Anyone mind the braga keeper Brazilian boy he would be great keeper for us.

Sirwalter54

1.) 19 Jan 2023 21:43:02
Said the exact same other day to my lad. Looked a very good goalkeeper. Would probably cost a fair bit tho.

2.) 19 Jan 2023 22:39:59
A checked his transfermarkt he's valued at 6 million euros contract till 2027 buy out clause 27 million that will be that then lol.

3.) 19 Jan 2023 22:40:41
What about Martin debravka Newcastle was on loan at man utd down pecking order great keeper.

4.) 19 Jan 2023 23:03:33
Bosnian Keeper Vladan Kovačević would be my choice.

5.) 19 Jan 2023 23:15:48
He's a top keeper sirwalter.

6.) 20 Jan 2023 01:21:26
I've always liked dubravka, I checked the other day to see his availability and it says he is ineligible to play with another club this season, so kinda shuts down that one. great keeper though.

7.) 20 Jan 2023 01:39:50
Richy1471 he looks ok but tell me how many times do you see him palm a ball when a basic smother or catch is required.

Worth a punt maybe our goalkeeping coaches could work on him a bit but I think people underestimate mccrorie an dboy should be given a chance.

8.) 20 Jan 2023 02:39:14
We’re not looking for a keeper during this window. I expect we’ll push hard for a new first choice keeper in the summer with McCrorie being backup. McCrorie is Scottish and trained by the club so he’s ideal for European squads (something we need) . Plus, he may just turn out to be real quality if we ever give him a run of games.

9.) 20 Jan 2023 06:44:41
Dubrava would be a great keeper for us sold shot stopper, Great shot stopper commands his box ozzs confidence, would do us a great turn as num one When shagger hangs up.

10.) 20 Jan 2023 09:52:25
Also, I’m with the guy who said Vladan Kovacevic. He looks a solid shot stopper, and is one of the most highly rated players in his country. He’s starting to be linked with Bayern Munich these days so it seems we’ve missed the boat…again.

With the Bristol City billionaire trying to prise gerrard away i hope he doesn't leave but was thinking if he did who would be good replacement van bronckhorst is name i keep thinking off he did well at feynoord few year ago won the league he's young to for manager has rangers connection think he would be a good choice anyone else got other ideas.

Sirwalter54

1.) 13 Jul 2020 10:23:18
Gerrard leave rangers to go to Bristol. Tht will cheer u up on a Monday morning ha van bronk no the right guy for the job would rather give Tommy Wright a crack.

2.) 13 Jul 2020 10:58:45
GVB not a bad shout at all. I was hoping gattuso would replace Gerrard one day tbh. But wee Gio would be bad! Tommy Wright suggested needs to go easy on the glue!

3.) 13 Jul 2020 11:02:53
Wee gio wouldn't be bad I mean!

4.) 13 Jul 2020 11:19:19
There is also barry ferguson and kevin Thompson but i think gio is ahead of them with experience and has won majour trophy so would be good shout for me anyway.

5.) 13 Jul 2020 11:32:59
Barry Ferguson and Kevin Thompson? No danger!

6.) 13 Jul 2020 11:52:18
I believe GVB would jump at the chance to manage the Gers! 🇬🇧.

7.) 13 Jul 2020 12:09:29
I think van bronkhorst will manage at some point in the future.
I'd be very surprised if SG left to go to Bristol city.

8.) 13 Jul 2020 12:10:03
Don’t think we will be trying to relieve kelts of their manager any time soon.

9.) 13 Jul 2020 12:21:48
Gattuso, van bronkhurst! I'd be trying for these 2 first imo!

10.) 13 Jul 2020 12:33:33
So? Leave Arsenal, who are in the top half of the richest league in the world and come to Rangers and play Livi on a plastic pitch. REALLY?

11.) 13 Jul 2020 12:34:13
Oops my mistake got mixed up with Arteta, back in my box!

12.) 13 Jul 2020 12:55:48
Gil on three million a season.

13.) 13 Jul 2020 12:58:33
Rino for me no disrespect to gio but think rino been in a far more better league to learn his trade than gio

Italian league far superior to dutch league.

14.) 13 Jul 2020 13:20:05
Rino ain't leaving an Italian job to join Rangers.

15.) 13 Jul 2020 13:32:07
StevieG is going nowhere . stop your nonsense.

16.) 13 Jul 2020 13:37:47
Micheal Laudrup would do a job.

17.) 13 Jul 2020 13:52:07
Ajp71 also great shout never thought of him.

18.) 13 Jul 2020 14:11:56
Molsgoals just speculating if gerrard was to leave whod be good choices to be next in hot seat not saying he is leaving or hoping he does leave be very happy if gerrard stays.

19.) 13 Jul 2020 15:07:48
Would love the Laudrup brothers! Michael has managed at the highest level and done well. Wasn’t long ago he was touted as the next Real Madrid manager. And Brian as assistant would be phenomenal.

Not sure about Rino - don’t think he did particularly well in his previous roles / feck knows how he got the Napoli job!

I know Gio won the league a few years ago but so did Frank De Boer and what’s happened to him. Don’t think the Dutch league is a good measure of success.

Give me the Laudrup brothers any day!

20.) 13 Jul 2020 15:33:42
Walter Smith for 1 more season with either GVB or Gattuso as assistant to learn from the master.

21.) 13 Jul 2020 15:44:44
Agbroxi rino or GVB don’t need to learn from anyone silly post and leave W Smith retired.

Rino won’t leave Napoli to come here I would take GVB in a heartbeat and I honestly think he would do better than SG to be honest.
But while SG is managed he has my full backing.

22.) 13 Jul 2020 15:59:06
Leave Walter alone!

23.) 13 Jul 2020 16:57:31
Kj how do we afford a manager currently on 3 million a year.

24.) 13 Jul 2020 20:28:54
Is SG not meant to be on big wages John? £2.5m+ a year was what I heard.

Half 3 bt sport 4 currie club look back at our European run.

Sirwalter54

1.) 20 Jan 2023 15:41:05
Sir Walter, sitting here watching the 55 run and the trophy lift. WATP.

19 Jan 2023 09:42:51
Wee won last night but I have concern for lundstrum performance recently and barasic is having a crisis at moment this happened to him before and he scored that free kick at St mirren but this time wee have yilmaz waiting to return to fitness and take his place not sure when that will be but it can't come quick enough barasic is easy target for opposition I would even put devine or a b team left back in there thoughts.

Sirwalter54

1.) 19 Jan 2023 09:53:35
Sooner borna is out the team the better the guy offers nothing. He’s been that badly burned that he’s scared to go forward pass toward attack in any sence expect crossing from 40 yards deep which lately his crossing his only attribute is letting him down.

2.) 19 Jan 2023 09:59:13
Lundstram has under performed for most of the season.
2 stray passes against Aberdeen at the weekend resulted in 2 Rangers players ( Barisic and Goldson ) taken bookings for the team.
It shows without a doubt that Ryan Jack is the best midfielder at the club in that position and should be offered a new deal.

3.) 19 Jan 2023 10:08:17
8 assists this season for Borna.
Highest assist rate for Rangers this season.
43 assists and 7 goals since he joined Rangers.
That's not too bad for a LB.

4.) 19 Jan 2023 10:21:37
Has Lundstrum not been playing with a couple of injuries ankle/ ribs? He’s took injections to get through some games recently, If so maybe he deserves a bit of slack as many players would maybe refuse to play at all.

5.) 19 Jan 2023 10:25:44
I've made my feelings clear about Barisic earlier, so no need to elaborate on that.
Yes, Lundstrum has been so off it recently, it's alarming. The thing is, he was fantastic against the tims, but apart from that, he's been very poor. How many times did he give away possession last night? He's obviously not the only one guilty of this, as it appears wide spread throughout the team.
MPH, you're always good with these stats, so it would be interesting to see who the worst culprits are in giving up possession?

6.) 19 Jan 2023 10:30:54
Whats happening with wee Ridvan the Turkish fellow?
Is he still injured from was it the Liverpool game?

7.) 19 Jan 2023 10:49:17
I agree, Barisic numbers are good so people would say what are you moaning about but he puts in that many crosses that you are bound to get goals from them even if most of them are no good, wrong type of pass/ cross etc. Defensively hard work too. Tav has seemed off it for a while, i'd give Devine a run, thought last nights game would have been a good opportunity. Mclaughlin is a constant worry, passing the ball straight to Kilmarnock at the end, seems to crack under a bit of pressure.
Thought Morelos, Sakala and Kent done well.

8.) 19 Jan 2023 11:21:38
Three Cheers - I'm sure I read somewhere that Ridvan is at least another 4 weeks away from even being considered to start training. Looks like we've bought another injury prone player.

9.) 19 Jan 2023 11:47:33
Thanks Struth or maybee wee signed a cracking wee player who was just unlucky to get injured.

10.) 19 Jan 2023 11:47:37
Hamstring injury three cheers. I've some sympathy for Lundstram as it is pretty clear he is playing while not fully fit. As you all know I think the world of Ryan Jack and hope his injury worries are behind him as I think he had the talent, versatility and experience to contribute greatly to our squad/ team. Also like Kamara and hope he stays. No reason on this earth that Jack, Lundstram and Kamara can't play in the same team, they are all such good footballers and all able to play sitting or going forward in our midfield.

11.) 19 Jan 2023 11:50:04
I feel for Barasic. He is definitely no world beater but he is not our worst player by any stretch and consistently shows.
He is putting a lot of balls in (not all brilliant) but I think this is due to being the ONLY real source of penetration.
I love Tav but he hasn't taken on a player and beat him regularly for a long time. He seems hesitant to try and burst past someone.
With Tillman out yesterday they put al ot of focus on stopping Kent (where they could) .
So Barasic and Sakala the main routes to penalty box.
This is not a criticism of anyone but when was the last decent cross from the right? When did we move into the box through the middle successfully breaking the lines?
That only leaves the left and crossing no matter how good/ bad the opportunity.

12.) 19 Jan 2023 12:09:20
‘The guy offers nothing’ Except of course the 8 assists he has which is the joint top in the league. Yes he has his faults defensively however to say he offers nothing is a bit harsh.

We have a lot of players in our team that have their limitations, that are good in one or two areas but poor in others. Very few are the ‘full package’. But that’s why they are playing for us in Scotland and not in the English or Spanish or German leagues for example. The only player we have that I don’t feel offers much of anything unfortunately is James Sands. Not saying he’s completely useless, I just don’t feel we need him, he’s not strong enough in either defence or holding mid to justify a place in the team, and certainly not to justify spending 4.5m on him.

13.) 19 Jan 2023 12:24:34
Ridvan doesn't want to be at rangers. Some may want him starting all of us wanted him to come could but all the touting around from his agent doesn't come from nowhere neither does not being available to play. Players get injured, some badly some not so bad and some just get on with it. Our captain has by all accounts playing with an injury but in his case the team comes first. After all the stuff coming from his agent and "sources" you could have set your watch by him not being available. We've been about over 150 years we've had some incredible lb play for us so get him out the door move on and look for the next potential legend rather than dwell on someone who doesn't feel it. As much as we don't like the Tim's I always think on jock stein these Jerseys come in one size and the don't shrink. It's certainly up to the player to fill that. I'm actually happy with devine there as he will inspire other academy boys to fill the jersey.

14.) 19 Jan 2023 13:09:53
3 cheers he played since Liverpool game and got injured.

15.) 19 Jan 2023 13:10:33
Livi how do you know he doesn’t want to be here have you spoke with him directly or just believing click bait on the internet?

16.) 19 Jan 2023 13:37:06
Three Cheers yilmaz got injured 7 minutes into the aberdeen league game at ibrox, when we gubbed them 4-1?He had started that game tremendously ?That was the game beale was up at ?.

17.) 19 Jan 2023 13:40:16
Livibear, sorry but that’s the biggest load of nonsense I’ve read on here. Firstly he’s torn his hamstring, Beale has stated the medical team advised it’s one of the worst hamstring injuries a player can get. You can NOT ‘play through the pain’ with a hamstring tear. That’s the only injury he’s had, the rest of the time Gio just picked Borja ahead of him.

Secondly, it’s been the nonsense Turkish press that keep bringing him up, you know, the same press that have claimed every window for the past 4 years that Morelos was going to Turkey. His agent actually came out the last time the stories came up saying he was very happy at Rangers and would be going nowhere. So I’m afraid you might want to rethink your opinion of the player.

18.) 19 Jan 2023 20:21:28
Exactly gers …. Some of the posts on here are a pure joke . prob just a wind up from you know who.

15 Jan 2023 17:38:29
That settles the roofe argument right there need to get rid off him no doubts at all about ability but fitness is a concern majour concern.

Sirwalter54

15 Jan 2023 15:26:18
Starting to think mclauglin should have started this game to deal with crosses like he said before utd game.

Sirwalter54

1.) 15 Jan 2023 15:44:32
mclauglin Comes out for that still terrible from borna.

14 Jan 2023 16:31:39
Kevin Nisbet scoring again today he's got 1 year left on contract valued at 2 million euros on transfermarkt could be bought for 2 million and get shot of roofe and his big wage packet replacing him with Nisbet who is clearly capable in our league and not injury prone wee surely at very least attempt to sign this centre forward it's a no brainer.

Sirwalter54

1.) 14 Jan 2023 16:57:37
Agreed sir walter.

2.) 14 Jan 2023 17:05:11
Ironically just back from injury. I'm sure he has had previous injury problems too? Maybe not ?.

3.) 14 Jan 2023 17:05:24
Would take Nisbet for Roofe not a problem, I think it be hard punting Roofe, plenty managers won't touched him and who can blame them. or even replacement for Colak better player than him just my opinion on this.

4.) 14 Jan 2023 17:08:37
He has had one bad injury but I would take him in a heartbeat grear goalscorer and puts himself about also.

5.) 14 Jan 2023 17:22:54
Sir Walter how do u punt a player when u received no bids and player happy not to leave.

6.) 14 Jan 2023 17:30:47
Nisbett was out from Feb22 to Nov22 with a cruciate ligament rupture.
And it’s OK to say you would like shot of Roofe because of his injury history but for that very reason why would somebody buy him?

7.) 14 Jan 2023 17:46:26
Nesting, a proven goalscorer in Scotland, so was Roofe. A bit harsh but get rid of the injury prone players, no good on the treatment table.

8.) 14 Jan 2023 17:50:03
Beale I agree Nisbet is better all round player than colak I know colak has his fans he is good finisher but not strong no link up snd extremely slow Nisbet younger better all round game and for me proven scorer at a poor hibs team he would easy score for fun in our attack I'm sure.

9.) 14 Jan 2023 18:03:48
John my man I will leave that up to Ross Wilson that's his department only a suggestion to upgrade our striker department with e red hot striker wee could get for decent price good age also.

10.) 14 Jan 2023 18:05:36
Baxter, I don't think I'm being harsh roofe is constantly injured has been since his Leeds days he's a crock like hellander he's apparently on 35k a week in my opinion he's not worth that wage due to his injury issues.

11.) 14 Jan 2023 19:32:30
Baterboy Roofe has had injuries throughout his career, saying that I'm not convinced that some of his injuries he's had that he couldn't have played, he is technically our best cf would love him prove me wrong and play many games for us.

12.) 14 Jan 2023 19:35:06
Sir Walter nisbet is not an upgrade on roofe or Morelos

He may do against livi, st mirren.
Would be no use in Europe.

13.) 14 Jan 2023 19:59:42
Roofe a great player … will prove people wrong.

14.) 14 Jan 2023 20:16:37
I'll tell you something John27,i would sign kevin nisbet for rangers if we lose one maybe possible 2 strikers as he most certainly can finish with aplomb ?We all know putting his injury problems aside for a minute, roofe is a fantastic all round forward/ striker, very talented player for me ? Also IMO kevin nisbet no matter who he supports is better than lawrence shankland for me, no doubt about it ?.

15.) 14 Jan 2023 21:16:36
I would say he is an upgrade on roofe and he will score more goals in the spfl than Alfredo and we need that to win leagues for champs league.

16.) 14 Jan 2023 21:27:04
There is doubt about it. Shankland for me is better value than Nisbet. I rate both for SPL but neither for Europe although that statement doesn't take into account that either could develop. i'd be happy with either but I prefer Shankland.

17.) 15 Jan 2023 10:56:41
No chance Nisbet is an upgrade on Kemar Roofe. Nearly choked on my sarnie ?.
