Lots of comments about Rohl being another project or not being the man for the job.
Personally I'd rather not dip into that English lower league market as Beale and Martin haven't exactly been what we needed.
I believe Gio, Clemment and even Beales team would be sitting at the top of the league this season so there's an opportunity to turn things around.
What we need is a manager who understands that we need to be aggressive from the first whistle. We don't need to hold onto the ball for 90 minutes and settle into a shape before deciding to start a phase of play. We need to pressure teams into mistakes and force goals.
A constructive press and solid shape that can deal with opponents humping the ball up the park looking to get in behind or dealing with a simple ball through the middle of our team.
Dare I say, even take a quick throw in or free kick now and again. We need to be the most disruptive and disciplined team on the field for a change.
Will Rohl provide that?
Is so - great. If not we need to look elsewhere.

Why not? The championship is of far greater quality than the Spfl. If he can coach in it then he can coach in the Spfl.

As I mentioned before, listened to a Shef Wed podder and he said that Rohls team was very slow in every first half and usually conceded first and then would go all out for it in the second half.
I get that the team he inherited were at the bottom of their league but we aren't exactly blessed with an amazing team right now either.

I probably fall into the Barry Ferguson category Strom. And most of the Rangers fans for that matter.
We ALL know what we need to see but the managers so far haven't shown us.
Too often - bar that title winning season - Gerrards teams fell back on Tav and borna lumping crosses into the box against 10 men in a low block. It was only when we managed to get a season where Morelos, Kent and Roofe stayed mostly fit we changed. Kent came more central, Roofe played off to the right of Morelos and all of a sudden we were making chances and winning a title.
Beale said he'd take the handbrake off when he came in. Nothing if the sort happened.
Gio was too pragmatic and from the outside unbacked so had to coach what he was given (sands, king and lundstram centre half's in the champions league ??).
Phil was stubborn and lost the will towards the end with those same interviews, Tav following with the must learn from this and move forward. We didn't learn.
There's not enough anger in this squad. Not enough contempt for the opponent. Not enough hunger. It needs to change.

Sick reading Championship is better quality yet they fail in the SPL, did you not watch Martin and half the duds from England?
