29 Dec 2020 21:51:10
3 points, simple.

30 Dec 2020 09:03:44
As ever, any win 👍.

30 Dec 2020 11:59:50
Correct Seeker.
1-0 with a deflection of the refs arse would do me. 👍.

29 Dec 2020 20:39:27
I know we have a game on Wednesday and that’s the important one but just looking forward to the game against them, if Arfield is out do you think he’ll play Davis and Kamara as the holding players with Aribo further forward or do you think he’ll go more cautious and Zungu and Davis holding with Kamara further forward?

29 Dec 2020 20:51:34
Hope Zunga doesn't play he's not ready for Sat yet.

29 Dec 2020 21:19:38
Unless injuries zero and i mean zero %chance zungu starts v them.

29 Dec 2020 21:19:49
Alloa, zungu won’t start.

29 Dec 2020 21:41:15
I hope you’re all correct, I’d like to see Aribo as the forward midfielder with Kent, Morelos and Roofe up top. I think Roofe has been excellent since getting up to match speed and gives us some good cover defensively against set pieces as well as his energy up front. We need to be on it for both tomorrow and Saturday, we can’t afford anyone having an off game.

29 Dec 2020 22:12:13
at the risk of offending anyone, I wouldn't play Alfie first half tomorrow, I would prefer to play safe and have him available on Saturday. unless of course he's needed at h/ t

its just my take and I would rather itten and roofe and have morelos hungry and available, many will disagree, but its a forum for everyones opinion.

29 Dec 2020 22:42:47
I wouldn't be very surprised if the football is called off this weekend. Seems to be getting widespread virus spread in England and will work it's way up here.

29 Dec 2020 23:03:25
Please don’t ban another old firm game lol get it out way and maybe have a 2 week full lock down inc sports, circuit breaker in time for European games starting again soon.

30 Dec 2020 00:25:14
I'd give kent a rest tomorrow and play roofe morelos and itten. Goals in that, het the ball up the park quicker.

30 Dec 2020 10:03:30
Morelos will start.

29 Dec 2020 20:35:28
If Alfie scored a hat trick in the OF match, there would be some on here that would still criticise him for not getting four. Nobody says that you don't deserve an opinion or have to like every player, but this borders on being a witch hunt. It wasn't him who said he was worth more than £16m. He wasn't the one who turned down the move to Lille.

The frustration he is showing by not scoring is not the actions of a guy who doesn't care or has thrown the toys out the pram. The most glaring evidence is that has team mates haven't given up on him and if you ever care to look at some of the training videos then it proves he's still popular in the dressing room. Give the lad a break and whilst he pulls on the blue jersey then back him and if his confidence returns it might just be the deciding factor in the run in. Heres to a successful 2021.

29 Dec 2020 20:54:13
Definitely not a witch hunt more he's had more chances from the fans than any other player, nobody doubts his ability but at times he's a complete liability. This is a game we need 11 to stay on the park and he's shown in the past he's likely to lose the plot.

29 Dec 2020 21:12:19
Del, it would be fab if he scored 1 goal, never mind 3.

29 Dec 2020 21:29:52
I AGREE WITH SWEEP, UP TIL HIS LAST FEW REDS I ABSOLUTELY ADORED THE GUY, IN FACT ONE OF MY TRUCKS HAS A RANGERS FLAG WITH HIS FACE ON IT, DRIVEN BY A POLISH CELTIC SUPPORTER INDEED LOL,
I can't UNDERSTAND WHY ANY RANGERS FAN wouldn't BE ANGRY WITH A PLAYER WHO SEEMS UNABLE TO CONTROL HIMSELF, AND HAVING SAID THAT I WOULD DEFINETLY HAVE HIM IN THE TEAM ON SATURDAY, NOT SURE IF I WOULD TOMORROW THOUGH. JUST IN CASE.

29 Dec 2020 21:35:03
He did throw his toys out the pram and went in a huff when he never got his move. That did happen. And he owes the fans a hattrick. Its not a witch hunt and as sweep said he is liability, that has been proven, Gerrard has spoken to him many times about his attitude, infact gerrard said he can't make anymore excuses. I hope to god he gets back to the form he showed at the start of last season, we would be unstoppable. 👍.

29 Dec 2020 21:43:50
Del I think a few guys have said on here already, Kent and Alfie have went off the boil, god help teams when those two start hitting some form again. And you’re right, you seen Tav the other week apologising you him for not finding him with his cross, even though we scored!

29 Dec 2020 21:49:55
Coldo, agreed. I say play him tomorrow night and IF he does well also likely start on Saturday.

29 Dec 2020 21:53:20
100% agree with with del in everything you say it’s just a lot of rangers fans have turned on him unfortunately.

TT have you a problem with caps locks 🤦‍♂️.

29 Dec 2020 22:13:08
I don't think people have turned on him KJA9. I think folk are just fed up with his petulance. Its ok for fans to say support him but surely he has to show the same support to fans, the team and the club. His attitude has let us, the team and the club down many times over the last 4 years. When will he learn? Next week, next month, next year? 👍.

29 Dec 2020 22:17:50
yes mate, its called intravenous morphine

do you remember greetin about me seemingly calling you out a few months ago? is it ok for me to not notice the caps was on? is it bothering you?

sorry about that kj. but let it go mate.

29 Dec 2020 22:24:48
Tomthumb, you say you don't understand why any Rangers fan would be angry at Morelos. It's very simple- the guy is getting paid a lot of money every week and in return ( at the moment) he's not doing his job. Getting sent off is letting himself, his colleagues, his manager and his fans down. We need 11 on the pitch. Yes he's scored a load of important goals but for me he cannot control his temper. I really can't imagine anyone wanting to pay 16 million now.

29 Dec 2020 22:27:43
Definitely alloager if Alfie and Kent can find form and our defence gets back to its best we would have a very scary team for opponents including anybody in the europa league.

30 Dec 2020 07:12:47
stuck, I said exactly the opposite of that mate, I agree with everything you say, seems even when I agree I’m wrong lol, anyway you may not see this mate.

30 Dec 2020 08:04:55
Its his new role. still adapting to it 😂😂.

30 Dec 2020 11:30:30
Ah the new role🤭😂😂👍.

29 Dec 2020 16:29:48
Team for St Mirren tomorrow

McLaughlin

Tav
Goldson
Helander
Barasic

Roofe
Davis
Kamara
Aribo
Kent

Morelos.

29 Dec 2020 17:41:26
I fancy rangers 2-0 the morra bankie and i would agree with your rangers team with the exception of greegs starting instead of mclauglin 👍🇬🇧.

29 Dec 2020 18:30:14
As long as it’s our strongest 11 possible we underestimated them the last time and lost.

29 Dec 2020 18:40:20
🔴⚪️🔵
Team I’d go with for tomorrow / Sat

McLaughlin / Greegs in Sat
Tav
Goldson
Balogun / Helander in Sat
Barasic
Zungu / Davis in Sat
Kamara
Aribo
Hagi / Roofe in Sat
Kent
Morelos

Fancy us for 2-0 and 2-1 wins.
🔴⚪️🔵.

29 Dec 2020 19:20:22
That’s exactly what the team will be on Saturdayadsuming Arfield is out and given Jack is injured (not that jack, Davis and Kamara would all start even if fit)

Morelos 100% starts pretty much regardless of form given we have won the last 2 OF’s with him playing and lost the one before that. Hagi hasn’t started a game vs. them (although there has only been one) and it will be same this time (but lightweight)

Helander will come in based on his positional sense and the fact he has played pretty well vs them before in the league cup final and last OF.

29 Dec 2020 19:55:38
Dont fancy zungu and aribo in same midfield tomorrow tbh. Quite a laid back style along with aribo, you saw last wed the pressing and winning the ball back didn't work the same with those 2 in midfield together.

29 Dec 2020 20:35:43
Play strongest possible team 2moro. That don't include zungu.

29 Dec 2020 20:45:02
McGregor for McLaughlin and that will probably be the team bankie. 👍.

29 Dec 2020 20:55:24
If morelos comes in it should be kent dropping out, he's done nothing in weeks now.

29 Dec 2020 21:15:41
Sweep, neither has Morelos apart from letting himself, his team mates, his manager and the supporters down again. He doesn't deserve to play at the moment. PS. I'm certainly not a Morelos hater.

29 Dec 2020 21:56:57
As I said IF he comes back in, I honestly think it should be itten and roofe instead of kent and morelos just now.

29 Dec 2020 22:47:01
If Alf can stay on the park and play like he did the last 10 mins v hobs, he is first pick all day long.
HOWEVER, can anyone guarantee either of those things?

29 Dec 2020 16:05:57
Does anyone think that Gerrard is in a bit of a quandary with regards to Kent and Morelos? Both are sellable assets who have gone off the boil.

Does Gerrard keep playing them, hoping they improve their form and therefore increase their value, or give someone else a chance in their place, and still hope that a decent offer arrives when it is time to move them on?

29 Dec 2020 17:20:19
On kent and morelos can't see either leaving until the summer at the earliest, so got to hope both will be back in form by then, personally would play both on Saturday along with roofe as there movement will pull celtic defence to pieces.

29 Dec 2020 17:27:40
We need them dropped 2 weeks ago to give them a boot in the arse and get back in tonight ready for the Celtic game that would been my thinking but I’m not gerrard so fair enough, however the same would apply again before euro tie in February as we need a strong 11 all on top of there game. That mob Antwerp beat Spurs albeit not spurs 11. I do feel gerrard can be overly loyal at times to players but instances like tabs turn in form shows it does work in some instances.

29 Dec 2020 19:57:20
Kent is way off it, however just his presence alone pulls 2 players towards him leaving spaces for others. Wee man will come good again.

29 Dec 2020 20:18:17
Spot on herewego55.

29 Dec 2020 21:12:15
Wee Kent works his socks off for the team and he never hides even if he has two men marking him. I agree with Herewego wee man will regain his form and tear some team apart.

29 Dec 2020 14:35:42
Its amazing how goldson has developed considering when we signed him he was recovering with a heart problem.

29 Dec 2020 14:46:16
Wouldnt really say developed as pre surgery was mainstay in brightons side. we signed him 11 months after his surgery i think. He has massively improved this season for us. As he was a bombscare last season think think honestly that may have been due to pairing with either worral or katic. Big man been solid this season.

29 Dec 2020 14:56:22
I would say 11m9nth recovery is a long time for heart problem tho.

29 Dec 2020 15:29:56
Dsgersfan where has any one written it took him 11 months to recover.

29 Dec 2020 15:55:35
was it not after surgery, 11 months or not, i don't think you can put a time limit on it. over exertion at an early stage can set you back big time.

29 Dec 2020 16:13:53
It was paul that said 11m9nth.

29 Dec 2020 16:31:27
At least we signed Goldson, we didn't sign Asa Hartford who had a heart problem and didn't John Hartson have a heart problem as well?

29 Dec 2020 17:01:47
Bluetoon we should have signed john hartson. Sure was his knee he failed medical on tho? Could be wrong.

29 Dec 2020 17:06:22
Aye think your right Paul, sure it was his knee.

29 Dec 2020 17:17:07
Big Goodson has won me a right few quid this season with the anytime goal scorer bets, big man always 9/ 2 or 5/ 1, brilliant bet, he’s been a top man for the team this season, long may it continue and ill be having a bullseye on him for anytime goal scorer next Saturday to start the new year off to a bang 3 points against the **** and a few quid, great to be a a bear!

29 Dec 2020 17:25:58
It was his knees, and he has never got over it.

29 Dec 2020 17:31:19
Didn’t stop big Johnny Horta on breaking our hearts on a few occasions bluetoon, how I wish we got the big man instead of flo. He’s a big genuine guy gives 110% regardless dodgy knees n awe the rest. He was a proper old style centre forward n would have been an absolute hero at ibrox. Imagine him getting on the end off wee McCanns n mum and crosses. Could’ve helped ups keep the league a few times a player like that.

29 Dec 2020 17:33:05
Would have been great for us tom imo. He certainly wasnt bad for them.

29 Dec 2020 17:37:05
Bluetoon, i was not aware back in the day we were in for Asa Hartford and withdrew for medical reasons. Recall he had big move in England fall through before getting move to Man City, unaware we were interested.

29 Dec 2020 18:01:29
Yip hartson would have been great for us and IMO he’s knees, which obviously were in some sort of damage, never once affected him after we knocked him back. He was immense for Celtic both domestically and in Europe. Great player and wish he was ours. Previous post was auto corrected I meant to say mccann and numan crosses. He’d have ran amok.

29 Dec 2020 18:20:44
Agree Hartson would have done well at brox. Recall at that time we had made a fair number of high profile signings where our medical due diligence was questioned. Perhaps signature of Hartson suffered as consequence of that.

29 Dec 2020 18:23:39
Paul said we signed him 11 months after surgery, Goldston says he was training 3 months after surgery.

29 Dec 2020 20:23:25
it certainly didn't stop him paul, in fact I believe it drove him to prove rangers wrong.

I was speaking with Jordan Campbell 2 weeks ago, he's my neighbour since he was 8, he interviewed flo for the athletic, he was gobsmacked that flo scarcely knew who his teammates were, and that he wasn't aware advocaat had taken the captaincy from amo and gave it to barry . he said it was a very boring interview.

29 Dec 2020 22:31:19
Was this interview while flo was still at rangers Tom or lately mate?

30 Dec 2020 07:15:13
No inger, just a couple of months ago mate.

30 Dec 2020 13:32:51
Cheers Tom.

29 Dec 2020 13:10:21
Guys we all had our tuppence worth the other day on here, debating if our veteran goalkeeper allan mcgregor should get another 1 year deal after this season and if he should still be the rangers no.1🤔I would like to throw this same question out here,
regarding our veteran, still terrific IMHO,
midfielder steven davis 🤔Should wee davo get another 1 year deal, after this season 🤔
Its most definitely a resounding yes from me 👍🇬🇧He's still a terrific midfielder and still capable, especially with our management team picking and choosing his game time 👍
Davis is a big game player without a doubt and gerrard's use of davo in the certain big games, most definitely proves that 👌
Gerrard still trusts davo to the hilt! The guy imo is a total thoroughbred, with at least another couple of years left with rangers 👌.

29 Dec 2020 13:14:49
Coops, Davis excellent this season and contract will be extended.

29 Dec 2020 13:25:30
I’d say yes.
Not so sure re Defoe in terms off minutes against salary
I’d also extend mcgregor.

29 Dec 2020 13:30:35
John i would say no to defoe unless willing to dramatically reduce wages. Basically 4th choice striker.

29 Dec 2020 13:34:25
McGregor deserves to stay but we don’t know the extent of his injuries with the arthritis, perhaps he stays but plays as a number 2 to mcglaughlin. Both no1s IMO but shagger may play less games next year not that he’s broke Barry’s euro record and if we win the league he may be happy to offere back up and play here and there to we decide if jono is indeed no1 material for ranger. Davo will get a new 1 year deal and just play until he feels his legs leave him. Regards Defoe, he’s a class act and I’d like to keep him but the minutes v wage thing is concerning with the debt the club are in. Perhaps he takes on a player coach role and drops some money then I’d keep him as 3rd choice striker.

29 Dec 2020 13:42:24
I thought Morelos was 4th choice striker according to some on here🤔.

29 Dec 2020 14:20:26
I would me er insult Alfie by calling him 4th choice striker clearly he’s our 1st choice. But on form, and goals return and assists. he should be 4th choice striker behind roofe itten and Defoe. That’s there to see but obviously he must still be meeting his running targets and putting in the draft or he would be out the team. He’s certainly at a crossroads in his life never mind career, went from a £16 m move to Lille to (potentially) 4th. House striker in Scotland it’s a big wake up call for him. Let’s hope he gets a goal v Celtic and kicks on for the 2nd half of season when we will need him most.

29 Dec 2020 14:24:11
Coops don’t believe Defoe’s contract will be extended. Believe likely McGregor’s contract will be extended although will no longer be our first choice keeper.

29 Dec 2020 14:52:07
I think all 3 of mcgregor, davis and defoe will all get new 1 year deals 🤔.

29 Dec 2020 15:25:53
Yes for McGregor and Davis but I’d say probably not for Defoe.

29 Dec 2020 15:52:54
Defoe shouldn’t get a one year deal maybe a coaching job but no playing deal.

Davis a cert for a new deal

McGregor may retire if we win the league this year.

29 Dec 2020 16:40:40
No to defoe. Why outlay all that to hardly play any minutes.

29 Dec 2020 17:34:54
I do believe Defoe will join the coaching team at rangers when he retires so why not keep him on the playing staff in case we need him? He’s super fit and always good for a goal. I just don’t feel he’s suited to our style at his age he needs a partner to do all his running and he never was a grafter anyway tbh. If we can afford to upgrade by all means do it and if not try keep him on reduced terms. We could do worse than Defoe as 3rd or 4th choice striker.

29 Dec 2020 17:44:54
Defoe with reduced terms Herewego55 👍.

29 Dec 2020 20:04:22
How much is he going to reduce it tho. Is he even worth anywhere near what were paying in terms of numbers? I'd say no, thsts not a slight on defoe but can't play our system like a roofe or morelos at his age. Hardly had any minutes this season at all even with morelos out of form says it all. Been an amazing player but his times up for me, should be developing itten who has plenty of time at us and is young in front of someone in his last stages of career. Only my opinion tho.

29 Dec 2020 20:18:33
Probably right hwg but if we can get him to drop to £10 or less then worth keeping on the books but I do agree his place in the squad doesn’t really add up for me. Doesn’t suit our style and a lot of money to be playing the st mirrens and the like any big game he’s out the team.

29 Dec 2020 13:07:02
Has the game been changed to 3pm tomorrow? Was showing 7.45pm.

29 Dec 2020 13:25:50
Defo 1500 sweep.

29 Dec 2020 13:43:35
It was originally scheduled for 7:45pm but both St Mirren and Rangers agreed to bring it forward to 3:00pm👍.

29 Dec 2020 15:53:24
I thought the game was 18.00
I haven’t seen it at 7.45 anywhere.

29 Dec 2020 15:54:06
I see it’s now 3.00 🙈.

29 Dec 2020 10:52:52
When we beat this mob Saturday, what would be the headline on the back page of your Sunday paper. i'd put,
"Stevies G Force". 😁.

29 Dec 2020 11:06:19
If we lose to St Mirren tomorrow night what would put as the Headline?

29 Dec 2020 11:10:16
I'd put, snow and ice causes delay in fences round parkhead.

29 Dec 2020 11:31:47
We should only be focusing on one game and that’s st mirren.

29 Dec 2020 12:02:29
I agree with kJ tomorrow is a must win, Saturday is a must not lose.

29 Dec 2020 12:29:08
What would u put if we lose to St mirren Bankie.
Lightning doesn't strike twice, but if it does I'd put "Buddie Hell".

29 Dec 2020 12:41:36
Like the headline Brexit Jam, hopefully we won’t be seeing it on Thursday.

29 Dec 2020 12:42:46
John25, would you take victory over St Mirren and a draw with Celtic?

29 Dec 2020 12:45:20
Positive thinking bankie eh 🤔.

29 Dec 2020 13:16:52
Coops, don’t understand your comment.

29 Dec 2020 13:22:48
If we lose again to St Mirren Bankie mate, god help us on Saturday cause Stevie won't be able to.

29 Dec 2020 13:26:47
quite simple bankie 4 points from 2 games is not positive thinking mate, only 6 will do.

29 Dec 2020 13:27:15
Bankie at the worst. Would obviously want six points.

29 Dec 2020 13:28:01
SGL follow the thread, bankie is asking me a question based on my post.

29 Dec 2020 13:42:40
John25, agree we want and should be aiming for 9 points including game against the sheep.

29 Dec 2020 13:57:55
Defo I want full points till end of January. Then we r well into the countdown

Bankie can’t believe you r getting stick from them that can’t follow the thread.
Yet them that ask what headlines would be if st mirren win no reply lol.

29 Dec 2020 14:06:39
John25 you follow why i posted positive thinking, it was in regards to bankie posting 'IF' we lose to st. mirren🤔Be positive we will beat st. mirren👍🇬🇧 Cup half full and all that!

29 Dec 2020 14:08:09
Goes without saying bankie, we WANT and SHOULD be aiming for 9 points from our next 3 league games 🤔🤔.

29 Dec 2020 14:20:32
Coops, calm down, time for wee Brian Laudrup and tonic I think.

29 Dec 2020 14:23:54
I’d be happy to beat st mirren draw with Celtic and beat aberdeen as proven in st mirren game we cannot just keep winning every game. Atleast that way we keep our 16 point lead. I’d rather win but I wouldn’t be fussed too much with a draw I’d say don’t lose job done n move on.

29 Dec 2020 14:28:09
SGL we will definitely beat st mirren.

29 Dec 2020 14:38:18
A draw against them would be OK if we were 2-0 down and scored 2 pens in 90+2 and 90+6 mins.
Imagine the pandemonium, but I'll still go 3-1.

29 Dec 2020 14:55:52
Lets just go and beat st. mirren,
them and the sheep, instead of this if we draw with them, if we get beat with them etc👍🇬🇧.

29 Dec 2020 14:56:40
Or even a glen moray bankie 🤔.

29 Dec 2020 15:17:53
I've a feeling that the Arabs might nick something from the midden heap tomorrow. Definitely 6 points for us from next 2 games. 3-0 win over St Mirren and 3-1 against the unwashed.

29 Dec 2020 15:39:27
Glass of lagavulin with 2 ice cubes for me Coops.

29 Dec 2020 16:45:16
Is lagavulin a single malt whisky 🥃 bankie 🤔.

29 Dec 2020 17:09:00
Tamnavulin single malt one ice cube.

29 Dec 2020 17:34:44
kJ, we can focus on any game on here, it’s a fans forum, not the rangers dressing room, how can you post the exact same things every single day, day in day out, and tell people they can’t talk about other games, then you talk about team for the old firm game? Is it just you who can focus on other games? I’m not having a go but you do talk about teams for other games then tell others they can’t do that.

29 Dec 2020 17:51:29
None today but had a few Glenallachies on Christmas day.

29 Dec 2020 21:55:02
TT pretty easily I can post what you like if you don’t like it don’t read and if I were you I wouldn’t even post on here after the bile that comes out your mouth.

30 Dec 2020 09:01:30
Don't do it Tom, stay put.

Review Of The Day 29th December 2020

29 Dec 2020 07:39:03
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 29th December 2020

29 Dec 2020 01:13:31
My 2nd transfer suggestion for the night, done it on rumours pager losing question could would should Kevin nisbet be an option with defoes age and losing Alfie, likely, to come in and play a role I. The Squad and see how he does his scoring record is phenomenal. 69 in 102 games. My next one I have for u guys to discuss is If arfields Injury is going to keep him out and jacks persistent problems coul we try and get young Gilmour on loan as an alternative to jack for the 2nd half of season and maybe try keep him next year on loan again to help him play 30 -40 games in a year title push and champions league football? Worth looking into it. My other suggestion is Armstrong at Southampton firstly could we afford him and if so he could be a replacement for arfields attacking prowess which we will miss nisbet at end of season and try get Gilmour in January to summer and offer him set amount of games while how much would it cost to get Armstrong could we afford it if we can then he'd be perfect to replace arfield. What do we think guys of the 3 suggestions?

29 Dec 2020 07:48:24
1 i like nisbet i would take him defo.

2. Would take gilmour although never going to happen. Hopefully jacks not far away and arfield not too bad.

3. Armstrong is massive celtic fan and hates us really cannot see this ever happening.

29 Dec 2020 08:41:44
I have liked nisbett since he was at Dunfermline.

Billy gilmour can’t see us getting him on loan.

Would take Armstrong but don’t think we can afford him and he does get his game for Southampton so can’t see them selling.

29 Dec 2020 09:09:19
IGWT, I said the exact same on here months ago that after watching kevin nisbet at dunfermline several times,
we made a mistake in not signing him 🤔 I don't wear all this s***e on here ie. he's only playing in scotland with dunfermline then and now hibs etc and he's not good enough? He's good enough alright IMO and now there's several english clubs including sheff utd, very interested in signing him🤔He cost hibs a mere 250k, what a steal that was 👌 Nisbet has made the step up to hibs look very easy 👌I also said on here he's streets ahead of lawrence shankland! What's not like about young nisbet fellow bears 🤔
He's a very good/ natural finisher who's scoring goals with hibs, he's good in the air and with both feet,
he has a terrific attitude/ work ethic, he's quite fast, he can drag defenders out of position, so strong and can run the channels 👌 I rest my case 👍If we signed nisbet he would have got better and better and i truly believe this guy has a big future ahead of him, no matter who he eventually signs for after hibs and for the scottish national team!

29 Dec 2020 09:58:56
Young lad Nisbet certainly looks good although think we’ve probably passed on him by now. If Morelos and Defoe away next season think we will spend on a quality striker perhaps from Eastern Europe to compete with Roofe and Itten. Next season would also like one of own young strikers break thru from the youth team.

29 Dec 2020 10:18:00
I'll just wait to see what our management do guys.

29 Dec 2020 11:09:09
I'm not sure Nisbet would want a move to Ibrox as he would very likely not be a regular starter and he'll be wanting as much game time as possible to force himself into the Scotland squad for the Euros.

29 Dec 2020 11:34:21
Bankie what makes Eastern European strikers better than nisbett?

BLuebilly what’s the point of these sites if we can’t talk about signings etc. your response of wait and see what the management do is boring.

29 Dec 2020 11:42:17
1) Nisbet a maybe, although I would hope Itten steps up to the plate as a replacement for Fredo, I believe he has everything to be a great striker .
2) I have no interest in developing other teams players that we cannot sign permanently .
3) Armstrong starting and doing well in the EPL so not sure he would be an option .

29 Dec 2020 11:45:30
Bankie our young strikers not quite ready, Coombes to light. Weston a cracker only just turned 17, Graham best we have just 17.
Alegria if he signs will be pushing I think.

29 Dec 2020 11:55:50
What about McKee?

29 Dec 2020 12:15:47
Yes good again just a bit young and inexperienced for first team.
We have best crop 17; 18 year olds than we have had for 10-15 years IMO.

29 Dec 2020 12:26:03
The question isn't whether Nisbett is good enough in Scotland but whether he can score goals in the latter stages of the Europa League and hopefully next season the CL.
In both cases, it's a no from me.
Gilmour and Armstrong, I would have in a heartbeat as they improve the squad.

29 Dec 2020 12:37:26
John25, always a bit worried when we say our crop of youngsters have quality and promise and not quite ready. We’ve recently lived thru the Dallas, Hardie and Ruddy etc and told they had promise and would make the grade. Once a player reaches 18 don’t believe they progress much skill wise. We can all think of players who have made the breakthrough at 17-19 age group both at Ibrox and elsewhere.

29 Dec 2020 12:40:55
Anybody fancy dykes?

Kiddin on coops 😂😂😂😂😂.

29 Dec 2020 12:56:52
I haven't seen Nisbet play but his stats look great and I'm trusting Coops' judgement. Losing Morelos and Defoe in the summer is likely. Itten and Roofe are class but we'd need backup. If that's not workable for Nisbet and game time we could loan him back to Hibs.

29 Dec 2020 13:12:09
Should've signed him and loaned him to hibs or the sheep to develop him.

29 Dec 2020 13:32:56
Bankie, agree this crop are far better than three u mention.
Rudden struggles to get game at Patrick
Dallas can’t get game at Cambridge
Hardie gets odd game at Plymouth hardly scores
I wrote on here many a time the three u mention would not reach double figures for rangers
I feel same re Coombes and mebube
I think Graham and Weston will go all the way. Keep an eye on Graham.

29 Dec 2020 13:35:57
KJA9, that's why I'm on here mate to tell you what I'll be doing, is that not what the site is all about.

29 Dec 2020 13:46:39
I think that’s the route we need to go down guys is sign the best in Scotland and loan them out to a team suitable to there style, they either make the grade at ibrox long term or we sell them off down south for a small profit. There may always be the odd waste of money. But it’s successful for Chelsea to sign and loan out until players are ready for club or just not quite good enough so sell them on. It’s a good model. With regards nisbet I also haven’t seen much of him I’m going by numbers and hype and peoples opinions. But I think he may be worth a punt. I think we could maybe get Gilmour on loan tbh I wouldn’t rule it out as long as we garuntee game time. With Armstrong I take you’re points guys he probably happy where he is.

29 Dec 2020 14:06:18
I gerrard our finances don’t allow us to buy loan out and help other teams.

29 Dec 2020 14:11:54
James graham is the striker from ross county John25,is that correct mate 🤔.

29 Dec 2020 14:12:32
Good one GazzaLoyal 😂😂😂.

29 Dec 2020 14:29:29
Yes SGL, he is very very good player already.

29 Dec 2020 17:40:27
I get that John mate I do, my only answer to that is when we sell 2 or 3 and we will the board have said so, then now we would be on a stronger financial footing to then put that model in place but cheap n loan out to develop, hopefully coming into the team in 1 or 2 years. Coming back every year for pre season. If it doesn’t work out sell on for a profit. It’s a good model in theory but I do understand we may struggle to do that financially mate.

29 Dec 2020 18:29:46
Not for me I gerrard, not a good model IMO.

29 Dec 2020 20:09:10
Chelsea have something crazy like 40 odd players out on loan all in I'm sure lol.

28 Dec 2020 23:38:32
I see Kevin nisbit of jobs is being linked with Sheffield United, had a look at his scoring record he has 12 in 24 this season and a career record of 69 in 102 games. That's very good return. Not sure how much he would cost or how long his deal is but do we think he would be worth a punt we could be losing Morelos and Defoe and likely itten and roofe will become 1st and 2nd choice strikers rather than sign a first 11 player could nisbit be worth bringing in as a squad player? I haven't watched much of jobs so can't have an informed oppinion but his goal record is certainly good enough s.

29 Dec 2020 09:17:18
Kevin nisbet is a quality striker i agree IGWT 👍 I have a great laugh when because he's not playing in a bigger league with a better club, that he isn't/ won't be good enough for rangers 😂😂In my experience over the years, that is utter s***e 💩 talk. We would improve kevin nisbet even further with our coaches at rangers as he has all the ingredients a top striker needs 👌.

29 Dec 2020 11:35:57
SGL a lot of posters are like that in here football snobs they are.

They also forget where we got kamara and jack from also.

29 Dec 2020 12:27:51
Nisbett isn't good enough.
Plenty raved about Shankland after all his goals in the lower league - how many does he have this year in the top division? He's been found out.

29 Dec 2020 12:53:13
Totally agree with you KJA9 👍They were probably also the ones shouting when we signed ryan jack, glen kamara that they weren't good enough 🤔I certainly don't here them shouting that now 👂👂MPH, shankland nowhere near as good as kevin nisbet pal!
How many does nisbet have in the top division this year? 🤔🤔 He's most certainly NOT been found out. If he got to rangers how do you know he wouldn't be good enough? I actually think he'd get even better 👌This 💩 talk again, with supporters turning their noses up, because players play in scotland 🤔 There's talented players in scotland, no doubt about that mate!

29 Dec 2020 13:38:16
Ps. no need for hostility KJA9 my friend, we all contribute to the banter.

29 Dec 2020 13:57:34
You're needing to calm down with all this 💩 talk patter, SGL, and realise others are stating valid opinions. It wasn't that long ago you took a wee sabbatical from the site for people saying the sort of thing to you because of your rumours. 👍
And re-read my post - I said Shankland has been found out at this level.
We can't just sign everyone because they've started a season well.
Remember last season everyone wanted to recall Docherty from Hibs because he had a good couple of games for them on loan. Would he get anywhere near our side this season? No chance.
If we signed everyone that posters rate we'd have a strike force of Morelos, Roofe, Itten, Defoe, Shankland, Dykes, Nisbett and Cosgrove.
And even worse Alan Power in midfield and Patrick Roberts up front! 😲👀
I'll take the first 4 strikers over the other 4 all day long. 👍.

29 Dec 2020 14:02:27
We got a certain kenny Miller from hubs and he was a great Servant to our club I was a t his debut against st mirren can’t remember did he score 4 or 5? He was then dropped for the midweek euro game and if my memory serves me right came on and scored in that. Appologise if any of that’s wrong I was about 13,14 lol but players can make the step up if the talent is there u just need to nurture it correctly can u imagine if Defoe was coaching young nisbet day in and out. He would certainly improve further and faster. I would like to enquire on a price but wouldn’t want to go any higher than £2m.

29 Dec 2020 14:10:55
I gerrard he was at club about three months before he scored five against st mirren in league.
Made his debut in euro qualifier, sure first league goal was in a win against killie.

29 Dec 2020 15:25:04
He did get dropped for the Euro game after St Morten though I GET you are right there. Want to say it was against Monaco?

29 Dec 2020 17:44:20
Good to know John 👍 I can polish up on my story lol and cheers snell atleast I know I’m not going overly senile just yet mate 😂 👍 the point being though we can get great players from within Scotland and should be willing to give homegrown players more of a chance.

29 Dec 2020 18:32:54
I gerrard u r right about going for homegrown players .
However, it’s about value, two million, dykes, three million shankland, four million Ferguson, or
Lundstrum, free, Johnston, free, boy from Croatia, one million that’s why we go abroad.

29 Dec 2020 20:11:36
Plus as soon as its rangers other Scottish clubs try to rob us adding money on.

29 Dec 2020 20:27:21
That’s true John, as I said regarding nisbet £2m would my ceiling however would actually like to try get him for £1.25m in January and loan back til summer gives them a million profit and a player for rest of season. I like the look of lundstrum, dunno much about the Croatian left back, who is johnston your mentioning mate? Is that the boy from Preston or something? Am attacking mf? I wouldn’t pay £4m for fergie, and I’m glad we didn’t get shanand, I’m one who wanted him but not at £3m I’d have paid £2m for big dykes though looks a real handful and a very decent big player. But we got itten instead and he may well prove the better player only time will tell. I get you’re point though John ie value for money. U make good points and have a good balanced oppinion on things 👍.

28 Dec 2020 23:35:11
Kent needs too up his game big time if he keeps doing those step overs when in no man's land there's more chance of him doing more damage on strictly come dancing.

29 Dec 2020 14:05:10
😂😂😂 I agree mate he needs dropped or rested call it what u will. Perhaps best thing would be to leave him out tonight n that’s a boot up the arse and a rest just in time for old firm. He is in our best 11 but he’s not performing. And with arfield out wet lookin light middle to from making late runs or running with the ball. Hagi picks passes but not a runner. Aribo could do a job replacing either but after that we’re light.

28 Dec 2020 22:51:27
Let me clarify, and apologise to the editor re my reply on chris Sutton dads passing, ED, I apologise,

John, thank you for not joining in the abuse and hatred showed towards me for my stupid reply
It was of course the same people who reply to everything I've said for a long time, although this the venom was difficult to take,

Il reiterate my condolences to the family.

29 Dec 2020 06:55:23
Tom well done re your apology, the man that never made a mistake has never been born.

29 Dec 2020 08:20:32
I takes a big man to admit he has made a mistake. Well said, Tom, let's move on.

29 Dec 2020 08:43:24
Well done Tom, we've all said things on a spur and bit out tongue afterwards, good man.

29 Dec 2020 08:50:41
Well done tom it takes a better man than most to hold his, hand up and say he got it wrong. beleive me I know from experience🙄.

29 Dec 2020 09:15:11
Well done Tom.

29 Dec 2020 09:20:28
Here here John25,well put mate and well done Tomthumb12 for coming on here to apologise 👍Its more/ the mark of a man that can admit a mistake and make the apology mate 👏👏.

29 Dec 2020 09:42:30
Well said Tom.

29 Dec 2020 10:06:19
Well done Tom.

29 Dec 2020 10:26:24
Was really surprised the Ed allowed the post Tom, I've had far far lesser poor comments than yours rejected. (don't know if my reply will be tho) .

29 Dec 2020 10:53:31
Hatred? Your post was disgusting, and deserved the condemnation it received! i'm glad you're man enough to apologise Tom, but it wasn't a mistake, its the way you actually think! And the mistake was expressing it on here.

29 Dec 2020 11:07:15
Barrow, you need to tone it down - you see a snapshot of Tom from a few comments and all of a sudden you know everything about him - you must be a psychiatrist.

Your posts reads like the post you are condemning!

29 Dec 2020 11:38:47
I was trying not to comment as most are saying well done but hatred is ludicrous you were in the wrong big time .

You need to stop acting like a bitter old man and take what you got on the chin.

I for one think you are only apologising because of the backlash from it and that’s what you posted is what you truly believe.

29 Dec 2020 11:45:14
DK He posts an apology attacking others for rightly condemning his post! What do I need to tone down? And I'm only talking about that post! But do explain how his well thought out original post on Sutton was a mistake? The mistake was letting his feelings out in public! Nobody on here likes Sutton! But to post that for no other reason than hatred is despicable and should rightly be attacked! Or do you disagree?

29 Dec 2020 11:46:35
Well said KJA9 I for one don't care what anybody thinks of my reply to Tom!

29 Dec 2020 12:30:40
Tomthumb, Mr Hypocrisy at its finest.
Attempts a half hearted apology by attacking the very posters who called him out on his vile post. 🙄.

29 Dec 2020 14:34:49
Can somebody inform me of toms original posts contents as it seems to past me by?

29 Dec 2020 14:41:09
I gerrard let it past re toms post. Now history.

29 Dec 2020 17:37:10
Yeah John sweep sweep!

29 Dec 2020 17:38:27
Gerrard type his name into search you will see it! A well thought out bigoted post that somehow was a mistake 🤔.

29 Dec 2020 17:48:09
It’s qui Clear the he same people attack’s everything I post, all the time, inner, I said I sent condolences to Sutton family, and I said I had zero respect for Sutton,

I didn’t expect such an attack, but hey he, I said it, but the outpouring of horror is extremely strange, again John thanks, and to the decent posters here, I know who will attack whatever I say, and barrow, how do you know anything about me,? Ridiculous but says more about you,
Once again my condolences to the Sutton family, which was in my original post.

29 Dec 2020 17:50:51
I’m just a nosey bas*** John, I went back and had a read, was a bit of a stupid thing to post however not the crime of the century I’ve seen and heard worse. Think toms mibe been on the sauce when he wrote that 1. Sutton is most definitely an a******* but let’s not lower ourselves to that. Sometimes I just think he tries to play the pants villain to seem relevant and get the headlines it keeps him in a job. I find him entertaining tbh. Makes me laugh n smile n get angry so let him batter in.

29 Dec 2020 19:37:38
Tom i read your post! And to now try and attack the people who called your disgusting post out! shows you have very little integrity when it comes to your apology! Trying to play the victim! i'm sure the irony passes you by.

29 Dec 2020 20:00:42
Crying because it gets them attention. Narcissistic supply in the form of sympathy or your benefit of the doubt or you doing things out of pity for them. They play the victim. The tears will come with that role.

29 Dec 2020 20:15:13
Plus you didn't say it once, you posted roughly the same just before it as well. Half hearted apology blaming everyone else because you let your real feelings show 👍.

29 Dec 2020 21:16:40
aww diddums . I can only imagine any of you in a boozer in glesga. shocked and appalled, and needing assistance,

I know its the exact same people who attack everything I say so I won't worry too much . I apologise again to the editor. I'm certainly not going to worry about a few babies

inger, its STRANGE BUT GOOD THAT YOU UNDERSTAND ITS NOT QUITE WHAT THEY ARE IN DEEP SHOCK ABOUT, AND I.

{Ed001's Note - you have a cheek to complain about people attacking you when I constantly have to delete posts from you attacking others. You have had your account deleted multiple times for your constant nasty personal comments towards others. Stop playing the victim, you have brought it all on yourself and they haven't even seen the vast majority of the bile you have posted in the past. You are a bully, particularly toward SGL, who has been repeatedly the target of personal attacks by you that have had to be deleted. For once just man up and grow up and accept responsibility for your own actions, instead of claiming to be just a poor wee man who didn't mean any harm.}

29 Dec 2020 22:00:30
Well said Ed 👌.

29 Dec 2020 22:39:02
Just tell us what you think Ed, no more sitting on the fence!

29 Dec 2020 22:44:51
Was the only the other day Tom I was badmouthing a guy who died that had broken into my pals house last year. When I sobered up I thought my comments were a bit over the top and I should’ve prob just kept my mouth shut, even though I do kind of mean them still. Some things are best left not said. so I get you’ve probably made a mistake. We all do.
