If I was the 49ers I'd put bazza and Co in charge just now. Don't make a rushed desicion and get if wrong again. Regardless who comes in I would like at least 2 Rangers men with either coaching or within management team.

Ferguson has already said he won't take the position on again on a temporary basis.

No chance in my only reply.

Davie, I seriously hope it's not rushed. Writing has been on the wall for months, so fingers crossed they're pretty advanced in the process.

Fergie won't be a doormat again to let someone else cross the threshold.

These are successful business men, apparently. So this hasn't come as a knee jerk decision. Some preparatory work must have been done. With who? that is the question.

Fergie, while not my first choice, would do a good job I reckon. I personally wouldn't be against it.

Why would we even want that.

Successful businessmen don't get every decision right. They tend to just get more right than they get wrong, back their winners and cut their losers early.
The inference whenever this comes up that being successful means they never get it wrong isn't healthy.
They got this one very wrong (Thelwell, Stewart and allowing them to appoint Martin) . i'd be surprised if they let Stewart and Thelwell have free reign on the next manager given just how badly wrong they got this one.

I didn't say they got everything right gdog. I did say successful apparently. I was referring to what steps they took when it was blatantly obvious it would end badly. So, they've got potentials lined up and may need to cough up some more dough to get quality. They can't afford another mistake.
