that because Iga had ambitions beyond the Scottish League, then Martin was within his rights to be See You Next Tuesday?
06 Sep 2025 16:01:07
So he wanted out at Xmas, question marks over attitude and acted like a petulant kid when we were crying out for a goal. Yeah Martin you are a complete tosspot.
06 Sep 2025 16:19:54
Ehl i had a suspicion that igamane was not actually injured at start of season and because of his stalky phyisical apprarance martin branded him unfit
Kept saying he wasn't fit without anything specific mentioned then when we got injury igamane was miraculously fit again
Am i in the ballpark there or was it something else.
06 Sep 2025 16:22:44
Just thought martin saying
Hes injured
Hes injured
Hes injures
Hes injured
All interviews
Then he's needed
Martin. he's fit
Then igamane . i'm injured
Seemed a bit sus.
06 Sep 2025 16:24:54
Also i don't believe that we would have put in a 10.5million escape clause in a players deal that didn't come from big backround and a player that cost us a wee bit with a hefty sell on % in there for his club too just didn't strike me as something smart.
06 Sep 2025 16:33:30
And we got £10 million for him.
All summer everyone and there dog said it was £15 million or he wouldn't be sold.
The rubbish hits the fan over his conduct and suddenly Lille have met his "buyout" clause. I'm calling BS.
06 Sep 2025 16:35:49
Also the so called clause jaut can't see it as it would mean Rangers inly made around 4million euros on igamane after taxes sell ons minus original fee and that's not me taking into account other costs just doesn't sit well with me and think we will see this boy go for mega money in a years time if he's sold.
06 Sep 2025 16:37:52
That's a not very good business model, WSL.
If it was me, I'd have taken the £8 million and went out and spent £2-4 million on another with potential.
Not used the lot in a market we shouldn't be buying in.
06 Sep 2025 16:41:27
Mr potato head 20% tax on sale and 30% fee to old club apparently too so made way less than that.
06 Sep 2025 17:02:59
Yellowstone - everyone is entitled to firm their own opinion.
Based on the what I witnessed, and what the player told me, I'm pretty comfortable with my assessment.
06 Sep 2025 18:24:40
Would have been the sensible way to do it mph, time will tell mate.
