Djiga is a huge downgrade
Who is Fernandez
Rothwell is Pirlo in disguise
Antman looked great first game then had all his belief coached out of him
Aasgaard has ability but ghosts too much so definitely a downgrade
Miovski has been awful the past 2 years
Chermiti has shown glimpses but definitely a downgrade
Gassama has been awful bar the first few weeks of the season.

Meghoma must be bad. A downgrade for yilmaz/jefte wow the boy should hand his notice in with immediate effect. i'd swap cherrubbishty for dija. Play cherrubbishty in defense and diga up front can't get any worse.

Meghoma is upgrade on Yilmaz as he's for bud in terms of ability I prefer Yilmaz.
He's better than Jefte tho.
I also prefer Cornelius to both and all 3 actually.
Cornelius for me is very like papac.

BBJ -Emmanuel Fernandez signed for Rangers on a four-year-deal from Peterborough in the summer of 2025 and is invisible at moment - 3.5 million plus add ons - yet another great buy from our club thanks to Purdy/Thelwell ?dunno his wages but another one to fester in background no doubt -Main question for me is why do we actually have a development squad when we almost never develop players from within? NO MORE MEDIOCRE ENGLISH LOWER LEAGUE PLAYERS- 49rs please rid us of these clowns who have purchased on the whole "drivel" for us, over last year???.

Blue-Floyd I totally agree pal, I can't remember the last time we actually had a boy that came through the academy ages and went on to play a good amount of games for us.
You would think how little money we have we would want to develop these boys then sell so our profits go up year on year and our fans can also get right behind one of our own instead of these English league flops!

MYSTAR - costing for Fernandez is what's quoted from newspapers at the time of signing - what cost are you aware of? Also fans are entitled to their own opinion on quality of players or should they just be grateful for the signings that have been made by a bunch of clowns who couldn't spot talent if it fell and hit them on the head? We as a club are still being taken for mugs and giving long costly contracts to people not fit enough to wear the jersey IMHO ?.

Bigblue and BlueFloyd would love to see academy players more but that's on the SFA. How can they be expected to develop without any games to play? And latest lazy idea is just send them all out on loan. So manager and team is expected to go round and watch a dozen games and hope the others teams are using them the way we like? Actually feel for players like Rice Curtis etc even Cameron to a point who become good enough to get on fringes but not yet 1st team because their career just stalls as training isn't enough.
Same for injured players trying to get match fitness. It's a disgrace. Sorry for the rant.

Think we can forget about the player trading model for a season or two and just try and focus on the please take our player model. By the time Fernandez comes good he will have about 2 hours of his contract left.

MYSTAR - Surely the poorer players who are Scouted (loose term)? are put in a position of trust by those above - we are seeing average players who are just not good enough and mega amounts of cash spent on projects? Players WILL be supported when they can do basics like defend/mark and score goals but we can't even do that - after all that's what they are paid to do - its all down to quality and I can count on one hand the amount of QUALITY players we have signed in last X seasons - so these guys are just cannon fodder and its obvious we can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear -its not the current crop of players fault - its those who put them there that need to see our ire! ?.

We really are feast or famine.
Players hit a run of form and we're debating how many millions they'll make us - they struggle for form and we're debating how they even managed to earn a professional contract.
Given the number of new players, the environment that Martin created, the atmosphere around the club I for one am willing to give every single player an opportunity to reset before writing them off.

Aye Star but we also had guys like Sebo and Kevin Kyle and now we have Rangers most expensive project in Chermiti - do you think he will have a career like Ally and Mark - time to wake up and smell the coffee my friend ??we had a scorer in Cerny for prob half the price of Chermiti but chose the younger super expensive project route - as that is obviously what out club needs at present - NOT! ?.

Blue Floyd, What can be done when Cerny didn't want to sign? this is a massive part Rangers fans are missing out, Chermiti could have a very good career but he's getting written off from many after only being in the country months, remember he's only 21 year old.

Many slagged off the igamane signing for 1.5 million because he wasn't first team ready when he was brought in. One 20 minute sub appearance in the league changed that.
I'd not write Fernandez off yet, he's big and quick. Maybe he won't work out maybe he will nobody knows ?♂️ the same with all transfers but he's only had 3 games, one of which he scored in.
