Some things passed on,
Coady offered 2 year deal with option for 1 more. He would move with a view to a longer term future over shorter deals down south.
Lyall Cameron injury is minor, media making a nonsense out of it. He'll be on the grass next week.
Max Aaron's is done, should be announced tomorrow. Straight loan.
Poku edging closer, club very keen.
Propper and Dessers will be moved on shortly.

Unionjack, i hope if big dessers is sold, it doesn't come back to bite us big time. The big man has 51 goals for us in two season's and the replacement that's brought in i hope can hit these numbers. I've always believed that dessers is a far better striker than some of our supporters make out and i for one will be sad to see him leave rangers. I now don't think that turgeman will be signed as a possible replacement for dessers.

Always fit, misses chances, but his goal stats are impressive over the last two seasons.
If he was to leave we need to sign a prolific striker and the only two that have been mentioned are Turgeman, and Frigan.
Danilo is an option but even if fit he doesn't have the physicality to play as a lone striker, and that leaves Igamane who is also attracting interest from numerous clubs.

Dessers has no pace, can't link up play, can't win battles versus a CB and can't stay onside.
Yes he scores goals but he won't be a big loss to us. Igamanes development was sacraficed to accomomdate Dessers after his goal at OT in Jan.
If Igamane had similar minutes as a 9 than Dessers last season he would have scored more than Dessers did. If Dessers had been made to play left wing or as a 10 like Igamane was then Dessers would have scored single figure goals.

My issue with this is new are back to buying players a manager wants so that when they are sacked or leaves we have a squad of players that the next manager doesn't want. so we have another rebuild in 12 months. I hope we have learnt from the past and buy for the club rather than the manager.

Turgeman and Pizarro I understand were being watched for 12 months and were actually Koppen and Clement. that is the way I see us still going.

The only way the appointment of Martin could be worse is if he and the new owners know so little about our club that they would bring Naismith in, in any capacity. That shameful interview and some of his comments since should mean he never works for Rangers again .
As for Martin, if he gets the job it will be just like another Beale, talks a good game and has a good interview . His slow build up from the back style which is his sole way of playing will mean more boring football and being faced with a low block almost every game . We don't need a build up to play through the press nobody presses us, especially at Ibrox.
Hope I'm wrong but is sounds like it will be another season wasted.

Prosser was academy manager at Everton and wasn't even responsible for recruitment to there as that was James Vaughan. so would he become our head of academy and the if we made him responsible for that recruitment he would have no experience of it so not long before argument on him 'out of his depth'
Koppen has been a reasonable success so far but still early. a few players brought in who need time to develop and a couple who have already increased in value. BTW every signing won't be a success and no recruitment team manage that.

BAR, he was employed as recruitment director but when Robertson left he became technical director. Originally the job remit was to fix a broken player-trading model, remodel a wage bill that had been allowed to run out of control and restructure the recruitment department.
I think when CEO arrived he went back to that original remit but we might need the academy head to be employed to remove all of the academy tasks he seemed to be given.

How much do you think we can realistically get for both players.

We have stability now and so we will be selling only for top money. I will be sorry to see both go, as will we all, but the way I look at it is that by selling, the club is functioning the way it should. Foreign clubs have heard about Igamane and Raskin and have watched them and they have made up their minds based on that. About £20m for each. I think we will all be surprised.
