For those concerned about the cost of sacking him. Between poor attendance and losing to a team we should comfortably beat at home, he cost us over £1m in one game. c£650k prize money £3-400k tickets. + merchandise etc.

I posted the same yesterday kaiser, this surely is when the owners take notice cause this to them is business.

Something is not right. Must be things going on at boardroom level. Its clear as day Martin is out his depth and has no clue. If we are losing money i would imagine owners will definitely be acting behind the scenes.

Oh my god that interview the next day after the game, what is he talking about, all this we will grow, use the frustration turn it into energy, confidence is best it has been, stand us in good stead, growing awareness and enjoying the challenge, growing again, we are altogether, trust the process, he then hits us with crowd stats and said "you" when describing us having a reduced crowd last year. Blaming red card then saying we played good stuff and if we went into HT at 0-0 we would have built on it. Absolute weapon of a man he needs gone now.

Have we also forgot the near 40mill, missed in CL money, it wasn't a hard route to be honest!

27 Sep 2025 10:47:37
Not defending Martin anyway but playing with ten men for over 50 minutes doesn't help.

27 Sep 2025 10:51:56
3 more Europa home games at this rate if Martin still at club, with reduced crowds and all that goes with that will amount to about 1.5 to 2m, plus reduce crowds at league games, it will cost us more to keep him and that is not counting damage he will have done to our club.

It is not all Martin's fault, anyone would jump at chance like he did the Person most liable is Thelwell he was one who pushed for Martin and also who signed of on transfers, loans which are costing club millions, no return on loans, we will never get return on lad from Everton or Fernandez, also feel Raskin will be off in January if Martin is still here.

My thoughts are they have looked at us and underestimated the task and size of club. Stewart I believe was brought in before the take over and through recruitment we ended up with the squad and Martin. I honestly believe they are now at the stage we're if Martin goes so must others. I am sure the others know this? Maybe Leeds going up first time has made them think this would be the same, however it's backfired.

Keeping Leeds and Everton in the premiership is a business necessity. Man United will fill OT with co-operative bums alone. Up here is a different world. We expect and demand success and yet I believe the fan base have been very patient and supportive. Something has turn though and I don't think they know what to do except clear the decks. The loans and the 8 million dollar man were desperation. To have a player on loan in front of 2 off your own is madness especially if they aren't producing. A pure act of football snobery.

Positives
The wage bill has been reduced. The average age of the starting 11 has been brought down. With a better set up I believe some of our own players will shine and generate a profit. However wonder if they'll cut and run. I know stop talking crap but stranger things have happened. ??.

The stupid red card obviously didn't help but can't honestly say the outcome would have been any different if we had eleven men if we are being honest they could have scored 5 or 6 and it would not have flattered them.

27 Sep 2025 11:27:49
Your right mystar but he should have set them up to be more pragmatic with ten men rather than go chasing it, their goal was a complete joke how high the back line was, one pass and they were through and let's be honest if they were a better side we would have got another doing, the defending was criminal also simply not good enough. There is a way to play with ten man to frustrate but certainly not like that.

27 Sep 2025 11:36:42
I'm inclined to say playing with 11 men for 40 minutes didn't help either Star?? but you're right. ?.

Mcmillst

It's all rhetoric garbage. He's already been found out as cheap carpet salesman. What can't believe 49ers still buying into this c###.

Agreed Rose, Souttar got further up the park under Martin orders, I would have be very happy with a point on Thursday mate.

We played better with 10 than we did with 11.
