Motherwell took 3 off them today so that shows how good they are. We lost 2 poor goals today and have now lost ground in the title race. Make no mistake that lot would have beaten Hibs today and for all they haven’t been great they still seem to know how to win the bigger games while we seem to know how not to win these games.

Roofe has obviously had a calf problem at his last two clubs thatcaused him to sit out lengthy periods of the season. Now he needs a scan to see the extent of his recent calf injury but how come this wasnt picked up at his medical. Seems like he could be out for a while or out repeatedly with this injury. As expected the entitled and moaning minnies are out in force again after a disappointing draw.
Probably hovering over the keypad waiting for the first bad result since Livi away to spout the usual nonsense.

But when you analyse the game properly instead of a knee-jerk reaction?
We weren't at our best but still had chances to win the game. The Morelos header and most notably the Arfield chance.
Factor in Goldson making an error for their equaliser ( though we still had chances to clear the danger ) and players being off form ( when Helander produces more lazy runs forward than Kent, you know Kent's having a bad game ) .
We're still undefeated.
And whatever happened to Follow Follow?

Oofft you are easy pleased. Our manager has won nothing in 2 seasons and his signings record is a joke. I would estimate a 20 to 25 % success rate and I can’t even face listing the failures, it’s too painful

Today was the second test of the season after Aberdeen (who were woeful and we struggled to a 1-0) and we failed.

Helander lying on the deck wanting a foul after being out jumped by a guy 2 inches shorter is a joke and you mentioned Goldson - the problem with him is that he actually thinks he can play from the back.

If Kent doesn’t fire, we don’t fire. Cedric looks a nice big guy, just what we needed whilst Dykes is banging them in for club and country. Roofe is made of glass. Hagi just ain’t got the heart for it

Appalling defending, particularly at 2nd goal - until we learn to cut out crosses at source, and show appropriate urgency and determination in these defensive situations, we are doomed to fail. Deja vu - when the pressure is on domestically, the mental strength needed is sadly missing from this squad of players. The buck stops with the manager, unfortunately; it pains me to say that, but how many seasons do you need to get people to do the basics? We can't afford to continue failing in this manner or we will not win leagues or cups. I just hope we learn from it (finally) and go on to give our fans the success they crave and deserve. Gutted.

Itten hasn't had enough minutes to show anything yet. Its difficult to make an impression when getting 15 mins at the end of games. I know he started the other night but needs a few 90 mins under his belt before he can be judged. The signing of Roofe worried me. He's scored a couple of goals but generally he's been average at best. Again though he needs minutes to prove his worth because he's not played a lot of football this year. Johnson doesn't inspire me. I've never heard of him until we were linked but again, if we sign him I will give him every opportunity to impress.

OK mrgrumpy, I would not have signed Roofe and probably not Itten but Gerrard plays a different system to that which I think is needed to win the SPFL so the players that I would have signed are not relevant to this debate. I am not privy to how much we can pay in wages as opposed to what other leagues pay but I would be looking to the German and Dutch leagues as they play a similar style to ours and players could probably come straight in and be at ease with the pace, physicality etc. that is needed in Scotland. A player with a poor injury history is not going to make it in Scotland, IMO.

Watching that today is a worry for me, the Scottish league is so physical and yet we are struggling all over the pitch for strength Helander gets absaloutey bullied for that second goal, and Goldson was absaloutey shocking today but he will still be in the starting 11 on Thursday, a feel we need to go out and get a proper warrior for the centre midfield someone who can bully most opponents, and is it just me or can everyone else see why we badly need a right winger! Playing hagi out there is taking his attributes away from him, as much as it pains me to say this the Celtic mob have got goals in them all over the park, am really questioning the money we have spent on itten and Roofe, Roofe is decent but injury prone and a feel itten looks absaloutey terrible tbh, some good signings through the door or they will get the 10 without a doubt.

Never got to see the game today so thought I would come on here to see how the feelings were as my mates weren't impressed and saying SG doesn't have a clue.
So, how did we do tactically, did we try to change things up. The app I use says we went back to 4-3-3? When he brought on Defoe did he change the shape or was that when Itten came on?
Had a bad feeling about today, think I have some mental scar tissue with us and tough away games as I wasn't confident of the win if I am honest, especially if teams are in our face and physical which I expect Hibs we're.
I saw their second goal, I agree with some people saying we shouldn't be blaming the linesman or ref we'll I disagree. We try and play within the confines of the rules, these muppets that officiate our games should apply them correctly! We are clearly not good enough to win these games on our own accord so we need everything to go our way as much as it should.

I've been looking at this site for years and now I've decided to contribute. In my humble opinion after watching today's game there would appear to be an agenda to prevent Rangers from stopping ten in a row, the blatant offside, the aggressive side to Hibs play and the smugness of Jack Ross smiling at the camera without looking into it. One could look at many other incidents including the SPFL attitude towards our club, however unless we play better and take every other equation out, we won't stop it. Gerrard has to do better, in my opinion he is letting better players leave and keeping ones that are not up to the task. One last thing coop or sgl I think we're both of the same generation so please come back. Thank you forever Rangers.

I must say though we need much more of a winning mentality in difficult games and if we sign another couple of players we need guys with winning experience, hopefully a real captain figure with a lot more self confidence than Tav, who can really inspire our players.

It was there to see against the amateur side Lincoln Reds, although we win 5-0 we struggled to dominate them as a decent side would have. Not winning the league this year unless changes are made. Will find William II and Galatasary difficult to beat.

The main problem is, we have to convert more than 16% of the chances created in a game, I agree about Ref's and Linesmen, we should be winning games with 70% possession. Barisic's defending is poor at present, he should have been closer to Boyle for the first goal, and Kamara gave the ball away far too often, Bassey should have replaced him at half time. I can't the criticism of Arfield, he was without doubt one of our better players today. We need to see what this next 7 days brings, if, and it's a big if, we slip up at Fir Park before they play, it would definitely be a disaster then, we are still top of the league tonight, so let's remain calm fellow bears, we need to be more alert at the back, and, sharper up front though, and, substitute earlier.

Kent was class KJA9, he wasn't being greedy at all. I thought fredo took his goal well but other than that he did nothing much else. I thought his passing and movement was poor. To be fair though he could have done with a bit of help up front, itten would have been ideal to help rough up the two CB's. Can't understand defoe for hagi. Our defensive was awful today. 👍.

A few points here.

1, goldson as good as he can be. He's a bomb scare at times and gives away the ball in bad places. One lead to the 2nd goal.

2, hagi for me not for this league, yes set up a goal. But not for this league.

4, Kent. They kept him at bay never got going a few wee movements. But players need to help him out at times.

Taking Hagi off for Defoe was a big mistake as well today. Hagi had created 3 or 4 great chances just prior to being subbed. Defoe is a great finisher but needs the service and Hagi was the man creating.

Well gerrard needs sat down and a serious chat. 1 sub by the 84th minute is a disgrace. 6 mins for itten is gerrard serious? How was Davis kept on? Using 2 out of 5 subs is a joke. I like gerrard but also he sat on his seat all day. Not good enough simple as that.

You would think Davis with all his experience would try a shot once in a while. So many times he gets the ball 20 yards out with time and passes instead of shooting. Really poor miss from Arfield near the end far too casual with 2nd shot. Goldson back to his usual.

3rd year of project Gerrard and no better domestically. Wont win anything with him as manager and quite simply 2 and 3 million pound players won't take us to the next level required to win this league.
If that's what we can afford so be it but forget about silverware and 10 is coming.

OK, it was a setback but it's a long season and we're going to have them. We're top of the league with some players still settling in. We hadn't conceded a league goal until today and one of the goals they scored was offside and their keeper made some two great saves.

This is an on going problem with Gerrard to slow to change . why crowed up front with three strikers making it easier for hibs to defend Morelos should've been of at 70 mins give definitely a chance to settle into game . as for the referees performance well the pull on Morelos on the edge of the box's should've been a yellow card resulting in a red but as usual the referees seem to be unable to pay the rules on persistent fouling especially against rangers.

That 2nd Hibs goal is an absolute nightmare. It’s 3 attacking 5. Tav and Arfield are both out on the winger which is fine. But you got to be aggressive in that situation. That cross CANNOT make it in! And the goal scorer drifts across 3 rangers defenders all caught watching the ball.

It’s a nightmare when the linesman doesn’t see the offside in the build up. Porteous should have seen red also. Massive decisions going against us every week without fail. The Tims keep going on about operation stop the ten. If that is referees trying to stop ten then they are making a proper c*** of it!

Goldsson second half performance was poor to say the least . in afraid without a true leader on the pitch games like today will happen it should've been 4-1 before they got there second goal the facts are Celtic have a second rate manager we have a rookie manager who doesn't seem to be learning an experienced ex manager beside Gerrard would've been a better idea than McAllister. we are constantly trying to walk the ball into the goal Kanara and Davis both guilty of not shooting today . there's a long way to go but we need to now go on a run and win every leauge game till Xmas . can this team do that? every team lift there game when they play us we all know that and with the referees not applying the persistent fouling rule games like today will happen we need to finish games off this one should've been finished long before we gifted them there second goal all very frustrating.
