Rumours in the media that PSV are interested in Doekhi in this window. If this is true then I think Rangers need to enter the bidding to sign him now.
He is a great ball playing defender who could be worth millions in a few seasons.
With Connor looking like he might be away this is one signing we can't afford to not get over the line, even if it means stumping up some cash right now.

Regarding Goldson, he's been great for us but maybe his dream move to the English Premiership is a dream to far. Did he think he would be in demand down there? I certainly haven't heard any Premier team enquiring about him. I did hear he requested quite a substantial pay increase. Time is running out big man but we are Rangers, no one is bigger than the famous.

Kendo what umean stump up cash now. It’s down to where does he want to be b.

3 main targets according to a lot of people on here Veerman Doehki and Olson and 30 or 40 makeweights as speculation which is fair enough at transfer window time.
We won't get any of them - -I've said previously (& I hope I'm wrong) that we won't be signing anyone that is a straight first team pick this month - we might get a couple of loans to fill the bench. I think the main negotiation at the Big Hoose just now is to try and hold what we have and don't let anyone walk out the door, who we can't afford to replace.

4.) 08 Jan 2022 12:34:41
We need to keep what we've got. 40 mil target to achieve. Then there will be real movement.

With a few days left of the transfer window I am underwhelmed by who we have signed. We have not improved massively and the strongest 11 is the same as last season.
Sakala might be a rough diamond but Lundstrum looks like Joey Barton in disguise.
I fear we will get left behind by not improving the first 11 and so far we look a little lacklustre.
The weekends result was excellent considering but Celtic will sign 2-3 first 11 players before the window shuts whereas we are standing still.

I don't get your thinking here, Celtic are losing 2 important starters to their already thin bare squad today. There replacing them with 3 unknown quantities who could take months to get up to speed and are definitely not going be as good as Edouard and Christie. Their bench had nothing on it on Sunday.

2.) 31 Aug 2021 13:36:04
Kendo, you are not getting it as we have no money! The only way we can get someone in is that we sell big! Another summer is going by, but and we haven’t sold anyone with the model of the club demanding transfer money in!

3.) 31 Aug 2021 13:38:04
A few days? It closes tonight at 11pm for Scottish clubs.

4.) 31 Aug 2021 13:46:05
Ger is it not midnight in Scotland it closes.

5.) 31 Aug 2021 14:02:32
The biggest win for our squad in terms of the transfer window will be keeping all our best players. The model is to move players on as we need money, if we don't sell someone then the board have to dig into their own pockets to balance the books. Maybe they think let's roll the dice and keep the best players, if we win the league its automatic entry to champs league. That would be better money than selling a Kamara or Kent for income.

6.) 31 Aug 2021 14:46:27
2300 it shuts John. Deals can be announced after but all paperwork has to be signed sealed and delivered by 11 mate.

7.) 31 Aug 2021 15:10:25
Well this is a great post 😬.

8.) 31 Aug 2021 15:49:52
I originally thought it was 11pm but the Sky ticker tape had 12 bells for Scotland 🤔.

9.) 31 Aug 2021 15:56:49
11pm shuts England 12midnight in Scotland.

Btw most teams in the world moan because they can’t hold onto their best players, on this site some moan if we ain’t selling! This board has galvanised the club moving it forward all the time we look progressive with Sponsorship etc and we won 55 which was massively against the odds so we clearly have a plan, if we really needed cash that bad and only had one bid we would have taken 8m for Patterson! Let’s have a little faith we’ve spent a fraction of that mob and they couldn’t beat us off form with half a squad after a trip to the moon n back! 🔴 ⚪️ 🔵.

12.) 31 Aug 2021 18:12:22
Few days? Few hours more like it.

13.) 31 Aug 2021 18:13:23
Looks like Borna is staying.

Roma have went elsewhere and Borna's family say he is staying at Rangers.

Is anyone else a little worried? We struggled to put Aberdeen, livi and hibs away so far this season. The other games we have won have been a canter but away games we struggle. The starting line ups are pretty much the team from last season (which wasn't good enough) .
I feel that if Morelos leaves the strikers we have will not be enough to win the big games. Anyone else agree?

2 draws and a win away from home. Not great but not disastrous either.

2.) 20 Sep 2020 16:35:00
Keep dreami g grumpy this teams nae chance said this all along.

3.) 20 Sep 2020 16:40:14
I absolutely agree kendo84 Itten has shown nothing at all and Roofe isn't a striker but what we really lack is a leader someone that will stand up and be counted when we’re getting kicked off the park like today a tough hard hitting CM captain material.

4.) 20 Sep 2020 17:02:51
Don’t worry we have Itten and Roofe! That should put the fear of death into any defence 😐.

5.) 20 Sep 2020 17:29:01
Mr Grumpy its 2nd in the league form were we are going finish unfortunately.

6.) 20 Sep 2020 18:18:34
Itten has had hardly a sniff, give the boy a chance. What did u expect from him in 5 mins again?

Hi fellow bears, I feel that too many are quick to write off docherty. As much as Arfield has been tremendous this season he cannot be the only midfielder to have attacking thoughts. Jack is certainly not going to chip in with 10 goals per season and I firmly believe that docherty could act as an understudy to Arfield next season. People saying that he wouldn't get into the midfield are correct but he is an able back up for a box to box midfielder.

He's still young and a season away from ibrox has hopefully done the young man good.

100% agree with that mate.

2.) 13 May 2019 21:10:51
Hope he comes good👍.

3.) 13 May 2019 21:54:07
I'm a fan of young greg docherty, but have to be honest as it's going to be difficult to get into our current midfield. Everyone of our players was at it against them yesterday and all deserve massive credit. The midfield as everyone knows is where you win or lose the game and we were very impressive in that area of the park yesterday! For once i was absolutely stumped as to who was the motm, as davis, jack, kamara and arfield were immense and destroyed their midfield. Winning that midfield battle with ease, was the platform for us to go on and win the game very comfortably! Stevie davis always demanding the ball in tight spaces and never gave it away, pulling the strings for us. Davo is playing superbly well now he's match fit and
he could keep the ball off you in a phone box! Kamara the snip of the season at 50k and just glides in midfield, playing with his head up,
ryan jack snapping away doing all the dirty work and winning the ball back constantly, an unsung hero for me at times. Then gerrard's best signing for me, the wonderful scotty arfield, who's the clever runner who gets beyond the striker, with his very intelligent timing of his runs,
the goalscoring, attacking midfielder, who just never stops moving and running! This midfield is absolute class!

4.) 13 May 2019 22:02:52
Super Gerrard was not the manager when we signed Arfield.

5.) 13 May 2019 22:26:23
I know the deal for arfield was done before gerrard was announced as our manager but he was asked about arfield being signed and he was more than happy to have arfield. that's why i count him in as 1 of stevie G's signings!

6.) 14 May 2019 09:55:31
Well u r wrong then. If he said he thought Sandy Jardine was great would I say he was a Gerrard signing.

If the rumour is true then both can leave the club. The rules have been set out to them for the off and with JJ and Ed being punished so severely you would have to be stupid to do as they did.

Hopefully it’s just rumour but a lot of media picking up on it now.

Really bad press in the run up to a big europa league tie.
