Rumours abounding that with Thomas Tuchel taking over at Bayern Munich and him wanting to have a look at the Bayern players who his predecessor Nagelsman sent out on loan could mean the end of our Tillman deal - be a blow if we don't get Tillman signed up permanently.

Gregory202

1.) 26 Mar 2023 09:08:34
If it’s a loan to buy deal and Tillman wants to stay then Tuchel prob won’t have any say.

2.) 26 Mar 2023 09:09:31
It’s irrelevant if player and us want the deal done, it’s an agreed option to buy already.

3.) 26 Mar 2023 09:32:59
If we have an option to buy then I would think that would make him our player. Apparently Bayern do have a first dib still but I would suggest that means they have to offer him a contract. Taking a look at him in training wouldn't supersede our ability to sign him. I'm speculating on the terms of the contract granted.

4.) 26 Mar 2023 10:29:17
Correct both posters, but Tillman was frozen out by Nagelsman, if and its only an if at this point, Tuchel intimates he wants to bring Tillman back in, do we really think the boy will sign for us instead of taking his chance at Bayern Munich? I think he would be on the plane to Munich immediately - but i sincerely hope Tuchel has the same opinion of Tillman as Nagelsman did but I doubt it.

5.) 26 Mar 2023 10:30:29
Loan to buy if deals been set by clubs tuchel has no say unless the bayern rip deal up which won't look good for them if tillman wants move plus he does not get a sniff of play at bayern and is just like a mccrorie at rangers seat warmer and wants to play but never does personally can ruin a players career bring back scottish u21.u23 premier league and let all the young ones play instead of b teams.

6.) 26 Mar 2023 10:39:58
There are not rumours, there was one story that was just one random blogger making one random ‘suggestion’ of what ‘might’ happen due to a new manager coming in at Bayern. No quotes from anyone at the club, no evidence to suggest that would be the case at all. Let’s face it Thomas Tuchel isn’t going to come into Bayern and want to change/ rebuild the team with young players that were sent out on loan as they weren’t going to make their first team. He’ll get millions to spend to bring in the players he wants. This was a total non story. Folk need to learn to ‘read between the lines’ a little when reading these rumour sites.

7.) 26 Mar 2023 10:57:39
They can't scrap the deal because it would be a breach of contract. I'm pretty sure they put a first option clause in the deal should Rangerd buy him but not sure if there was a fee set. If Tilman decides to stay nothing can prevent it unless we don't have the money to complete.

8.) 26 Mar 2023 11:34:00
It’s not the end of the world if we don’t get Tillman? Descent player and will be interesting what he will do with his career.

9.) 26 Mar 2023 11:45:08
The option to buy deal means Rangers have the option to buy him if they want to for the fee agreed at the time. If players agrees then he’s a Rangers player.
Bayern have a buy back option not an option to cancel the deal that’s already in place.
That means Rangers could buy him and sell him in same window to Bayern or anyone else.
Hendry was on loan from Celtic to Belgian club with a loan to buy option, the club purchased him then sold him immediately for a profit, same can be done with Tillman.
If Bayern want him back but we agree to pay the fee then they need to pay the buy back price that’s also already agreed which would be a £5m plus profit for us if we don’t sign him to keep so it’s a win win.

10.) 26 Mar 2023 12:16:21
Unless Tillman does not want to sign for Rangers then there will be no deal - that's the whole point of my posts - he is 20 years old and if he gets a chance at Bayern then I am sure he would say thanks but no thanks to us and back to Bayern Munich.

11.) 26 Mar 2023 13:06:12
Tillman would not get a game under tuchel Billy gilmour was sidelined by him saying he expected more his standards are high and at this point in time Tillman will not meet his standards.

12.) 26 Mar 2023 13:13:53
Beale on Tillman:-
Bayern have a decision whether they feel he’s going to play for them.

"There’s a number, we know what it is and we’re comfortable with the number.

"Also, we wouldn’t just want to buy a boy that maybe wants to be elsewhere. "

13.) 26 Mar 2023 13:19:17
If Bayern Munich give Tillman assurances he's going be part of the 1st team next season he will definitely not be back at Rangers.

14.) 26 Mar 2023 13:26:57
Sweep correct, however no where near their level.

15.) 26 Mar 2023 13:34:08
Anything could happen re Tillman, the man instrumental in bringing him to Rangers, Roy McKaay has rejoined Bayern staff.

Yes we allegedly have a loan to buy for the lad, but all the lad needs to say is no.

16.) 26 Mar 2023 14:16:39
He’s a rangers players as of next season. He wouldn’t make the Bayern bench.

17.) 26 Mar 2023 11:16:01
Gregory, so what you're saying is if my bank manager changes then my mortgage is null and void? ?

18.) 26 Mar 2023 15:30:53
Bayern always have the option to excersize within his contract at a certain fee as do we, I posted a couple months ago Munich are very lightly to act on their option, we will make a decent amount out of it but we're very unlikely to have Tillman at the end of the season, they're likely to buy back the second we activate our clause and sell him to another club for more profit.

19.) 26 Mar 2023 15:35:59
If Bayern were to decide to rip up the pre existing agreement with ourselves then we would be heavily compensated. The only way Tillman won't be a Rangers player next season is if he doesn't want to be here.

20.) 26 Mar 2023 17:17:54
No way Bayern would want tilman in their team he’s good but not that good (yet hopefully) not dissing our own player but calibre of player at rangers v Bayern is unfortunately massive.

21.) 26 mar 2023 19:41:43
de boer, that's as weird a post as i ever seen, can't make head nor tail of it, , and tillman is the only guy who knows where he is playing next season, except posibly hiis agent and bayern, rangers, we have no idea what the arrangement is or isnt.

22.) 26 Mar 2023 21:16:47
I don't believe Beale would say about Tillman not wanting to be here and if he truly did it just shows how much our manager needs to learn to shut his gub.

23.) 26 Mar 2023 21:17:55
Tillman is nowhere near good enough to be at Bayern. Skillful yes, but very very lazy. The even shows in the SPL, never mind the Bundesliga.

24.) 27 Mar 2023 00:12:20
As John says, if Tillman says no, then that's it. Doesn't matter if Bayern want rid or we want him it's up to the lad himself.

25.) 27 Mar 2023 10:35:27
Jamaal musciala Thomas muller sadio mane Leroy sane? Tillman could clean there boots lol.

26.) 27 Mar 2023 10:38:02
Had the most tackles in our team before injury yet he’s lazy no as lazy as half our fans opinions. They just copy one another.

27.) 27 Mar 2023 10:54:44
Tillman covers far more ground under Beale, very talented boy.

28.) 27 Mar 2023 17:23:22
His style just makes him appear lazy . I think if Bayern reviewed his three games against Celtic they would pass.

29.) 27 Mar 2023 21:27:15
End of the day here troops is Tillman will go back to Bayern at the end of the season. If tuchel convinces him to stay. Regardless of our supposive right to buy, Tillman just won't agree terms and stay at bayern.

30.) 28 Mar 2023 00:05:24
I believe if it's a loan to buy and has been previously agreed I am pretty sure the player would have had to have pre agreed as well and if Bayern want him that's where the buy back option comes in other wise why would there be a buy back option at all?

Someone is telling porkies or starting rumours to make trouble.

31.) 28 Mar 2023 00:05:46
Wether that be the club or the poster you decide.

32.) 28 Mar 2023 15:19:27
Think it's safe to say Tillman will not be playing for Bayern next season as he's not near the level of any of there attackers.

He's turning 21 it's time he finds a club where he plays consistently and big "if" he turns us down to sit on the bench it is what it is.

33.) 28 Mar 2023 15:20:08
Tillman not and will never be good enough for bayern, he's at his level with us.

34.) 28 Mar 2023 19:16:14
Can't see how you can possibly say that king, Tillman hasn't played many first team games and improving all the time, remember this lad is 20 year old, he has the potential to play for any team on the planet.

35.) 28 Mar 2023 20:59:36
Tillman is Rangers most talented and gifted footballer at 20 years of age this season / he will not be at Rangers next season as he will be back at Bayern - I posted earlier that Tuchel would look to recall the loanees - of course i was lambasted by some - look at when Tuchel took over at Chelsea - what did he do? Recalled all loanees to see what he had to work with. simple.

36.) 28 Mar 2023 23:22:03
A bit of reality here guys tilman didn't even make USA squad and you think he will make Bayern squad ?.

37.) 29 Mar 2023 00:38:37
Gofor you can see the improvement in him with more game time, he has the potential to play in any good league for good teams.

38.) 29 Mar 2023 13:09:09
Tillman signing for us with Bayern inserting a number of clauses including first buy back option at an agreed price is my gut feeling.

39.) 29 Mar 2023 15:43:51
I think that has already been agreed Scotty i just ? he's a Rangers player next season.

40.) 30 Mar 2023 01:42:58
I know what your saying Beale but teams like Bayern don't give players with potential a go they buy them ready to go from Leipzig and Dortmund and others just like we will not give Lowry a proper go.

Think about it.

41.) 30 Mar 2023 01:43:34
And for record I do think boy has potential as well and totally agree he went up a notch since Beale arrived.

42.) 30 Mar 2023 18:10:10
Gofor he played just under 10 games for Bayern last season, surely he wouldn't get all they games maybe a couple of games but not 8 mate, this lad has the potential for any side that is my opinion on him.

27 Jan 2022 09:26:50
Bacuna next out the door - Birmingham were allowed to speak to him on Tuesday and he is keen on the move - both clubs now talking but looking a deal done this week.

Gregory202

1.) 27 Jan 2022 10:07:05
Gregory- your a bit late with that 1 mate.

With regards to yesterdays posts about Orjan Persson my first memory of a funny named player for Rangers was Kai Johanson, remember i was 4 years old at the time hence thinking it was a funny name before the woke brigade criticise me - anyone else remember Kai who unfortunately passed away from cancer in 2007 i think.

Gregory202

1.) 09 Feb 2023 15:36:47
I was at the scottish cup replay with my dad at Hampden when he scored that cracker that won us the cup. great full back as was Personn a fabulous winger.

2.) 09 Feb 2023 15:50:32
Gregory, you must be thinking of another site, nobody criticises anyone on here.

3.) 09 Feb 2023 15:53:06
Don't remember him playing as I was just starting primary school.
We did call our beautiful labrador spaniel mix puppy Kai.

4.) 09 Feb 2023 16:24:23
Gregory if you thought Kai Johanson was a "funny" name what would you have thought of Don Kitchenbrand.

5.) 09 Feb 2023 16:37:13
Funny that jfm, we called the wifes chihuahua Kai as well.
A talking point when folk asked where we got the name from.

6.) 09 Feb 2023 17:12:12
Bluetoon i was born in 1965 and as Don played in the 50s by the time i had heard the stories of the Rhino and read up on our great club i was more aware of the different names as I was older - i believe the Rhino may have been the first catholic to play for Rangers? As I said previously i was 4/ 5 years old and didn't quite understand how we had a player called KAI and i didn't know anyone with that name - indeed having grew up in East Belfast we knew KAI as something other than a christian name - even at that age in 1969/ 1970 ???.

7.) 09 Feb 2023 17:14:09
Ha ha mark too right better ask blutoon why he put the funny in inverted commas replying to my completely innocent and honest post - a long cylindrical object springs to mind!

8.) 09 Feb 2023 18:31:36
Gregory Johnny Hubbard may have been the 1st Catholic to have signed for Rangers. Not sure who signed first but I am sure they were both Catholic and South African
On your other point, nothing derogatory meant to you by the inverted commas.

9.) 09 Feb 2023 18:38:38
My son is called after Kai Johansen, he used to come into my work a lot.

10.) 09 Feb 2023 19:23:02
Catholics played for rangers from the beginning, the thing is when celtic were founded they took all our catholic players as they were a fully catholic team.

11.) 10 Feb 2023 08:03:48
? cheers bluetoon.

24 Jan 2023 15:04:25
If some of the rumours are true regarding Bielsa and the Everton job, be it now or in the Summer 100% the Argentinian will be in for Ryan Kent - the man is a huge admirer of Kent - let's get him signed up now and punt him in the summer for a large fee.

Gregory202

1.) 24 Jan 2023 15:29:07
Gregory hate to say it but your probably right . hopefully they get relegated.

2.) 24 Jan 2023 15:44:14
Gregory kent has to sign the deal, not rangers.

3.) 24 Jan 2023 17:39:59
Yes John I am aware that Kent has to sign the deal it was a phrase that i used as we have offered him 2 improved deals which he is yet to commit to - if he can be signed up let's get it done as we will make more money in the summer window if he has a new contract than if we punt him now - difference being no one really wants him now, same as Morelos, sometimes speculate to accumulate especially in this situation if Everton can get Bielsa - as I said previously he will 100% bid for Kent.

4.) 24 Jan 2023 18:59:16
Gregory there have been low offers for both, I think we r back to they may want to stay, they could both end up subs in championship.

5.) 24 Jan 2023 19:17:50
Yes John they may both end up with no suitors and have to stay and if that is the case in the summer then we as the institution and club that we are then they can both get on their way and they will rue the day they do that if that is the case.

6.) 24 Jan 2023 20:41:40
Kent has plenty of admirers down south, I’m not sure Morelos does.

7.) 24 Jan 2023 21:48:35
Gregory don’t remember u saying that re goldson. U were happy he signed again.

8.) 25 Jan 2023 07:53:18
I have to disagree with you John re Goldson he has never been one of my favoured players and I would have been quite happy to see him go as I posted on here when he was messing us around expecting a bid from an Epl side which never transpired so he then signed a new contract with us - confusing me with another poster old chap i'm afraid.

30 Sep 2022 14:16:05
I see Souttar is definitely out until after Christmas - this is getting ridiculous with our injury situation - its not as if Souttars injury record was a secret - same with Helander amongst others - absolute joke.

Gregory202

1.) 30 Sep 2022 15:06:29
Just posted that. We knew when we signed him he was injury prone and people did mention it. We really need to stop signing injury prime players.

2.) 30 Sep 2022 15:28:54
You do have to question why we signed him? I understand it was a gamble and the ‘pros’ were he was out of contract and being Scottish helped toward our European contingent… however he has been permanently injured his whole career. Gio even stated today that he ‘has the problems he had before’ and that he ‘brought the problems with him when he changed clubs’. I wonder if that was a subtle dig at the recruitment. The deal for Soutar would of been basically done and dusted before Gio even came in so I wonder how happy he is that he’s been lumbered with a player who is never available and we pretty much could of guaranteed that was going to be the case. Helander is another one that seems to be made of chocolate. Permanently picking up new injuries that he seems to take months and months to recover from, at least he’s out of contract at the end of this season.

3.) 30 Sep 2022 17:58:39
Surely just standing next to Tav and Goldson gets you fit. How they stay fit all season is a miracle.

Poor make up in the Genes for Helander, Souttar, Roofe and Jack. Could be height and weight issues passing on to the joints, tendons and ligaments etc. Look at Lewis McCleod retiring at 28.

Not too much you can do if your body reacts to knocks etc in a bad way. Train smart i guess.

4.) 30 Sep 2022 18:23:42
Heilander got injured playing for us at St. mirren but I agree on Soutter it's a gamble not worth taking imo.

5.) 30 Sep 2022 18:24:07
Helander had never had a serious injury until last season, just bad luck he got 2 in a row.

6.) 30 Sep 2022 20:07:21
One mans misery is another mans joy. Chance for a squad player if any fit to take their chance?.

06 Jul 2022 14:06:12
On this day in 1998 Gabriel Amato signed for us - what a player i will never forgot the day he absolutely terrorised the celtic defence and set up Rod Wallaces goal - great memories - let's create some new ones this season ????.

Gregory202

1.) 06 Jul 2022 14:17:10
One of the most under rated players to play for us IMO great player.

2.) 06 Jul 2022 14:21:01
I remember his debut came on as a sub scored two goals.

3.) 06 Jul 2022 14:40:54
Did Amato only stay a year?

4.) 06 Jul 2022 14:45:40
Yately two seasons 45 games, 13 goals. If only he had pace.

5.) 06 Jul 2022 14:53:59
Remember an unreal bit of skill to assist against them I think .

6.) 06 Jul 2022 15:55:51
If amato had pace I doubt we would have been able to afford him.

7.) 06 Jul 2022 16:00:01
If anyone is unsure look it up on you tube how he destroyed the other mob - he was unreal with the ball at his feet and hard as nails into the bargain - no shirking in the tackle from Gabi - absolutely brilliant ????.

8.) 06 Jul 2022 16:16:43
Absolutely loved Gabby. I'll never the goal and celebration against them at Ibrox. Wonderful player, wonderful team.

9.) 06 Jul 2022 16:29:41
I still can't believe when he rounded gould he managed to keep the ball in ball and score at such a crazily tight angle, his celebration was class as well ?.

10.) 06 Jul 2022 16:44:23
Loved him was superb am sure he was spanish.

11.) 06 Jul 2022 16:54:27
With much umming and ahing, i think the 99, 2000 Rangers team was the best I've seen. What's your thoughts chaps.

12.) 06 Jul 2022 19:03:19
Close DS he was from Argentina.

30 Mar 2022 13:08:44
Aaron Ramsey 100 % fit for Sunday, Rob Page, Wales manager said he left Ramsey out of Wales squad as nothing at stake and out of respect to his club -Rangers FC - very classy from Page - bring it on this weekend WATP🇬🇧🇬🇧.

Gregory202

1.) 30 Mar 2022 14:27:31
If that's the case my rangers starting 11 for sunday would be -
McGregor
Tavernier, Goldson, Balogun, Bassey
Jack, Lundstram,
Aribo, Ramsey, Kent,
Morelos
Thoughts fellow bears 🤔.

2.) 30 Mar 2022 15:44:08
I’m split at mo for 2 places . Balogun or Helander and Arfield or Ramsey.

3.) 30 Mar 2022 16:23:14
Sakala for Aribo he's been awful and usually goes quiet against them anyway.

4.) 30 Mar 2022 17:10:41
Helander is not yet 100% match fit and Aribo, although not on his game recently, will be back with a bang. He has consistently been the go-to guy for both Gerrard and GvB for a reason - he's class. I think Sir Walter has it bang on.

5.) 30 Mar 2022 17:12:12
Gregory202 I posted exact same team couple of days back - think it has to be this team - I think Sakala is awful more than he is good despite his blistering pace - would never get ahead of aribo or arfield for me unless he seriously improves 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.

6.) 30 Mar 2022 17:34:23
Agree with scotty123, had to choose it would be helander and Arfield, just don't see gio starting Ramsey.

7.) 30 Mar 2022 17:37:22
Coops, I think your selection is spot on, Ramsey is ready now, Aribo on form is a terror, Balogun at moment ready more than Hellander, who looked nervy on his return.

8.) 30 Mar 2022 17:47:25
I’d be surprised if kamara does not start. In front of midfield two same as europa.

9.) 30 Mar 2022 21:19:25
Kamara usually plays well against them and should start imo. I think the game is made for Ramsey. It will be open and there will be spaces for him to cause havpc.

10.) 30 Mar 2022 22:45:13
I think Ramsey will score.

11.) 31 Mar 2022 07:22:33
SirWalter, that's my team also. Rangers to win 3-1.

I may have had what you think is a nightmare but i can assure all that I am correct and we shall see in due course - but why don't we meet Ed at the emirates one day or at Ibrox on 3rd september and discuss it in person - i can introduce you to some people in person.

Oh yes Ed I forgot to mention that Arsenal were the only sporting team owned by Stan Kroenke not to win a title last season so I doubt that Stan and his £15 billion needs to raise collateral from Arsenal to buy a ranch or anything else - its a very similar scenario to when it was rumoured that Sir John Hall stood down and his son Douglas ran Newcastle - complete garbage - every decision went through Sir John before giving the nod to his son - 100% same as Kroenke Senior and Junior.

Gregory202

{Ed001's Note - did I say that was last season? You are clearly incapable of understanding as I said it was when they were spending little that Stan was in charge. The last few seasons Josh took over and has been spending money. You are not going to keep arguing are you? It would be much better for all concerned if you spent some time educating yourself on things before making up nonsense. I am sure you and Silent Stan are on great terms though. Honestly, you must thing we are all buttoned up at the back to believe your nonsense.}

Ed my company has a corporate box at the Emirates - I am also a Shareholder at Rangers and a season ticket holder so I am certainly not a fantasist - and do you know Stan - I imagine not - i can assure you that Stan holds the keys to the Emirates castle - you only have to be in their company to realise that - Josh says nothing unless Stan tips him a wink and I can asdure you that I am correct about Trusty - if we pay £4 million up front we will bet him - and also I don't feel the need to have a snipe at you so why so prickly about me - maybe better you spend more time on your Liverpool who certainly need some help from somewhere.

Gregory202

{Ed001's Note - ok you are definitely a fantasist. Stan is not even in the country most of the time while Josh is dealing with things. As for your snide digs, grow up for heaven's sake, you are embarrassing yourself.}

Thats about the same as saying Joe Biden runs America Ed ?.

Gregory202

{Ed001's Note - it really is not. What you are saying is a far closer approximation. If you knew anything about Stan, you would know that, before he handed the keys of the kingdom to Josh, he was simply leaving large cash reserves in Arsenal's account to enable him to use the club as an asset when gaining finance, in order to get lesser terms. By putting Arsenal and their large cash reserves up as collateral he was able to get extremely favourable terms on a number of buys, such as a ranch.}
