The negativity is baffling. Never mind them, our own lot would kill us. 2-0 at home going on 6/ 7 and one goal there kill it. Calm down folks. We are the most fickle support in the world. If you knew better, you'd be in charge. Get behind the team and manager, end of.

Thought we played well at times, tendency to overplay it sometimes though. Also thought Arfield, Davis, Tav and Morelos we’re off it tonight, so can’t see those 4 being off it again at the same time. Aribo looks a player, and Edmundson and Jack played really well. Think we will definitely score over there and go through comfortably.

You thought davis was off it? Apart from two lapses davo was yet again superb in pulling the strings for us. Had a very good game AGAIN, IMO.

Two goals disallowed Coldo, probably correctly, but the chances there and ball in the yet. Missed penalty and three first class saves from their keeper. You’re right, it was going on 7 or 8.

Just my opinion SGL, thought Davis overhit most of his passes, just not his usual self. Maybe I am being too critical, just didn’t think he reached his usual high standards.

Well after tonight I’m more than confident even though the celtics will have said it should’ve been 6-0! They were an average team that came to spoil but in seasons past we’d struggle to even break that down never mind score two ( look back at draws of seasons past ) but we actually controlled the game from start to finish! Their keeper had a once in a lifetime game tbf and on another occasion it would’ve been 6-0!

Highlights for me apart from the standout Aribo was the young lad Edmunson who I thought strolled through the full game, Andy Halliday and as much as I’ve knocked the lad in the past I thought he was in there with a shout, Morelas showed a wee bit more maturity when he got a bit knocked about where before he’d have reacted, Jones came on and thought he was a positive influence but most of all Davis/ Arfield how do we drop either of them if not injured?

We have a unit here and the bench is strong so I think more than any season past I’m actually looking forward with what’s to come!

Ha Blackwood I totally agree . . two goals disallowed tav missed pen. upteam gilt edge chances . we played some great football. not many mistakes . tav had a poor game apart from one or two crosses . He always seems as if he is fed up . Not a lot of enthusiasm in his body language but he has always been like that . Zig means though at times he is off the pace as he seems to be sulking and misses the play . Am just waiting though Blackwood for all the dave King knockers to flood on and start spouting their negative drivel about the manager . Wait and you will see. Not seennyou on here before black . but good to read a little positivity. goes a long way.

Coldo I for one of a few tend to look at your comments through untinted glasses but geez lad it’s almost pre season friendly ( even though it’s a Euro game ) but this time I can’t agree as it’s our third yes third competitive game this season and to put that into perspective we still have ore season friendles to play! The boys strolled this game end off and when stronger opposition gets put in front I’m sure we’ll raise by that as well!

But I guess Tav missed a penalty ( get rid of him ) and we didn’t score 6 or 7 so Morelas should go as well?

End of its pre season and no excuses smh.

Blackwood, not saying I agree with coldo, but your point "it’s our third yes third competitive game" implies that we can not expect to be much better than Progres because they are further ahead in preparation than us. That was only their fifth yes fifth competitive game.

1st half the young Edmundson has strolled it. Very composed and certainly knows how to make a pass.
Easy to see why SG kept up his pursuit of him. Granted it is only a moderate team we are playing but he looks promising.

Defending at corners is woeful. And we have no aerial threat when Katic isn't playing.
Most teams in the Scottish league will play v us with 9 men behind the ball like tonight - we ran out of ideas!

agree jim as were most of the team he looked good! no problems with the away leg as i reckon from what they showed tonight we will absolutely hammer them next week! it really should have been at least 5 tonight but bring on the danes and i think they really won't want to play us!
