Our players will always be linked with other clubs the more successful we become.
It’s the double edged sword.
Kamara is one of the main men for Finland and has been performing consistently for Rangers.
Morelos goal record speaks for itself.
Barisic is a Croatian International and is now doing the business week in / week out.
Throw in our younger players like Katic, Kent and Aribo and once they gain consistent performances in Europe and at SPFL level offers will come on for them as well.
Especially now that we are on the brink of becoming top dogs in Scotland. 👍.

I just hope that when they do move on, we aren't going out buying expensive exports. the likes on Nathan Young-Coombes/ Kai Kennedy/ Stephen Kelly/ Maxwell etc. we hear so much about them and have barely seen a peep. Barjonas and Docherty anyone? Would love nothing more than to see Kamara sold and Docherty to move straight in and show us what he's capable of.

How can we judge if he is good enough? Nor do i believe that Kamara is in fact, one of our best players, ( I will stress that i am not saying he isn't brilliant, but out of Davis/ Jack and kamara is the least consistent and although he is a neat and tidy player, offers little in terms of attack in my opinion.

Glad the whole debacle from the dark side over morelos celebration can be put to bed. Just have to watch the clip of him celebrating aribos goal over in denmark. And with kent sure robbie keane done it every time he scored. Some fantasist has made up mores booted christie in balls in the tunnel and he's getting a ball removed. Honestly man 1 defeat at parkhead from us and there literally losing there marbles.

Would have to agree - first OF game at ibrox, Flanagan was at LB and BB wasn't getting a look in. Even a few on here (myself included I'm sorry to say) were questioning wether he could handle playing for us, but after scoring that free kick v St Mirren, he hasn't looked back and is now showing us how great a player he is.

Like yourself SirStruth, i also questioned whether barisic had the heart to play in scottish football,
with also the expectations at our club weighing heavily on him! I stated many times on here that Borna's talent was not in question, it was could he hack playing for a club our size, in a physical, demanding league. He was a talented left back and went away in the summer past there, worked very hard without taking much of a pre season break and has come back injury free and physically much stronger. He's now settled into his new country and new club and is proving what we all probably knew anyway, what a class left back he is!

None of our first team players will be sold in January. The only ones who will be going is fringe players to get them off the wage bill. I fully expect at least 2/ 3 players coming in made up of at least one permanent and 2 loans.

Agree to the above. By winning the league we will attract a better quality player than the likes of shnkland by being in the CL. The staff will do their usual and have players ready to come in at the opening of the transfer window summer 2020, then we can, if SG wants transfer out Morelos, Kamara etc etc for good fees.

I see at least six going, with maybe one in. Loans, on the whole, don't have time to settle well enough. It's difficult to sign quality in January and by the time they're properly bedded in it's getting close to the end of the season. We should keep a good, tight squad and I'm sure the manager knows what he wants.

So i have read various stories about our players being in big demand in EPL morelos, jones, kamara and tav. And barisic now being linked with move to italy. With them keeping up their great form that could be way in excess of 50million pouds worth of players. In my opinion i don't think just now we would miss jones as had lengthy injury. Could be repllaced by maybe hastie coming back from loan spell. I hope we keep hold of our players until the end of season but who are rumoured to be watching to replace them? I know Lewis Ferguson from Aberdeen and Aaron Hickey have caught the eye IMO hickey is couple seasons of regular first yeam football away yet. But any othe targets?

Only one that seems to have any substance is Lovre Mayer from Dinamo Zagreb. Plays in midfield but can also play as a number 10. Has fallen down the pecking order at Zagreb. Only stumbling block is the fee. probably 4/5 million but a player that we could certainly develop and shift on for a big profit.

And a club in Celtic, that is more concerned with the idea of Morelos gesture than they are with the idea that he was racially abused.

The Morelos gesture is "game over " where he comes from. they moan about the Kent gesture, but a few years ago when Robbie keane scored for them and any other club he played for, did he not do a forward gambol and then point his hands at the crowd like he was firing a pair of pistols? So recently I have seen stories linking morelos, kamara, jones and now barisic with moves away. For me these 4 players would command realistically possibly 50million more if they have decent summer if on international duty. And I wouldn't allow any to leave until summer but my question is who would be realistic replacements that we have been linked with. I would take Ferguson from Aberdeen as kamara replacement should he leave. Really like the boy and think he could emulate the contribution kamara has made.

Ferguson couldn't lace kamara's boots and is nowhere near as an ideal replacement for kamara. Kamara is starts every week. With the exception of aribo on the right, that was our best team against celtic. Why the feck would anyone want to ruin that by selling kamara and bringing in lewis ferguson. 🤦♂️👍.

Our play is flowing better because we have taken aribo out of the middle and we have the right players in the middle. Aribo was chasing shawdow's all day against celtic. We need a RF in this window. Aribo is not the answer on the right or in the middle. 👍.

I'm sorry but going to start with a moan. I am getting really fed up with all the Alfredo bashing on here . The boy takes enough stick from everyone else involved in our corrupt game . We should be standing behind this kid as if we are to achieve anything this season it will be down largely to his efforts . Our captain a few weeks ago made comments about how buff had carried us this season.
I truly believe he will stay and deliver us 55 then leave as one of the best strikers our league has ever seen, making our club a fortune at the same time.

The difference in him now as to when he signed is phenomenal. Yes he hasn't scored against them but that has been down to some horrendous bad luck. I thought he was superb on Sunday, bullying and harrying their defenders and linking up well with the other guys.
There is no doubt he is an exceptional talent. He has done really well to keep his cool for the most part, especially under the most significant amounts of goading and provocation from all quarters, on and off the park and in the media.
Stevie just needs to take him to one side during the break, reset him and get him ready for our assault on the title. The 3 games he will be missing will take care of themselves. We have more than enough to take care of these and hopefully the lad will be ready and waiting to be unleashed on the sheep at Ibrox.

Guys great result the other day everyone put in 110% across the field it was about time we won with the amount of times we have played them now and been all over them
My big worry is, casting back my memory last year we bet them going into new year

This year we have a game in hand to go top but looking at the fixtures we have coming up, if and it will probably happen Morelos gets a ban whether it's 2-3 or more games I'm worried we won't have the fire power to put some of these teams away it's already proven this season it's Morelos more then anyone we rely on for goals
And that horrible sending off at he end of the game could really come to haunt us guys
I really urge Gerrard to go for a striker in this window forget midfielders wingers etc we need a top striker to fill the gap for Morelos who can come straight in and put goals away
We are going to need to win every game from now til end of season
No club and by looks of no referees want us to win the league the decisions against us this season has been horrific and it's damn well shocking it's being allowed to carry on
Numerous decisions not going to go into them all
Every other club is going to be trying to get points off us and the refs will carry on giving bad decisions against us
So we need everyone fit and available for the fight it going to be to get 55 this season
We're now in a great position and one it's now in our own hands to go on and win
With no Morelos we could really struggle to break some of these teams down that are going to park the bus
Defoe for me is a sub who can come on but not one to rely on for a full 90 mins every game morels could find himself banned for

We won 3-0 at Easter Road without Alfie, how many did he score on Sunday, we have players who will get more opportunities, Alfie, and I love the guy for his efforts and his goals, can be selfish at times, three times on Sunday he could have laid a ball off, and didn't, I repeat, I'm not slagging Alfie, just saying the game opens up more for others when we can't always rely on him.

A good article today on McCoist's analysis of Morelos's sending off. He says the fact that he dived instead taking another touch and getting his shot on goal concerns him ever so slightly. You can read into that as you want but it strikes at the core of a striker's instincts. Now we're looking at Feb before he's eligible to play missing St Mirren and Hearts. He was already suspended for Stranraer. His ambition is to play for a top EPL club. Even his agent says he's not doing himself any favours with these reds.

That dive was the worst I've seen of a Rangers player. Gerrard said the red was thoroughly deserved. If 7 reds were given for really stupid reasons to one of our great midfielders or defenders fans would be outraged but no, too many excuses given to Morelos because he's a goal scorer. I want the best for him but he's got to grow up. He's letting us all down.

I've been critical of Tav this season, particularly after the Young Boys game in Switzerland however I thought he had his best game in a Rangers Jersey on Sunday. Looked so assured defensively and with the emergence of Barasic at lett back there isn't that pressure on him to he our sole contributor going forward from full back. I see Kent and Borna are on set piece duties too, hopefully this performance can be the catalyst for a improved second half of the season for Tav.
Wonder is Mark Wilson still has Frimpong ahead of Tav in his old firm 11 eh? I see the young lad has went from hero to zero with the Celtic faithful after Sunday, oh my days!
