Noone from within rangers has ever actually said that though have they? An Italian paper has said rangers would want north of 10m euros? and apparently that is now the gospel.

Its less than £10million our board value borna barisic at mate. Its €10million, which equates to around £8.6million. We should be accepting a fee of no less than £15million and place that value on barisic's head, as a starting point. Hope to god we don't sell borna! 🙏.

Providing he continues his form and has a decent euros then he must be worth 20 plus million to these European teams that wouldn't think twice of parting with that kind of money for an English reserve.

None of us for definite know what our board have valued barisic it, if indeed at all. We can only read reports on every subject for that matter, unless someone from our club actually verifies it! that's just the way the football world works. All speculation until either agreed or denied. I only hope we don't sell barisic and that reported valuation figure ain't true.

No valuation has ever been made public by the club. Roma said the club wanted £8.6 million which they thought was too expensive. I've said before arsenal paid £20+ million for injury prone Tierney and there's no reason we can't get that for BB if he has a good Euros. Obviously, I'd prefer if he stayed.

I have to politely disagree with some of the valuations being put up by some posters for Borna. Let ne start by saying that I don't want him to leave at all but suggestions that 25m is a fair price if he has a good euros is ridiculous in my opinion. Relating is value to that if Kieran Tierneys as well is not a like for like comparison. When considering how much a player is worth his age is a major factor. BB is 27. Say he signs a 5 year contract if he signs for Roma and extends his contract at some point if he is doing well. That would be him is his thirties with a very low sell on value. Kieran Tierney is 21/ 22 and will be in his late twrnties still with a sell on value to Arsenal if they decided to let him go. 27 is not old and is probably where a full back will be coming into his peak but the sell on value is a factor when considering price. Like i said, i don't want him to go but if 15m came in i don't think we as a club would be in a position to turn that down, especially if the player wants to go.

Need to play some fringe players in games like this give 1st team a rest and give some players a chance all getting paid sitting there doing nothing isn’t good
We need some of them playing to be able to come in for injuries and bans etc and be nice to see who we can rely on to play.

Surely has to be our 1st eleven then if 3 or 4 up at 65 mins bring on some subs. Not playing our 1st eleven could have a detrimental effect on their fitness. If for example Kent doesn't play on Fri by the time St Mirren comes round he won't have played 90 minutes since the 29/ 12, ie 3 1/ 2 weeks. Fitness crucial and we must be ready for St Mirren.

The stigno1, Firth isn't even second choice keeper, Edmondson is not a right back, Polster is not a centre half, Helander and Barjonas are injured, Docherty is waiting for his taxi, but apart from that you're probably miles out.

A number of those mentioned will not play either because of injury or because they're waiting on their taxi out. I think a couple of the boys who were in Dubai will feature, at least on the bench, as they will be filling in squad places in the second part of the season for those about to be the departed. I'd look for a strong team with Paterson at least on the bench.

There has been a lot of talk of how Barisic, Morelos and Davis have came right onto a game (rightly so they have been class) but rarely does anyone mention the turn around in big Goldson. Granted he is still prone to the odd wobble but that will happen. He has been brilliant this season. Is it 13 goals conceded in all competitions? and Goldson is the one constant at the back. I think he deserves far more recognition than he is currently getting. On a sidenote, some of our stats compared to last year are unbelievable. The improvement is there for all to see. I can't wait for the football to get going again. These breaks are a nightmare.

He has definetly improved since his error against them at ibrox. However still has many shakey moments and has been far from a stand out performer for us.

OF game was definitely a high point for him performance wise.
But as I've said repeatedly, on plastic he is a bombscare, unfortunately we still have to go to a quite a few of them before the end of season.

Goldson is a good centre half and is getting better. I've seen McKinnon, Gough, Butcher, the lot, all having 'wobbles' and making mistakes, it's called being human. Sadly we have a generation of laptop loyal fans who are hyper critical of the least wee thing.
