I can still remember watching Football Italia on channel 4 back in the day - still love watching Italian football to this day.
Baggio would be in my favourite 11 of all time.

There was a documentary on netflix i think it was about him. Absolutely fantastic player. Channel 4 Italian football takes me back.

What a player he was Ed. I remember back when it was Italian football on a Sunday me and my pals absolutely loved it, we all liked a different team and would really get caught up in it. Can still hear the we tune. Good read Ed didn't have a clue about his dodgy knees tbh, can you imagine how much better he could have been, surely affected his career in some way.

Loved Baggio made the game look effortless and loved Italian football on Channel4 on a Sunday, all started with Rossi back in 82 after that got an Italian top every World Cup after.

Southend are you talking about the documentary golazzothe italian years? It's about how the show was was bought by channel 4 for 1.5m and how huge it became. I think a big part of the popularity was gazza going to Italy, to think we bought him couple of years later is crazy. If anyone not seen it, it's really worth a watch.

I would have Viali in that team. I thought he was a brilliant player. I remember we were apparently very interested in signing him when he went to Chelsea.

I don't think I really seen prime Baresi to be fair.
I really wanted to squeeze DeRossi in too, used to love him.
Vialli and Zola were both close - so many great Italian players in that era.

Pirlo was an absolute magician. Walked through a game and his stats were ridiculous. What a player! An absolute genius and up there with zidane in the middle of the park for me.
