I said around 3 weeks ago in response to StevieGnew who the 3 managers I was told were spoken to in the last month.
I will not hide behind elusion the 3 names I was told were.
1. Rose
2. Rohl
3. Gerrard
In that order.

Number 3, Gerrard, for me now. I was dead against him returning during the summer before RM was appointed, but given what's gone on the last 3 months with the RM experiment, I think he's the right man now.
The other manager I would consider is Muscat. He's won several trophies and plays an attacking brand of football and knows the club and Scottish football from his year playing for us, albeit was a long time ago. I suspect we have missed the boat with Lampard and he wouldn't come at this stage anyway.

I'd like Muscat. Otherwise, it might have to be Gerrard. I'm split on him but we'll see. Muscat brings proven winning, no nonsense, access to new player markets were not currently in and also has a connection to the club although that's not necessarily a requirement.
Whoever is appointed, the club have no margin for error.

Asa he may be elite but the Scottish league is not an elite league, these managers who have achieved a lot in Europe struggle here GvB and clement both did excellent in Belgium and Holland. I would be very wary that Rose would struggle here. Gerrard has won a title here and he knows exactly what it takes. 100% less of a risk to me.

Danny Rohl had a win percentage of 38% at Sheffield.
We want a manger who is a winner and has been at a big club who can take expectations.
Gerrard wouldn't be my choice either tbh rose or Muscat I'd be happy with rose has been at huge clubs and knows the demands.
Muscat ain't had huge clubs but has been a winner near every club he's been at plus he actually plays attacking football.
Just my 2 cents on it.

Outta those 3 i'd say Gerrard but i'd have concerns bout his longetivity if an offer came in. Muscat would be a very fresh approach think a lot of fans would like him in too tbh if they need to pay compo to get him few months early so be it they can't risk getting it wrong again tbh ?♂️ god knows none of us can go through all of this again ?.

take it you didn;t watch us mangle top class european sides with a 1st team that cost a grand total of 13 mill, including side that fielded 1st teams valued at 300 mill and more, very tactically inept indeed.
Had us playing the best football to date since we came back up, did he win all the cups no, but Celtic were spending and making a fortune and leagues ahead of us then.

How is Gerrard safe, from what i am told he didn't do any coaching, didn't do the tactics so what did he do. how far we have fallen where we think a manager who nearly got sacked from us and got sacked from his next 2 jobs and doesn't have Beale to help is now all of a sudden the safe option.
He did more damage to us than you guys know. he spent more than we could afford all to stop 10 in a row, then when he was told because of his insistence to keep Buff and kent plus pay others over 35K, he threw the dummy out of the pram and did one himself.

Muscat has won league titles in Australia, Japan and China.
Rose (49) has managed FC Red Bull Salzburg won back to back League titles and National Cup.

Borussia Dortmund
RB Leipzig: German Cup and the Super Cup
Muscat and Rose are hardly a risk.
