Team building exercise when we can't defend, create chances or score goals sounds like a great idea! Honestly couldn't make it up.
Absolutely embarrassing from the club and can't believe they thought this was a good idea after the start we have had.
15 Sep 2025 17:56:09
Hills, I was thinking likewise.
15 Sep 2025 18:25:37
You need a team to do a team building exercise, this lot and there leader are imposters.

Great insightful post boy blue, really hope the young lads like Gassama and aasgaard and Curtis are reading this, really inspirational and encouraging for them.
15 Sep 2025 18:37:56
Actually think this was much needed.
15 Sep 2025 19:14:23
Ehl. Why.
15 Sep 2025 19:20:14
I agree they look like strangers on the park so maybe letting off some steam might help.
15 Sep 2025 19:29:45
OWS, I think it's a good idea to take the squad out of their normal surroundings and their normal routines - create an opportunity for them to air their concerns / frustrations, clear the air and try and rebuild some of the relationships that should have been cemented over preseason.
If I was there, I'd have suggested something very similar.
15 Sep 2025 19:29:47
Yeah they need to get away from football for a moment and re set nothing like a walk in the hills and a freezing dip to clear the cobwebs.
15 Sep 2025 19:36:39
This is just more modern managerial bollocks .
They should be doing double sessions on the training pitch, there are so many things wrong with the organisation of the defence, positioning of midfield, lack of movement and creativity, shambolic defending of set pieces and lack of imagination at our set pieces that a free week like this should have been a godsend .
A bet the players were pishing themselves when they were told what they would be doing.
No wonder we are plumbing new depths with this clown in charge.
15 Sep 2025 19:43:06
Only positive is RM can't coach them in a loch!
15 Sep 2025 19:46:07
Let's be honest, (and I want him out) the only reason everyone is jumping on the team bonding thing is because of the mess he has put us in. He could have had double sessions of training all week and it would have been ridiculed, let's be honest.
15 Sep 2025 19:53:08
One Walter if they're going to play gash every week they could at least do it being good pals ?.
15 Sep 2025 19:54:03
Never mind important coaching players to try and understand the system and correct their constant mistakes. Let's go for a swim to make them feel better after all those big nasty mean men spoke those harsh words about their bosses. ??.

Was Raskin invited and i agree EHL.
15 Sep 2025 20:07:17
Every team does team bonding. It's nothing new. I guess with our poor performances of late many will think we should be on the training pitch but 1, 2hr session isn't going to fix it.
If it's me I'm probably not jumping in cold dirty water.
I've absolutely no issues with team bonding thou and getting out and about away from the training centre for the day with many of the staff won't hurt.
The optics are poor thou.
15 Sep 2025 20:28:36
Yeah absolutely a great idea.
Need to try get out of the pity party feeling around the place. I'd maybe even suggest a theme park or water park.
15 Sep 2025 20:36:31
EHL you at the wind up about voice their concerns? Doesn't sound very much like RM is willing to listen to anyone's concerns from the sounds of it.
15 Sep 2025 20:38:41
J-zer, they have been away from football since the season started.
15 Sep 2025 20:48:44
But does the clear the air talks and air their concerns / frustration need to go through the leadership group?
Can't see that happening with the Vegan Ego.
Martin Out!
15 Sep 2025 20:48:48
Agreed EHL but Martin isn't like that, anyone who airs any form of disagreement will be bombed into the abyss.
15 Sep 2025 20:56:04
Back in the day the boys would have headed to the pub for team building and new player bonding. Times have changed and things like this happen at every club. It shouldn't be viewed as a bad thing. Playing golf together could have been viewed as a jolly.
16 Sep 2025 08:06:55
Things like this happen in most corporate companies and have for years.
