Ross Stewart was a name I heard last night that interests us . Reckon it's the Southampton link with the manager . Never know .

Gvb11

1.) 12 Jun 2025 14:44:09
Gob god help us.

2.) 12 Jun 2025 14:58:44
Id rather have rod stewart.

3.) 12 Jun 2025 14:59:31
Think there is a lot of speculation and guessing, rather than rumour going on.
Just hope when we DO start signing players, it has a more positive impact than the manager announcement.

4.) 12 Jun 2025 15:02:41
Would take as a 3rd choice in a minute.

5.) 12 Jun 2025 15:13:21
I'm all for bringing in players to help meet the European quota. And not dead against Stewart. But he has not player much football in recent years and I'm not sure we'd really want to take on someone with that injury history given how hampered we've been by injuries of late. It would need to be on very preferential terms for us in my book.

6.) 12 Jun 2025 15:35:50
Jesus old wurzel gummage,

7.) 12 Jun 2025 15:43:42
I have followed his career down south and would have taken him in a heartbeat, but only before his major injury. Excellent player, home grown, experience in the league.

But please no more injury risk players. Think we are all seriously fed up with players constantly injured.

8.) 12 Jun 2025 17:03:46
Left Sunderland for a fee close to £10m when he joined Southampton, and due to injury Ross Stewart only made 12 appearances season 2024-25 in the EPL.
Probably like most players plying their trade in the EPL or EFL ( championship ), the wages might be an issue.
Need to look at players from other leagues who are probably either OOC, or on lesser wages.

9.) 12 Jun 2025 17:07:00
Sorry, just adding to m previous comment on this one. A thought just flashed in to my head that Stewart might not actually count as homegrown for the European squad. I'm struggling to remember why that might be - perhaps because he wasn't registered with the SFA as a youngster - coming instead through the junior setup before turning pro?

Might be totally misremembering that though so could well be wrong!

10.) 12 Jun 2025 18:09:21
Jimbo he will be home grown.

11.) 12 Jun 2025 18:14:07
Yo, I tend to agree, we have had a lot of debate re him in the past, if I remember correctly he missed by a couple of months

Angus done good research on this b4.

12.) 12 Jun 2025 18:39:24
Yo jimbo I think you might be correct. the homegrown element is 3 years between ages of 15-21. He didn't turn professional until 2016 at age of 20. he played junior up till then and think that counts as a different national association.

13.) 12 Jun 2025 19:08:58
Media just going around every Southampton player, I think the count is now 11 that they have linked with us . Its a fairly decent team to be fair and would do quite well up here I think .

14.) 12 Jun 2025 19:35:48
Think something will arrive from Southampton but it's all guesswork just now, let's have a sweep . I will go for Juan who was on loan in Turkey .

15.) 12 Jun 2025 20:22:35
John 100% agree didn't want him before even when he was knocking goals in for sunderland not a good enough quality for rangers.

16.) 12 Jun 2025 20:38:59
He would offer something we don't have imo a big target man. Maybe something that's left football nearly but it works in scotland.

17.) 12 Jun 2025 22:08:12
Pissing myself at gofor, better cf than you think his only problem is injuries, he's at a different level than the player you seen in Scotland.

18.) 12 Jun 2025 23:09:26
Agree Beale. He's a cracking player.

19.) 13 Jun 2025 02:37:16
A couple seasons back he was dynamite, think he got a bad injury.

06 Jun 2025 13:39:21
Any news on Shankland? Can't be far away?

Gvb11

1.) 06 Jun 2025 14:06:54
Shankland - behave lol.

2.) 06 Jun 2025 14:09:50
About 50 miles, I would have thought.

3.) 06 Jun 2025 14:22:29
Ha, no doubt. To be honest, even now I'd still take him as 3rd of 4th choice striker. I think he's more than capable of dropping deep and linking play in behind to wingers, and he knows where the goal is. But I doubt that's the kind of role he'd be looking for at this stage of is career.

4.) 06 Jun 2025 14:31:27
Let's have more ambition than Shankland.

5.) 06 Jun 2025 14:35:16
Yeah Edinburgh is far enough away thanks ?‍♂️.

6.) 06 Jun 2025 14:41:42
? ing.

7.) 06 Jun 2025 14:58:57
Literally just saw the footballw Gospel posting it and wondered if anyone on here would have been done by it lol. Not saying this is why you've mentioned it but just seen Kerrydale Meltdown on X posting it and knew it would be mentioned on here by someone lol.

8.) 06 Jun 2025 15:01:59
He's coming!

9.) 06 Jun 2025 15:31:58
Hopefully his is far away and stays there, no idea why anyone wants to sign him, a Rangers man yes but of Rangers quality? No.

10.) 06 Jun 2025 15:38:07
4th choice striker? Aye I'm sure he will sign up for that.

11.) 06 Jun 2025 16:13:34
4th more 1st.

12.) 06 Jun 2025 16:21:29
Shankland does not fit in to the high energy, high pressing, quick passing brand of football that he is intending to play. So I can't see this happening.

13.) 06 Jun 2025 16:43:52
Here we go again with so, so tired Shankland thing.

Having listened closely when RM was outlining his desired type of playing style (high pressing, high energy, aggression, were just some of the things he's going to be looking for in his team) .

Now no disrespect, but Shankland is just not that type of player.

Even our much maligned Dessers, nobody can fault him for his efforts at trying to do his bit up front - he has all the above attributes, plus, of course, his very good goal contribution.

14.) 06 Jun 2025 16:45:35
GVB you think Shankland should be our number one striker?

15.) 06 Jun 2025 16:51:02
I don't think club will go there

But Rangers supporter and scottish quota makes sense is he more capable than danilo at the moment i'd have to say yes really depends who we sell because if danilo igamane dessers all remain at club can't see us signing another striker

We need wingers and cbs mostly.

16.) 06 Jun 2025 17:18:48
Couple has highlighted it Shankland isn't a player for the way we're going play.

17.) 06 Jun 2025 17:29:20
Shankland will score over mind 1,2, 3, or 1000.

18.) 06 Jun 2025 17:56:11
Saying Shankland maybe not right for the way we are going to play is fair enough but let's be honest against some of the teams at Ibrox we should have opposition pressed into their own box for most of game and he would do a job in the box, it's possible we could lose all our three strikers so him coming would not be end of world, him not signing a contract at Hearts yet a think means he's hoping to get a call after we had manager sorted, not pushing for it but a lot of games a season and can see sense in it if players leave.

19.) 06 Jun 2025 18:56:51
Can Shankland play rightback.

20.) 06 Jun 2025 18:58:44
I'd have him in the squad, give him the last 20-30 mins of league games, start him against lower half clubs etc and take it from there. He'd score and offer rotation.

It's not as if we're blessed with young Scottish strikers so a tried and tested (+ club supporter) is the next best thing.

21.) 06 Jun 2025 20:02:23
What way is that mystar because nobody can really predict how we will play

You can have an idea and a plan but doesn't mean players will or can execute it well.

22.) 06 Jun 2025 20:41:40
The only high press shankland does is his troosers.

23.) 06 Jun 2025 21:56:18
Gofor, now go away and listen to what our manager who is telling how we play, Shankland is not capable of playing high pressing high energy that player in not him.

Never seen Belgium play tonight but going match ratings seems Raskin was the best cm on the park tonight and played the full game.

24.) 07 Jun 2025 00:55:43
In a 500 milll + team, against North Macedonia in a 1-1 draw and in an international side that are languishing in 3rd place in their group.

Hardly the world class performance your making it out to be Star.

25.) 07 Jun 2025 01:08:21
Who said world class performance you seeing things LH? can't you see i never watched the game?

26.) 07 Jun 2025 02:03:20
Stromtrooper1 - what's wrong with Edinburgh?

27.) 07 Jun 2025 10:46:45
The Shankland formerly Cosgrove nutty crew back on again . This manager wants pace and power so just shoosh with the nonsense. That big lump has found his level and will stay there or maybe go to English lower level.

04 Jan 2025 19:03:58
Any news on Simon Kjær? Surly he would be in by now if true? Get him up to speed fitness wise .

Gvb11

1.) 04 Jan 2025 19:38:22
If he was coming in he'd already be in.

2.) 04 Jan 2025 19:42:25
Take to long to get him up to speed mate.

11 Oct 2024 08:46:33
Hiroshi Mikitani rumoured to be interested in Rangers.
Heard this while on hoil.

Not sure how legit it is.

Gvb11

1.) 11 Oct 2024 08:54:53
The Rakuten CEO? Doubt that very much.

2.) 11 Oct 2024 09:25:13
They own Kobe in the j league. Could be something or nowt .

3.) 11 Oct 2024 09:27:31
Crimson Group and Lyft and owns Vissel Kobe, busy guy tbf, think the major is correct.

4.) 11 Oct 2024 10:12:01
Heard this while in oz from a source at the central coast mariners.

Ya never know . But for sure rangers need changes

Current board have went as far as they can .

5.) 11 Oct 2024 10:19:46
Sorry current owners I mean have went as far as they can .

6.) 11 Oct 2024 15:20:44
BEG TO DIFFER

Website Club website.

7.) 11 Oct 2024 16:31:14
it is Rakuten who own VK
wonder Fork if your confusion comes as their HQ in Japan is Crimson House.

8.) 11 Oct 2024 17:18:19
No confusion president/ director of the Crimson Group, chairman of vissel kobe not owner 100% correct

At the age of thirty three, Mr. Mikitani was already the president and founder of two successful companies, the Crimson Group, a consulting company, and MDM (Magical Digital Market), one of the fastest growing internet-based shopping companies in Japan.

Extracted from his bio on Crimson Group page, easily availiable on google.

9.) 11 Oct 2024 17:21:12
Est 1996, apologies this was a report from a 1998 keynote speech when he was 33 about starting Crimson Grp and MDM.

10.) 11 Oct 2024 17:27:43
TFM also have him listed as owner of vissel kobe, acquired through the Crimson Group and then Rakuten bought it.

11.) 14 Oct 2024 09:36:11
Can he play central midfield?

12 Sep 2024 08:28:36
Has Bajrami secured a visa and in the country yet?

Anyone any updates.

Gvb11

1.) 12 Sep 2024 09:52:33
I didn't even know this was an issue?

2.) 12 Sep 2024 10:49:35
Let’s hope he can start on Sunday. PC tends not to play the new guys until they have settled. (Even if he has a visa)
We need frequent goals to build confidence throughout the team.
Let’s get back to our winning ways with a big win.

3.) 12 Sep 2024 11:17:45
If PC doesn't play players until they settle then why are people saying we have to give the new players that are playing now time to settle?

4.) 12 Sep 2024 11:40:56
think it would be agreed. SFA website says tier 2 visas for professional sportspeople are automatic if they have played 75% of international games for their country and if country has been in top 70 for last 2 years (as an aggregate) and Albania are currently 66th and were higher before that.

5.) 12 Sep 2024 11:45:17
I think PC likes them settled in the country, house, family etc. The people are saying to settle in the team. Getting used to the football in Scotland.

6.) 12 Sep 2024 11:46:01
Don`t think there was a problem with his visa, its just that he signed on Friday which is too late to play on the Sunday . He`s been away playing with his national team so hopefully he will be fit and available to play.

7.) 12 Sep 2024 13:14:10
Rayger again with a stupid comment. An initial settle and settle into Scottish football and living in Scotland are different things and you know it. Trying to stir it up.

8.) 12 Sep 2024 14:33:12
This settle thing baffles me. Where is my new work, where are the shops, where do i live. Figure the rest out on down days. The football side should take very little time in my opinion. They are professionals. Maybe i'm wrong but i don't think professionals should need months to be ready or perform to the best of their abilities.

9.) 12 Sep 2024 16:06:12
Don't understand how that confused you JKK, could you just move to strange country in any field you do and settle fast?

10.) 12 Sep 2024 16:52:05
never mind the moving country thing it will take a player, whoever he is time to get an understanding of patterns of play, which runs into space new team mates will make. speed of the game if they come from a more technical league such as the Italian. Doesn't mean they can't play just that it may be a while before you see them at their best.

11.) 12 Sep 2024 16:53:32
Can u speak Albanian?

12.) 12 Sep 2024 17:29:00
po mundem pak.

13.) 12 Sep 2024 18:18:12
Match fit so he starts.

14.) 12 Sep 2024 19:09:54
Ose aspak.

15.) 12 Sep 2024 19:45:35
Yes i could My Star. Thousands of pounds a week would see me right. But i am fine in my own company. I think this is an excuse we are giving players that are not good enough tbh. Celtic players seem to settle pretty quick so maybe our club are missing something? Travel is part of sport.

16.) 12 Sep 2024 19:49:18
What would we do without google translate. ??.

17.) 12 Sep 2024 21:06:20
I don't think it will take Bajrami long to settle.

Don't expect him to start this weekend though, but hopefully see him get a good 30 minutes.

18.) 12 Sep 2024 21:20:29
Spot on Gordy???.

19.) 12 Sep 2024 22:03:44
Clement said himself there’s no exact science on how long a player takes to settle, some are months some are instant. What he does through in gradually incorporates them into team, usually starting on bench and building their minutes up from there.

That is same with players returning from injury etc you don’t normally drop someone until the player taking his place has showed they deserve it with the performances from the bench.

20.) 12 Sep 2024 22:25:50
Hagi's agent talking bs again, saying clubs can't assess him and also that he's a 2 footed world beater . He played for Romania twice and will play in the Scottish challenge cup I would expect .

However if we are holding out for near £3m that is also bollocks . Manager doesn't want him so bite the bullet and shift him off the wage bill for £1m ono . If he thinks he's better than having to play in Romania he should say so . oh aye somebody phone Gerrard and make him an offer he canny refuse.

21.) 13 Sep 2024 06:10:24
Sollof19 best ignore him that’s what the majority do and he will go away for a couple of weeks and come back with his 1000th name change.

Jjk with those comments you really are showing how little you know about football and the players.

22.) 13 Sep 2024 08:09:10
Storm you are probably right. I clearly know very little But have worked abroad. So i can relate to my own experiences. Hopefully all our new players settle like i did. Quickly because i had targets to achieve.

23.) 13 Sep 2024 08:25:37
JJK Celtic aren't that different and if they are they are blending 1 or 2 players into a winning settled team. But O'riley started 6 out of his first 12 games, Kuhn 6 out of 11 with 3 subs and 2 staying on bench. I think it is more common than we think.

24.) 13 Sep 2024 08:59:01
Angus and Fork, tepër qesharake. E luajtur mirë.

25.) 13 Sep 2024 10:09:10
Lol exactly bud very well played??.

26.) 13 Sep 2024 12:25:39
the wonders of google translate ?.

27.) 13 Sep 2024 15:23:57
Absolutely spot on JJK, just more excuses to excuse poor performances from poor players. These players were quick enough to accept big money contracts without any consideration to themselves settling.

28.) 13 Sep 2024 15:27:28
If Clement drops points in any of his next 3 league games his record is officially worse than Beale’s and he should be sacked. There should be no excuses about injuries, settling players in, etc. The team is worse now that it was 12 months ago so there really is no hiding anymore. Clement has one formation, cannot adapt, and seems to have lost most of the dressing room to be honest. The players look miserable.

29.) 13 Sep 2024 16:19:37
are these the same players looking miserable who were criticised for laughing and smiling after the OF game.
BTW Beale already has a higher win percentage than Clement in the 2 seasons or part seasons he was here 72% but in the second season his win rate fell to around 53%. That overall rate was better than Smith, MacLeish, Gerrard and Advocaat. Only McCoist was better. PC sits at 67% which is only beaten by those 3. So for a poor team/ manager/ 1 formation/ lost dressing room they aren't doing too badly.

30.) 13 Sep 2024 16:20:55
just realised as well that as Bahjrami was training with the the team he must have his paperwork through as training constitutes part of his work.

31.) 13 Sep 2024 19:04:26
Angus his visa fell into the automatic category.

32.) 14 Sep 2024 09:40:51
Story came from the puddle drinkers.

04 Jun 2025 08:18:31
If Rangers leaked Martins name yesterday to gauge fan reaction, then today surely they move on from Martin .
Thoughts anyone .

Gvb11

1.) 04 Jun 2025 08:44:30
Tbh do we really want our board to make decisions based on the fans reaction? If they trult think RM is the best candidate then they should go ahead and appointment him.
Most wanted Gio and PC was well recieved also Barry had many on board but look. how they all ended up. Make the decision stand by it and deal with it no matter the outcome.

2.) 04 Jun 2025 08:52:51
Also we were told the new manager would have no link previously with the club .

3.) 04 Jun 2025 09:05:35
Thats my thinking. Martin and the board already on a hiding nothing. there's no way after yesterdays reaction that that can go with martin. Couple bad results and he's done for with the fans.

4.) 04 Jun 2025 09:07:16
If he's not definitely the guy then someone leaked it to see what fans would say, could have been competitor for the position as it's got a big response that I'm sure the club is aware of.

5.) 04 Jun 2025 09:10:38
Will give him a chance but is his credentials even anywhere near Clements? Winning titles and games in CL. He sounds very stubborn and unwilling to change. His teams have had poor defences. The one area we need to make solid right now. I think this sounds like worst possible outcome from all the names mentioned tbh if it happens. On the other hand Big Ange had a style that worked a treat domestic but not in europe. This might be how it pans out for RM. Would fans or the board accept poor european performance for a more competitive team domestic? (And still maybe finish second for a few years) i don't think so. Disaster all over it and most fans being against it from the off won't help.

6.) 04 Jun 2025 09:11:49
Doubt it seriously this group are apparently moneyballers so if they thought he was the right man they'd employ him.

7.) 04 Jun 2025 09:34:01
Gvb my thoughts are Rangers aren't leaking anything to gauge fan reaction. That would basically mean the fans are picking the manager. These guys didn't become billionaires by letting other people make decisions for them. I think they would like us fans to be onside with whoever it is, but not the be all end all imo. They will back themselves, rightly so with how successful they've been elsewhere.

8.) 04 Jun 2025 10:04:07
Don't base it completely on fans reaction but do feel it does come into it. Why name someone that cause huge devision in the stadium so your on an uphill battle before u even start?

15 May 2025 09:01:12
Wee shout out for Barry's nephew Lewis well done last night .

Gvb11

1.) 15 May 2025 09:15:22
Brilliant achievement captaining Bologna to first trophy in over half a century. And another homegrown Scot in Billy Gilmour in with a great shout of a Serie A winners medal.

2.) 15 May 2025 10:12:28
Fantastic achievement.

Wonder what his price tag would be and where he might end up going forward.

3.) 15 May 2025 10:23:17
Stig supposedly it's only €25m if he's to leave this summer.
I actually thought it would be higher.

4.) 15 May 2025 10:42:02
Going to Napoli meant to be.

5.) 15 May 2025 10:42:29
Think he chose the right move Stevie. look how much his game has improved and the name he's making for himself.

A really good wee success story for him right now good on him for making the most of it doing all in his own merit ?.

6.) 15 May 2025 11:21:46
Absolutely Stig he's flying the flag for us all over there. Nothing but admiration and respect for him and what he's done with date I say it the minimal talent was given.
He's improved himself 100 fold since he first played with Hamilton. Added aspects to his game we all never thought he had or could have.

Absolutely done all this for himself.

7.) 15 May 2025 11:59:21
Yet there were Rangers fans who said he wasn't good enough for the club. Great judges of football ability…. not!

8.) 15 May 2025 12:26:50
Think he admitted himself how much Thiago Motta had improved him as a player. Good to see how Scottish players are doing well in Italy and Spain, even McBurnie has scored in La Liga.

9.) 15 May 2025 12:36:26
What a move it's turned out to be for the boy. He's absolutely living the dream. Well done son ?.

10.) 15 May 2025 13:16:24
I wish we signed Ferguson.

11.) 15 May 2025 13:25:18
Big well done to the lad.

13 May 2025 07:27:44
Could it be suggested Davide Ancelotti name has been leaked to gauge fan reaction .

Jose to Ancelotti poles apart.

Gvb11

28 Apr 2025 16:11:13
If true Marco Rose is potentially going to be the new Manager of RFC

My question is
Is he going to be any better then:
Pc who won leagues
GVB also won a league.
Beale.
Barry .

What sets Rose aside from above or are we in danger of going down the same old road.

Me personally would prefer an experienced Scottish manager, who i don't know or Stevie G .

Gvb11

1.) 28 Apr 2025 16:41:17
What sets gerrard apart from clement or gvb who also won the same amount as sg?

2.) 28 Apr 2025 16:48:54
Like every suggestion we will see bad and good points to them all. But we will get behind whoever it may be. And let's hope for once we are nicely surprised at the job they do. i'm more interested to see what players come in tbh. We need a huge clear out.

3.) 28 Apr 2025 17:12:51
I honestly don't think whether the decision on our new manager has been taken or not, there will be any announcement from the club until after the final game against hibs at ER at the earliest ?.

4.) 28 Apr 2025 18:41:56
That would not be my question.

Mine would be is this new manager going to be given some time to build something at our club or will there be calls to sack him 4 games into a season like the last couple of managers.

As for the Scottish manager idea, good in theory if you look at our history as a winning club. But on the practical side there are very few, if any at all, good Scottish managers.

5.) 28 Apr 2025 19:20:15
There is zero Scottish managwr experienced or not who should get the job.

6.) 28 Apr 2025 19:45:52
The only decent scottish manager is david moyes and i'm not sure he would be the answer at all. great scottish managers seem to be a thing of the past when fergie retired so did the scottish managers.

If someone could come up with a manager guaranteed to bring success we'll have him, unlikely so let's just get behind whoever is given the honour and not prejudge.

8.) 28 Apr 2025 20:33:28
Paul I'm not all for Gerrard coming back mate, wouldn't be annoyed though. To answer your question, what sets them apart. 1.The team Gerrard inherited was absolutely night and day to the teams gio and clement inherited. Gerrard had to build a team from scratch, literally!

2. A title
3. An unbeaten season (really hard thing to achieve)
4. The beating of Celtic
5. His name could attract players, brought more focus on our club.

9.) 28 Apr 2025 20:36:25
Tommy I agree what any manager needs is time and we never give them that; average for each of last 6 managers is 20 months and that is because of Gerrard and Warburton's slightly longer tenure.
what makes anyone think Scottish manager would be successful either if we could even think of one (Moyes won't come) .
perhaps the discussions are still ongoing as they are struggling to make a manager believe we won't cut them loose as soon as the fans turn.

10.) 28 Apr 2025 20:55:04
Good points Boy blue and i wouldn't be totally against steven gerrard, if he was appointed our manager again ? Not my first choice, but certainly in my top 4???.

11.) 28 Apr 2025 20:55:38
Bb4 you forgot to mention the fact SG left players not good enough on high wages.

Also it's been proven that the league title was a one off.

He also fecked up a treble that was there on a plate for him.

12.) 28 Apr 2025 21:33:45
If steven gerrard had stayed storm imo it wouldn't have been a one of title win because imo he would have retained the title and that's my honest opinion ?.

13.) 28 Apr 2025 21:37:42
Storm, i know we should have won other cups under gerrard but as the late, great walter smith always said a lot of clubs can win one of cup competitions but what keeps you in the Rangers job is winning the league title year on year, that's the main one, although of course everything Rangers play in the aim without a doubt is to win it and remember how highly walter smith rated and liked gerrard and that's a fact ?.

14.) 28 Apr 2025 21:44:49
Why has it been proven the league was once off storm? wins it back to back if he stayed in my opinion, you must be casting your opinion as proven fgs.

15.) 28 Apr 2025 21:52:42
Storm, u say he left players not good enough?

Thales players were 7 ahead of Celtic, just won an undefeated league title and went on to the Europa league final. They seemed good enough at that time did they not?
Short memory again pal.

And he doesn't offer the wages that's n not his job.
See Wilson for that storm.

16.) 28 Apr 2025 21:53:42
No a didn't storm. The question was what sets them apart, meaning what did gerrard do better than the others. Can't believe am having to explain that, you really should read the post before reaching for your keyboard stormy boy ?
You really have a problem with gerrard don't you? Every post about him, your there to put him down. Did something happen between you and stevie gerrard, that we're not privy to? Spill the beans, what happened!

17.) 28 Apr 2025 22:08:15
Coops you are allowed that opinion as Mystar thinks the same but I don't and the proof is in the pudding with 1 trophy out of 9.
Not many folk now in football rate him highly as a manager coops I don't get your point about having to bring in the late great Walter smith into the debate. You do this all the time.

Would he have rated him highly on the way he left? Not a chance.

18.) 28 Apr 2025 22:40:08
More proof being in the pudding was Rangers being 5/6 points in front when he left and Celtic couldn't beat his Rangers side, Storm.

19.) 28 Apr 2025 22:41:48
Boy blue maybe that's how storm has a wee grievance against me, maybe if I changed my name he'll get off ma back, mate ?.

20.) 28 Apr 2025 22:51:38
Scottish manager? Don't make me laugh.

21.) 29 Apr 2025 00:23:38
??? Stevie.

22.) 29 Apr 2025 04:36:11
True stevieg ??.

23.) 29 Apr 2025 06:28:44
The proof is he left in the middle of the night bb4 so it's irrelevant how many points clear he was. He won 1 in 9 that is the fact. No ifs no buts. It seems you don't like facts ?. Me posting about SG is a bit like you posting about me mate ?. I am entitled to my opinion and I'll post it the same as you are all.

24.) 29 Apr 2025 11:34:00
Fact is he stopped 10 in a row storm. Won 55. That's success. Fact.

His team went onto the Europa final. I'd say that's proof he left a good squad of players.

His undefeated season, record goals against in Britain. Performances and results against far superior and richer teams in Europe, and Celtic.

The mess of the club when he came in to the position he left us in.

That is all facts and shows he was a success.

25.) 29 Apr 2025 13:22:12
Maybe it would be easier on you if he left in the middle of the day ?
I've not once debated he didn't win one in 9.
I've not once debated about how many points he was clear either ?.

Has Fergie made a difference? Not really let's be honest.

Gvb11

1.) 26 Apr 2025 18:02:11
Not at all.

2.) 26 Apr 2025 18:03:03
Yes. He's 100% made us worse.

3.) 26 Apr 2025 18:09:48
I was all for him and backroom team as its staunch but nothing changed from pc. Possibly make them backroom team with good experienced manager.

4.) 26 Apr 2025 18:10:55
A small bounce affect, then worse than before. He is experimenting with all the formations in the book, none very successfully. Being a Rangers legend and know what it means does not make you what we need, we need a proven manager who knows how to manage, a backroom set-up that works, board that does the right things, and a squad to compete on all fronts. Bring on next season and a new hope.

5.) 26 Apr 2025 18:14:15
He has made a difference. He has turned a bad team into a truly awful one.

6.) 26 Apr 2025 18:15:07
Same team, same outcome. No magic new manager spark. Same old. Changes afoot and overdue.

7.) 26 Apr 2025 18:21:52
Considering his previous managerial exploits, I'm not sure how we could have expected anything other than what we're seeing.
Barry has loads of passion, but unfortunately, not much grey matter when it comes to football management.

8.) 26 Apr 2025 18:23:26
GVB11 I'm a great believer in a new era a new direction. We need to get a new management team and not look back or inwards. I don't have the name but lots of guys in the know on this site know way more than I do about management and I respect their opinions.

Personally I'd like to hire a young foreign manager that knows European football and can inspire players to become better, I don't think we need a massive clear out but we do need change I just think we need a captain that can steady the ship so to speak.

9.) 26 Apr 2025 18:24:40
100% made it worse still can't believe some fans wanted him as manager. A few people said he shouldn't have been put in this position and they were right. Can we just tell him to go and let the under 10s manage the last few games.

10.) 26 Apr 2025 18:26:03
This was only a temporary arrangment unless he won every game and the EL. With this group of players that was impossible. BF as manager was 95% never going to happen. I've moved on to next season, everything that happens now is irrelevent. Would still like to gub them obviously.

11.) 26 Apr 2025 18:30:18
Yes, he's made us worse easier to play against easier to bully easier all round he's take everyone down a level except Raskin.

12.) 26 Apr 2025 18:37:07
Souttar was a scare today, further proof he's not good enough.

13.) 26 Apr 2025 18:45:41
Agreed 100% EHL.

14.) 26 Apr 2025 18:52:11
He said during week he wasn't going to play youngsters just because their young but if they show up in training mabye, what are the others doing . Barry needs to put club first rather than his own ambitions and change this dross, his time would be better remembered for giving players a chance and being brave and dropping the usual suspects, this is just abysmal football.

15.) 26 Apr 2025 18:54:47
36% win record. He said after game players r not doing as told.

16.) 26 Apr 2025 18:56:08
Souttar is our most overrated player, cathkin.

17.) 26 Apr 2025 18:58:38
Did it or does it matter. he was the interim manager and we had lost the league anyway. it was a cheap option for the club and they made much more from the qualification to the 1/ 4final of the EL than the cost of the management teams wages.

he may just be helping in a way as he will be able to shed light on those players who don't bleed for the club. yes there were fans saying he should be made manager as he was 'staunch' (OMG is that a reason to give anyone any job) . but that wasn't his fault. And in his position would you not hope to do well and have a chance to manage the club he obviously loves. give the guy a break.

18.) 26 Apr 2025 19:06:01
Hey storm, some we're putting money on it. ??.

19.) 26 Apr 2025 19:09:14
No he hasn't but he shouldn't be blamed, the same players who let down pc and some mb are letting bf down and our club. Can't wait to see the back of many of that lot.

20.) 26 Apr 2025 19:20:34
It seems our players are a law into themselves, some serial offenders.

21.) 26 Apr 2025 19:38:48
Bgate, i don't know about serial offenders, but they're certainly serial losers.

22.) 26 Apr 2025 19:40:33
I wonder who that was SWM ?rather puzzling i just can't think ?.

23.) 26 Apr 2025 20:09:13
Only an idiot would put money on it SWM who did?

Shota I couldn't believe he said that because the squad he keeps putting out aren't doing it during games so youngsters can't be any worse really. Shades of a pc press conference that from Barry.

24.) 26 Apr 2025 20:37:04
Can't believe someone would put money on Barry getting the job FT??.

25.) 26 Apr 2025 20:57:32
Oooft Storm???.
