You've got to love the takeover panels clarification "For the avoidance of doubt. " clearly someone has alerted them to the moonhowlers πŸ˜‚. Still doesn't seem to have been clear enough for them though 🧐.

Over on the celtic pages the plastic pitch debate is ongoing. To be fair on this one I couldn't agree more. there's simply no place for them in top division football. Player safety and the advantage it gives the home team are two of the hot topics. Again I agree. The one i most agree with though is the quality of the game to watch. If we are serious about selling our product it needs to be entertaining. There is nothing entertaining about watching games on these pitches. It's a hard old slog. Maybe showing more games from ibrox and celtic park than just the old firm games? Specifically avoiding showing games with these pitches until they change to grass.

Risk of injury, the spectacle I agree with. Unfair advantage i wouldn't say. Us and the smellys budget blows these teams out the water, any advantage they can think of its our job to deal with it.

Jmaster, I wouldn't know because i'm not interested in their pages or take anything to do with them. Its all about us, as far as i'm concerned and don't be like them, who are continually obsessed with us and constantly troll our pages. They've got an illness called RANGERSITIS!
That's it in a nutshell mate!

SGL I get what you're saying but I enjoy when we are doing well and they start to foam at the mouth. Twitter brings me great amusement as well se of them are deranged. The issue of plastic pitches was regularly discussed on here as well last season, it's something that most fans of all clubs dislike (other than the sides utilising them) .

If Celtic dropping 2pts today doesn't motivate us to a convincing win then nothing will.

They dropped 3 points jmaster. πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ˜.

2.) 28 Sep 2019 16:54:23
Really ger4life? I thought you got 1pt for a draw? πŸ€”.

3.) 28 Sep 2019 16:55:34
No they dropped 2 u get a point for a draw.

4.) 28 Sep 2019 17:01:41
Eh? 2 points dropped.

We have drawn Livi away. Another plastic pitch πŸ™ˆ. It's horrible to watch these games. I understand it with East Fife being league 1 and if it was only the odd cup game fair enough. Killie, Livi, Hamilton though that's a quarter of the top league. It's detrimental to the overall product of the league and in some cases dangerous. Time for them to go.

1.) 18 Aug 2019 18:06:33
Jmaster that’s how I hope livi and Hamilton get relegated.

2.) 18 Aug 2019 18:38:32
Couldn't agree more John seems that's the only way to get these pitches out of the league.

3.) 18 Aug 2019 19:15:42
Benig from forfar i don't often hear about players getting bad injuries on the pitches. Not a great surface but we should be able to play on the comfortably considering we have them at the training ground so we will be training on them leading up to these games.

4.) 18 Aug 2019 21:08:19
paul86 our training pitches I believe are in better condition! And training and playing a competitive match are two completely different things!

Interesting that King said today he's in the last year of his Leicester deal. Free at the end of the season so this year is effectively a trial. By all accounts the Leicester fans rate him. I wasn't overly enamoured with the Arfield signing and that has worked out perfectly. Hopefully this lad is the same. Premier league experience and came up the league's so has obviously worked hard. I'm positive about this one.

You weren't enamoured by bringing in a Canada international with almost 100 PL appearances? Hmm. Interesting.

2.) 16 Aug 2019 23:05:45
Jmaster arfield was always going to be brilliant for us. how could you not be happy with that signing. Been producing the good in england for years.

Kaney not saying you are wrong I don't know if it's a loan or overdraft. But you pay interest on an overdraft every month if you are into it as well. The only real difference is with a loan a lump sum arrives in your bank whereas an overdraft allows you to go into the negative (basically spend the banks money) as and when you please. Being a business account there could also be a set fee for the privilege of having the overdraft which could look like interest payments. I do remember a story a while back about an overdraft and another about a loan both from close brothers so it's possible both are true. It doesn't mean rangers are skint though as the purpose if I remember right was to improve our credit rating with the banks going forward. People do this all the time as do companies. It's prudent to have options if anything unforeseeable were to happen.

You're right Boli-poly but he could have a Portuguese passport. There's also the 3 man panel who can grant a permit for young players if you can prove their potential. That lads plays for Brazil at youth level that would probably be enough. I don't think there's any truth in it though. Boy appears to be on the radar of top prem and me liga sides.

To be honest I've been encouraged by Barisic the last 2 games. Don't need a LB if he can step up. If he doesn't then move for a LB in January. Get Kenty back now. Ojo doesn't offer the same.

He is contracted until 2023 with a buyout clause of €50m so I doubt it. Unless it's a loan to get him in the shop window for EPL teams.

Couldn't agree more supercoop. Kent is better than anything we have and is desperate to come to ibrox. Probably more because his missus is in Glasgow than anything else so hopefully she's on a long term contract wherever she works 🀣.

SRK Tav has kept it simple the last couple of games and done really well. I know your name has Katic in it, but it's hard to see past the back 4 just now. Keeping Porto out at home and they needed a wonder goal at the Dragao as well.

Too low. We shouldn't accept less than Β£15m, if someone wants him. He's a Finnish international and one of their best players at that.

Totally agree. I've felt recently Goldson was our weakest CB, but he seems to be getting back on form. Helander alongside him seems to be helping. It's easy to forget Goldson is only 26, which is still young for a CB. Helander is 26 as well but has a lot of experience for his age. Special shout out to Tav as well who has taken a lot of stick recently. He was solid enough and involved for the first goal. Hopefully getting back to form as well.

They aren't shocking results at all, unless you only read the headlines. Turnover should be increased again this year and the squad is complete. We don't need to sell any key players. Removing some of the fringe players would help though. I'm going to put my neck on the line and say the fine for the SDI breach won't be much more than the contractual cap, if it's even above that.
