Im not clued up on rohl john so i don't know the context of his situation with wednesday. he may well be a manager who did well with a very poor team but we won't see that because not many watch wednesday and stats like 69 goals conceded is pretty horrendous.
i'd worry if it was rohl it would be against what the majority of fans want with all the gerrard chat and it would all turn pretty sour pretty soon. Gerrard imo would get more time from the fans.
i'd like to see gerrard back to be honest, feels to me like it's happening and i'm excited.

He was in charge all of 24/ 25 season conceded 69 goals league only.

I'd be delighted if it's Gerrard and it's looking likely that it is him.
However, until the club officially announce it, anything can happen. If for whatever reason it isn't Gerrard, I think Rohl would be good too. One of my mates is a Sheffield Wednesday supporter and he couldn't speak any higher of him. He also told me of how good Gassama was when we first signed him.
Whoever it is between the two of them, and I hope it is Gerrard, they'll be a massive improvement of the imposter we previously had.

I'm sure our board will have performance related clauses if this length of contract is true and I've no cause to question John's info. I'm sure that the clauses will also be the other way where if successful whoever it is will make a wedge. Also another thing to look at if they are successful someone will need to buy out their contract. I'm sure the new board are shroud and have learned by the RM mistake. Whoever the new manager is I'll be happy with as long as they win games it's that simple. I'm for SG just really to bring the support back up but more importantly set the standard which he done before. Winning games is all that matters! Times right now are really tough and trust me I've been decades ago and I thought those were tough.
