Watching stairway 13 on bbc1 😥😥 very sad.

28 Dec 2020 23:05:08
Same. Heart wrenching. I will spare a thought for them on the 2nd.

28 Dec 2020 23:32:46
Never realised it was on tv tonight Paul86.
I'll try catch it BBC iplayer tomorow. 😥
Always remembered🔴⚪🔵.

29 Dec 2020 07:50:07
Andy it is already on bbc iplayer mate, disclosure stairway 13 its called. raise a glass to absent friends.

29 Dec 2020 08:30:54
Didn't know it was on but caught the end of it last night. Big Robert McAdam from Denny was a man I knew well and liked. Hailed as a hero here for saving the young lad he took to the game. The big fella lifted the boy up and threw him over a fence to safety before succumbing to the crush. I remember Peter Easton's mum describing her son and what kind of boy he was on a programme a few years ago. He and his pals were from a snall villagd in Fife and were all killed. Had me in floods of tears. Absolutely tragic. I will be raising a glass to every one of them on Saturday. God bless 😪❤💙🇬🇧.

29 Dec 2020 08:41:00
i still remember the crush on those stairs and feeling myself being carried down with my feet off the floor, and also using the grass to get down safely, god bless those poor people, my dad was in there and we waited for ages for him to get home.

29 Dec 2020 10:17:51
Tom, I remember going to a cup semi final at Hampden in the early seventies. I think it was against Hibs and we lost to a late goal from John Brownlie. There were well over a hundred thousand at that match and I remember getting caught in the crush on the way out. My feet were actually off the ground. Never been as scared in my life. Luckily nobody went down or it would have been carnage.

29 Dec 2020 12:42:18
Question for the older lads who remember why was this never rectified after what happened in 61?

29 Dec 2020 13:25:12
Don't know Paul, but I can remember some really scary moments when I almost got separated from my dad on the way out of a ground. It happened at most grounds where there were big crowds, not just Ibrox. I guess it took the 1971 tragedy at Ibrox to change the way we watch football forever. And remember H&S was almost non existent then. The clubs would not get away with what happened back then regarding crowds entering and leaving.

29 Dec 2020 13:43:26
Seeker we as a club thanks to Mr Waddell reacted to the ibrox disaster by reconstruction
Many other clubs were slow and did not react tilll after hills borough
How many remember the Scottish cup semi final on the same day when a wall collapsed at park head injuring many off our fans.

29 Dec 2020 14:58:32
Aye John it was indeed Mr Waddell who carried the torch for change and without him we would not have our magnificent stadium.

28 Dec 2020 21:01:21
Fellow bears, i'm just after reading an article with stats as to which midfielder is currently the best completion passer in the scottish premiership. Its billed as glen kamara V callum mcgregor 🤔Both these midfielders in my eyes are class/ quality midfielders 👌I'm not like biased celtic fans who continually make an absolute a**e of themselves, not admitting how good some of our players are 🤔 I myself think callum mcgregor is a quality midfielder and easily their best midfielder!
However hand on heart, i rate kamara better than mcgregor and that will be proven further when kamara is eventually sold by rangers 🤔
Kamara actually has a slightly better pass completion stat than mcgregor but mcgregor has a slightly better key pass completion,
over kamara! Ok bears take the blue tinted specs off for a second here and give your honest opinions, to who you rate the better midfielder, glen kamara V callum mcgregor and the reasons for your choice 🤔🤔.

28 Dec 2020 21:25:57
Think kamara is the better player mate. I rate mcgregor very highly and for me he was the best player in the league for a while but this season he’s fell away and kamara has emerged into a top class midfielder. Taking nothing away from McGregor he’s a top player also. For me kamara is the best player in Scotland along with Edourd borna and tav. I actually can see mcgregor leaving Celtic in the summer I think they may
Lose him and Christie and edouard so they could have a big rebuild on there hands but also a lot of money to spend. I think we’ll also lose kamara and barasic, possibly Alfredo so both teams will have a lot of money to spend but will lose there’s best players. Will be an interesting summer and next season could be the best and most exciting since O’Neil and advocaat we’re going at it.

28 Dec 2020 22:06:04
It's got tobe McGregor for me. He has been a key part of the team that has won everything and consistently has provided a high level of performance. Kamara, has been brill this season however for that key part of the season last season he was constantly getting dropped due to poor form. Also think that Kamara is more likely to make a mistake that leads to losing a goal.

28 Dec 2020 22:49:24
If i'm totally honest I think CM edges Glen due to pace but that's it. Time will tell who goes on to be the most successful but you can't deny CMs success so far. Both very good players.

28 Dec 2020 23:45:14
Truthfully, at this moment in time and given Kamara has shown inconsistency previously it’s McGregor for me. He is an excellent modern midfielder, able to play both holding and attacking mid. He’s positive, can drive forward, play killer passes and shoot from distance. That said, Kamara is perhaps at this time in his career a different type of midfielder. He has great potential to develop and move onto a different league where his abilities will be better suited. Kamara for me is naturally balanced, classy and technically gifted, perhaps even more so than McGregor. with time he can maybe develop the more positive aspect to his game, killer passes, shooting from distance etc. Overall McGregor shades it for me simply as he currently influences a game note than Kamara.

28 Dec 2020 23:53:46
I would say McGregor to be honest as he has the killer pass a lot more than kamara has both very good players.

29 Dec 2020 08:34:24
McGregor is a good player but I think Kamara is the better all round player. McGregor is more of a goal threat but tends to disappear in games whereas Glen always seems to be involved and covers every blade of grass. All about opinions.

29 Dec 2020 08:58:36
I have to say CM is just the better for me due to consistency but GK perhaps edging it this season
I reckon CM will need to move at end of season though or risk becoming a Paul Mcstay type who wasted his best years at Celtic ( just my opinion)

29 Dec 2020 09:22:57
Coops, different types of players and passes completed is not the most appropriate metric to measure them by. McGregor is fast offensive midfielder with an an eye for a goal. Kamara much more of defensive cover midfielder with terrific balance and skill. Both equally good in their roles although would expect McGregor to sell at higher transfer valuation. Having said that the performances of Kamara over last 10 games have been excellent and for me me he makes our strongest 11.

28 Dec 2020 19:19:08
Coops, see that the lad Campbell running down his contract at Motherwell. Recall earlier in year you thought he would strengthen our midfield.

28 Dec 2020 19:30:22
Good lord bankie I hope not.

28 Dec 2020 20:07:14
Bankie i didn't say he would strengthen our midfield, i stated i was told by a motherwell youth coach, that we were showing an interest in him my friend, i wish you would digest things that are correct 🤔I honestly don't understand/ get you at times bankie 🤔 I also stated that IMO i reckoned alan campbell was every bit as good, if not better than lewis ferguson 🤔I know you keep a diary of my posts, so go back and re-read pal!

28 Dec 2020 20:21:42
Crazy people actually thought that. 😂😂😂.

28 Dec 2020 20:23:13
Nope let him go anywhere else but ibrox.

28 Dec 2020 20:23:58
This lad's only redeeming factor is that, according to transfermarkt, this season he has played for 1690 minutes.

28 Dec 2020 21:10:41
SGL he couldn’t lace ferguson boots in my opinion.

28 Dec 2020 21:21:22
With the man City game off tonight due to C.V., I fear for the rest of the season.

28 Dec 2020 21:31:23
Thats your opinion KJA9, which of course you're perfectly entitled to.
I actually saw campbell playing ferguson off the park in the 2 motherwell v aberdeen games prior to the window closing in october! I honestly think ferguson wouldn't get near a starting place in our midfield and for the record neither would campbell 🤔.

28 Dec 2020 21:39:00
What efriar? A game in ENGLAND is off therefore the rest of the season in SCOTLAND is in danger? Strange post, considering games have been called off in Scotland already this year because of C.V. and yet, here we are still continuing to play.

Honestly don't see your logic.

28 Dec 2020 22:32:52
Agree Coops Ferguson wouldn’t get on our bench.

28 Dec 2020 23:42:05
If the new strain gets a grip in Scotland then they couldn't possibly continue if a few players stepped out of line, there are truck drivers and plenty other working people travelling between the countries every day, so anything that happens in England is very likely to occur in Scotland, efriars logic is an opinion and a very valid one too.

29 Dec 2020 08:52:41
Still not sure u agree tom. One game in england gets called off and it affects us? We have had more matches postponed/ forfeited due to C.V. this year and the league is still being played. Saying if it gets a grip in scotland is totally understandable, but jumping the gun when its 1 game in England doesn't prove his logic. That's an entirely different point tbh.

28 Dec 2020 19:09:54
Alright guys time to move on from hibs debate what’s your score tomorrow.

I think they will try the same as the other week team selection will be important I hope he doesn’t make too many changes because 3 points is important am going for 2-0.

28 Dec 2020 19:18:01
Think we will be out for revenge and a lot of players will have to stake their clams
For old firm game. I go 4-0 with hagi putting in a top performance to pick homes in that stubborn st mirren side.

28 Dec 2020 19:27:07
KJA9 whose playing tomorrow?

28 Dec 2020 20:08:51
I'm going for rangers 2-0, with roofe and tav scoring the goals 🤔.

28 Dec 2020 20:24:14
Bankie I don’t know what day it is thought it was Tuesday tonight 🙈 so Wednesday then.

You could have said your thoughts instead of being a smart ass.

28 Dec 2020 20:54:18
Apologies KJA9, I’m waiting to hear update on injuries and who is available to play. If we play a strong side and are fully prepared and on the zone we will win. Expect Morelos to start and provide him with opportunity to prove he is good enough to be considered for Celtic at the weekend.

28 Dec 2020 18:31:58
I have seen a lot of posts recently regarding Ryan Kent, i agree he has not been as decisive and incisive as we had hoped in all games this season but by god I am sure we will see him terrorise Celtic next Saturday as he is a big game player and it is time to show them that we are back where we belong, Kent and Roofe to link up and score, and although i have criticised Morelos this season he looked very good when he came on Saturday, get him in amongst them and i believe he will break his duck if given the chance, c'mon the Gers!

28 Dec 2020 18:59:12
Gregory202, need to get 3 points against St Mirren before thinking about Celtic.

28 Dec 2020 19:01:53
That would be my front 3 for Sat.
Kent Morelos Roofe.

28 Dec 2020 20:11:28
Totally agree Scotty123👍🇬🇧.

28 Dec 2020 18:06:47
Looking at the Jan window if airfield out for any length of time and Jack being injury prone I'd expect a mid in either on loan or signed. Maybe lundstram or Johnstone.

28 Dec 2020 19:04:16
Lundstrum won’t come to the summer as he still plays for sheff Utd and they don’t need the money and if he helps them stay up (which is looking unlikely) would be better than any transfer.

28 Dec 2020 19:24:25
KJ we will sign him on a pre contract, then attempt to bring him in for about 1.5.
Also loan to buy forward.

28 Dec 2020 20:12:32
What forward do you reckon John25 🤔.

28 Dec 2020 20:26:50
I wouldn’t pay 1.5 million for someone you are getting free in the summer we have enough CM for the season I would think that would be wasting money to be honest.

Loan to buy forward? We have 4 already.

It’s another winger we need/ right forward.

28 Dec 2020 21:09:48
I have no idea SGL, we need someone right sided but may move for Kent’s replacement
Olsen name does not go away.

28 Dec 2020 21:11:45
kJ I’m told we will bring someone in January, so I’m guessing re lundstrum, I know we have scouted him a couple off times since august.

28 Dec 2020 21:29:05
A really hope rangers go and get a really good winger and hopefully keep Kent on his toes.

28 Dec 2020 21:29:58
kJ I actually think we r light in the middle,
Jack and now arfield injury, aribo and hagi more forward players for me.
Kamara and Davis can’t play every game, zungu I’m not sure.
I dread we see zungu and aribo starting in midfield together, like st mirren game, not a great combination for me.

28 Dec 2020 17:41:27
Masterclass against St Johnstone and instinctive strikers goal to secure points against Hibs. Young Hagi coming strong at critical part of the season.

28 Dec 2020 17:58:11
One thing that I have noticed with Hagi is he is deffinately starting to bulk up a bit up top. Getting much stronger looking at his biceps and chest. He's still a rubbishbag when going for a 50/ 50 tackle which I don't like but here's hoping he can continue his progress and have a good finish to the season.

28 Dec 2020 18:18:05
3cheers he is doing loads of work in gym with aribo, Bassey Morelos,

28 Dec 2020 18:18:54
Av been very critical of hagi lately but last 2 games think he’s been great definitely looking stronger hopefully he can keep it up.

28 Dec 2020 18:32:19
I'd be interested to understand where you get access to each player's fitness regime and gym time, John25. Do you work at the training centre?

28 Dec 2020 19:04:55
Tavs is there any need for that?

28 Dec 2020 19:13:05
Tav, John25 is almost a “trusted source” on here and has well established record of providing informed opinion.

28 Dec 2020 19:27:56
Cheese oh tav on loyal do u ever listen to manager and players.
Manager says how hard hagi has been working in gym to build his upper body which he is required to do for Scottish game.
Also aribo talking about how hard he works in gym with Bassey and Alf and it’s a contest between him and Bassey.

28 Dec 2020 19:31:36
Cheers bankie that is kind words.

28 Dec 2020 19:34:15
Defo been a change for the better in Hagi. He looks fitter, sharper and stronger. Couldn't come at a better time tbh.

28 Dec 2020 20:24:14
Although john did call it wrong the other day about helander not getting dropped after benfica away. So i will sat 98% of the time its good info 😁.

28 Dec 2020 20:31:34
John25, I do indeed listen to the manager but I didn't hear that particular one. I am sorry if such an innocent question (I really was interested in someone with your sort of insight) but seeing as it offended both yourself and your sidekicks, maybe I'll just refrain from commenting on your collective pearls of wisdom and expert knowledge on all things Rangers.

28 Dec 2020 21:13:18
Paul I get it wrong a lot, and don’t throw my toys put off the Priam when corrected, always happy to be corrected.

28 Dec 2020 21:16:58
Not offended mate, but it’s been well talked about in interviews re gym work of certain players.
Hagi was according to SG given a very extensive weights programme by our sport scientists when we signed him in the summer.
It was about toughing him up for the Scottish game as rangers felt he was too easily knocked off the ball when on loan.
Similar re joe aribo.

28 Dec 2020 21:17:37
I'm sorry guys I just don't get the hype over hagi, too slow for the Scottish game, on Saturday he scored a very important goal for us but that aside I thought he offered very little as is the case in the majority of games he plays, he disappears for chunks of games, too weak as well and I worry if he plays on Saturday-the assists stat is misleading, I'd love the boy to succeed but I don't think he's suited to Scottish football or good enough.

28 Dec 2020 21:32:56
Jack boy can you explain how the assist stats are misleading.

29 Dec 2020 23:06:10
OK I will, if player a dribbles past 6 men and lays it on a plate for a striker but he fluffs the chances then player a has no assists, player b could lay a ball off 5 yards to another player who rockets it in from 25 yards and player b would have an assist so it can be misleading, very few of hagis assists are anything of note such as a mazy dribble or a defence splitting pass (going by your way of thinking glen kamara has an assist for kemar roofes goal in liege) I'm saying the boys surname and skewed statistics are blinding the fans to a player who is too light, slow and not good enough for us, and before I get any abuse I wish the boy was good enough, all I care about is the team winning, not being a sycophant over every individual player.

28 Dec 2020 14:04:40
I know there was plenty debate on here regarding if hibs should have had a penalty or not, with hagi's high foot challenge 🤔 Former top referee dermott gallagher said today that wullie column got the decision spot on as it wasn't a penalty because there was no contact!

28 Dec 2020 14:32:14
Also said what me n kja9 said on here at time it should have been an indirect free kick if anything.

28 Dec 2020 14:35:21
That was my initial reaction Coop, just wanted to gauge everyone else’s thoughts. Although someone did say if it happened in at the other end we would all be crying for a penalty which is probably true.

28 Dec 2020 14:47:19
So, is Dermott Gallagher always right then?

Thought it was a 50/ 50 myself and wouldn't have complained if it had been given. You win some. You lose some. Same for every team.

28 Dec 2020 15:18:59
Correct here we go a lot of people had a go at me for it as well when I said it wasn’t a pen.

28 Dec 2020 15:44:04
Who says Gallagher is always right geromino 🤔🤔.

28 Dec 2020 15:45:31
Should've / Could've!
Who cares! It wasn't given. 👍
Collum himself said the Hibs player lowered his head putting himself in danger.
Plus it winds up the Tims. 😆.

28 Dec 2020 16:03:24
why do you always take a different view than everyone else geronimo, you would not complain if it was given my arse, i really wonder at times who you really support.

28 Dec 2020 16:39:46
How can it be penalty if there's no contact by a large amount as shown in the picture.

28 Dec 2020 16:50:16
truebluesotrue If you think I'm a secret Celtic man, have a look at my Celtic posts, especially regarding the Green Brigade.

SGL Why bring Gallacher's opinons into it, I recall a good few times he's backed up decisons that went in our favour.

28 Dec 2020 17:23:11
It's definitely one that has created some debate we've all seen them given anywhere else on the park but for me it would be harsh to punish the defending player for trying to hook the ball clear in a busy area of the park with no real idea an attacker is in close proximity. Nowhere near contact being made so I'll take the decision and move on. Non rangers note but at 7.45 on BBC Scotland tonight 1st round Scottish cup game between Dundonald bluebell and Queens Park for anyone that's interested.

28 Dec 2020 17:23:25
Geronimo, Gallagher simply explained the rule which many on here did not know or understand.

28 Dec 2020 17:25:40
reckless challenge = freekick or penalty

If the ref decides it was.

28 Dec 2020 17:30:22
It's irrelevant.

28 Dec 2020 17:39:02
Geromino you come out with stranger questions my friend. I brought dermot gallagher into it, because i heard him talking about his opinion of the incident on SSN 🤔 Because he's an ex ref that's why! Pretty obvious pal, i would have thought 🤔.

28 Dec 2020 18:12:04
The old tim card getting played when an opinion does suit the agenda. You must be proud of that comeback truebluesotrue. 👍.

28 Dec 2020 18:33:37
coldo, wheres the old tim card i never said geronimo was a tim, you have pulled me before for suggesting you are a tim, there's nothing in your posts that lead me to believe that you are not one, you are a great guy for blowing your own trumpet mate, i put in a post before about your username which was never shown on here, which suggests if you rearranged the letters they are a name that the other mob would use.

28 Dec 2020 19:02:34
Trueblue, you just posted wondering what team geronimo supports. We all know what you were implying, let's face it you weren't suggesting he was an Aberdeen supporter were you. 👍.

28 Dec 2020 19:10:12
Trueblue, my username is coldo because my name is colin. You just play the tim card because you don't like an opinion that doesn't suit the blue spec agenda and all you have left is to play the tim card. 👍.

Liverpool v West Bromwich Albion - A Liverpool Perspective

28 Dec 2020 13:59:03
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Liverpool v West Bromwich Albion - A Liverpool Perspective

28 Dec 2020 12:03:49
I'm not looking to the Celtic match yet. That cup defeat hurt and we need payback against St Mirren. 6 nil will do it. Want our strongest team not saving for the weekend.

28 Dec 2020 15:49:09
The Cup game was a one off game where St Mirren had nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Will they be as bold in the league and attack as much again?
I very much doubt it.
And our full team has an off night.
If we approach the game with the right mentality and attitude we will win easily.
3-1 Rangers. 👍.

28 Dec 2020 16:31:44
St Mirren will use the exact same tactics because they worked, We know what to expect and no excuses this time. Can’t see us playing anywhere near as bad and it’s big decisions from the gaffer as to what team he puts out. Davis due a rest before old firm and I can see Roofe being rested aswel.

28 Dec 2020 16:40:41
Morelos and roofe will both start against st. mirren on wednesday i think Scotty 123🤔.

28 Dec 2020 16:41:21
Mr potatoe head, of course st Mirren will do the same. don't think I've read a more visuals post than yours. st Mirren just beat us 3.2 yet your saying there not gona play the same way lol.

28 Dec 2020 17:49:22
Davie1980 - if they attack us like they did in the Cup game and our team is up for it this time, we will rip them to shreds.
Let's see what happens on Wedesday and who's opinion will be proved right. 👍.

28 Dec 2020 18:37:58
There's not a chance in hell they will play the same way again, hoping to get lucky twice. We will be ready for that and also prepared for them to park the bus, all we need to concern ourselves about is how we go about our business and I can see a comfortable victory in store.

28 Dec 2020 19:00:06
Coop what would be your XI for Wed and who comes in for who on Sat?

28 Dec 2020 11:59:10
What is latest on Scott Arfield injury? Such an important player 🇬🇧.

28 Dec 2020 18:50:38
I wouldn’t expect any news being confirmed on Arfield until Sat.

28 Dec 2020 11:37:23
Improvements to the squad I'd like to see next year:-
Morelos to get Roofe's composure.
Roofe to get Hagi's 2 footed ability.
Hagi to get Kent's pace.
Kent to get Aribo's dancing feet.
Aribo to get Arfield's goalscoring ability.
Arfield to get Davis's passing ability.
Davis to get Kamara's legs.
Kamara to get Jack's dig.
Jack to get Tav's fitness.
Tav to get Helander's positional awareness.
Helander to get Goldson's long range passing ability.
Goldson to get Barisic's ability with free kicks.
Barisic to get McGregor's presence within the team.
McGregor to get a new body to go with the still outstanding ability in goals.
Make it happen Ross Wilson! 😆😆😆.

28 Dec 2020 12:07:36
Mr potato if only.

28 Dec 2020 13:08:21
Plenty of possibilities with some hard work, practise and the wonders of medical science who knows. Morelos to have the composure of Roofe may just be a step to far.

28 Dec 2020 13:33:58
I can't even think about Celtic right now only the St Mirren game matters. st Mirren had a, template to beat us so its vital we are creative and motivated to win and leave with 3 points. would like to see el huffalo given a good 60 mins to see how he performs. any thoughts?

28 Dec 2020 15:19:30
Correct Gp.

28 Dec 2020 15:24:15
Excellent, Mr potato.

28 Dec 2020 15:45:46
MPH, roofe is already two footed mate and good in the air 👍🇬🇧.

28 Dec 2020 17:58:08
SGL - where did I say Roofe wasn't good in the air?
And it was meant as a bit of fun. 👍
But thanks for your input🙄.

28 Dec 2020 11:33:07
Hi
When we play Celtic we are usually the better team, but that does not guarantee the 3 points.

Celtic will need Rangers to have an off day or a lot of luck to get anything from the game.

If both teams play there normal game Rangers will win at least 3-1.

Celtic are desperate to win and will try all the dirty tricks, and diving in our box etc. etc. etc.

Wait and see.

28 Dec 2020 11:53:32
My exact same thoughts Graham mate but got told earlier one game at a time.
I still feel the celt game will be the bigger challenge tho.

28 Dec 2020 12:11:08
50 year anni of the disaster. Hopefully we can dig out a great win for them.

28 Dec 2020 12:18:30
We also have divers in our team mate. But aye get what you mean. Praying for 3 points.

28 Dec 2020 12:30:12
We have a big game before the Celtic game to worry about somewhere we have already been beaten this season.

28 Dec 2020 12:39:33
Anything less than 3 points against st mirren will give celtic incentive going into the old firm game. 👍.

28 Dec 2020 13:35:24
Spot on Coldo, it's a MUST win game for us .

28 Dec 2020 14:29:11
Yip coldo. It’s a must win against St Mirren 🇦🇺🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️🇬🇧👍.

28 Dec 2020 14:51:59
I reckon the LC result was a one off, these things happen so am very confident that we'll see off St Mirren easily enough. Let's face it, they don't have a single player that would even be good enough to sit on our bench.

28 Dec 2020 16:08:02
Honestly think that Mob think they have turned a corner, Its a false dawn that's about to come crumbling down on them. Hamilton were decimated, Scraped past a 1st div side and beat ross county and Killie the two sides with the worst form in the league on their own patch. Think Dundee Utd will Run them close and then its time to try and salvage their season against us. If Jack makes the game and Alf starts I think we put the final nail in their coffin.

28 Dec 2020 17:30:35
R1
Who would you drop for Jack?

28 Dec 2020 20:26:30
Deeb. davis would drop out for jack.

28 Dec 2020 21:17:17
I’ll be honest DEEB I think Jack is our no1 CM he breaks play better recycles the ball better tackles better and is as good in possession as anyone we haveIMO when he plays I feel we are a better side in that type of game u need a combative midfielder he’s the man for the job. Think he’s one of the first or SGs team sheet when fit.

28 Dec 2020 11:05:15
Would like to see Buff net 1 just to make my Christmas complete and ease us into an uncertain new year. 55 is alive.

28 Dec 2020 10:55:43
With severe restrictions on society all over the UK due to the C.V. C.V. and notably the new strain that seems to be spreading more quickly, I do wonder why professional sport is being allowed to continue even without fans. When you watch the highlights of games on TV, especially when a team scores a goal, the players surround each other and hug closley and whatever. How do they stay in a 'bubble'? They must go home to their families. It does seem strange to me. If football was to be locked down, what would the SPFL do if say 6 games had to be cancelled?

28 Dec 2020 11:04:06
Mess testing so football can go on and will go on.

28 Dec 2020 14:35:26
They are tested twice the week of the game. So can cuddle all the want they know they don't have it.

28 Dec 2020 10:52:49
I hope the team don't take a win on Wed for granted as some fans seem to have on other sites. St. Mirren are vastly improved and deserve respect but as long as our mindset is right we should win.

28 Dec 2020 11:04:56
How can you take a win femoral the granted against a side that beat us only a couple of weeks ago.

28 Dec 2020 12:15:44
Sweep who said they're taking it for granted?

28 Dec 2020 12:31:10
100% OWS that’s the only game we should be worrying about right now.

28 Dec 2020 18:05:16
If u read fans forums many are looking to Celtic game forgetting we have a tough yin before. Don't get soo ratty I'm only making a point.

28 Dec 2020 18:18:26
Onewaltersmith who's being ratty Fans can talk about what they want! As long as the team only looking to Wednesday!

28 Dec 2020 18:18:52
But again who's taking a win for granted?

28 Dec 2020 09:25:16
Reckon we will find it hard to sell on or even sign someone before the transfer widow closes due to C.V. lock down.

28 Dec 2020 09:45:05
Why? Professional sports are allowed to continue. On another not am away to glenshee sledging with the kids 2day 😁.

28 Dec 2020 09:08:34
Just realised we have another game before the old firm game against St Mirren not sure why I though our next game was Celtic
But this months football feels never ending waiting on this old firm game
Cannot believe we have played 8 games this month is it just me or is that not quite a lot feels more than we usually play
And still another game to come making it 9 matches this month that's unreal?

What do you all think will be our starting 11 against Celtic

I reckon Morelos might be back in for that game

McGregor
Tav Goldson balagun Barisic
Airfield Davis kamarra
Roofe Morelos Kent

Itten
Zungu
Hagi
Aribo

All coming on. At some point there's my prediction a 3-1 win too 😊😊.

28 Dec 2020 09:33:48
Not sure arfield will be fit.

28 Dec 2020 09:55:36
December always a busy month stig. December January most important months of the season usually due to amount of games .

28 Dec 2020 10:05:22
Hagi/ Aribo will be in for arfield I would think stig👍.

28 Dec 2020 10:07:52
I believe Arfield is out . I'm going for 3 nil victory.

28 Dec 2020 10:27:49
I would probably prefer Aribo then if Airfield is not for for playing I think.

28 Dec 2020 10:32:43
Hi guys,

Let us and the squad not get too complacent against them.

It was not a walkover for us against Hibs, so we need to be more determined against the celts as Lemmons job is on the line and his team know that. (BEWARE) .

28 Dec 2020 11:04:22
Don’t need to worry about celtic game it should be what team for st mirren.

One game at a time.

28 Dec 2020 11:22:45
Of course I agree one game at a time KJA9 mate, just pointing out I feel the timms games will be our hardest yet .

Surely Stevie will have addressed the Snt Mirren situation this time.

28 Dec 2020 12:19:16
Hope arfield makes it.

28 Dec 2020 12:33:14
BLuebilly that wasn’t for you mate.

A lot of rangers fans on here talking about Celtic game as if the st mirren game doesn’t matter.

St mirren are the only team to have beat us and it’s as if some think it will be a walk over.

Review Of The Day 28th December 2020

28 Dec 2020 07:39:03
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 28th December 2020

28 Dec 2020 01:39:35
I pass my condolences on to Chris Sutton at a time of great sadness when he has lost his father at Christmas. i'm further saddened to read some of our own posters making the effort to have a personal dig at Chris at such a time. Please can we all take stock.

28 Dec 2020 07:37:03
While you’re kind words and sentiment is admirable mate and nobody wants to disrespect or insult anyone, Sutton is perhaps the most hateful football man I’ve ever known, and I’ve played with a few in my time, but Sutton is someone I wouldn’t ever care about, a cretinous delusional and extremely bitter man, no sorry, everyone is suffering at some point, my own dad was 51, my brother 49, I would’ve put money on Sutton having zero respect for them as they were rangers to their toes, my condolences do of come go out to his family at such a sad event.

{Ed001's Note - so what? Is there any need to be having a dig on a condolences post? How low can you get? Save it for another time and show some respect for heaven's sake!}

28 Dec 2020 08:34:35
TJBB, I hadn't seen that his father had died, I also send condolences to the family.

28 Dec 2020 08:42:59
Tom absolutely shocking! You should be ashamed.

28 Dec 2020 08:57:03
Despicable post Tomthumb.
Says it all about you really. 🙄.

28 Dec 2020 09:24:39
We should be showing class and respect to someone who has lost a parent. Are class and respect not part of Rangers football clubs values and traditions?

28 Dec 2020 09:26:31
Disgrace TT you sound like a bitter old man.

100% agree with you TJBB.

28 Dec 2020 09:29:31
Hang your head in shame, that post is disgusting, tom!
You have to be one of the most spiteful and odious posters on this forum, but even for you, this is a new level of low! Embarrassing!

28 Dec 2020 09:57:10
Thot you couldn't get worse than your last post, but that's low. Horrible entitled old man you sound.

28 Dec 2020 10:04:24
Oh and Tom! Everything you accuse Sutton of, you show in your own post! Have a good look in the mirror.

28 Dec 2020 10:07:29
Thoughts with sutton and his family at this sad time. 👍.

28 Dec 2020 10:10:16
Tom, that's got to be the worst post I've ever read. Very heartless.

28 Dec 2020 10:18:59
More of the same old bile from Tom - "it's one rule for me and another for everyone else"

Festive cheer and all that but your comments are a disgrace Tom.

28 Dec 2020 11:05:27
100% DK you have hit the nail on the head with that.

28 Dec 2020 11:07:05
Shocking comments.

28 Dec 2020 11:07:30
If you can't say something remotely respectful for the loss of a parent, then best you don't say anything at all.

28 Dec 2020 12:10:35
Tom think twice before you speak once.
I like your posts mate but you let yourself down, you are better than that.

28 Dec 2020 13:16:47
Tom, you misspoke and are coming across as the bigot we know you not to be. None of us care for Sutton but you need to apologise for your comments.

28 Dec 2020 13:52:40
An unbelievably rancid post. I am horrified that someone on here could even contemplate putting this bile up. If you have no respect for Sutton then just move on and don't show your open hatred, the man has just lost his father . Someone else posted that you're not a bigot, I wholeheartedly disagree, only a spiteful bigot could have written this.

28 Dec 2020 14:37:44
Tav 👍.

28 Dec 2020 15:31:56
Condolences to Chris and his family.
