There was many many posts on here saying unequivocally that Gerrard was going to be the next manager. Curious as to what their thoughts currently are? Are they still believing their sources or were they just full on the wind up?

I've spoken with my contact today and to say he was shocked is an understatement. As far as he was concerned the deal was done. For what it's worth, he said he hadn't heard anything of note about a new manager.

Borna how could they have been on the full on wind up? According to just about every source SG was very close to being the next manager and pulled out at the last moment. Do you think people's "sources" should know that the last minute change would take place.
