Good solid performance tonight. The midfield is superb and with the addition of Andy King the quality of the depth is pleasing, in fact the depth for nearly all positions is great.
Would like to get a natural left back in and a target man but think this team can win the league this season.

Trev, I like the look of him but I don't think he is what we need right now.
He is good with the ball at his feet and technically sound but didn't really trouble us in the air which is the type of striker we need for a plan 'B' but that said they didn't really revert to the high ball all that often.
I'd keep an eye on him for when Morelos leaves.

Their Cf did look decent trev. I thought we were very good again, I thought ojo was much better and morelos is a different player altogether. I thought kamara davis and jack controlled the game and arfield was just class. we are building a bit of momentum. I thought when jack went off we started to lose the midfield battle, I can see docherty going back out on loan with the arrival of king. I don't much about warsaw but very confident that will beat them. 👍.

Ojos goals/ assists impressive early on. Will beat kents stats from last year very quickly. Albeit we have a better team etc this season.
Also reckon ojo could play centre forward if required.

The whole team played well tonight yet again. But for me the man of the match was steven davis. This veteran midfielder was like silk and absolutely cruised through the game.
He pulls the strings for us make no bones about it. Some of us in the copland now nickname davo the 'PUPPET MASTER'! Tremendous midfielder even at 34 years old now.
Like i've said many times on here,
stevie davis is that good, he could keep the ball off you in a phone box.

A really solid job done tonight with a couple of really good performances. A big positive for me is that I felt if we had to, we couldve stepped it up a gear. You can really see this team starting to grow and it's fantastic. I think we will be really hard side to beat this year. Keep it up Rangers 👏.

We're the only Scottish team that hasn't lost in Europe this time round. We're going all the way. King coming in is good. More players, more rotation, less tiredness. Players covered in all areas. Popcorn shellsuit Ned will be done by Xmas and we dodged a bullet with nervous McInnes. No motivation as a manager. See ya in poland.

Fredo never, Ojo still needs to contribute more and not lose possession in dangerous areas. I concede he has scored and assisted but if you look at say JJ he absolutely terrorises 2 maybe 3 defenders at a time and more than not shots or passes. Ojo is growing into our team and is going in the right direction but not the finished article. Would like to see him use his pace more and beat his man. Still let's not forget we humped a good euro team home and away. Onto the weekend, 0-7. Stewart hatrick.

It’s all about the final 3rd for a winger for me and as someone said he’s not far off Kent’s season last season already! Obv he’s not the finished article or liverpool wouldn’t have signed him for 5 years then sent him on loan. Freddo is having a great time at the Moment looks like he’s enjoying his football not as angry wasn’t his best overall game last night still bagged two with an assist best player we’ve had in a long time! 👏🏻 Still think Barasic should be given a 5-10 game run he doesn’t make as many defensive errors as Flanno (keep him for RB)

Many will remember our lower leagues and many posted on McCoist missing a trick and not playing youth. He did say youth won't win leagues. Fact is he did play plenty, the two standouts being Lewis McLeod and Barry McKay. The McLeod being a sad story being transferred to Brentford getting injured and in recovery falling into a rabbit hole walking his dog in London! Fact is none of the youth he had has amounted to much. I think we should take a step back and realise what good Ally did for us under near impossible ownership circumstances.

Pretty sure and pub league manager could have came in and won those leagues with those players tbh. ian black getting 10k a week. kevin kyle, joh Daly and all the other guff. when we werenin 3rd division our wage bill was still far greater than any other team bar celtic.

I would say ally was a very poor manager with little tactical knowledge.
I remember when guys like aird, Mckay, Mitchell, Mcleod, little etc played Dalziel said not one of them would make SPFL with Rangers, how correct was he.

Mccoist should have took the best players from div2 to win div3 and then the best from div 1 to win div 2 and so on. woulda been much cheaper than giving jobs to wage thief’s like black, kyle, sandaza etc. This way we could have unearthed a few jems like Andy Robertson . Ally mccoist will forever be one of my heroes as a player, but in no way should he be praised for his managerial tenure at ibrox as it was nothin more than a man totally out his depth. any decent junior manager woulda done a better job with the budget we had. no praise from me. some of the worst put together makeshift teams and performances iv ever seen from our great club.

Many will laugh at this but I honestly thought McCoists first signing when we went down should have been Rory McAlistair. That's his level and he would have seen us ok up to the championship. What a waste of money it was on Daly, Sandaza, Kyle etc when there was a proven scorer at that level available for a fraction of one of those player wages.

For everyone questioning the likely signing of King on loan and ‘Why another midfielder? ’ Or ‘We need another striker’. Let’s consider it further. We play a 433 formation and will likely always do so under Gerrard apart from on occasions where during a game he may choose to alter formation. (This also means those folk fixated on suggesting we are going to be changing to a back 3 can forgot it, we won’t be, apart from as mentioned the odd occasion we wish to tighten up at the back during a game) . So currently we have at least 8 players for those front 3 positions (not taking into account ones going on loan or currently not being considered) They are: Jones, Barker, Morelos, Defoe, Ojo, Arfield (Gerrard has stated he is now seen as a forward) Stewart and Rudden as back up. If they don’t go on loan you also have Hastie and Murphy. Now in midfield we have 5 players for 3 positions: Davis, Jack, Aribo, Kamara, Docherty. And as Gerrard has said he wants at least two quality players for every position. So based on all of that why not take King?

It’s a situation that’s gone on for a long while now. You only need listen to the sports coverage and the comments about Rangers to see this dispute won’t end any time soon.
I would love to stop paying a licence fee and tell them to shove it up there chocolate spider as the dislike and contempt towards our great club is pathetic

7 players who probably won’t get a look in specially if we get King in on loan. I think he is a good player well experienced but we are jam packed in midfield now if he was a striker then I’d be all for it and happy about it I think Gerrard needs to prioritise moves for a left back and a striker. That Kaba from Midtjylland looks decent!

Sory Kaba dose look decent strong and holds up the play, took his goal well too. There RB looked decent in the Frist half but then Jones just got the better of him. I'd think about both them as that RB can play left back too.

I'd really like us to sign Greg Taylor. I want us to have a healthy Scottish contingent at the club and feel like we could do with more. Taylor fits the bill perfectly. Young and hungry player who can only get better.

Think were just hedging our bets getting to the group stages and poss beyond with Andy King. He is a very experienced international that could be valuable in european games. If we get to the group stage I think we will press the button and go for another striker also with good international/ european experience. We need more goals from midfield and this should take the pressure off Arfield. We may have to fight two battlefronts for a while and we need almost 2 good squads with ZERO passengers or we will get found out at some point. To topple Celtic and do well in Europe we need to put out 11 players that the support/ management wouldn't think twice about putting in the first team. I think this is the first season for many years we don't have a player that everybody says awe naw he's playing that us lost this game assuming we manage to get rid of the fringe players. Good luck tonight Gers, everybody will be watching so an emphatic win will build up the Ibrox fear factor for all visitors.

King is a good player and brings experience, a winning mentality and a fair share of goals to the middle of the park. Will be strongest midfield we have had in a long time. Looking likely Doc could go back out on loan and prob better for the lad that he does.
