In defence of Borna meeting up with Russell.
When I was in Ibrox talking to Bomber Brown, he was telling me that Russel and his wife were at the Botanic gardens. And Russell is very approachable and loves to talk/ get views of all things football.
He told me a few more things, that I can't print on here (If any of you know Bomber. He wears his heart on his sleeve).
So Borna may have met Russell and had a chat about Rangers.

It's up to the individuals if they believe it or not but for me personally going by bornas previous posts I have no reason to doubt it. Appreciate the info from borna or any of the other guys who take the time to post what they are hearing. I take it for what it is, what these guys are hearing and I understand that things can change from these guys hearing things to them posting. Hope yous guys keep it going for us guys that don't hear much. Always appreciated.

Hi All, for what it's worth, I don't see why people would think someone is lying when they mention having a conversation with RM. He is after all a real life person, it's not as if he alleged he was speaking to Buz Lightyear.
On RM, while I want him to go, I would never dream of verbally or physically abusing him. His only "crime" is of thinking he is capable of being the manager of The Rangers.
If I ever meet him I would treat him with the utmost respect, as I would with anyone.

Have you met russell martin yourself John ?I've met him once and he is a nice, very approachable guy and before i met him i'd heard that about him in general ? Just hope he can turn things around and go on a winning run as no true Rangers supporter wants him to or should want him to fail, whether he was anyone's first choice to replace philippe clement permanently or not ?.

Just pointing out, RM is just the same as us all, only human. While I want change, I want all of us to act in a manner befitting the great club we support. No personal insults against RM or any others who view things differently.
The Rangers support is a "broad church", we all see things from a different view.
The one thing, I hope and believe, we all agree on, The Gers beat Genk later tonight (I'm not currently in the UK) Best wishes to you all, wherever you are, follow follow.

Not buying it. Not a Rangers Manager and never will be. Worse Rangers Manager i have seen. Nice guy that's great, enjoy catching up in the west end. Those guys finish last which is 2nd in our league if you are lucky.

In my work I've spoken to I think 7 club managers plus 1 interim manager and a couple of coaches, several tv pundits too, all normal guys and happy to talk, so why wouldn't Martin have a casual chat to someone, he seems a reasonable and decent guy.

I'm just an Auld guy who has watched The Rangers since 1964, would have been a few years earlier but my mother wouldn't let me go till she was sure I would be safe. My Grandfather and his Pals used to walk from Hamilton and back to see The Gers in the 1920's. That's my background, and I'm very proud of it. Love The Rangers till the day I depart this world.

My granda walked to Shawfield from Mossend to see a Benny Lynch fight, my uncle cycled to Tynecastle to watch Hearts and his pal did the same to watch Hibs . don't think it was a tandem, but I never asked .

See russell and his partner constantly in the west end. The only reason I haven't approached is because his kids were with him. Seen others approaching him and seems happy to talk, just not what I would do.
