03 Jun 2020 22:57:23
I know that we do not know who will be in the squad at the start of the season, but does anyone have a preference for formation of the team? I would like to see a 3-5-2 or 3-5-1-1.

04 Jun 2020 06:12:22
Agreed, Gerard needs to change something as his predictable 4-3-3 stopped working after the break as teams had it figured out. That mob changed formation when they came back and then ran away with it.

04 Jun 2020 08:10:47
It all depends on the opposition we're playing mate and the best formation to break stubborn, defensive teams down. Again we have to be flexible and that old phrase,
'horses for courses'! 👍.

04 Jun 2020 12:13:08
That’s how I think dykes would be a good signing as he provides different options and would allow team to be more flexible.

04 Jun 2020 20:54:53
Agree gate 👍.

03 Jun 2020 21:48:26
Great to hear stewart Robertson explain our plans for the short term future, the future is indeed bright, i know i won't be asking for a refund, i want monies invested in squad .

03 Jun 2020 22:29:52
I'm the same as yourself loyalist,
i want my possible refund money invested in my club! I'm most definitely going to wave the chance of claiming my refund, but i won't be criticising fellow bears who can't/ won't! Everyone of us has different circumstances and that just has to be respected!

04 Jun 2020 07:25:59
Yeah SGL I have seen a lot of negativity on twitter of fans saying others won’t be true fans if they take refund, that’s not true. This corona virus situation could have crippled families and now £150 quid etc would seem like a massive amount to them, I have been lucky through all this and have came out of it better off than when it started but I’m aware others will be in a bad way. Each fan do what they need to do and support the club in any way if they can. I really hope we don’t lose good dedicated fans because they cannot afford to go to games anymore when this is over, those are the people I feel for.

04 Jun 2020 07:27:06
Likewise I won’t be asking for refund but absolutely respect people who do.
Everyone has different issues and family to feed.

04 Jun 2020 07:40:28
agree totally lads

I won’t be claiming any money back either as it’s apparent the funds are being used to help the club on and off the pitch

However we can't criticise anyone who does want a refund.

04 Jun 2020 12:56:41
I'm not a season ticket holder but can see both side yes we want the club to invest but instead of this £25voucher would it not be better all round if the club reduced the price of the season ticket by say £50. Then fans wouldn't be pressurised into not taking the refund out of loyalty.

04 Jun 2020 14:38:25
No iom. Club froze season ticket price for this year saving most fans 50 pounds.
Reduced price my get by 20% for season ticket holders gave us 25 voucher for merchandise or ticket for cup tie.
Propose deals for entrance to museum, Sports’s bar etc
They have offers to refund cost of last season games missed so r doing and giving plenty.
Not sure if u have had chance to watch interview with Robertson. It is way forward. .
I have not spoken to any gers fan who feels pressured
It hats me that our fans feel pressured yet every club is doing what we r doing.
In fact we r actually reversing our Tcs.

03 Jun 2020 21:09:54
Looks like good news is coming our way, just read this from Stewart Robinson "If anything, the scouting and recruitment team have been working harder than ever.

"And that's with a view to getting as strong as possible a team on the pitch for the start of the season.

"The scouting work has been extensive on that side of things and we're looking forward to some more announcements coming in the not too distant future.

03 Jun 2020 21:15:08
I was aware for a while the coaching and development dept had been doing a great job and scouting had been redeveloped and upgraded, hopefully we find players who want to play with the gers.

03 Jun 2020 21:31:06
We have some very good youngsters. I hope they get a chance this coming season.

03 Jun 2020 21:38:40
Upper watch the 18 minute interview, a lot to look forward to.

03 Jun 2020 22:31:27
Did you read that Tommy 1246 or did someone tell you? 🤔🤔.

03 Jun 2020 22:43:52
Behave coop 🤣🤣👍.

04 Jun 2020 01:08:54
Seems your not able to keep away warbs,
No I have a very close friend who was a coach at Ibrox for years, Covenanter will know him, I’m friendly with bomber brown, and my next door neighbor is a young sports reporter with the athletic, And in fact I used his ticket for the Leverkusen game as he was in the press box,
I tend to tell real stories my friend.

04 Jun 2020 08:14:14
We can all say that Tommy1246!My wife went to the same school as bomber brown, blackburn academy. I've met bomber a few times myself mate.

04 Jun 2020 08:25:18
Not really the season to bring in the young guys
Need experienced winners all over the team.

04 Jun 2020 13:35:54
Have they been scouting the Belarus league? 😂.

03 Jun 2020 20:38:48
If we can get 12million for Goldson and Kamara it will be good business and will give us some Transfer Funds instead going further in to debt>.

03 Jun 2020 20:57:53
Oaft, 12 million for those 2, are you serious mate? Not a chance in hell are they worth that. I understand us Rangers supporters want top dollar. With this C.V. certainly won't help their valuations.

03 Jun 2020 21:12:04
That is the valuation being bandied about. I did not make it.

03 Jun 2020 21:16:18
By whom? Figures are thrown around like a scud mag in the big hoose,

03 Jun 2020 21:55:03
We will certainly need funds anyway as there could be a big gaping hole if we don't sell a lot of season tickets.

03 Jun 2020 22:35:14
Again-Stuck? As I said on another thread, why are we so keen to tell Prospective buyers that our players are keich!

03 Jun 2020 23:07:08
Goldson and Kamara are both quite capable of securing us a transfer fee if £6m+ each, some people forget the fees that are paid in England and that will continue to be the case, even in the current times. The figures being mentioned are modest, especially in the case of Goldson where there would appear to be a number of suiters and he is well thought of. Kamara could well be a quality player but not in the SPL where he hacks the bottle for the battle, (something that could be said about a number of our current players sadly) .

04 Jun 2020 07:29:48
Good post Berkshire. U seem to understand how it all works.
I think we could get a good price for both.

04 Jun 2020 11:00:05
6m each
Goldson is a nightmare n a carthorse
Kamara average
Think over optimistic to expect anywer near 6m.

04 Jun 2020 13:38:17
Aye stuck, devalue our players in the best interests of the club as usual.

04 Jun 2020 13:55:42
Aye DK19, Just be honest as usual .

03 Jun 2020 20:00:39
Poll please

Does Gerrard go if Rangers do not win at least one cup next season?

{Ed033's Note -

Gerrard win Cup poll

03 Jun 2020 20:20:48
The league title is a must👍.

03 Jun 2020 20:36:49
I have to agree with coldo.

03 Jun 2020 20:59:43
My question is if our manager was anyone else rather than Gerrard then would he still be in a job?

03 Jun 2020 21:05:30
the stuck, you sound like sugar puff teeth.

03 Jun 2020 21:31:52
What's sugar puff teeth? I don't understand that.

03 Jun 2020 21:49:01
The Stuck - no probably not. Winning nothing in 2 seasons as Rangers manager is unthinkable - win nothing again next season then he'll definitely go.

03 Jun 2020 21:56:32
Skating on thin ice as it is. needs to have fantastic season next year. He either stops them winni g leage and becomes a legend or he leaves as one of our worst ever manager.

03 Jun 2020 22:00:12
Probably not stuck to be honest. 👍.

03 Jun 2020 22:04:30
I can’t believe people voted No to this. If we don’t win anything this season then he will definitely have to go. There is no two ways about it.

03 Jun 2020 22:05:34
Neil ĺèññòn.

03 Jun 2020 22:05:53
Following on from rfc98's poll there regarding steven gerrard's position if rangers don't win anything next season, let me ask everyone on here this. let's have it, who would you have/ want to replace steven gerrard as the next rangers manager, IF the worst case scenario were to happen next season? For the record imo stevie G will win the league next season!

03 Jun 2020 22:31:12
We'd have to wait to see who is available coop but we can't just keep a manager who wins nothing just because of who he is. If the unfortunate happened and Gerrard left then I'd want someone who is established and tactically astute, not another gamble. 👍.

03 Jun 2020 23:15:50
Any manger of the calibre that we should want should Gerard leave will not come without a cast iron guarantee of funding and so far Gerard has done admirably with a very poor squad and barely a first eleven. While I can understand the sentiments regarding the need for success, we cannot expect miracles. We need reinforcements, three or four players that can genuinely make a difference, winners, leaders, guys that will fight for the jersey. If Gerard is provided with that level of player then yes, the league is the minimum requirement, otherwise why replace someone that at least has the respect of his fellow professionals with another manager that is destined to fail!

04 Jun 2020 01:20:57
Mark Warburton for me, future England boss. So I was told,

04 Jun 2020 02:35:16
Coldo, for me it's got nothing to do with 'who he is'. When Gerrard came up here he inherited a wasteland in every sense, the playing staff, the coaching staff, the recruitment staff, the development staff, the burden of Fat Ashley, court cases, a stadium that was in a dilapidated condition and a board fighting and scrambling to attract income to improve us. That was just two seasons ago.
When Ferguson went to Man Utd he went to a club rich in resources and in money and it took him into his fourth year to get them back on track. Patience from the fans and the board paid off big time for them, and it will for us and Gerrard too.
We simply cannot demolish once again the building bricks being laid by our current management team to start again on a wing and a prayer with absolutely no guarantee of success. I want trophies and titles as much as the next fan, but I'd rather see first a stabilised, prosperous club that will serve the Rangers family well for another 150 years. So as far as I'm concerned, sacking Gerrard if we don't win the league next year will achieve nothing and would probably be yet another massive setback.
I supported my team when we won the league title just four times in more than 20 years. In my teenage years I never saw us winning the league at all. Right now we are visibly getting stronger in all departments and I am excited that our time is coming, maybe not as quickly as the glory hunters would like, but I will rejoice all the more when it does return. We ARE the people.

04 Jun 2020 06:03:26
Well said Covenanter.

04 Jun 2020 07:32:49
I know many will disagree. Our club is building something special as we return.
But SG is a big part of the brand and know matter what happens I would want him to stay.
He brings kudos to our great club. I’m hearing via a friend he will see our contract. He will be here 150 celebrations.

04 Jun 2020 07:33:42
I agree C.V. took a lot of pressure off of our manager as he was wobbling and fans were turning, however our club is moving forward in all areas at a much faster rate than it was now we have him, we are back on the map, better calibre if companies and people want involved with us and a lot of it is down to him and who he is.

Right now SG is good for for our club as we try to get the whole club in every way back to where it was before. And the visions for the future look fantastic and a lot of it will be in place for 150 year anniversary. We are moving forward as a club. A trophy is probably needed, we can’t get to obsessed by the 10 thing it could hinder our progress long term, we can win it though definitely on par with them head to head.

04 Jun 2020 08:19:08
Don't believe everything you're told Tommy 1246, its not a good idea. 😁.

04 Jun 2020 08:23:45
Superb post the covenanter, very well written mate and i'm in total agreement with you. I've been with rangers all the way through this very hard journey back and as long as we are moving forward to what will be our turn of dominance again,
i'm prepared to be patient for a wee while longer. For 40 odd years now i've followed my club through thick and thin and we will become the dominant team in scotland again, very soon imo, of that i've got little doubt!

04 Jun 2020 08:25:05
Brilliant post🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.

04 Jun 2020 08:26:43
Think its a no brainer if we don't stop 10 its the end for steven.

04 Jun 2020 08:28:46
I get that cov but we can't keep a manager just because it will set us back. If we are going nowhere in terms of winning the league then we will have to change it. It would do us more harm to keep a manager that isn't cutting it than it would to change it. This season Gerrard has to win the league or its time to move on. If Gerrard was someone else then there would a queue of fans calling for his head. 👍.

03 Jun 2020 17:51:29
Renata tapia at right back and push tav up to right wing?
Think this would be good every time tav goes forward it looks like something could happen just imagine if he was going forward there for the whole game I think he would be out standing.

03 Jun 2020 18:22:20
Who is that? I thought tapia was a fish,

03 Jun 2020 18:41:33
Tav can't cross and very rarely beats a man, wouldn't make sense to play him at rm. 👍.

03 Jun 2020 18:47:03
Delano every time tav goes forward we do expect something to happen, we lose ball, he is caught out off
Position. Opposition score.
If we want to win league we need better, not move players here to there.

03 Jun 2020 18:52:56
Or is it tilapia? Anyway, who is he mate.

03 Jun 2020 19:27:14
I thought tapia was a midfielder, is this guy from feyenoord or am I thinking of someone else? 👍.

03 Jun 2020 19:41:42
Tav would need to learn how to cross the ball.

03 Jun 2020 19:43:20
Tav as a winger - apart from fitness no other winger attributes. I think he could do a job in the middle of the park. He has one of the best engines in the team. Very good in the air, can tackle, is powerful and can brush people off and hold them off no bother. Perhaps he is not accurate enough with his passing or mentally quick enough for the midfield position otherwise IMO he would be in there. Maybe that's why he's ended up at RB.

03 Jun 2020 20:02:24
You're right coldo tapia is a peruvian defensive mid, who played against us for feyenoord, in this season's europa league group games mate. He did look a good player tbh.

03 Jun 2020 19:53:07
I would have to disagree TJBB, he can't tackle either and would be worse than useless in the cm position. 👍.

03 Jun 2020 20:03:02
Tav struggles to cross the ball, he struggles to defend and struggles to be our captain, so he'll probably be around for next season.

03 Jun 2020 20:05:26
Tapia is feyenoord midfielder.

03 Jun 2020 20:41:52
Covenanter may have a better idea of players changing positions and the shape of a team changing, the shape is the most important thing in any team imo, Gerard got the shape all wrong a few times against selling but changed and ran amok, great pity about cup final as that was a travesty, but I’m not sure about changing a guys natural game, maybe aging midfielder aye,

03 Jun 2020 21:00:25
When will this nonsense about Tav being a midfielder ever end? If your idea was that great surely Gerrard or a previous manager would have tried it out. Tired of saying it, he does not have the attributes to be a creative midfielder, full stop.

03 Jun 2020 21:32:17
Most folks wanted him to be right mid. I suggested center mid as a ball winner with a good engine however ended to say he obviously hasn't got what it takes hence ended up at RB. There is no doubt he could do a job in centre mid or another position for some other team but not for Rangers just now. Please note there are examples of wing-backs in the latter parts of their careers switching to the less energetic role of the holding midfielder.

03 Jun 2020 21:34:11
Is Tapia not a character from Bad Boys?

03 Jun 2020 21:40:35
Coldo he. Is a midfielder so poster wants him out of position as well as tav.

03 Jun 2020 22:43:15
Guys just reading a few of these posts, 1 or 2 potential green people, I'm really worried now, as our Manager still thinks Tavernier is Captain material, so, somebody's got something very wrong, for me, I trust our Manager and the Board to get it right.

03 Jun 2020 23:21:43
Irvger hits the nail on the head for me. The issue is not Tav the full back, it is Tav the leader. We need a captain that leads by example, that motivates those around him and shows the way when needed. Players like John Greig, Souness, Butcher, Gough, Amoruso, that is what we need! There is not one leader in the team and there is a lack of a winning mentality that needs to change!

04 Jun 2020 13:27:54
Tav is a wing back nothing else.

04 Jun 2020 13:28:07
woho coldo's back. or did he ever leave?

04 Jun 2020 13:31:28
Great in the air and strong? Sorry tjbb but think you are watching someone else mate.

04 Jun 2020 13:33:05
Tavs mince we need a right sided Barisic, tav flatters to deceive, he was good going forward the season before last because he and the candy man had a great understanding but he’s never been a great defender certainly not a captain I’d happily take a couple of mil for him.

03 Jun 2020 17:26:00
according to reports i read dave cormack of the sheep has said that supporters will be allowed back to watch football in november, since when has he become the man in the know, and while we are on the subject of reconstruction i read that doncaster has written to the top two divisions to ask if they would be open to reconstruction for 5 years, so much for there being no strings attached to the philanthropists magical good deed to help the struggling clubs, t doncaster has no morals an absolute lowlife.

03 Jun 2020 17:42:10
I would that thought the country would be phase 3 by August as it’s it’s highly likely the schools will be back. On phrase 3 there is some spectators allowed to attend live events.

03 Jun 2020 18:27:35
Watch the utter desperation to play out the Scottish cup, they can’t wait, it’s so sickening watching them do everything they possibly could to hand their paymasters everything they want, only the spell could get everything so very wrong.

03 Jun 2020 19:20:06
Tommy how can you play out the Scottish Cup when the teams don’t have the same players. Sporting integrity is very important to Septic😡🇬🇧.

03 Jun 2020 20:05:24
How can you play the Leagues?

03 Jun 2020 21:18:27
Eh? What leagues?

04 Jun 2020 13:26:15
I think the rules state no large gatherings so Aberdeen should be absolutely fine to allow their season ticket holders back into the ground 👍🏻.

03 Jun 2020 16:34:07
Good to see our club are going to be giving existing season ticket holders who've renewed, free access to watch the stream games for the upcoming season. There's an official announcement on this from the club later today i'm hearing. I got an email from club1872 on this earlier this afternoon stating just this.

03 Jun 2020 17:14:41
Are you a member of club 1872,?

03 Jun 2020 17:34:46
SGL i have a feeling we won't even see 25k renewals this season. can't honestly blame anybody. Some peoples financial situation will dicatate this. Between 400 and 700 odd note to not actually go to any games. Club could easily lose over 10 mill through all this.

03 Jun 2020 17:43:08
Problem with that is even if it’s free access it’s hardly fair on households with 2 or 3 season ticket holders.

03 Jun 2020 17:50:58
You work it out for yourself Tommy1246.All you do is constantly have a go at genuine bears on here,
who contribute to what is a RUMOURS page incase you forgot. So until you have an input, instead of trying to mock anyone else, i won't be responding to anything you ask me ok! Its water off a duck's bag as you will probably know when you're having a go at me, because i'm a longtimer on here, but your post having a go at rossco was way out of order my friend!

03 Jun 2020 19:02:36
Being a long timer doesn’t make you like part of a gang mate:

I often really enjoy the lengths you go to, and actually I’ve been on here just as long, , I do remember the statue and the “ next England manager”, always a laugh,
No need taking the huff, you have no problem giving it out my friend, as many will testify, I even remember people like wee bill and George and the guy from Southampton. There’s no need not to respond because that actually defies the logic and whole point of a banter page, put it this way mate, what would you say if Michael Stewart came on here and said he isn’t replying to you because you called him vile names? Which you did, btw, you would slaughter him again would you not? , my friend.

03 Jun 2020 19:22:51
Very strange posts Tommy and do you either have a boil or pimple on your arse or maybe Rangers Rumours isn’t for you? 🇬🇧😇.

03 Jun 2020 20:52:55
No mate, it’s people who spend years making things up or reading them and starting with “ a director friend of mine, or I was told last night by blah blah blah,

I’m pretty sure this guy has totally ripped people apart on here, can’t take it back, tough,
Tell me anyone else who was privy to discussions from Adidas to under armour?

03 Jun 2020 22:12:07
I don't think he made it up or said he was privy to anything tommy, you can tell by coop's posts that he talks to everyone around him at ibrox and he's obviously involved with member clubs to do with us, he's just passing on what has been discussed with others. No harm no foul as they say. Sometimes he's too loyal to those who play for us but that's just who he is. Whereas I lose the plot and have very little patience for players or managers who I don't think are pulling their weight. I call it out and sometimes we clash because of it. End of the day we all want to Rangers to win. Enjoy the madness👍.

03 Jun 2020 22:12:17
Personal question Tommy1246, what's your problem pal? I put info on hear that i have heard or been told, to share it with fellow bears! What's your game my friend?

03 Jun 2020 22:51:27
Guys, C'mon it's all about opinions, but, we all want. or certainly most of us do to see our team be successful again.

04 Jun 2020 13:22:57
true Paul86 on top of that we won't get much or ant money from europe that's a worrie as we used that for 3 season to pay for Kent our games work out about £25/ 30 a game you can stream line for free so it isn't that great a deal.

03 Jun 2020 14:47:11
Am at my wits end with the dr. I have not bought this paper for years now. Can i ask all of the family to not buy this rag and also spread the word for others not to buy it.

03 Jun 2020 13:29:36
RFC 98
Coldo

Glad some folk agree with me on the fact right now we have nothing to be happy about

As you say RFC98
More serious money can be spent by Gerrard and if he delivers nothing he can walk away!

I would like to know why a lot of folk on here think it's going to be different this year?

Celtic can spend a few million on a few players and can improve there team again

How much do we need to spend? How many players do we really need to make a proper challenge and by winning games from start to finish of a season to have any proper chance?

So we're going to possibly still have tav as captain? Pretty much the same defence that was letting silly goals in 2nd half of season until lockdown

And pretty much the same midfield and forwards?

He can't change a whole team but the majority of that team have proven two season in a row now there good enough and don't have the fight for a full on challenge

So why is this season going to be different

Guys I don't have answers. It majority on here have a lot of faith in players who have not shown faith in themselves or the club

So why do you all have faith in this current crop of croppers?

IS there a problem with scouts at the club
Steven Gerrard loyal can you answer that question or john25
Anyone can anyone tell me is there a problem with scouting at the club?

Someone already mention shankland was scouted over 10 times and we thought better of it but now some think he's worth spending a couple million on 🤔🤔.

03 Jun 2020 14:30:41
How about waiting to see who we sign this summer? 🤔
Who on this site have ever claimed the way rangers played/ performed after Xmas was acceptable 🤔
You keep going on about scouting. Have there been mistakes in signing players? Yes but that happens at pretty much every club.
Shankland. Just because some folk on here think we should sign him, doesn't mean we will.
Why do a lot of people on here have faith in the team and SG?
The form we showed before xmas.
Our performances in Europe.

03 Jun 2020 14:43:00
Good God, after reading that post I am wanting my Season Ticket money back and getting my tattoo scrubbed over! Don’t you get where our club has been over the last 10 years. I am so grateful the position the club is in at the moment and I will always follow the Rangers!

03 Jun 2020 15:08:55
Stigno I don’t know if a problem with scouts u may note I asked that at the weekend, if we watch shankland mNy times and don’t sign on free either he is not rated by our scouts or don’t know their job.
Also did a scout recommend Barker or was that a mark Allen production
Until scouts find a few gems, make lots of money or win leagues they won’t get credit.

03 Jun 2020 15:23:24
I wouldn't say that we don't have anything to be happy about stig, but I do agree that domestically we have under achieved due to gerrard being unwilling/ stubborn to change formation and tactics. When he makes a sub its usually too late or its like for like. He is far too reluctant to change it or drop his favourites. However there has been many positives, europe and playing celtic off the park. We need three or four more leaders in the team. I think tav should not be captain, he just doesn't have it. This a big year for Gerrard. let's hope he has learned because he won't get a fourth year. 👍.

03 Jun 2020 15:24:49
Brandon barker was undoubtedly a mark allen signing. Do you guys not think its possible that we've continued scouting/ watching shankland regarding how he does going up levels before possibly making a move for him?

The comments made by our DoF today clearly suggests that he is unhappy with the previous level of scouting in the Club and I am encouraged to see that he is in the process of appointing full time scouts across Europe. We are forgetting that we have had to build a new team and I am sure that Gerard knows that we are not there yet. The total lack of a Youth Team System and the pathetic signings made in the days of McCoist has undoubtedly left us with a need to play catch up and I was certainly encouraged with what I saw from the team before Christmas although I would be the first to admit that we still don't have an effective squad. I believe that we will see more signings this close season and I am hopeful that we will see winners and leaders which is something that I believe we need.

SGL I get your post re scouting shankland however we r not cash rich. Say he goes to Aberdeen and scores 25 becomes worth 5 million we should not buy.
Your man dykes a much better option.

03 Jun 2020 19:59:43
I do totally agree with you there John25, regarding lyndon dykes being the better option. I've constantly said dykes within scottish football would be the first choice striker i'd want us to sign pal! 👌👍.

Listen I will always follow them too But I’m a moaning face fit and l would like to see a winning side some silverware and at very least run that mob to the very last game
That’s what at least we should be aiming for

I’ll wait and see who we sign. It a lot of players signed already haven’t had the quality to fight the whole season through not even when we play a half season 😁

Guys I just want to wipe some smirks of that mobs faces
Lennon. And brown especially

I’ll moan to the cows come home it won’t change the team or it’s performance but it makes me feel better haha.

03 Jun 2020 21:12:15
Mrgrumpy

I see where your coming from with performance before Xmas and our run in Europe
Then we look at the way there heads went down for what ever reason after Xmas 2 years running

Makes me want to scream.

03 Jun 2020 21:21:27
Spot on Coldo. We need three or four leaders in the team. And we need a captain who is brave and inspires.

Tav is not remotely mentally strong enough to be leading us in one of the most important seasons ever at Ibrox. If we start the season with him wearing the armband I'll be joining the pessimistic brigade.

03 Jun 2020 22:59:37
Yately and Coldo, spot on guys, we have done well to be back performing at the current level, however, I also agree SG has to prove he can change the system for certain games, or, indeed, during a game. I'm hopeful for this season, but then I'm a glass half full guy.

04 Jun 2020 13:29:04
Stigno what about Castore deal, Hagi deal, over 10k in my Gers Membership, Ashley gone, Season tickets still selling even during C.V.
Mate for once try and look at the positives you’re like a happiness Hoover at times! If we signed messi you’d find a way to put a downer on it.

Very saddened to hear this morning, of the sudden passing of our former italian midfielder rino gattuso's younger sister Francesca, at the age of only 37😞💔. My sincere condolences to rino and all the gattuso family and all friends, my heart 💓 goes out to you all, god bless! 🙏🙏.

03 Jun 2020 13:17:49
I'll second that. Horrible news.

03 Jun 2020 13:31:46
Terribly sad.

03 Jun 2020 15:24:53
Terrible news. Thoughts with Gattuso and his family. 👍.

03 Jun 2020 21:26:22
Terribly sad, a young lady, in her pomp, taken from her family at such a young age,

03 Jun 2020 21:43:58
What happened to her.

03 Jun 2020 23:16:53
Ver sad news of someone so young, God Bless.

03 Jun 2020 06:05:34
Without using google can you name any rangers player past or present that has every vowel in his name?

03 Jun 2020 08:24:21
Kerimoglu Tugay.

03 Jun 2020 09:14:12
Aye Iggle,

someone called AEIOU mate.

03 Jun 2020 09:45:51
Today Kerimoglu I think?

03 Jun 2020 09:46:18
Tugay Kerimoglu that should have read.

03 Jun 2020 09:47:24
Iain Ferguson?

03 Jun 2020 10:13:21
that greek fullback we had in 3rd division, anestis agriou ( or something like that )

03 Jun 2020 11:38:52
Reyna and Diouf.

03 Jun 2020 10:36:06
Was going to say the Greek boy too, he had most of the alphabet!

03 Jun 2020 11:48:52
Paul Gascoigne.

03 Jun 2020 13:11:18
Duncan Fergusonni?

03 Jun 2020 13:29:57
O Andrei Kanchelskis.

03 Jun 2020 13:07:17
Ha ha, Leon has an advantage. With his in depth studies of Rangers and our history he will rattle of dozens of players in jig time.

03 Jun 2020 15:32:04
Gennaro Ivan Gattuso.

03 Jun 2020 16:19:28
Aeiou brown, he had very big vowels.

02 Jun 2020 23:40:53
As the lad Taylor has been slaughtered by the mass of football coaches, scout, managers and all round professional football people, I would ask this, if Taylor is out of contract with Charlton, and has agreed a massive move to Rangers, what would you say if he broke his legs playing for Charlton whei he didn't have to? Some people seem to think he's just said fu, I've got a new club and I'm not playing, , and it's my understanding that he is highly regarded in football circles.

03 Jun 2020 03:54:46
He is under contract with games available to play whilst his contract is still valid, I am not saying he’s wrong or slating him but it’s a fact he is under contract while Charlton have at least two games when season starts up again and contract ending. if contracted you would expect a player normally to be available until it ends, they are also in a relegation fight.

03 Jun 2020 07:43:34
Forgive me who is this taylor we are talking about?
Never heard of him.

03 Jun 2020 08:00:02
Have you never watched the english championship highlights tilladie?
If you did watch it, you must have seen lyle taylor scoring for charlton!

03 Jun 2020 09:36:56
I agree Coully, that if he is still under contract he must play and give his all then he can leave with his head held high but I assume he feels he cannot give his all and is letting his manager know this. From a purely selfish point of view if he is to sign for Rangers I want him to arrive fit and ready to go.

03 Jun 2020 10:27:02
I know stats never paint the full picture regarding any player, but lyle taylor's stats are very impressive indeed fellow bears. It reads 36 goals in 67 games with 14 assists! 👍To summarise it lyle taylor has been directly involved in 50 of the goals, out of the 67 games he's played for charlton athletic.
That is terrific stats guys, no matter which way you look at it! 👌.

03 Jun 2020 10:43:14
To be honest I have never heard of him or saw him play, I can't help think of players like waghorn garner etc when the championship is mentioned, gives me the fear👍.

03 Jun 2020 10:44:43
His recent stats are not badsgl but have you checked his career stats?

03 Jun 2020 11:31:08
regularly done and would not believe bowyer anyway. seems quite a few want away.

03 Jun 2020 10:41:35
If we were paying a couple of million for him Charlton might not want to play him, the risk is the same.
We are not exactly on the top of Lee Boyers Xmas card list anyway.

03 Jun 2020 16:21:41
Bowyer has stated without Taylor they wouldn’t be in the championship, I am slightly concerned that the other mob may be his big move, or a prem team.

03 Jun 2020 21:46:04
Coldo imo Taylor a better footballer than wag horn.
