Had a lively debate yesterday about hibs game. My mate said losing to hibs was a small price to pay if it meant Martin being sacked personally I can never want us to l9se any game especially 1 that maybe our best chance of silverware. What's everyone's else's thought?

Ive already been vocal about my views towards this kind of thing OWS.

Although I never want Rangers to lose a game, it is something that I could accept if it meant a means to an end. In this case, Hair Flick getting binned.

One Walter a must win, re silverware.

16 Sep 2025 09:20:16
Can never accept Rangers getting beat.
I would actually love for Martin to turn it around.
Unfortunately he just doesn't have it.
The players are good enough.
He's the issue.
Martin Out.

I've a strange feeling we are actually going to beat hibs and this will prolong our agony. Remember last time Cavanagh flew over, he changed it up, he will do the same again.

16 Sep 2025 09:23:27
Did it work against Hearts?

16 Sep 2025 09:31:59
Never ever ever want us to lose a game of football. Especially a cup game when the league is all but over already.

16 Sep 2025 09:34:06
Martin is the issue 100% and he must go now!

16 Sep 2025 09:36:43
Never ever want us to lose a game and think we may actually win it. even if Martin won every game from now until the end of the season he isn't going to change fan deep-seated opinion.

16 Sep 2025 09:40:24
Rangers 4 Hibs 1.
A Rangers fan wanting them to lose in a quarter final against Hibs ows, get yourself a new mate. (joking)

16 Sep 2025 09:51:56
Don't understand this line of thought.
I will continue to support / turn up / buy tickets
As RM will not keep me away.

16 Sep 2025 09:53:32
I'm surprised he's lasted this long.
Without doubt the worst Rangers manager I've ever seen.

16 Sep 2025 10:11:57
Cant believe anyone wants us to lose, no matter what we should be hoping and praying we win any game.

i actually think boycotting the game at the weekend will do the team and RM a favour, less noise from the boo'ing fans.

16 Sep 2025 10:25:32
Surely any decision on RM will be predicated by the Owners' remit for the season? If, say, he was charged with winning a cup and finishing second in the league, maybe they'll give him a bit of time to turn things round. However, if we lose against Hibs in the cup will that, coupled with the gap between us, Hearts and Celtic, be enough for them to sack RM?

16 Sep 2025 11:00:58
I agree with you john.

16 Sep 2025 11:25:31
Even if we beat Hibs he's gone anyway. Too much has happened and all it will take will be one dodgy half where we've conceded or couldn't score and it would be back to square one. I won't be at Ibrox on Saturday and not until he is away, but I never ever want us to lose a match.

16 Sep 2025 11:28:47
Never lose a game even if it keeps him in a job. If we beat Hibs I still want him gone.

16 Sep 2025 11:30:17
Still we ain't 2nd with Martin as manager.

16 Sep 2025 13:12:06
I agree Strom, we'll struggle to make top four if he stays.

16 Sep 2025 13:41:20
Martin remains manager where struggling for top 6 in this joke of a league.
