C of Ibrox, Rangers said 'no active discussions' which suggests some sort of discussions have previously taken place. I believe that Lille made an offer of £13million, we turned it down flat and now we're waiting for them to make another move, hence no active discussions right now.

St Johnstone have a couple of decent loan signings from Millwall who came up the road with the new manager. Although our record in recent seasons in this fixture is poor expect a win tonight. Morelos to start although Roofe and Ltte both fit and available and look forward to seeing them.

I won't be surprised if next season we see bids from us and the Tims for Kevin Nesbit. He is a big Rangers man too so hopefully that might give us the edge. I can see him having an outstanding season for Hibs. He was kind of in the shade of Shankland during the preseason chat about strikers. I have no doubts he will shine brighter than Shankland this year in the premiership. The lad is a natural goal scorer. Nothing fancy just bags of goals!

A bit of perspective needed. Leverkusen have players valued close to 100 million. Give the team a break. They have been outstanding in even getting to this stage. We shouldn't be sniping at our players for losing to a team that may win the competition. I am proud of the Teddy bears. Roll our sleeves up and get ready to do it all over again.

Agree to an extent mate, but we paid them far too much respect tonight. Never laid a glove on them. needed energy in middle of park and went with davis, who looks like the legs have well and truly gave up. On the plus side, no injuries to deal with for sunday and 90 mins in big helander legs. was a good achievement going all the way to last 16.

I give a toss. You don’t think it’s important we have players who love and understand our club? It’s no coincidence that we won 9 in a row when we had players who would run through brick walls for us. Goram, Gough, John Brown, Ian Ferguson, Souness, McCall, Durrant and McCoist to name a few. There is a difference between saying a Rangers fan and Protestants you know. I think it’s very important we have a team filled with die hard RANGERS FANS. If that makes me a dinosaur, then so be it!
