Fork, from what I recall Rose was pulled out very early in the process last time as his salary demands were around 3 times our budget.

Correct ASA its not a poll of who is favourite manager (by club or fan sites) but more on who the punters are sticking their fiver on - that's what determines the so called favourite - by no means an idealistic method of looking at it?

Southgate I wouldn't touch with anyone else's barge poles.
The rest is anyone's guess. I'm not convinced that the remainder will be any better than the their predecessors in the short term.

Muscat would be close to my last choice for the job to be honest. Gareth Southgate might be an inspired choice, but I reckon that Steven Gerrard will be back in charge by the weekend.

Why would he leave the team at the top to come to us - all it would do is most likely hand them the title.
