I truly think there's nothing whatsoever to worry about irrespective who castore allow to sell our kits, as rangers and castore have all the royalty rights. I’ve noticed a lot of posters post on here followed by ‘if Morelos stays’, , Morelos will be staying, he epitomises rangers and is clearly our best and most consistent player, The guy is absolute dynamite 🧨 best player I’ve seen at ibrox in a long time and we should be appreciating every minute he dawns our shirt, from his flicks, tricks, left foot 🦶 and right foot 🦶, headers, Link up play and sheer desire he’s irreplaceable in my opinion, still only 24 as well, he’s streets ahead of any player in our squad but I guess some just see £££ signs? If we got 10 million he wouldn’t be replaceable at that price, would be severely struggling at £20 million to replace him, I guess this is why gerrard said would knock back 40, he's well aware how good that man is! I hope he stays, don’t think we could stop them without him, time to bed in another debutant striker etc gets my full support Everytime cause he’s an absolute joy to watch 👍.

Gazally he is a great player but he has become a liability and he cannot change. Unfortunately he has made himself replaceable by his discipline issues and his strop after dubai. I'd say if anyone can meet 20M he'll be away. cheaper at the end of the window but I don't think anyone will risk him.

I agree with quite a lot of your post but Morelos does not epitomise Rangers. His work rate and goal scoring ratio are Rangers class but he has a long way to go in other departments before you can make that claim.

I admire you're loyalty and rating of alfredo morelos mate but he can/ will be replaced like everyone can be. I remember these things said regarding mccoist, hateley, mols, negri
miller (2nd spell especially), jelavic
prso, novo and so on, but the club always finds the replacement. I also don't believe it would take £20million to replace alfredo mate.
I like yourself rate morelos highly but i do believe he will go and i also believe he wants to go mate. No player, no matter what position is bigger than the famous glasgow rangers my friend! If as i expect morelos does go we move on, simple as that!

Missing the point completely! Morelos unlike McCoist, has made it clear his dream and ambition is to play in the EPL. He wants a move ASAP he took the huff and shafted his employer and supporters when it failed to materialise. A great player would have put the head down and worked twice as hard to earn the move he dreams about, not down tools and throw the dummy out the pram. Don’t get me wrong I like the player, wish he would sort his head out, and focus 100% on playing for Rangers, but if your hearts not in it!

The amount of chances we make, amount of chances we make he'd get a Barrow load. don't compare him to darcheville or van vossen when were they ever top level players. Kamberi was rumoured to be 150k was he not? I don't see a future with us for Doc but Hibs fans rave about him so we should be expecting more. Either to them or a team in England. gut feel is we are selling ourselves short there.

In all honesty if this is true (and so far there’s been no word from Rangers, just the papers), not overly impressed. Not too bothered about Docherty either way, don’t feel he’s good enough to force his way into the current starting midfield line up, and we need better than the current line up. However I also feel that way about Kamberi. He’s not a terrible player, he worked hard enough when he played for us and has some ability and nice touches, however his finishing isn’t great and tends to snatch at chances. In his career his scoring record overall is worse than 1 in 4. I can’t see how bringing in a player like that is going to improve us over all. I saw us probably bringing in 2 forwards this window if Morelos left, I’ll be disappointed if Kamberi is one of them To be honest.

always annoys me when people look at goals to game ratio for strikers. These numbers are totally subjective.

you put a striker in a side dominating possession and creating umpteen chances a game then his stats will be better than if he's in a side that only creates a few chances a game

Morelos for example has good record for us as we dominate and create numerous chances. Put him in a bottom half enlish side who don't create as much and he won't score

its simple

Kamberi would be a very good signing for us and an improvement on what we currently have as back up and options to change idea/ tactics/ game

good age, internationalist, knows the league and knows the club = no brainer for me.

Kamberi is ok if you want to beat off Aberdeen and Motherwell to 2nd place but if we want to challenge them then we need better. Hardly did much during his loan spell and not someone they would be worried about. Really fear for us if he is the level of our ambition.

I’m sorry that I’ve ‘annoyed’ you jbf. I was actually just making a quick point with his stats. My main issue is that he is not an out and out goal scorer or major improvement in any way over what we have. The only season where his goal scoring was consistently good was the year he played for Grasshoppers B team, not a very high level I’d imagine. When he was with us last year he scored 1 goal in 6 appearances (I know most of them were as a sub) . As has been pointed out by a few others on here already if we have real ambitions of winning the league next year I feel we need to bring in 3 maybe 4 players who will start most games. A solid ball winning / covering defensive mid, a right sided forward/ attacker and another central striker (if Morelos leaves probably 2 forwards) . Gerrard has already again stated he is looking for quality over quantity this transfer window so I don’t really want to see us ending up bringing in more players not much better than the likes of Jones, Stewart, Barker, just to fill the bench.

We would definitely get profit from him going forward and keep going doc in the squad he’s proved for me he can compete in this league and be a valuable member of the squad

Ok fellow bears, like i said in an earlier post of mine, IMHO we at the moment need 3 quality players that can go straight into our starting 11. My choices and positions i believe need strengthened would be. Strong defensive midfielder, either tapia or dorsch for me. Secondly a right winger and that would be skov olsen for me.

Thirdly another class striker and that would be hopefully ivan toney for me or possibly rhian brewster on loan. If morelos leaves i believe we'd need to sign 2 strikers ie. ivan toney to replace morelos and lyndon dykes as a different option striker to what we've got, as part of our squad, not morelos' replacement that some on here continually say i'm meaning.

I also think for depth we need to improve the quality of our bench and we've started that process already with the signings of calvin bassey and jon mclaughlin. Dykes would improve our depth from the bench and we now also need another centre half, due to the very unfortunate injury to nikola katic.

I think we need another right back as well as having nathan paterson, to push james tavernier. On the centre half situation, i think an experienced centre half would be the better option if possible, on a short term deal. I truly think if doable we should sign big scott dann, as he'll be a free agent from crystal palace. He would absolutely cruise it in the scottish premiership! Its a very interesting debate fellow bears and i look forward to all your opinions on my choices and with your participation on your own choices and areas you feel need strengthened? 🤔.

Katic injury is already covered for me 🤔 I guess this is where we appreciate the ever presentness of Goldson and look forward to seeing more of Edmundson and hellander 😀 i'd like someone to replace tavernier never mind push him, but I appreciate that a right winger / roaming flank is more important, hopefully someone that complements tavernier like candelas did 🤔.

Sgl I’d take Olsen for right wing, Toney for right price, if Alfredo goes I’d sign another striker preferably a bigger powerhouse to offer different options. I don’t know if mccrorie could push tavernier for rb and maybe play cdm in some games? Those are the main player positions that need strengthened. However, you can speculate all you want but I don’t believe anyone has the slightest clue who Rangers will bring in unless you are part of the senior playing management team. I do hope that we start to integrate some of the promising youngsters into the team or at least give them a chance to see what they can do. Like Patterson and Mayo.
