Would anyone care to share the 3 managers we have allegedly been speaking to in the background? Instead of him noting at it would someone like to name them?
Any concrete know?
26 Sep 2025 02:18:39
People won't put up names because of arseholes who doubt and question everything on here, regardless of who it is, we need change now.
26 Sep 2025 05:34:35
I would hazard a guess on sean dyche, danny rohl and marco rose although like many now on here i'd have steven gerrard back in a heartbeat ?Too big a job and way too much pressure for danny rohl i feel ?.

I would take bloody emdy over this arrogant twit, the way he had us playing at the back is suicide,
How we are so easily carved open is dia
As I said his win papered over a few cracks n at that it was wet toilet paper
The players are there just need a better manager to get a better tune out them n get ibrox rocking again
Anybody that thinks this guys turning it round are watching something else
Guy would struggle to get a tune out the radio
Surly to heavens his time is up
Why oh WHY are we letting him do more damage, anybody would have these guys playing better
WORST N I MEAN WORST Rangers manager in our HISTORY.

The three names heard were Jose, Rohl and Schmidt.
26 Sep 2025 08:03:15
1.Marco Rose
2. Danny Rohl
3. Steven Gerrard
That is the 3 I have heard in that order.
There has also been a few other non British managers been mentioned in dispaches.
26 Sep 2025 08:09:17
None of the 3 names fill me with confidence.
26 Sep 2025 08:12:02
Bluedreamer81 I agree with McCoist on our signings the recruitment has been shocking and martin can take telwell with him for us to spend over 25m and be WORSE is staggering and the recruitment will set us back another season.
26 Sep 2025 08:43:48
Id take the shift manager at my local aldis right now over this c**t.
26 Sep 2025 08:55:14
OWS,
Sadly l have to disagree with you my friend, l think he has set us back much more than 1 season bud.
26 Sep 2025 09:41:31
Bazzaboi. Who do you want that would fill you with confidence? We're not getting a new manager/ head coach that's won multiple titles elsewhere.
26 Sep 2025 09:42:58
I wanted Rose the first time, so i'd take him. Although in fairness, we've been getting carved open with the quick ball over the top for years so it's hard to blame that squarely on RM.

Jeezo, that performance and style of play was night and day from when we played Dortmund a few seasons ago. Boring and laboured. I'm maybe guilty of being reactionary but right now Gerard looks an appealing option; the team certainly wouldn't be so passive under him.
26 Sep 2025 10:13:55
Rose would probaly get us going in europe again with confidence but no idea how domestic football would look like under him
Rohl no chance not experienced enough
Roger schmeidt would want his own rebuild again we need someone in to man manage tactics with the players we have
If that is a mcinnes, robinson, dyche a back to basics manager
Also there is very good assisants out there with big clubs that could help us coach these players
Choice would be lampard.

Muscat out of contract end of year. The way it looks they are keeping Martin for the foreseeable. Would he come after been overlooked for Clement? Honestly don't know if Muscat is the answer either.
26 Sep 2025 10:28:43
Thanks Ehl and Asathor for both giving us the names outright and not playing god with them.
They m sure that everyone apreciated that.
For me Steven Gerrard is the most sensible of all those names.
I think the squad we have now is of a very good standard and it's simply the tactics beating us.
Give Gerrard that squad and we'd be winning games in no time and I really do believe thatZ.
26 Sep 2025 12:09:25
It's no bother Stevie my friend.
I am unequivocal in my belief that Marco Rose would be the best choice.
26 Sep 2025 12:42:11
I agree Marco Rose has been my choice since Clement left. But I wouldn't be disappointed with either Schmidt or Terzic.
26 Sep 2025 13:00:58
With every game that passes it is getting more difficult for whoever takes over, not because of the league position but because of the effect it is having on the players. They look lost and dispirited and while a new manager might give them a lift, how long would it take to get them organised again and playing a recognisable system?
We keep saying that we have good players, but also recruitment has been poor, because of the number we have brought in - both statements can't be true. I was trying to think if I took over tomorrow what would my team be, based on what I have seen, so far.
It would include, Butland, Cornelius, Raskin and Gassama but after those four who else has really looked like a Rangers player this season? Too many young guys who are overawed and experienced players who have struggled.
26 Sep 2025 13:09:12
In my opinion, Steven Gerrard is the go to manager. We have a squad of young talented players who aren't handling the pressure of playing at Rangers. The whole squad looks unfit, uncoached and lacking in self belief. Imagine the reaction from the young players if SG returned.
Someone they know is one of the best. He'd get them fit. Man manage their expectations and what is expected of them. SG would also stand up to our current SD and CE for what's best for the club. Yes he left mid season but only cause the board wouldn't back him.
He hasn't done anything since leaving I know but he's a good fit at Rangers. Who knows what he would have achieved if he didn't leave? 56, 57?

Ger88 that post did give me a laugh mate ?.
26 Sep 2025 16:00:45
Stevie G has been spoken to since RM appointment.
26 Sep 2025 17:02:03
Stevie G New,
I posted the other day bud
Rohl, Terzic, Dyche and Gerrard
Rohl would be an absolute disaster.
