Thelwell has left. Purdy's resignation was denied.

Must be until we get a replacement lined up, he's got to be held accountable for this s. show as well.
26 Nov 2025 18:45:40
Might be semantics but not sure you can deny someones resignation.
26 Nov 2025 19:00:53
A few are saying this is not the case. Anything from the Club?
26 Nov 2025 19:30:40
Lmac nothing from the club at this stage.
26 Nov 2025 20:44:42
No statement from the club as yet.
TJ, offering to resign is different from quitting. However, you're right, legally you can't deny it, however if he gave the club the choice they can choose not to accept it.
26 Nov 2025 20:45:05
Nothing official from the club regarding young Thelwell leaving. All rumours.
26 Nov 2025 20:47:25
Inside Ibrox is a nonsense source.
26 Nov 2025 20:48:40
Heart and Hand have said that Thelwell Jnr still at the club and no mention of anything regarding Purdy.
27 Nov 2025 04:34:03
As TJB said… I don't think you can deny someone's resignation can you? Sounds pretty draconian!
Although I've been wrong before and I'll be wrong again plenty more times no doubt ?♂️?.

TJBB
100% correct. They can't deny it. They could put on gardening leave until replacement found. But can't stop walking.
27 Nov 2025 06:41:56
No idea if the story is true but they can reject the "offer" of resignation, not the actual resignation. Perhaps they gave assurances his jobs safe and changes have been made so no need to resign. There's been examples of managers offering to resign after embarrassing results but club reject saying no need as trust he'll get things right. Could be something similar.
27 Nov 2025 07:09:11
Purdy needs to go, just a matter of when.
27 Nov 2025 11:22:06
I think Thelwell jr needs to be judged as his own man. I know Norwich are in a terrible mess atm but I like some of the signings they've made over the last few seasons.
27 Nov 2025 15:25:28
???? I'm struggling to work out how someone who got a job through nepotism, can be judged as "his own man"?! ???.
27 Nov 2025 15:32:58
A lot of people taking what Inside Ibrox says as gospel it appears. Absolute fantasists that lot.
27 Nov 2025 18:08:12
Just incase someone on here is thinking about it lol, a resigantion cannot be refused, its not an option for employers.
28 Nov 2025 10:14:41
Hands up, the info was rubbish and Ibrox insider must've got the same duff.
TJ, the resignation can't, the offer to resign can, there's a difference, as explained above, at least 3 times.
