I read an article today about Chermiti's sporting lisbon unders coach saying he's undoubtedly a talented boy who'll have a very good career and he reckons he'll come good at Rangers and prove how good he is ? Ruben amorim also rates Chermiti highly ?.

Chermiti and Aasgaard need to grasp that you need to work, chase and harrass the opponent first, you don't get any favours up here and when I watch them they don't sprint to shut anyone down, talent needs to be earned.

Here is my assessment on Chermiti.
He has been coached at an elite level for 9 years now and clearly has difficulties in putting the things he has been coached into practice. He is not a young wet behind the ears kid he is 21yrs old been in the uk for 3 years and he is a 6ft 4 giant fairy getting paid millions.
He has scored 1 goal in those 3 years and that would coincide with his poor ability to control a football and have any sort of impact in a game. He should be dominating headers and bullying defenders with his massive frame but instead he prefers to use his bum and sit on it because he is the one getting bullied. He is a complete waste of money and let's be honest if he was here for free on trial then he would be going back.

I'm not a fan of Chermiti up to now but he puts in more effort than Miovski and Danilo. Even playing poorly on Sunday he set Gassama up for a great chance and he made one for himself. What did the other two do in the first half.

I've mentioned before that a lot of the coaches at the club have nothing but positive things to say about Chermiti.
Only criticism they have is how quickly he was thrown in.

If I recall Morelos was 20 when he signed and he was gradually integrated over a number of months.
Iga was 21 when he was signed and he was gradually integrated over a number of months.
Why is Chermiti any different? If anything he's would require a longer integration given;
He's played significantly less first team football than Iga or Morelos before signing.
He's coming of the back of a prolonged period of injury
He signed on the last day of the window, so didn't do any preseason work with the team.
