I just seen the video of the fan talking to Thelwell and Stewart in what looked like the team hotel. First of all, fair play to the fan for keeping his cool, he's a better man than me.
Thelwell and Stewart go on to ask who would you have brought it?
First of all, what a question to ask and the fan reminds them on multiple occasions that that is there job, not his.
This really sounded to me like nobody else wanted the job and Martin was the only person daft enough to say yes.
I get the impression we're stuck with this fraud and we've got a season of hoping for top 6 because not another person worth looking at would be remotely interested in coming to us.
We will not finish second this season, I wouldn't even bet on third.

I would of asked what made him the "outstanding" candidate. I highly doubt he was the only one, more like the cheap one but I have a feeling he'll be on more money than Clement was.
If the talk about Ancelotti is true having has staff ready to go and ready to sign before being told to wait cause they interviewing more (probably Martin again)
& Ancelotti decided to move on then how many more did Thelwell do that to for them then to more on?

When I look at it all, I'm starting to think that perhaps Martin was the only one who actually wanted the job.
We can all say, that's rubbish as we're Glasgow Rangers, there's plenty of managers who would queue up for the job.
We're not the Rangers of the 90's/ 00's anymore and potentially won't be again, so maybe, just maybe nobody else wanted the job.

I actually think Thelwell deserves a bit of credit for how he handled what was a difficult situation.

I don't believe for a minute that there was nobody else better wanting the job . By all accounts Martin was added to the short list at Thelwells request and he campaigned for him to get the job . We are at the stage now where anybody would be better than what we have, maybe not Ancelotti who is failing at Botafogo, but others that have been suggested even unpopular ones with some of us. The likes of Gerrard, Muscat, Dyche and some of the German guys would all be a massive upgrade and get the club moving again.
Summed Thelwell up, when he tried to calm the fella down by saying let's talk quietly and when the guy said ok let's go over here and sit down, Thelwell said I didn't mean now. A Coward.

Dado got to say thought Thelwell did well to stay calm as I'm not sure i'd have liked them confronting me like that. Their security wasn't the best at all and what did you want them to say?
Yes we had better options than RM or we didn't have better options. Got to say if we do get rid of RM, who would want the job with rockets like that supporting the team.

Dado, I've seen the video. Some may disagree, but from what I saw, I thought Thelwell came across quite well. It was Stewart who asked the question, "Who would you get? ".

Dado, Barry Ferguson, Neil McCann and Billy Dodds would without a doubt want the job mate and i'd honestly right now give them it until the end of the season and re-evaluate where we are at the end of the season. ? They'd be miles better than martin imo.

But they weren't baz's players John ?I'm not saying he'd be my first choice but i think if baz and his management team had been given the backing to bring players of their own in like martin has done, we'd have a much better team and be in a far better position than we currently are imo.

Ferguson would not do any better last season proved that an every other job he has done has proved that.
I don't think the boy was calm dado and to be honest it would have been better if he was calmer.
