Wasting my time but perhaps for fun. perhaps Raskin thinks he is the best player at the club and in the country and because of that he doesn't think the same rules apply to him as the other players. word a week or so back was that Tavs and someone else (cant remember who) had fallen out and had words with Martin . so why have they not been dropped and banished but Raskin has. did they realise quickly that they need to follow the team rules. I was reading that Raskin was going to wolves on loan with obligation to buy but he u-turned and went on international duty, which he is entitled to do. Not sure if it's true that Raskin has been suspended but whether I support Martin or not, players can cause trouble then kiss the badge and say they love the fans in a presser and all is forgiven.
Heard that Igamane was trying to leave for months and Raskin wants out too I believe. Smoke and mirrors around, ill reserve judgement on any of them for the moment. If results don't improve it's unlikely to matter as it will be another managerial change.

(Issue then is what to do with an increasingly unhappy player with a contract running down) … However fail to win regularly (across all fronts), and the glamour will not only be to include Raskin but RM will then rightly be fighting for his job…

Fork I wasn't trying to get you to bite but putting what I see as an alternative view of it. You are right the easiest thing would be to put him on the bench but if this is about getting players to knuckle down and do what is best for the club then that would be wrong longer term as they would still have power. there is more to this than meets the eye I reckon. Is Martin under pressure; yes from the fans but I often wonder if this is all part of what has been agreed by the new owners and why he was chosen in part. I feel that this is the end of that though and Raskin coming back into fold and playing as instructed will finally get club back on road to where we want to be. I've not been impressed with Martin so far but remember Souness and McCoist had a disagreement and McCoist had to sit on the bench for a bit getting nicknamed The Judge, or was his nickname The Jury? My memory fails me.

I think it may be as simple as Raskin not following instructions so other players don't know what to expect or where to be for patterns of play. until he proves in training sessions and then on pitch he has learned then the players and coaches can't trust him to follow the patterns.

I didn't expect Raskin to walk back into the starting eleven, Barron and Diomande played well enough in the OF game to justify them keeping their places.
I thought the first step back in the reconciliation would be a place on the bench but Martin has obviously decided that integrating him into training is the first step.

Only contradiction I've seen so far is from martin who told us or hinted at before international break that raskin was training with group but then today says he's back with group training. He could just be talking about international break but i think its a slip and more he wasn't training with group as previously reported.
